Le mardi 24 septembre 2013 entre 22h ou 23h deux personnes constatent dans le ciel les évolutions rapides d'un phénomène lumineux. D'autres observations du même type seront faites ultérieurement depuis le hameau. A chaque fois aucun bruit particulier n'est entendu et les observations dureront une heure ou plus. La description du phénomène lumineux par le témoin, et la confirmation de l'observation par les gendarmes, orientent sans aucun doute vers l'hypothèse du faisceau d'un projecteur venant du sol. Bien qu'il n'y ait pas de discothèque dans la direction de l'observation, les gendarmes informent que la zone montagneuse et très peu peuplée est souvent l'occasion de fêtes informelles (raves). La photo prise par témoin, qui contient un cercle clair ne montre en fait rien du phénomène observé : ce cercle clair en haut de l'image est une "orbe" provoquée par le flash de l'appareil photo sur une poussière très proche de l'objectif. Voir : Les taches claires circulaires ou orbes. Le GEIPAN classe ce cas "B" : observation probable d'animation lumineuse. Le GEIPAN n'a pas fait les recherches pour trouver la source du projecteur, recherche extrêmement difficile du fait que ces installations sont provisoires et souvent clandestines.
