As I was driving on Rt. 6 just west of Tunkhannock, PA, I saw a bright blue flash in the Eastern sky. I got on the 2-way radio and asked if anybody else saw it. I had a confirmation from a driver in Wysox, PA and another driver near Noxen, PA say they saw the same blue flash. It only lasted a split second but was bright enough to light up the whole eastern sky from northeastern PA. [NUFORC annotation: Lightning - Possible]

Clear sky, I was walking my dogs outside my lawn facing 300 see a (1)flash starting around 210 (30 angle going towards the horizon which was my tree line) thought it was a meteor at first but there was no trail. As I walk to the side of my house to get a clearer view of the sky (Orions belt left of the sky)facing 210 (60 angle) now I saw another seemingly instant (2)flash no trail white bright light curving almost like an S but more so elongated. The light disappeared I saw the beginning and the end. The end was about 75 angle. (3)Then it appeared back into the sky from my view left side of the orions belt starting below his legs curving around it and and up towards 80 angle then dissapearing also seeing the end. No trails for anything no means for propulsion seemingly appearing in one side of the sky out the other. Quiet night no noise. There was also a plane in the sky heading towards Cincinnati I believe and I heard a helicopter. Before I left to walk my dog I was in a call with my friend on my pc using discord. When I came back inside my pc was back in the Home Screen page wanting a password and disconnected from the call. And that wouldn’t have happened other than my computer losing power and coming back on. I have no screensaver settings or any previous electrical problems with my PC Could be coincidence but all that happening together seems odd this was an explanation for checked box for electrical/magnetic interferences.

I have spent the past couple years doing my meditation outside and (earthing /grounding to help deal with chronic pain and depression). About a year and a half back i started seeing in the night sky, flashes of light here and there mostly above 45 degrees. Some would but dim flashes some would be quite bright much brighter than jupiter or venus. sometimes while the flash was blooming it would collapse and be followed by a short streak of light. Or there would be several short flashes in a row then nothing again. or nonlinear flashes.. I am a ham radio operator and used to tracking satellites.. At first I was thinking some could be written off as iridium flares, other satellites rotating etc.. Maybe some kind of star explosions? But the flash streaks I couldn’t explain.. Back then I had no way to capture what I saw as my camcorder couldn’t really see stars very well unless zoomed way in and my cell phone doesn’t really see stars well either.. Too bad because back then I could almost set my watch by the sightings as they were very reliable.. I was fairly sure they weren't satellites as they happened pretty late at nite or at all hours at nite.. From 8:30pm to well after 3:00 am in the morning. So they would have to be really high orbit satellites and probably pretty large to put off that much light. Also most of these sightings all pretty much clustered around arcturus. Fast forward to current time, I recently aquired a nite vision monocular, inexpensive, but it sees the nite sky very well.. Not super high definition but quite well. So now I have a tool.. But the flashes in the sky have been almost nill. Or so I thought. So during my meditation time and stargazing periods, I would occasionally pull out the monocular and just scan the sky. On Dec 6 I saw my flashes again.. Only not in a visible spectrum.. Had my binoculars with me and verifies I could not see visibly with magnification. I hit record and recorded . The camera creates 3 min vids then starts another vid etc. so I got like 4 vids of the object totalling maybe 11-12 min. In the constellation of orion, just above and to the right of the orion nebula and slowly moving to the left.. Over that whole time period, I figured if I hold my hand at arms length, and hold up 1 finger, the object traveled basically the width of my finger or maybe 1 degree of arc.. So it was most likely in very high altitute or in space. The blinking was interesting to me as it was usually two dim flashes(pulses) followed by 1 really Bight flash(pulse), and kept repeating. Being in the IR range, I don’t think it would be nav lights of anything I am aware of other than possibly military. Or maybe some type of propulsion system? My IR can see in black and white or it also has a mode where some of the IR colors can be seen thus you can see some of the color in the nebula and the colors of the flasshes are like a dim yellow red orange and the bright flash is usually very white.. I did not use any zoom. I have worked in Aviation for about 12 years and am familiar with numerous aircraft and flight cgaracteristics.. I live in the flight path of a major airport and also familiar with aircraft flight characteristics on approach and take off and sounds etc.. As well as many of the different nav lights , landing lights etc. Im not an expert but quite familiar. I captured the object again on december 7or 8 a nite or two later in Orion near the nebula but moving up and to the right.. It was cloudy so only got one short vid which I may add to the youtube ones.

I was driving my daughter home at approx 12:15 pm and saw what I thought were pigeons moving erratically in the sky. Upon focusing closer, I could see they were way too far up to be birds. I pulled over to observe- they were flashing and moving in the sky, about 15-20 of them. They did not look like drones. I called my husband who was at our home about three minutes away- he went outside and saw them as well and was confused as to what they might be. I first contacted a local news station who replied to my submission but that was all I heard from them. Then I posted to instagram to see if anyone could suggest what they were- people seemed just as confused as me. I posted to the Next Door app to see if anyone else saw it, not one person. I then called the Riverside Sheriff to see if they had info or anyone had reported it and they had no information. I have no explanation for what these are at this point and would be so grateful if you find out they are not UFO’s that you let me know as I am creeped out!!

Stepped outside pitch dark and I look to my North and I see these bright flashing lights blue red white yellow just blinking for a second I thought it was a plane so I looked up flights around the nearest plane was flying towards pdx plus it was flying by Salem at the moment around 2:15 not headed towards RDM I flashed a bright laser and it moved slowly up and stayed in that position. I checked to see if it was getting closer but it stayed In the same spot blinking brightly no sign of movement stayed looking till 3:00 and no change the same position

we took pictures of the sky bridge and I saw some objects in the distance while the picture was taken I saw a huge flash and noticed three objects at the top shot straight up while one object at the far right shot straight ahead while a couple more objects was coming in the area of the others ufo which made a big flash and all the objects quickly disappeared. I reported this and no one got back to us on this. It was a clear night and could not see the objects with your eyes until the pictures were taken then I saw it all. Bogey! At approx 04:23hrs looking up at the cloudy early morning sky from behind Starbucks spot prior, mostly S - SW at a really bright appearing star or planet or other?¿ at a very very high altitude *checked with saved Earth Sky emails and not a thing jived for bright objects in the early morning sky in that direction, no known planets or stars mentioned. Will attempt of course to decipher at a later point in time. And huh, as I sat there and the broken, rolling cloud cover doing its thing and just below the bright object in the early morning sky, at a very very high altitude there all of a sudden! appeared a faint 'flit! flit! flit!' of a spark practically asking, "do you see moi?" and then of course cloud cover made it go bye bye. Wow! Ok...then from somewhere up high to my left dir. was in a mostly E heading a very familiar, distinct -flash!- not too far behind me to my left, and it was bright! Now! I whip my head around to the left not really knowing just what to expect next. Some more familiar flashes in a row? No. This early morning it was one softer, fuzzy almost and really bright -flash!- and finished.

I am an Airline Pilot flying a Boeing 767 from Memphis, TN to Charlotte, NC. All month the same other Pilot and I have been witnessing strange lights in the sky. On this particular early morning, we had two more strange occurrences. The first happened at cruising altitude. I can’t recall if we were at 34000 or 36000 feet. We were scanning the skies because we have seen numerous strange light occurrences all week. They have always been small lights appearing and disappearing that seem to be in outer space. This one was different. Within 5-10 seconds, right as we were looking outside the left window of the aircraft cockpit, we both saw 3 separate very bright flashes of light in the same vicinity of each other that were bluish green in color. They flashed in sequential order then never reappeared. About 20 minutes later, on our descent into Charlotte, NC I saw a small white light from deep outer space that quickly flew towards my side of the cockpit on the right side until it appeared as a large white orb then vanished. It started as a small light like a shooting star, then within 3-5 seconds it was a large orb that felt like was within 5-10 miles from us. The orb was about the size of a basketball before it vanished. I was truly in awe of what I had just witnessed. The other Pilot did not see this orb as it happened so fast. What was really disturbing to me, is that I felt the orb could read my thoughts. Just prior to this happening, I was still trying to digest the previous 3 flashes of light on the left side of the airplane. I distinctly remember thinking to myself without speaking, asking whatever light phenomenon to show me sometimes definitive so I could rule out satellites, etc. Within a minute of me thinking this, the orb appeared. The other Pilot also told me he almost felt like these light phenomenon were reading our minds or telepathically communicating with us. I know this sounds absolutely insane, but it is what we experienced.

Roused at 3:05 am. Had feeling to look out my bedroom window and so I did. When I look around in the sky I noticed a flashing white light. I watched to see if it was a plane. Noticed it was going much faster than a plane. It started about half way in my window facing East then within 15 seconds it was in the Southeast part of the sky. I reached for my phone to get video and when i got back, moments later, i look out to find it was nearing the South part of the sky. It flashed two more times and it was gone. There was still open sky to see more flashing, but nothing.

I have been witnessing strange lights or orbs (I’m honestly not sure) for over a year now. They are sometimes white, sometimes flashing different colors. They seem to stay in a generalized area for the most part but will bounce around. There are times that they move significantly. I’ve caught on film throughout this past year many things I cannot explain. I’ve shown people that don’t understand it either. In one picture you see a white ball looking object on the ground in front of the shed. I was outside on the porch smoking a cigarette when I looked and noticed something seeming to glow. I then took a video and showed the people whose house it was and they had no explanation of what it could be. We were on a dirt road with no neighbors anywhere near us so it wasn’t some ball from a neighbors yard or balloon or whatever. The videos are anywhere from last July- yesterday. I would love for someone to come witness this that can give me some sort of peace of mind about what I’m dealing with. There are many videos some hour or longer, in which case a couple times I have lost spurts of time. I have no recollection of those minutes that pass. I should note that I have never felt threatened or scared in their presence, just curious and almost hypnotized.

My 19 year old daughter and I were heading towards Gatton from Ipswich way. We were about three minutes away from the Gatton exit when we noticed a very bright white light above the mountains to our left of our Horizon view ahead of us. The light was so bright like a LED high beam light of a car, and it was as big as looking at a light on a car that you’re about to pass by, but it was far in our horizon, just hovering right on the mountain. It then started to flash and was lifting up and out into the sky. The flashes were fast and short bursts of movement for about three or four flashes, but as the object started moving further across the sky with each flash it was moving a much further and faster distance. This thing was HUGE… like so big and bright, almost blinding bright and moving so fast. The last 2 flashes we saw it literally moved from our right peripheral vision all the way to our furthest left peripheral vision in literally a flash of a moment, like this was super speed, and then it disappeared. My daughter and I were absolutely bedazzled by this, and couldn’t believe what we witnessed. We also felt a very weird like pulling heavy sensation in the back of our heads and felt like a pulsing energy. Anyways, I dropped my daughter off to her girlfriends and pretty much turned around to drive back home straight away, and would you believe it I saw this thing again, YES, I saw it AGAIN!! I couldn’t believe it myself. This time it was travelling in the opposite direction, heading back towards the mountain that we originally saw it from and to my right. This time though, it was travelling very close to the ground as though it was almost skimming the ground flying across the cow paddocks with more frequent flashes. Again, this light was extremely bright and flashing and moving quickly. The size of it, which is strange, was the same size that we saw when it was up high in the sky, but it was obviously much closer to me this time as it was skimming the ground at the fields right next to me basically. But yes, again, it was a little bit bigger than you’d imagine looking at a headlight of a car and very bright white like a LED high beam light. I’d love to know if anyone else witnessed this or if there is any crazy explaination. Also there was zero sound…

Wow! At approx. 22:35hrs looking mostly N/NE in the nite-time sky as I sat in the outdoor seating area just outside the Spokane Convention Center did appear a black flash, off in the distance. Altitude of these events? Difficult to even guesstimate IMO at this point in time. And as best as I can describe these first time observable 'things' above. It reminded me almost instantly of footage of the Black Knight satellite. Being as it was THAT dark. Darker than dark. And the shape, dimensions of that (BK)/a craft/satellite. Peculiar thing about this area in the sky tonight off in the distance over N. Idaho is that prior, around 21:44hrs or so did appear in a very very quick evolving and decaying (mostly subdued in colour) a blue -flash!- and a fuzzy dark red dot. The dot remained static and stayed visible the longest. Approximately in the same area of the visible dark sky. This 'play' conjured up imagery I revisited on a recent train ride up the coast (West Coast). A truly bizarre scenario that played out (real-time, physical. Contact of the 4th Kind?) in one of the back alleys near the Steam Plant here (yr.2012-13) where in an area in the clear blue daytime sky 'slid open' like a door on rollers one afternoon just above a loading dock area. *on this revisit had to remind myself that Fairchild AFB is merely up the road from where this took place. Like that. Unmistakable 'fracture' of the very air, space around you. And then tonight, for whatever reason. That ever so dark shape. -flash!- or -pop!- into observable view, no visible 'light' flashing. Yet, how to describe objects and events not observed by me personally prior, and processed in THAT grouping is/was unknown territory to me. Visually acquainted now, going forward...

The first one was noticed when turning off Hwy 13 onto Hwy 92. It was stationary. Flashing. Then as we got closer we noticed another one on the other side of 92. Then a third one appeared. After we started to video they started moving fast. One headed east. The others northeast. We took videos. * please excuse the language in the video. We were on our way home from a football game. We decided to not go home and see where they were. It was like two miles or so past our house.

While driving on a rural highway, I looked up into the sky and saw what could have been a shooting star in a linear path as all are; however, it was not a white light. It was a neon greenish light that only lasted seconds. I have never seen a shooting star that color before.

My brother and I witnessed a small but extremely bright flash of light occuring overhead every thirteen seconds around 9:22 pm on August 13, 2023. The flash had no visible cause and occurred at different locations in the sky moving slowly south. It did not appear to be moving in a straight line and no vehicle of any kind was visable.. At the same time, we were able to see airplanes with flashing lights moving across the night sky. We could not follow whatever it was, but had to simply wait for it to flash to know it's location. It did not appear to be a satellite, plane, or military flare. It was a clear night with stars visible and a really bright moon.

I saw a bright light flashing, moving from south to north in the eastern sky. Approximately 45-55 degrees above the Horizon. Then suddenly it shot like a shooting star 10 to 20 degrees (at least from my perspective angle) to a sudden dead stop seemingly almost above me. It seems as if it was just a few blocks away or over down town, but seemed like it was only 500 feet above the city! It then began to flash a single bright flashing light every second to two second intervals very steady pace. Not making a single sound! Where it just hung out stationery for approximately ten minutes or so, silently. I called my neighbor out to watch it and witness it too. Which she did. Behind and above the brilliant flash I could see what seemed like a large bay window. Like maybe an observational window. It was an aqua color.Then it after what seemed like about ten minutes or so, it slowly went out of view behind the building as it moved in a N.E. direction. At first I went back to my porch then decided to walk all the way over to where I had last seen it going behind the buildings. I briefly saw it again but as it kept moving I lost sight of it. So I went back up to my porch. Next thing I knew it was in the deep southern sky traveling west and went out of sight behind the trees. What it seemed like it did was make a maneuver that was impossible for a human occupant to survive (thus showing off ‘’we are not human”) Then stopped directly in the middle of air traffic flight path from the Eugene Airport and hovered there for ten minutes or so, as if to say “so what are you going to do about it”? I am trained in deep sky observations, and using indirect field of view it see details as I have had a number of large telescopes and have sat on the board of directors of the Eugene Astronomical Society. I can’t say for sure what it was I saw. But I can tell you what it wasn’t. I am not ignorant to the night sky.

Saw it far above in the sky, was flashing different colors - I took a 14 second clip with my iphone 14 pro max and zoomed in as much as I could. This was at 5:23 am - I was headed to my gym. I saw this right before entering my car to leave for the gym. I saw no other aircrafts visibility around this object.
