D'après un courrier reçu par la Gendarmerie, un témoin en vacances aurait vu le 1er septembre 1977 à 20h15 les déplacements de trois objets de la forme d'un œuf légèrement aplati. De couleur brillante, ils émettaient des rayons lumineux. Aucun autre témoignage ne sera recueilli sur le secteur d'observation, secteur par ailleurs régulièrement survolé par des avions provenant de deux aérodromes à proximité.
