Le 1er février 2025 à 20h28, le témoin stationné sur une petite route de campagne à proximité du village d'AVESNES-LES-AUBERT (59), procède à une série de prises de vue en mode time-lapse à l'aide de son smartphone, dans le but de photographier la Lune et la planète Vénus. La séquence dure environ quatre minutes. Une image extraite du time-lapse, ainsi que le fichier complet, sont transmis au GEIPAN le 11 février 2025 via un lien de téléchargement, accompagnés d'un Questionnaire Technique (QT) dûment complété. Le témoin n'observe pas de visu le PAN, mais uniquement a posteriori, en visionnant le résultat de ses prises de vue. Dans un premier temps, il envisage la possibilité d'un artefact lié à la prise de vue numérique, avant de noter que le déplacement de l'objet évoque, selon ses termes, « le mouvement d'un satellite ». Une analyse astronomique depuis Lille avec l'outil Stellarium (logiciel libre d'affichage du ciel de manière photo-réaliste en temps réel) confirme la présence de la Lune et de Vénus, visibles dans le ciel à l'heure de l'observation (Annexe 1). De bonne consistance*, bien qu'il n'y ait qu'un seul témoignage, l'analyse de la courte vidéo et de la photographie fournies permet de conclure que l'observation correspond probablement à un reflet parasite de la Lune dans l'objectif du smartphone utilisé par le témoin.. Cette hypothèse s'appuie sur les éléments suivants : - Le logiciel d'analyse photo du GEIPAN, IPACO*, intègre un outil spécifique à la détection de tels reflets. Cet outil a été utilisé dans le cadre de cette analyse et permet de démontrer sans ambiguïté, qu'il s'agit d'un reflet causé par la présence de la pleine Lune dans le champ de vision de la vidéo et de la photographie. Ce reflet se positionne systématiquement à l'opposé d'une source lumineuse intense, suivant un axe de symétrie centrale passant par le centre optique de l'objectif de l'appareil.. La méthodologie inhérente à l'analyse de cet artefact peut être consultée sur la page reflets optiques du site IPACO. - Un écart a été observé entre le centre géométrique de l'image et le centre optique de l'objectif. Cet écart peut être attribué à un léger décalage entre le centre du capteur d'image et le centre du système optique du smartphone. Cette différence a été clairement identifiée et mesurée à l'aide de l'outil dédié du logiciel IPACO (voir Annexes 2 et 3). - L'examen de la vidéo permet de constater le déplacement simultané, toujours selon un axe de symétrie centrale, de la Lune et de son reflet (le PAN noté par le témoin), mais également de Vénus qui produit également son propre reflet, quoi que moins visible que celui de la Lune. Deux mesures locales (en pixels) effectuées entre d'une part la Lune et Vénus et d'autre part leurs reflets respectifs montre que l'écartement est exactement le même (436 pixels). (Annexe 4). - Forme de croissant, comme celle de la Lune au moment des prises de vue (elle était illuminée à 13,2%). La forme du reflet est inversée, conformément à l'application de la symétrie centrale selon l'axe optique. - Couleur qui peut être bleue, verte ou rouge, typique de celle de la couche protectrice extérieure de la lentille externe de l'objectif. Nous ne savons toutefois pas si, pour le modèle particulier utilisé par le témoin, cette couleur est bien verte. Le témoin n'a pas été en mesure d'observer le phénomène à l'œil nu, celui-ci n'étant visible que sur l'écran de l'appareil au moment de la prise de vue, ou a posteriori, lors de l'examen des images sur un ordinateur. Le témoin confirme d'ailleurs avoir constaté la présence du phénomène uniquement après avoir visionné les photographies. Le GEIPAN classe cette observation en A : artefact parasite de reflet d'objectif de l'appareil de prise de vues. *selon les critères du GEIPAN, la consistance est la quantité d'informations considérées comme fiables et objectivées, recueillies pour un témoignage. *IPACO : Logiciel d'analyse et de traitement d'images du GEIPAN (IPACO.fr). The object in the sky moved laterally, with no exhaust, and was smaller than an airplane. It was maybe one to two miles away from us. As we observed it in the sky it turned at an angle and seemed to reflect the Setting Sun and there was a flash of light on the side of the object. Immediately after that flash of light the object disappeared. There were no clouds that it would have disappeared behind, nor any other objects. It was a clear sky and we had a clear view of the object.

Tonight, on Dec. 8th, 2023, I saw a large air craft in the sky unlike any I have seen before. I saw it clearly. It was a chevron shaped craft, with a straight row of lights in the back. The lights were a greenish blue. The craft looked like dark gray metal. It was flying on a diagonal in the sky through my neighborhood. I called to my husband to run out and he took a video with his phone. By the time he came out, it was farther away. When I watched the video, the lights were behaving differently on the video than I saw with my naked eyes. This has now confused me a bit because now I can't remember how exactly the lights were behaving, but I noticed it was definitely different on the video than what I had seen. He said maybe it's a helicopter or a drone, but I disagreed and said it was shaped like a bat, and very huge, and I had watched it when it was closer and not so far away when he saw it in the cloudy sky. I drew a quick hand sketch of it when I came inside, and sent it to my friend. She found this sight and sent me back similar images. On this sight, I see the chevron as an option and that's the shape! I posted this on my facebook. Everyone is shocked! [NUFORC annotation: Balloon - Possible]

Standing outside of my 12th-floor patio in my apartment building, I witnessed something approaching from North Austin with no visible lights (it was past midnight). Knowing this did not match commercial flight routes I had seen previously, I watched it fly almost directly overhead me in a south or nearly southeast direction. The first thing that came to mind was a stealth bomber like the B2, but I wouldn't understand why it was flying so low with no lights. I could clearly see the Chevron shape in a light grey tone, but couldn't discern whether it had a full triangle that was black or a darker color. I watched it fly above me for about 30 seconds, where once it got above I removed my headphones and heard no audible noise. At one point, I almost believed the front of the object changed shape from being a straight-angled Chevron, but I couldn't say this for certainty.

Object was spotted too far south to be UAL1871 or VAL804 and too north to be DHK379 Appeared to ascend to the south of Ferris wheel at nearby amusement park. Vertical ascent and lights made me consider a drone at first, as it was almost disk shaped, but as it moved across the sky I observed it make a number of unnatural course corrections. Lights pulsated around it left to right, red and white lights. Speed varied and seemed to slow down as I called up to it.

Another party and I were outside discussing the stars. We simultaneously noticed the craft above. The craft made no noise and was traveling at a low speed in the sky. It was almost the color of the the night sky, although a few shades lighter. Said craft then traveled southwest towards downtown and blended in with the lighter pitch of the city lights. The event was approximately 45 seconds in duration at approximately 2132 hours.

On Sunday November 5th of 2023 at 2:45pm at 86th and Zionsville Rd in Indianapolis, I was looking up into the sky when I observed a circular whirlwind and about 40 or more unidentified chevron winged aircraft in the sky. The aircraft was very high up and was visible for about 5 minutes. I only caught 52 seconds of it in video and I took 1 snapshot picture. Most of the aircraft had disappeared or fallen out of my view by the time I made the video and took a photo.

While sitting in my hot tub I was looking in a Southward direction waiting for the SpaceX rocket launch, when I saw what I thought was a shooting star, but then I realized there were more lights around what I thought was the star. The lights were in a chevron shape and were very dim. The object with the lights moved across the sky very quickly. It was out of my view within 3 or 4 seconds. The object appeared to be flat and made no sound as it moved across the sky. My boyfriend also saw it as he was in the hot tub with me.

At 1025 pm I pulled into the Walmart parking lot on Louis Ave Sioux Falls, A large chevron shaped craft was moving at a very low altitude (100ft to 150ft) approximately 300ft in front of me. The craft was flying slow probably about 30 mph just clearing the top of Walmart, the craft was about the size of a couple city buses and moved with zero noise, the skin of the craft seamed to be coated in a light absorbing material and appeared as a black chevron moving against the back lit sky with a sort of shimmer around the edges, the craft itself had no visible light what so ever it seamed to absorb light, if it were not for the city lit sky you would never see or hear it, because of the city lights it appeared as a chevron shaped hole in space. As it crossed the store heading north it banked east presumably to avoid a air plane that just took off from the air port on the north side of the city, by time I parked my car to get a better look it had moved into a darker part of the sky and was no longer visible against the back drop of the night sky.

It was very large, much larger than commercial planes flying overhead. It came from the north and was flying south east. It was a chevron shape, almost translucent in that it matched the night sky. There were “lights” that looked almost like small luminescent reflectors than actual lights, about 20-30 that were in the shape of the craft. It had a haze around it that helped make out the shape. It was flying quicker than the commercial craft. Absolutely silent. Flew straight and then in a weird sideways pattern before continuing on its original path. It did not appear to be any sort of plane or small military craft that is publicly known. It returned about 15 min later, following the same path. Without the haze and glowing quality (they almost looked like the appearance of distant stars except they were all moving together in formation) we would have not seen the object.

I was observing the night sky for only a few moments, when I noticed motion in my peripheral, to the north and about 80 degrees up from my location in my back yard. It was 12 or more very faint points of light forming a perfect chevron or boomerang. I watched the shape move in a linear constant speed from East to West with no sound. At first I thought it could be birds migrating, given its apparent size and silence from my perspective. But its shape was perfect and its path was perfectly straight. I could detect a shape that was greater than just the points of light as it passed over the stars, again like that of a boomerang or plane wings with no fuselage. From my perspective, if the form were a known aircraft, it would be most similar to a B2 Bomber. However, if it were a conventional aircraft, it would have been no more than 1000 ft above the ground. Which would have produced immense sound. Lastly, the appearance of the shape was mildly streaking or fluid in its motion. Almost like it was passing just below the surface of water. I observed it for 10-15 seconds, starting at approximately due north of my location, until I lost sight of it over the West horizon.

My girlfriend and I were on an evening walk up boucherie mountain in west Kelowna, Canada. Approximately halfway up there is a lookout spot which gave a great vantage point to the clear night sky. After admiring the stars for 10 or so minutes my girlfriend startled me by abruptly shouting out “what is that!?” And pointing into the night sky. After a brief moment my eyes came across what I can best describe as a bending of light, holding its form moving slowly across the sky at lower altitude. My uneducated guess would be maybe 10,000 ft in altitude, significantly lower than a civilian aircraft. We could not make out any details of any alien/military craft. Light appeared to be bending around an unseen object shaped almost as a chevron, but with a straight edged horizontal nose. The light bent/refracted around it was almost identical in hue to the particularly colourful deep tangerine moon. My girlfriend described the effect as looking like a “forcefield.” The craft/object moved in linear direction and speed, slowly moving across the night sky until travelling too far away to be seen. It did not leave behind any contrail. The size of said anomaly was maybe twice larger than the size of the Little Dipper, also present in the night sky. The lighting bent around it perfectly held its form, traversing a massive portion of the sky until travelling out of view.

Happened to be outside a little after 8pm CDST in Topeka KS. The object seemed large, black, wing shaped with many light areas, possibly street light reflections. Not bright lights. Brighter than starlight. No sound, no bird sounds, no engine sounds. Only had a pocket flashlight on me with 130 lumens. The object was out of range, flashlight didn't help. Object might be 300 feet above me??? The night was breezy, kind of moved like a "balloon" riding the wind currents. The object was out of sight in about 20 seconds. Not enough time to get a larger lumen flashlight.Object seemed to be traveling SSW. It wasn't a flock of birds, but that could also be used to describe the size of the black wing. Looking at the object as a whole, it looked like the shape was gossamer with 40 or more reflection areas/lights and black.

Town of Carmel outside of the City of Millville, NJ
I was driving down Sherman Ave from Vineland (which is wooded on both sides) and saw this bright lights up ahead (about a mile away). The lights were about ah high as a tower would be and looked like three in a row. As we drove closer, the lights hadn’t moved much and I commented that it may be a helicopter. As we came upon the lights, I was more beneath it, so I pulled into a parking lot and got out of my car. This was where Carmel Rd, Sherman Ave and Morton Ave all meet. At this point I could see it was chevron shaped with a red circular light at the point and white swirling lights on the tips. It barely made any sound and slowly left the area. I did record as much as I could but my phone wouldn’t cooperate! I did check the Flight Tracker and there was nothing on that flight path.

At approximately 1am on Sunday October 1st, 2023, my friend and I both witnessed in it’s entirety, a dark chevron/bullet shaped craft appear out of nothing roughly 20° above the horizon from the Northwest and silently scream (the best way I can describe it’s consistent high rate of speed) across the entire visible sky to the East/Southeast where it then disappeared into nothing roughly 20° above the horizon. This craft wasn’t high enough to be a plane at cruising altitude, and it wasn’t low enough to be a landing plane either. Behind the craft is what appeared to be an orange, red and black plasma trail (best description of the visual, certainly not saying it was for sure plasma), which was roughly 3 to 4 times the length of the craft itself. Unlike a contrail from a plane that will last in the sky for the period of time after the plane has traveled by, this plasma trail stayed at a consistent length and travel behind the craft the entire time it was visible. The craft wasn’t super low, but it was low enough to make out edge lines and details, such as gradients or different textures on the craft itself. On this night it was also a very bright moonlight sky, which, aided in making out the edge and shape of the craft as it was clearly contrasted against the moonlight navy sky, and it’s own black/gray coloring. I know this reporting is only available, because the people behind it believe in this kind of thing, and so do I. I don’t want to go into a long description of how I know it was not shooting star, or how I know it wasn’t a plane, or anything else that could be reasonably explained with our current means of technology. The only thing I can really say is that this has been a huge interest of mine for a long time, I’m not biased as I look at things from a logical and scientific approach. The elevation that this craft was flying at, the speed it was flying at, the way it appeared as it flew, and the fact that it made not a single speck of a sound immediately solidified in my eyes and mind as a true UAP. I have seen many things that I can’t explain in my life in the sky, I read up and keep up with all the latest UFO/UAP research and declarations made by designated teams to study these things, such as the recent NASA panel, and the very recent congressional hearing we had on UAPs. And even through all the strange things that I have seen and cannot explain myself, at the end of the day in my mind, I still said well there could be an explanation for what I saw I’m just not aware of it, a human explanation that is. But I can promise that what I saw does not have a human explanation. I am no certified expert, however, I am a very well-versed mind in the field of UFO/ UAP’s. I have taken multiple collegiate level classes at Arizona State University in astronomy, my understanding of the stars is above average in terms of our society in the United States. If I was able to record at all what I saw, aside from any evidence that is currently being withheld from the public by the governments of the world, what I saw would be the smoking gun evidence the world would need to believe UAPs. An interesting part is that in the past all the things that I have seen that I can’t explain, I have always been alone. However, for this one, which is by far exponentially the craziest thing that I have ever seen, I had a friend with me. WhileI am agnostic if you will, and really approach most of everything in life with a scientific approach, she is not. She is an extremely religious person, who does not, and has not ever given UFO/UAP the time of day she seldom looks up into the night sky. However, on this night after we got home from seeing a movie and going for a short drive, I suggested we walk to my backyard as I had this instinct, I got a gut feeling that we would see something. I said, “I bet if we walk back there, we will see within five minutes.” Not only did we see something, we saw the craziest thing either of us have ever seen in our lives. The most unexplainable thing that either of us have ever seen in our lives; and our experience and description of the craft are identical, even though our upbringing and beliefs are not. If I can find footage of what I saw, maybe from the neighbors ring door camera, and can get access to some sort of radar records of the area at that time of that night, I know that we can bring to light what we saw that night.

I was standing outside in our backyard waiting for my dog to go to the bathroom when a large boomerang shape UFO with no lights glided over our house. It was dark and the full moon was out so the sky was somewhat Lite. The object was grey in color and appeared to be smooth with no sound and no lights. It just glided over the house flying south. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and yelled for my husband but by the time he came out it was gone.

I was star gazing with a friend late in the evening on September 14. The weather was clear, but with some clouds and an occasional thin haze that is common in coastal Florida drifting by. Overall the viewing conditions were good, the stars were clear and there was no moon to be seen. The area I was star gazing from has a mostly unobstructed view of the sky except for some trees to the west. There was a lot of aircraft activity that night, with a military drone doing lazy circles overhead but slightly to our west (this is not uncommon in our area as we are close to several Air Force bases and the drones are often overhead at night). The drone was easily visible by it's flashing navigation lights, and the humming sound it produces. Additional military jets were flying around, often visible but more often you can just hear the sound of the afterburners in the distance. I assume they were running some exercises that evening. We also spotted at least one commercial aircraft (assumed) flying high and along the standard east-west path they fly. Around 11:30, my friend pointed to the north and asked 'what is that?'. I focused my eye towards the area he was pointing and saw what looked initially like a thin object, sort of hazy, cloud-like in the sky heading south directly towards us. It wasn't much brighter than the few clouds drifting around but the speed it was moving immediately got my attention. The 'object' flew directly over us and I will do my best to describe what I saw: A chevron (or V shaped) object, approximately 60 degree angle between the wings/arms. The wings/arms were pretty well defined, as was the overall shape but oddly the surface looked 'cloud-like' and not solid. The 'cloud-like' surface had a slight amber tone to it, and it was lighter than the night sky- and it was either glowing slightly or reflecting light from the ground. I didn't observe any distinct lights on it. There is really no way to determine size or distance above us but it was pretty large in our field of view- if you stretch your arm out and make a V with your hand, it was bigger than that from our perspective. My best guess is it was relatively close to the ground due to the speed and detail we saw. I asked my friend to contribute his recollection and he said to him; it looked almost like individual little faint lights that made up the structure- but not uniform, random. Approximately 30 seconds later, a second identical object followed the first so we got to take a second look at what we were seeing. Neither object made any noise, although for clarity there was a degree of ambient hum from the drone flying overhead so I wanted to include that detail. We discussed whether it could have been flocks of migrating birds...but quickly ruled that out- moving way to fast and the shape was very clearly defined. Military aircraft or drone? Possible. They were flying that night. However it was the 'glowing cloud' aspect along with the apparent silence of that made us question that. The chevron shape didn't have any extra body at the juncture, like a B-2 Bomber, it was just a chevron. If it was a military aircraft they also appeared to be flying a lot lower than they would normally do.

Myself and one other, watching the night sky, saw a triangle object with multiple points of illumination travel above the rim in a path parallel with the horizon at a high rate of speed silently. Although we had differing perceptions on distance between us and the object, I would have to guess it was within 3 miles, if not 1 mile from our location. Other party said it was closer. The rim view allowed judgement for distance traveled which I would guess to be about 3-5 miles. It covered this space in the span of about 4 seconds. After getting first sight on the object I was quickly shocked and surprised, stood up and pointed and followed with my finger tracing it along the horizon, saying holy @&$? Look at that. My knees buckled a bit and, partner said I see it I see it, and it was gone. The object seemed to travel in a way like it was tied to a string from the front and pulled along. Effortlessly and without resistance. Around second 4, the whole shape flickered dimly and was out of sight. We sat and talked about it discussing exactly what each of us saw and how it was nothing like we had seen in the night sky before. It made us both feel uneasy for some reason. We continued to look in the direction of the object as we sat and talked about it more, and about 5-10 minutes later it came back from the direction we saw it originally, this time about 1.5 speed. Lost sight of it when it passed behind a tree in the foreground. Did not see it come out the other side. Dogs started barking, car alarm in a parking lot between us and the object started chirping. At this point the one I was with wanted to go inside. I sat staring for a minute, listening, and I suppose thankfully, nothing more happened. Very unusual, very real.

Approx 3-400 feet in the sky. Bright mirrored silver objects the same size flying in tandem moving up, down and sideways and then the brightness faded and they fully faded and disappeared entirely and never returned.

It was at night and I saw a large movement with bright lights outside. It was a large triangle shape with very bright, icy white lights, all the same size, not blinking. One light was at the tip and the others along the side. I couldn’t tell if there was anything in the center of this because it was too dark. It literally froze in place for 2 seconds and then went down toward the river very quickly and completely out of view. There was no noise, no other lights of any color and the lights on this did not blink light lights on planes do. Plus this thing was quite big.

At approximately 11pm, on a partly moonlit night, I saw a silhouette of a “V” shaped craft with six orange lights along the outside and one larger red light in the middle of the crux. It was not making any sound to where some campers close by didn’t even know it was there. It was moving just above the tree tops along the Lochsa river west to east about 50 mph. I estimate the width from tip to top to be 250’ - 300’.
