Dans la nuit du 4 au 5 février 2000 vers 2 heures du matin, un témoin circulant en voiture observe un phénomène lumineux se déplaçant lentement pour s'immobiliser au-dessus d'un bois. Le phénomène était silencieux, et se situait d'après le témoin à environ une distance de 200 mètres et 150 mètres d'altitude. L'observation a duré 30 à 40 secondes environ.
