En juillet 2008, un témoin rapporte une observation faite de nuit en 1980 ou 1981 avec deux autres membres de sa famille sur l'axe N-S de l'autoroute Lyon-Avignon. Durant une trentaine de secondes, ils vont observer une boule lumineuse qui se divise ensuite en trois entités stationnaires avant de disparaître dans le ciel à très grande vitessse. Nos demandes de compléments d'informations (notamment sur la date qui est ici donnée arbitrairement) sont restées sans suite à ce jour et nous manquons d'informations et de précisions sur cette observation.
