Le 3 juillet 1982 un témoin aperçoit depuis la fenètre de sa cuisine une boule orangée de 20cm de diamètre qui scintille. Le temps est très orageux et cette boule se situe en avant d'une formation nuageuseuse qui arrive sur le secteur. Lors de l'observation qui a duré plus d'une minute, cette boule a gardé la même trajectoire et se déplaçait rapidement. Le phénomène a disparu brusquement.
