White semi-cross shaped object in daytime speed was slower than a plane. It gave me plenty of time to watch it until it became cloud covered. It flew higher than the hawks that frequent our view line but was definitely not as high as a plane. Then shortly after, my son, my husband and I were watching at the same time, when a dark oval shaped object followed in the same line as the white object, at the same height and speed.

Was driving on I-16, approximately 14 miles from the exit for Statesboro, GA, when I noted an unusual light pattern on what appeared to be an aircraft approximately 1-1.5 km ahead. There was a pair of bright lights approximately 250 meters from the ground, with the left light remaining constant and the right light blinking on and off at an interval of 6 seconds. The pair of lights appeared to maintain its position. My best estimate for the size of the formation or object was 20 meters in length, and 10 meters in width. As i drove under the formation or object I noted 6 extremely bright lights. The lights were in a cross formation, with 4 lights comprising the central column of the cross, with two lights on the left and right of the central column. The lights appeared to be, at my best estimate, 2-3 meters In diameter. I found the absence of “shafts” of lights curious given how bright these lights were. I attempted to pull off in order to photograph the object or formation, but by the time I had safely done so, the object had made a turn at a right angle relative to its last observed position and was increasing speed. By the time I had my camera up, it had left my field of view. I think it relevant to note that I served 4 years as an Imagery Analyst (MOS:35G) for the U.S army, I have not seen any equipment that resembles what I observed, nor does the behavior of the lights match any Military SOP I am familiar with. We have amended above the year of the sighting. PD

My husband and I were in our backyard watching Fourth of July fireworks. All of a sudden, we noticed an oddly behaving object in the sky. At first we both thought it was a firework. However the object began moving in an erratic and bizarre fashion. When we noticed the object it was to the right of our home and was approximately 400 to 500 feet above us in the sky. At first the object was moving slowly in a static diagonal pattern across the sky over our home. Then, without warning, the object immediately gained height in an instant and moved at a right angle in a way that we know current aircraft technology is incapable of accomplishing. My husband grew up with two parents that were in the US Air Force and is very educated on aircraft and aircraft technology and there was no doubt about what we were seeing. Even though I don't possess nearly the same knowledge, I immediately understood that no aircraft in our current technological arsenal could ever achieve the speed, the immediate and sudden altitude shifts, and the sharp turns exhibited by the craft we observed that evening. The object we witnessed glowed bright orange with a central mass that appeared to be a glowing orange cross. Bright orange radial spokes surrounded the central "cross," almost like the rays in a child's drawing of the sun. We estimate that the object was around 50 feet in diameter. We were particularly stunned over the fact that the object was silent. Aircraft fly over our home multiple times each day- in fact, the community neighboring ours is one that is geared for small aircraft pilots- all of the homes have small hangers on the property and there's a runway down the center of the community. Needless to say, we are very, very accustomed to passing aircraft and the associated noise. The object we witnessed was all the more unusual for its soundless flight. I'm a 33 year-old Psychologist, my husband is a 36 year-old Accountant (formerly with the IRS), and neither of us has ever experienced something so eerie and uncanny.

It was so cloudy tonight that no stars could be seen and the moon was hard to find as well. Yet, there were two orange colored crosses/diamonds in the sky. They weren't there yesterday. The larger one is on bottom and there was a smaller one diagonal from it (northwest), almost at a perfect 45 degree angle. While watching them we noticed the top star began to dim and fade. The bottom one did the same. A minute passed by and the bottom one slowly began to brighten like a light on a dimmer switch. Then the top one followed. We took a picture with a digital camera. After 30 minutes they disappeared completely. Venus and Jupiter?? PD

This is actually something I saw around this time last year. That time I got a clear view of it because I had dropped someone at the airport when it was dark outside and that area is very dark and there was no traffic as it was nearing dawn. It reminded me of when you drive and the moon seems to be chasing you. It was very bright and looked like a cross. As much as I rubbed my eyes and expected it to be like a circle, it never changed. I was not sure if it was some kind of a message or what. This appeared to be the same thing, but farther away from where I was standing. It looked like a star shape but longer at the bottom, or a cross but was farther away. Much more defined shape then when you see a star. I thought it might be a satellite but it was not moving and there were a couple. One closer or larger and the other smaller but they belonged together, you could tell. I stopped a few people in the parking lot and asked what they thought and they were very serious about it and said my thoughts and that they were just sitting there and what are they. I drove off and looked over and then there was a third one. I know this is the same thing I saw last year. My neighborhood is wooded and I lost the view once I returned home. I did not get any photographs. I will if I see it again.

I saw an object, way to big to be a star! It stays still but will change position. I haven't seen it in the move. It goes up and down, last night it was over to the South. Over the last week I have seen 3 at one time. Also ,what looks like a plane with flashing red lights will fly up to them! What could this be? We suspect a "twinkling" star. PD

I have been living in Beacon for about 4 months now and have never seen anything fly that low. I couldn't make out the shape of the aircraft but the lights were in a cross shape, red and white light and some were blinking. I stopped in the middle of the road and the aircraft was hover to my 11'oclock about 200 feet above me, then I turned into the side street and pulled a u turn to get a better look and the aircraft was flying off in the east very fast and disappeared out of my sight.

Just stepped out for a smoke and saw what looks like cross shaped object with red, white, blue, green lights. The lights are flashing and there doesn't appear to be any pattern to the flashing, if that makes sense. The object appears to be a couple miles high above lake Washington. It's not making any sound and it's not moving at all. I tried to get a picture of it but the camera on my phone sucks. Really weird that it's not moving. Not making a sound.

Seen at night when skies are clear. I saw about 7 drones hovering over ATLANTA skies. The building that I'm in is tall which makes it easier to view. They are everywhere with red, white and green blinking lights. They will hover in a group and then spread out. Very BIG BROTHER..... We suspect that the report is not a sincere one. Probably a hoax. It was about 10:30 on a cold clear night. Me and my cousin we returning home from a vaction and only ten minutes away from home witnessed a large strange object traveling above across the interstate. I noticed it first when and it appeared to be the shape of a triangle. Then as we moved along it appeared more cross like. Really tried to focus on the object and wish I would have just stoped because we wanted to identify the object. It was not our luck as well because it was flying so low that after I first noticed it, trees in the intersection we also obscuring our view. It was a very strange flying object like none I've seen before. As stated before it seemed difficult to actually determine the shape. The size of the shape was enormous for such a low flying object and was covered with about ten or more white balls of light. I have never seen as many lights on a plane before so at first I thought it might be some sort of miltary plane that I have never witnessed before, but I do not understand why they would want to be so lit up. We could see the enormous object through the tops of the trees but it never rize above for a clear enough view. None of the lights seemed to blink like any other normal plane and almost seemed extra bright white and glowing light. The object also seemed to be moving extremely slow for such a large low flying aircraft. After the object left sight we continued to search the sky and also stoped off the side of our exit to search the sky again outside of the vehicle. No sight of the once large, lit up object but we had traveled a few miles to arive at out exit. We did however notice unusual amount of plane activity where at first there seemed to be four planes flying close together then separate and seemed to just kind of circle the area. They were very noticeably different from the other flying object but did not seem to be commercial airliners. I by no means am a aircraft specialist, but h! ave never seen a large, low flying aircraft with so many light! s. May be a case of mis-identification but I know there were plenty of other cars and people in the area. I've never reported an incident and only did trying to find anyone who saw the same other object that may have had a different angle and maybe help explain the craft, or possible verify our strange sighting

Hello, I am H (this is an alias) I just turned twenty-one years old, and I live in a small town in Washington, the town of Washougal... It's near Portland, Oregon; maybe twenty or so miles away. Anyhow, I have grown up in a culture of sci-if loving, alien-addicted "extraterrestrial life is out there" exposure and I, myself accept that it's quite likely that we are but one of many civilizations of advanced life in the vast universe. Lately in Washougal, the sky has been pristinely crystal-clear, and a few times, I've tried to remedy my chronic insomnia at night by going outside, in the chilly October air. On October 3, at around 4:14 a.m, I was looking up at the stars when I noticed something unusual, in the southernmost part of the sky. As I focused on it with my eyes, I could see that it was roughly cross-shaped - but instead of being totally straight, the arms of the cross angled downward in an arch, and they emitted a blinding light. During some 'bursts' of light, I looked away, to avoid the bright light. There was a solid, oval-shaped ring around the cross, which would occasionally strobe rapidly with every color in the rainbow... It was an astounding and mind-boggling display. I could not make sense of it, if it truly was an earthly aircraft. I watched this object for well over an hour, and it stayed -hovering- in the same general vicinity... A part of the sky in-between two massive Douglas Firs, which were clearly visible to me, well over two miles away. I suspect -with that point of reference- that the cross-shaped object was about three-to-five miles away... It was hovering unsteadily (it seemed to struggle at times, sinking as though it was losing power; and then darting upwards, unexpectedly - going speeds that could not possibly be achieved with our current technology). It wobbled around unsteadily in the same vicinity for an hour and a half, before it began to gradually ascend up, like a rocket, except without any atmospheric resistance... It just cut right through - the object shot straight up into the sky. It's light-trail was so bright, large liquid-like streaks trailed behind the object, like nothing I'd ever seen before. That's when I noticed that the bright light seemed to move much like a fluid, acting with many properties of water. As the object rose higher and higher up into the atmosphere, it's silhouette very rapidly disappeared... It was gone at this point. When I entered my house, it was 5:52 am, and I held an uneasiness in my stomache. I had always considered ETs to be out there, but experiencing an actual UFO in the sky, so near you... it changed the way I feel about a lot of things. I understand the persistence and perseverance of the UFO community after my experience. I'd like to tell family and friends, but I know that I'll be judged harshly for it. It's awful, how so many ignorant people laugh believers off the stage. At the very least, I'm happy to be able to share my first experience with an identified flying object.

I looked up and seen a clear, illuminated object in the west sky. If was difficult to make out a defined shape of the object but it appeared wider horizontally that vertically. The object seemed to have a strange illumination that gave a cross kind of shape. It was sunny and clear so it was difficult to tell how much of the illumination was caused by the Sun's reflection, but it appeared to reflect the Sun differently than normal metal would. The object was stationary and than made a few sharp 90 degree movements at a speed that would be impossible for any none technology to replicate. It then seemed to have a rapid elevation again unlike any none aircraft could, which made its visibility more like a bright dot. A couple of seconds later it disappeared from sight. We all seen the same thing, and all agreed we had just witnessed a UFO sighting.

Friday morning the sun was just beginning to come up; there very few clouds and the sky was just beginning to turn blue. There were no other stars visible anymore so it caught my eye that there was a very large, very bright star off to the Southwest in the sky. Except when I looked closer at it, it was flickering incredibly fast between mostly white, but also blue and red. The lights flickered for the duration of the event. It then occurred to me that the shape was not regular for a star and rather than a dot, it was a long cross-like shape. At first it appeared stationary, but then I found a place to view it where I could set it against a stationary object in the foreground, and observed it was actually moving. It listed to the left, or right, sort of randomly and moved slightly downwards several times. Movement seemed random, just sort of listlessly floating around, and then it started rising up. As it rose, it became slightly more dim and moved up very, very slowly, appearing as if it were moving away from the earth at a very acute angle of ascent. We live near an airport, so I see and hear planes coming and going all the time, and this did not appear to be a plane. The flashing lights were reminiscent of a police siren, and it was far too far away and/or small to be a plane. I observed it with binoculars, but could see no increased details. Eventually, after twenty to thirty minutes of slowly moving away and up it became too faint to view and by then the sun was up enough that we lost sight of it. It continued moving in a Southwesterly direction for the duration of the event in an area of the sky that lies south of the airport I am near. Flatmate claimed to hear sounds, but I did not hear anything, and other aircrafts were regularly flying overhead, into and out of the airport to the east.

09/02/2014 UFO sighting? or strange aircraft Saw a bright light at high altitude moving north west, about heading 350-355 degrees. The object was very high, and at first I thought it was a satellite. When the object appeared at 80 degrees to my viewing angle, I'm 5'11 1/2", facing about 5-7 degrees compass heading. As soon as I saw the bright light, it went out; that confusing me for a satellite. I noticed what appeared to be possibly a very faint small green light and very small faint red light very close together, perpendicular to a line heading in the direction of 350-355 degrees. Very faint, very close together. The strange thing was, NO sound, No contrail, and the light I saw appeared twice as large as the object, as referenced to the closeness of the red and green lights. It moved SE to NW across the sky in about 7 seconds before I could no longer see any light of the object. Sky clear, unlimited visibility. Just saying. Ex-USAF(Capt-Navigator), Ex USAR(major) logistics, armour, and Operations Analyst, age 64. This is only the second time in my life that I have seen something I could NOT identify. Thank you

At 9:15 I noticed an unusual light, apparently at very low altitude (my guess is between 500 and 2000 ft.). It appeared to be red, almost flame-like, moving very slowly from south to north. As it moved it seemed to slow to a hover, as it was almost overhead, then resume its leisurely motion. After it passed overhead, it slowly began to curve to the northwest. All of this took 1-2 min. and the object kept the same appearance. Then, maybe 30 seconds later, the whole spectacle repeated itself. A second slow moving red light followed the same path as the first one. By the way, the original light was still visible, still heading very slowly to the northwest. I do not recall if this second light did any hovering as it came overhead. It did the same turn to the northwest as did the first object. Then to conclude the event, about 30 sec. after the second light made its northwest turn, a third light identical to the first two came again from the south, following the same path and speed as the first two. This one, like the first light, appeared to slow and hover for a few seconds as it came overhead. Then it resumed its slow pace, turning to the northwest as the others had. Their speed was so slow that I could clearly see all three heading single file to the northwest. The sky was clear and dark with no moon, but several stars were visible to the west.

Small anchor like shape hovering and zooming over the Columbus area. Many bright colors such as, purple, blue, green, red. It shot up into the sky then went back and forth around the sky then slowly hovered down behind trees. After some time it zoomed out to the left then back behind the trees. At this time, another witness shows up and the colorful object slowly raises. Then disappears behind the trees. The whole time this flying object is changing colors and hovering. Possible model airplane or quad-copter?? PD
