Le 3 aôut 1992 vers 1h du matin un automobiliste aperçoit, au-dessus d'un talus bordant un champ, un halo blanc de brume de forme lenticulaire. Situé à 10m du véhicule et à 3m de hauteur cette brume s'estompe et le témoin aperçoit alors un objet de forme ovale, gris sombre, dont la partie supérieure est transparente et laisse voir une forme humaine en position de pilotage et portant une combinaison argentée et un casque. L'objet n'émet aucun bruit. Réveillant son épouse installée sur la banquette arrière, celle-ci constatera la même chose. Soudain des rais lumineux de couleur violet apparaissent à l'avant et au-dessus du véhicule effrayant les témoins. Le conducteur décide d'accélérer l'allure. Sa femme sera la dernière à voir un objet en forme de cylindre disparaître à très grande vitesse.
