Le 7 octobre 1954 à 9h deux personnes aperçoivent à la verticale du clocher de l'église un engin de forme ovale couleur aluminium très brillant. L'engin se déplace SE-NO. La durée d'observation est d'une minute. Cette observation fait l'objet d'une fiche de renseignement succincte par la gendarmerie nationale.
