Le 4 juillet 2023, vers 16h25, alors qu’il est sur la plage en vacances à Cavalaire-sur-Mer (83), le témoin (T1) observe une forme allongée qui évolue lentement dans le ciel. L’observation est partagée avec son épouse, son fils et sa fille mais seul T1 remplit un Questionnaire Technique. Des clichés du PAN sont également transmis au GEIPAN. De faible étrangeté et de bonne consistance* (plusieurs témoins bien qu’un seul témoignage, plusieurs clichés), ce PAN s’avère être un ballon à l’hélium très probablement en forme de requin (voir la note d'enquête). Une rapide recherche sur le net révèle que ce type de ballon est disponible à la vente, avec des dimensions pouvant atteindre jusqu’à 2m de long. De plus, en période estivale et en bordure de mer, les conditions sont particulièrement propices à l'utilisation de cet objet récréatif. En agrandissant un cliché, la ressemblance avec un requin est confirmée par T1. Également, la trajectoire du PAN est compatible à l’orientation du vent présent au moment de l’observation. Le cas est classé en A : Ballon hélium type « Requin ». *selon les critères du GEIPAN, la consistance est la quantité d’informations considérées comme fiables, recueillies pour un témoignage. I was watching the sunset turn into fireworks then I noticed something in front of the clouds not moving not or doing anything I took my phone out and took a few pictures and even zoomed as much as I possibly could to get a pretty clear picture.

Le 4 juillet 2023, aux alentours de 5 heures du matin, alors que le témoin se prépare à quitter son logement à Champigny-sur-Marne (94), il observe un phénomène aérien non identifié (PAN) depuis son domicile pendant environ 10 minutes. Il décrit ce PAN comme ressemblant à une « explosion lente » dans le ciel, de couleur jaune ambre, avec une intensité lumineuse croissante. Il note également que la « tâche » représentant le PAN change de forme, sans se déplacer. Le témoin réalise trois photographies. Un seul témoignage est enregistré. La consistance* du témoignage est jugée bonne. L’exploitation des photographies a été difficile car de qualité médiocre, cependant une image a aidé à l’étude du cas pour préciser l’azimut et la hauteur de l’observation. *selon les critères du GEIPAN, la consistance est la quantité d’informations considérées comme fiables et objectivées, recueillies pour un témoignage. Nous avons pu démontrer (voir le compte rendu d'enquête) que le témoin a observé la Lune dans des conditions particulières (pleine, au périgée, et partiellement masquée par les nuages). Cette conclusion s’appuie sur les éléments suivants : - Couleur jaune ambre et forte luminosité, fréquemment rapportée lors de telles observations. - Parfaite correspondance entre l'azimut de la Lune reconstitué à l'aide du logiciel « Stellarium » et celui du PAN, déterminé grâce à l'analyse de l'une des photographies. - Observation pendant environ 10 minutes avec absence de déplacement visible à l’œil nu, tout à fait symptomatique d’une observation de nature astronomique. - Forme ronde semblable à celle de la Lune avec des passages de nuages la masquant de manière partielle. L’étrangeté perçue par le témoin s’explique par l’apparence inhabituelle de l’astre (couleur, forte luminosité, taille, forme partiellement masquée par les nuages). It had been a hour or so since my family and I stopped lighting fireworks. I was sitting in my rocking fold up chair in the driveway. I was rocking back and forth when I noticed something above me maybe 500 feet up comeing from the southeast heading northwest. It was moving really slow maybe 10 to 15mph. At first I thought it was smoke from a firework but as I kept watching it a boomerang shape was appearing. It was translucent but I could see the outline of the boomerang craft from the way the lighting and smoke in the sky were reflecting off of it. Then as it was passing over me heading away I could tell the smoke from fireworks in the area were above it and reflecting on the bottom of it and I could see a occasional star also on the bottom of the craft! It was silent no noise almost looked like water it was the strangest thing I ever seen but the coolest technology ever! I don’t know what made me look up there could of been a residence sound or slight hum to it? Not sure it just appeared so fast I couldn’t take my eye off ot it! As it got farther away the area was getting brighter in the direction it was heading which was northwest, the boomerang shape started to fade and it just looked like a large puff of smoke or a cloud moving away about 10 to 15mph or so “so cool” and confusing at the same time. I was not drinking or under the influence I don’t drink just saying cuz it’s the 3rd of July and we were celebrating the 4th. As my mind was trying to process all this I just kept reapeating in my head “we have the technology” “we have the ttechnology” almost like it was a way to calm me because my mind was going in overload looking at this craft I couldn’t make since of it then all of sudden it was like that thought ( “we have the technology”) was being broadcast or put in my thoughts somehow! July 3rd 2023 (full moon) While driving home with my kids I noticed the light shining way way brighter than any airplane or star. Airplanes flying past looked tiny in comparison. Fireball or “light” was stationary not moving seemed low in sky and closer than any airplanes. Airplanes flew by ans if not there. Extremely bright seemingly burning fireball looked glorious in the sky. No noise. No movement. Went home to my rooftop patio where I often spend time - filmed again. I have seen this TWO other times, once in 2021 and again 2022 almost exactly the same but different dates, very slightly different locations and I’ve never seen this so close and so bright before - I watch this particular view at night regularly (almost every night) as I spend a lot of time on my patio. After 45 minutes to an hour light disappeared and did not return - I have not seen it since. I became really sick the next day symptoms of food poisoning. With other sightings I don’t recall if I had a physical reaction but I know that those sightings were also a one time thing. This is not the usual thing I see in the sky - I see airplanes from all angles constantly - this is not an airplane for certain. Or at least I’d be shocked to find out it was. I have videos

On July 3rd 2023, while sitting in my backyard hot tub, I saw something I've never seen before. It was at 22:10 EST in Knoxville TN. The sky had some thin patchy clouds, about 15% coverage. I noticed a rapidly flashing white light, strobe-like, to the North, near Polaris. It was above the clouds and I could see it thru a patch of thin clouds as they passed beneath it. Suddenly, from its stationary position, it moved E at a very high rate of speed, accelerating instantly, moving out from behind the wispy cloud I first noticed it in to a clear spot in the sky. It traversed approximately 45 degrees (from 000 to 045) in approximately 1 second. It then stopped instantly, was stationary for another second and then immediately moved W at the same speed at a 90 degree angle from its initial trajectory, with no observable turn. It was as though it stopped and then rotated 90 degrees and accelerated again, stopping after it transited approximately 35 degrees to a second position in the sky. Again, it stopped immediately with no apparent deceleration. After holding stationary for about one second, it accelerated again at the same apparent speed back towards Polaris (000 degrees). Once there, it stopped again as before and after one second it again appeared to rotate 90 degrees and accelerated to the west (270) until I lost it behind my house. It made no sound and the white strobe flashed the whole time at the same intensity. It was behind thin clouds when I first noticed it; after that it was in clear skies. The whole encounter took approximately 1 minute, maybe less. Its overall path approximated a right angle triangle, until it went west. I'm a retired Navy Commander, and Systems Engineer and have seen many different lights at sea in the sky at night, as well as from my backyard; satellites, the International Space Station, meteors and various aircraft, all moving at various speeds. I have never seen any object in the sky move at the speed this one did. It moved across the sky almost instantly, covering a 45 degree arc in about 1 second. I would estimate it traveled 3-4 times faster than any aircraft I have ever seen.

Shortly before 10 PM I let the dog out to do her duty. Several neighbors had firework displays going on, the closest maybe a quarter mile away. There is minimal light pollution in the area. I looked up at a small constellation of stars and noticed a small silver orb appear close to one of the stars I was looking at. It wasn’t moving particularly fast, much slower than a satellite would. It was at a very high altitude. As I watched it, it slowly faded after traveling a short distance. Then another appeared following the exact route the previous one had just taken. After traveling about the same distance, it too disappeared. Then another would appear, do the same thing, and fade out. I called out to my wife who was out on the porch and I told her where to look and pointed to where I was seeing the objects. She also witnessed several of the objects, and agreed it was very peculiar. They were not planes, flares, or satellites. They all appeared on the same vector and path one after the other, almost perfectly spaced distance wise. As one faded, another would appear. There were approximately 10 to 12 objects total, and the total viewing time was around 5 to 7 minutes. My wife managed to get video of the last two we saw. Very bizarre experience, I will be watching these reports closely to see if anyone else saw the same thing. With it being the 4th and all, hoping with all the eyes to the sky someone else may have saw them as well. [NUFORC annotation: Starlink - Probable]

I was watching a fireworks show when I saw a red orb coming towards my direction. I was stunned because the same thing happened to me eight years ago. That time I was with someone and saw 6 red orbs over roughly two hours. As tonights orb came towards me a Southwest jet was coming from the southwest towards Midway airport. I'm located about 6 miles southwest of the airport. At one point the jet was under the orb. I would take the elevation of a jet six miles before landing, and double it. That would be the elevation of the orb I saw tonight.

Around 8:40 pm, on the evening of July 3, 2023, I was in the backyard with our dog, Luna, and saw something strange in the eastern sky. The last bit of twilight slowly faded away. There were a few bursts of pre-fourth fireworks lighting up the sky. I looked toward the east and saw what looked like a star that seemed out of place because of the intensity and the location. I grab my phone and was about to use the Star Guide app to identify it, when it darted to the left, then right. I was thinking it could be a drone, I own two drones myself and I recently ordered lights for them. I know that you can purchase lights that allow a pilot to control the intensity from the ground, I continued recording when the object suddenly dipped down toward a lower altitude and dropped an amber teardrop-like object that I watched slowly descend towards the rooftops of distant homes, seemingly morphing into a single point of light, which disappeared behind the roofs. Check out the video. I have more footage showing the main object fading in and out. If it were a drone, it violated the FAA flight ceiling, because it was well above 400 feet when I first noticed it. It was also so close to the Deer Valley Airport approach and departure traffic. Very interesting video.

I was watching some objects in the sky, that I believed to be drones but the did not have the usual red and green lights, they looked like flames. I thought they might be remnants of fireworks but they seemed to be flying controlled. Two flew side by side. I didn't even think of them as UAPs. While looking at these, my Granddaughter said "look at that!", I saw it as soon as she said it. Above us, was a circular vehicle, no lights, no exhaust, no control surfaces, no markings, no panel lines. I couldn't hear it maybe due to fireworks. It was just flying in the bottom of the clouds, it's color matched the cloud's color (grey) almost a perfect match. There was maybe a greenish haze around the vehicle. I didn't think to take a pic or video, because I know my phone's camera wouldn't be hi res. And partly due to my disbelief and awe of what I was seeing. It flew from south to north and disappeared behind trees at the horizon. It flew in a straight line just like an airplane would.

My girlfriend, my seven year old daughter, and myself were staying at my friends cabin in Lava Hot Springs Idaho. During the afternoon after my daughter and I got back from a four wheeler ride to go fishing and we went inside because a lightning storm had come over us. My daughter and I went to the balcony to observe the storm and when the clouds had passed over us to the East my daughter pointed out a very strange looking group of flying objects that were very close to the edge of the storm. At first I thought it might be a flock of birds but after seeing how far away these objects were given that they were hovering just above the next mountain range over it became clear to me that these objects would have to be extremely large to be viewed from such a distance. When I looked at the cluster of objects with a pair of binoculars they looked metallic when the sunlight would hit them just right. There were no wings, no navigation lights, and no propulsion equipment. These were indeed metallic orbs I was looking at. The group of objects hovered and fluttered in a very random pattern. I called my girlfriend over, she was inside working on her laptop at the time. I didn't say anything to her about what I thought I was looking at, I handed her the binoculars and told her to look at the objects. She seemed pretty stunned when she observed them, she saw very clearly that these objects could not be explained by any conventional explanation. They stayed there for quite some time, maybe 15-20 minutes give or take. The objects eventually started heading North East until they were beyond my vision from the view point I was standing at. In the video I noticed that there were also multiple rogue UAPs flying around. The first one can be seen starting at the 0.29 mark, when it comes out of the clouds and moves quite fast in a Z pattern descending towards the ground. This object eventually went bellow the tree line and out of site, it's possible it could have made a landing somewhere in the valley. At the 0.46 mark you can see another rogue UAP come in from the right side of the camera and it ascends for a little while until it starts to level out and fly straight heading towards the cluster of UAPs that can be seen off and on throughout the entire 59 second video. I stopped filming the video because I did not know how well my camera was picking up the objects and wanted to get a good look at them before they disappeared. Now after watching this video on a widescreen monitor and a stretched out 1x1 aspect ratio or a full screen stretch (this video was filmed in portrait mode so proper adjustments need to be made to see everything) I noticed that there was way more happening than I had initially observed. I truly do feel like me and my family witnessed something very incredible and out of this world. I put a dropbox link below to ensure the full resolution of the video can be seen. This will be my second encounter with UAP's and this is the first time I have observed them in broad daylight. Please note, the image is only to convey the location. I was unable to capture the actual objects, and I think the marks in this photo are a reflection. Someone else must have seen this since it was broad daylight, close and right above the road. My friend who was driving was as surprised as I was when I pointed them out. They were like three circle or spherical shapes flying in kind of a triangle shape. She says she saw something that looked like it could have been connecting them, so it could have been one object. They did not look ordinary, whatever they were. It was too hard to see if they could be drones, or birds. I tried to get a video but sadly must have hit the stop button when trying to zoom in. I did snap a picture of the location. Strangely—while I thought I was recording the video—I could not see them on the iphone screen, though I could see them in the air still. I may have just zoomed in too far. I did get a picture of the road so the exact location can be determined and I'm hoping maybe someone else saw it / recorded it, or can check if there was drone clearance or something in the area.

I was walking for exercise on long deck outside, facing a full moon to the south, behind trees. Above my right shoulder I suddenly saw a very bright "star" -- a little larger than Venus and much brighter -- shoot across the sky (north to south) and disappear behind the trees. During the few seconds it was visible, it stayed exactly the same size, shape and brightness (no flickering out, no trailing or streaking) with uniform speed and a perfectly straight path parallel to earth. Normally I would assume it was a "shooting star" but its brightness was more like intense LED white. I have never seen a meteor display that type of white light. Also that it didn't vary, flicker, or burn out, or leave a trail. It just disappeared behind the trees. Although it was very fast, it seemed slower than a meteor. It seemed to last too long. My wife and I were sitting on our back patio on the evening of July 2, 2023. As we were sitting and talking casually amongst ourselves, at around 9:45 the “motion” light on our backyard shed turned on. It immediately caught my attention as it’s roughly 30-35 feet from where we were sitting. My wife’s car is parked a couple of feet in front of the shed where the light shines off the front left side. At first I didn’t really think too much of it but I continued watching for just a moment. Then very quickly, I saw a very short “being” run from behind the shed out past a gap and behind the car from our perspective. Its skin color was a very tan looking color. It was barely taller than the hood of the car, which is a small sedan. So roughly 3-3 1/2 feet in height. Its body was small and slender and its head was bigger and more rounded. Its eyes were huge and took up most of its facial space. The eyes were black and very shiny. I could see two eyes looking towards me as it ran by like it knew we were sitting there. I felt as if we made eye contact as it ran by and I was genuinely left speechless for a moment. Immediately after it ran behind the car there was a flash of green light what seemed barely 15-20 feet in the air and that was it, it vanished into thin air. We never saw anything else and were honestly so freaked out we came back inside. After initially seeing the being’s eyes and the feeling that I saw them so clearly I felt like I had made eye contact with it. I had an overwhelming feeling of emotions and my eyes didn’t stop watering for a while. We couldn’t talk about anything else the rest of the night. Every time I even thought about the instance I got instant chills and still felt like I could see them so clearly in my memory. This is a first time encounter for my wife and I and really felt like it needed to be reported somewhere. Thank you for taking the time to read.

About 9:30-9:40 pm, as I was looking south at the rising full moon in a clear night sky from my back porch, I saw a bright white light cross the sky, coming toward me from south to north; it passed over my home and continued north to slightly north-east. It was moving fast, steady, level, bright and silent, and was not as high as airplanes usually are. It was of the brightness of a car headlight, but not as large. I called my husband to come, but it was gone before he could see it. We went into the street to look for it. As we were, we both saw two more lights appear just under the star Arcturus, which was fairly high in the sky to the south-west. The first light was heading east and a second was following behind it from a short distance. Again, both lights were round, bright, steady without flashing, moving fast and silent. They were more like the surrounding stars in brightness, and further away and less bright than the first light that passed over our house, and they were travelling faster than the airplanes that I commonly see overhead. We are in the flightpath of airplanes from the Rapid City Regional Airport, and planes are common sights and sounds. We are also two blocks from our city's hospital and under the Life Flight helicopter's path. These were not airplanes or helicopters. The second light was appearing to catch up to the first when it suddenly took a fast 90 degree turn to the south. The turn was smooth and tight and the light did not slow down. As it was turning, the first light came to a stop and hung there for almost half a minute. It looked remarkably like one of the background stars as it did. Had it not been moving, I would have taken it for a star. The night, at that time, was crystal clear. We soon lost the light that turned south into the distance, and the first light resumed its eastward course. We were able to keep eyes on it for almost half a minute before we lost it in the glare of the full moon. However, as it resumed its course, it seemed to slow and speed up a couple of times, as well as to swerve once, as though something were in its way. We saw nothing, but there was a definite change and then correction to its course. We went inside and my husband checked the flight path of the ISS. It was reported as being in Florida at this time. I have seen these same kind of lights several times in this same part of the sky over the last few years, but this is the first time that someone has been with me as a witness. I am a night person and I love the night sky. I look at it often and am interested in the stars. I am not a UFO person, but a curious person as to what it is that I so often see. My husband mostly humors me, he would rather be inside watching tv, but last night he was disturbed by the two lights that he saw. These lights have always been the same round, white, bright lights that don't change shape or size, that move quickly without sound and that don't flash. They resemble stars and when they are not moving, they are difficult to notice. During the last full lunar eclipse visible in my area, which I observed in it's entirety from my driveway, I also observed two of these lights. They were stationary on the southern horizon, and I was puzzling because I didn't recognize what stars they were, when they both began to accelerate straight up into the night sky. I watched them for a full minute as they crossed paths and disappeared. It is my opinion that they can remain unnoticed when they are stationary, and once they move, they are visible for such a short time that there is nothing to do but watch and be amazed. I personally look up, I keep an eye to the sky because I love the ever changing aspect of the sky both day and night. I always have, and so I see things most people don't simply because they don't pay attention. I think there is more to see that we are aware simply because we don't look. I am also an artist, and I look to everything with an artist's eye and because I want to see. Because I look, almost 20 years ago, I had an opportunity to observe a round, front-lighted, metallic object about the size of a basketball cross low over the roof of my neighbor's house and continue west until I lost it. It could not have been more than 20-30 feet from me. It too moved steadily, on a level course, silent and unflashing. I don't talk to people about it because I am tired of being made fun of, but I think it was significant. It was not a drone. It had no visible propulsion or wings or tail. No intake or exhaust. It left no wake or trail. It was dead silent. I don't know what it was or why it would have been in a small neighborhood in Rapid City, South Dakota, but it was. I would talk about it to someone who didn't make fun of me, though I don't know what that would prove. It came and it went, there was no time to grab a camera, no time to draw attention to it, it passed with a sense of purpose and was gone. It did have to navigate it's way around several trees as I watched. I have no idea what such a thing could be. But had I not paused for a moment to look up, I would never have known it was there. Our backgrounds. My husband is an honorably retired member of the USAF. He's not particularly imaginative and couldn't care less about things like UFOs. I am college educated, had my own graphic design studio, am an active artist of realism, not a sci fi fan, am interested in almost everything, and I am a Jehovah's Witness. My faith places a very high priority on honesty and most in it are very conservative. Few would even consider the possibility of such a thing as an UFO. For myself, I am simply a curious person interested in the beauty and complexity of this world who keeps her eyes constantly open. If anyone believes me enough to want to talk to me, that's fine. What we saw was not ground shaking, but real. The straight-traveling lights could be passed off as anything, but few things can stop and hang in the sky, or execute such a perfect 90 degree turn as they did last night. I do think, given the odds of seeing what we have seen, that there must be a lot more up there than we notice.

I recorded this UFO. I was watching a storm with my family at the bay when a craft zoomed across the sky and then over top of us. It looked florescent yellow to the human eye and on tape it looks like regular white color. It came out from over the water and then as I flew above my head I fell to the ground a few moments later. (Not sure from the craft or from shock)

There was an urgent tornado warning happening, so my adult son and I went out in the backyard to take a look at the sky. There was darkness to the west where the storm was approaching, but as is typical with this kind of storm, relative calm on the other side of its front. There was an obvious object off to the southwest, very distant with a vapor trail, descending from the sky, quite far away. I immediately pointed it out to my son because it seemed odd, and we watched. The object was bright -- at some points, extremely bright. It did not have the appearance of a plane, but rather, a tiny ball of light at the tip of the vapor trail. It's hard to tell if it was falling or not; for a time I thought it was a meteor. I wondered if it was the sun reflecting off something metal (like a plan) but the flare was so bright, it exceeded any expectation of sun reflection, even though that in itself can be quite bright. While watching, I noticed a different object, much closer but high in the sky, and a bit to the right (closer to the storm off to the west). This object was NOT moving -- it was more stationary; it gave the appearance of floating. It seemed metallic and round; that's about all I could make of it. My son also acknowledged seeing the object when I pointed it out. Then it went away -- I couldn't see it, but he could. He continued saying he could see it, but I couldn't find it anymore. But I could still see the original trailing one. Then we both remarked that our eyes seemed to be seeing all sorts of strange things; we figured it was from staring into the brightness for too long. But, it must be said that this 2nd floating object was very distinct and not a remnant of brightness or anything like that. In the checkboxes below, I'll say that the object emitted other objects, in this respect. (i.e., the bright one with the trail, and the separate floating object). Eventually the trailing thing also just sort of dissipated, and it was over. I think it was about 2 minutes or so of observation.

Myself and my daughter saw a bright flashing light 90° from the moon. It was like a very bright star, but was flashing and changing direction. Sometimes the light faded then came back. It was visible between 10-20 minutes from 01.26 on 02/07/2023. We were at her house, and went out for a smoke when we noticed it.
