I was looking just to the south of the Northern Cross and saw a distinctive, triangular shaped light brightly flash just once. It illuminated long enough to realize the direction of travel as south/southwest. Made no sound. Did not exhibit the typical red/green/clear strobing lights of typical aircraft. This is the second time this summer I've seen strange lights in this same area of the night sky. In all the years I've been "looking up", I've seen satellites, 2 comets, run of the mill aircraft, blimps, whatever, but never anything like this.

Sitting outside with friends when one of them said to look up. We saw a triangular shaped object with lights on each end move swiftly with no sound. It happened very fast and I was able to witness about 10 seconds of movement before it went out of view. Consider it my first UFO sighting. There were four lights in a straight line all flashing different colors or red, blue, and green. a little bit in front of the line, there was one singular light that pulsated blue. It started moving towards us after two minutes, and started to fly over us. Right before it came over us, it emitted a sound that sounded like a dirt bike engine, then two side lights came on next to the big one. We only saw one light with our eyes, but caught all 5 on camera.

Black triangular with (larger than normal aircraft) 3 red lights 1 at each point of the craft Locally known as "military operated Delta craft" by not formally disclosed. They seemed to fly in a circular pattern around the area low and very slow almost hovering at times. The apparently mobile makeshift landing and takeoff zone was located in a narrow valley between the city of Eureka and Silver City. There were orange light balls falling from very high altitudes (resembling meteors) the Delta's would dart towards these objects and circle them in close proximity. I observed one of the Delta's actual collide with one of the objects knowing it off course. We are not convinced that this is a serious report. PD

Le 17 septembre 2017 entre 22h et 23h, un témoin se trouve à son domicile (dernier étage d’un immeuble, en agglomération) allongé sur un matelas au sol et observant le ciel par la fenêtre. Il voit apparaître 3 faibles lumières disposées en triangle qui le questionnent par leur aspect inhabituel. Le témoin voit alors se détacher sur un nuage, les contours d’un objet sombre et triangulaire. Le PAN allant sortir du cadre de la fenêtre, le témoin se lève pour ouvrir sa fenêtre. Le PAN disparaît rapidement derrière le toit de son immeuble. L’observation dure moins de 10 secondes. Un seul témoignage sera recueilli. Compte tenu des éléments objectifs suivants : • nuit noire, couverture nuageuse éparse, vent faible à modéré ; • observation de courte durée (10s) ; • plusieurs lueurs aperçues par le témoin couleur jaune orangée et faible intensité lumineuse et masse sombre ; • environnement régional à forte densité aéronautique civile et militaire, au carrefour de routes aériennes civiles et militaires ; les hypothèses privilégiées par l’enquêteur sont : des méprises avec des lanternes thaïlandaises ou des avions civils ou militaires ou un drone civil ou militaire (voir le compte rendu d'enquête). En ce qui concerne les lanternes thaïlandaises, le principal argument en faveur de cette hypothèse est l’aspect du PAN (plusieurs lueurs de faible intensité se déplaçant conjointement) et la perception du témoin citant un seul objet, c’est ce qui est typiquement décrit dans les témoignages rapportant un lâcher de lanternes thaïlandaises. Mais, l’hypothèse des lanternes thaïlandaises, compatible en partie dans la description, n’est pas retenue probable, compte tenu d’un vent opposé à la trajectoire du PAN au moment de l’observation. Dans une région à forte densité aéronautique et à proximité d’une base aérienne militaire, l’hypothèse avion est aussi prise en compte par l’enquêteur. L’hypothèse d’un avion civil ne peut pas être retenue, car l’angle d’observation depuis la fenêtre ne permet pas de bien voir les avions de la route aéronautique existante et ceux présents sur les échos radars ne sont pas dans la bonne direction. L’hypothèse d’un avion militaire pourrait expliquer les principaux facteurs d’étrangeté perçus par le témoin, aspect inhabituel des lumières disposées en triangle, faible intensité. Cela pourraient faire penser à un vol militaire en entraînement en provenance de la base aérienne militaire située au Sud de Louviers, à très basse altitude (hors écho radar). Mais, dans ce cas le bruit des moteurs de l’avion aurait été perçu par le témoin (fenêtre ouverte). De plus, on n’a pas la confirmation d’un vol militaire depuis la base. L’hypothèse avion n’est donc pas retenue comme probable. La dernière hypothèse proposée par l’enquêteur est un vol de drone civil ou militaire. La multiplicité des formes, tailles et aspects possibles des drones en général permet de prendre en compte l’étrangeté perçue par le témoin (aspect inhabituel pour lui qui a l’habitude de voir le survol d’avions). La direction Sud-Nord du PAN peut donner à penser qu’il proviendrait de la base aérienne militaire située au Sud de Louviers. Mais, l’absence de zone de survol aérien autorisée (de plus de nuit) à proximité de la zone d’observation tempère aussi cette possibilité. De plus, on n’a pas la confirmation d’un vol de drone depuis la base. La trajectoire du PAN ne présente pas d’étrangeté (rectiligne, vitesse constante). Cependant, l’aspect du PAN suscite une interrogation forte du témoin (3 faibles lueurs en triangle avec une masse sombre au centre) que les hypothèses envisagées ne peuvent expliquer. Le manque d’information complémentaire (autre témoin, photos, vidéo, précisions horaires) ne permet pas d’exploiter plus avant ce cas. Ce cas est à classer en catégorie «C» : manque d’informations fiables. [GEIPAN classification C — Manque d'informations fiables]

so last night me my mom and her friend were outside talking, i look up in the sky, like i normally do, and was looking at the stars and for planes. when i see something flying slow and with absolutely no sound what so ever flying right in front of us. it was in the shape of a triangle and had lights around the outer two edges, i show mom and her friend looks as well we all see it and we chased it (a lot good that would do) we sat there and watched as it kept flying normally then angled upward and eventually disappeared Witness indicates that the date above is approximate. Hoax?? PD

Friday, September 15, 2017 from Vancouver, Canada. For the past 3 mornings, approximately 5 am, in the eastern sky I noticed a very bright ‘star’ in the sky. It has the shape of an upside down V with a line going down from the middle of the point. When you first look at it – it looks like a plane. Sometimes the 'tail' part will flash red. But the object does not move. It seems to just hoover in that one area. It disappears once it gets light outside. What is it?

My son was outside waiting for his school bus to come and he called me and said “Mommy, remember the thing we saw last year on July 4th? Well, it’s outside again." I was in shock, and immediately told him that I was going to look outside from my bedroom window to see if I can see it. I saw it and told him I was going to call him back, since I had to record it on my phone. I looked and saw the orange orbs. It was getting brighter, then it would fade, then reappear. I saw it was getting closer to where I saw an outline of a triangle and I started to get scared because this was the closest I have seen it and I do not want to see it that close because it creeps me out. I had to get ready for work so I had to stop looking outside. I went back to look out the window and it was back again. Outside was getting lighter and I saw it and recorded it. I recorded it 3 separate times on my phone. This is the second time we have seen this in our neighborhood. We have not received the photos, and have no means of contacting the witness, since she provides no contact, or personal, information. PD

I took a picture of the night sky. When I looked at it 2 days later on the computer screen I noticed a laser like beam in the pic. Closer up, I noticed a Long Triangle shape craft in front of the beam. Probably some cool military craft, it had no lights in it. Planes get in my night shots all the time. This was different. My friend suggested I contact you. I am just curious what it is. Even it its just a satellite that would be cool. I just like taking pictures of the stars. But, things like this strike my curiosity. We were traveling East on Hwy 70 around the 100 to 106 Mile Marker. We were in the passing lane, when the craft came across both lanes (from the North) at a very very low altitude (Just above the tree line). We all look and our first thought was a Drone, as we own one, but then quickly realized the size was too large for a drone. It was triangle in shape with three lights, one at each corner that was the color of white and blue. The craft climbed altitude quickly in a southward direction. We were able to see the craft for several minutes. I immediately downloaded a flight tracker app and opened, but no crafts matched the location and path. I also checked the stats for take offs at the closest airport in Booneville, MO, but on airplanes were reported at that facility for the date and time.

I initally saw one very bright light that looked like a very bright satellite. My girlfriend then said," look, there's a 2nd one flying with it. And then we saw a 3rd light. The three lights were flying in,a large triangle formation in a Northern direction. The sorthernmost light was much brighter than the other two, bit then quickly the front light became the brightest. After about 30 seconds the lead light shot across the sky. It looked just like a dim shooting star. The other two lights quickly faded away. I have no explation as to what earthly objects or craft/crafts would be capable of what we witnessed.

My wife and I had our neighbors over for dinner. It was about 9:30 or 10:00. When my neighbor saw this thing just appear. It was a black triangle the moon was coming up so you could see the outline on the sky. It had a grid of lights across the bottom, larger ones on the edges. They were flashing and changing all colors. It moved north to south over the top of the houses in my back yard. Much bigger than an airplane. It moved steadily and silently across the sky at a good rate of speed. We watched it just slowly fad out and disappear at a steady speed. Their was three of us that witnessed it and it lasted about 15 seconds.

My wife and I observed a single black triangular aircraft, with no lights and absolutely no sound traveling in a straight line from the NE to the SW. We were outside talking and relaxing in the back yard, admiring the stars and the full moon. There was not a cloud in the sky. At first, when I saw the aircraft, I assumed it was a very large turkey vulture gliding in the sky. Then I realized it was night time, and how quickly the aircraft was traveling in a straight line. We were able to watch the triangular aircraft travel through about half the sky. I noticed the aircraft from the tree clearing behind us to the North/Northeast to over the roof of the house about 30 feet away towards the Southwest. We can't say if the object was 200 feet above us or 10,000 feet. We waited and expected to hear exhaust within a several seconds of it passing but we were surprised that we heard nothing. I can estimate that the aircraft's angular diameter at about about 3 degrees. I am an amateur astrophotographer in my spare time, and I have never seen such an object like this before. I always have an explanation for what is in the sky, but this was very different. My wife takes very little interest in astronomy but she seemed pretty shocked at what she saw.

A little after 5am, I witnessed a silent black triangle fly across the sky over my house. The sky was very clear and I noticed a bright light in the western sky that at first I thought was a star but it seemed too big and bright and yellowish instead of white. It did not seem to be moving at first but then I noticed it was moving and coming in my direction (eastward). It had 2 rows of semi-large bright lights in the center, 8 of them I believe (these were the ones that made me think it was a bright star at first). It had smaller red lights on the corners and a row of similar size white lights along the back edge. The smaller lights were blinking randomly. The object appeared to be about the size of a commercial airplane and moving at a similar speed, but had no wings and there was no sound at all.
