Dans la nuit du 2 avril 2004, plusieurs témoins observent un point lumineux à l'Ouest, très brillant parmi des étoiles. Sur les lieux les gendarmes constatent que le point est situé à environ 30° de l'horizon et qu'il semble se déplacer très lentement. L'enquête de gendarmerie démontrera que le point observé est Vénus vue parmi un amas d'étoiles "les Pléiades" souvent confondues avec la Petite Ourse. Ce phénomène est rare et se produit tous les huit ans. Le cas est classé A : observations de Vénus. [GEIPAN classification A — Vénus]
