The report, as filed
La Veta, Colorado. 10:30 a.m. Witness: State Senator S.T. Taylor. One dirigible-shaped object (fat front, tapered toward the tail) object, which was luminous green-blue and jellylike, appeared overhead diving at a 45' angle, then reduced angle to 30'. Object seen for 5 seconds.

I went out in the evening to take my dogs out. In the sky to the east, there were 3 large yellowish lights, then three more appeared right behind them, for a total of 6. The first three lights disappeared one by one from left to right, then the last tree disappeared simoutaniously. It was dark, so all I saw was lights, nothing else.

In the western sky.There was a cloud bank that was approaching fast. Above the cloud mass was a huge light. The light reflected off the cloud edges. I have seen approaching jets/airplanes with approach lights. There was a single light. The light suddenly went out. The cloud passed overhead. I saw no contrails . This light and cloud came from over La Veta Pass so it was very high in the sky.
