Le 3 janvier 1986 à la tombée du jour, un couple observe depuis son véhicule une grosse boule qui descend progressivement et lentement vers l'horizon. De cette boule de couleur orangé s'échappe de la fumée noire. Cette observation a duré entre 2 et 3 minutes sans que l'objet ne change de direction.
