Le 27 juillet 1978 vers 23h30 plusieurs témoins observent une boule de couleur rouge vif dégageant une lueur très intense. Celle-ci semble tomber du ciel à proximité de leur habitation. Un des témoins indique qu'à minuit quarante cinq elle verra de nouveau la boule s'élever et repartir. Aucune trace de la chute d'un objet n'est retrouvée par les témoins et la gendarmerie dans le secteur. Aucune autre information sur ce phénomène ne sera recueillie.
