Le 5 février 1994 vers 8 heures, une femme au volant de sa voiture a observé pendant quelques secondes le passage très rapide d'une boule lumineuse. Cette boule a également été vue par un autre automobiliste qui l'a annoncé sur la radio CB. Il s'agit vraisemblablement de l'observation d'une rentrée atmosphérique.
