I’d like to start by apologizing beforehand for any grammar mistakes, as English is not my native language (I’m Greek). During our stay at my father in law’s vacation house in a village in central Greece (Euboea island), I took an interest in night photography (Milky way, constellations etc.) with out newly bought Sony A-5000 large sensor camera. To my wife’s request, I went to the other side of the house, with a beautiful view at the Aegean sea and the islands of Skiathos and Skopelos and took some night photos of the lights at the port of Skiathos. The first 2 photos I took seemingly had a strong lens diffraction, at least it seemed this way from a glance at the 3 inch screen. So I continued taking night photos of the lights of Skiathos. When I got really bored and looked at the sky thinking “maybe a couple more photos of the milky way before sleep,” I saw over my head for about 3 seconds a black disk flying with no sound and going south, towards the village of St. Anna. When I started feeling my legs again, I remembered the 2 first “bad”photos and reviewed them again using the zoom rocket. I don’t really know what these lights are, but they kept appearing each night and I kept photographing them. As I am not a UFO or an X-files fan, I shrugged my shoulders and my life continued with nights out for dinner, walks, playing cards with friends, that is to say I didn’t spend much time sitting in the balcony and shooting in the dark until morning. But every night I devoted half to one hour to this strange occurrence. Unfortunately as today (August 29) we had to leave and return to Athens, last night was the last photos I took, but I’m pretty sure the lights will continue as we speak. And since Internet access was limited in the village and we didn’t have a pc, we could only do this here in Athens. I send to you by email 5 photos (including the first 2 I mention above), but I have over a hundred, most of them the same (i was shooting with the '3 images continuously' mode) and some not really impressive. Some of them are a bit out of focus or maybe a little shaken, most of them were taken with the camera sitting on the top of the wall balcony of the house and trying to lift the view by wedging under the camera the neck hanging cord or the lens protector etc. I would also like to mention that the lights were not visible by the eye, every image was taken with a 10 seconds shutter speed or more, so as you can understand, I was shooting at nothing, hoping that the lights would appear on the screen. I also experimented by taking a couple of images with a 2.5 seconds shutter speed and the lights got really dark. I have also taken some of the last images using RAW together with jpeg, in a hope to prove that the photos are not manipulated in any way. Unidentified Flying Object report witnessed Thursday August 21 @ approx 10:30pm Hamilton, Ontario. Area: Where Upper James and the Lincoln Alexander highway intersect. ((name deleted)) I live in Hamilton Ontario on the mountain. In the area where Upper James and the Lincoln Alexander highway intersect. I was on my deck looking towards the south. There is a large tree to the right of my backyard (southwest). From behind the tree about 1 1/2 km away, about 1 km above the ground the object first came into my line of vision. It moved at the speed of a slow moving plane, or helicopter going from south west to south east. This was no plane or helicopter though. It was disc shaped and its color was orange/red. It was difficult to make out its exact shape because there was some kind of vapour effect that surrounded it. Kind of looked like it was on fire. But no flames were visible. It just had this bright orangy red glow with a fiery mist that trailed behind it and surrounded it. At first I thought it must have been a meteor. But meteors don’t move that slow. The object continued at the same speed and headed southwest. But as it was getting further and more of its back was facing me, its appearance changed. The orange red colour seemed to fade off and there appeared to be this umbrella-like white-ish swirling vortex that seemed to be coming from the front of the object. Perhaps this vortex was creating its orange red appearance? It continued on its way until I could no longer see it. The whole event lasted only a few minutes. I do not know what it was I saw. Let me be clear though. I was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol. I have always been a believer of UFO’s, aliens etc., and have spend 2 decades studying the phenomena. I have met at least 4 people in my life who are first eye witnesses to UFO encounters. I always dreamed of having my own experience. But let me tell you, now that it has happened, my reaction is not what I thought it would be. I am deeply bothered by it. I am trying to be as rational as possible as to what I witnessed. My description is as accurate as I can make it. I would like some kind of rational explaination. Is it some kind of military vehicle? I don’t know.

1 noticeably dark black craft hovering just above tree lines, still hovering as I write this! Noticed 3 lights come on then go off.. It was very cloudy out this morning, but the craft was very noticeable.

I was outside smoking holding my cat, looked up, there was a round object in the sky. Blue lights on the bottom and the lights appeared to be rotating. A white light emanated from the craft in a spray around the object. It was just hovering above Copley Square in Boston MA. It stayed there long enough for me to go outside again and take a photo, though it was too distant and too dark for my camera to catch. All it looks like on the photo is a pulsing star but this was no star and no stars have circulating blue lights on the outside on the bottom that go in sequence. Clearly this was some other kind of craft. One if many I have seen this summer in Boston MA. Though the others were spheres and multicolored.

I just saw one bright blue disc (almost neon) fly across the sky from my apartment parking lot. I didn’t see it until it was right over me and it took about 2 seconds to soar across until it was out of my view. This seems like a very far distance for an aircraft to travel so incredibly fast. If I had blinked, I think I might have missed it. It was about the size of a quarter (seemed quite large for being so far away) and it was FAST and absolutely SILENT. The sky was pitch black. It was such a bright glowing blue that it lit up the sky directly around it. I didn’t hear anything. I have “goosebumps” because of how eerie, silent, and fast it was. At 10:50 pm, I stepped out side my house to throw garbage out in trash can, and decided to pick grapes on my fence in front of my house. I turned around and looked up to the sky towards my neighbor's home looking for the big moon that was present this past week. It was somewhat cloudy, but I noticed between my home and my neighbor's house 4 disc-shape objects hovering fairly low, as they appeared large, unlike stars. All were whitish/very pale tinted bluish in color and the 4 disc were traveling in a circular motion and all the disc were evenly spaced. They were not who is very much into UFO sightings and emailed him and them called channel 12 news to see the same. The man at the station took my information and number and said someone will call me. I asked traveling any way and just circulate. I walked to the middle of our homes to view it better and I was trying to figure out if it were spot lights of some sort from a local park or something else but after approx 3-4 minutes the whole formation began to move slowly towards the back of mine and my neighbor's home between our houses, at which time I ran into my home to get my camera and iphone and ran back out to the front of my home and it was gone. I proceeded to run toward the back of my house in the back yard to see if I could see anything but nothing was noted. I then checked a bit on line to see if any sightings were reported on long island but found someone him did anyone else call he said no. I then wanted to check the internet for the same reason and came across your website and called you where you directed me to write what I saw and send it to you.

Suddenly, my eyes pictured a small white line floating across the sky. Within a blink, there was another similar silverline a short distance away but at the same level, floating across the sky. Initially, I thought this could be a contail of a fighter jet. But It did not change its appearance and did not vanish through the clouds. I checked with Google maps and we were in Emporia, Kansas, at that time. Location came up on google as 38.393, -96.254 at 9:19:28 pm Eastern time. I zoomed at the picture to have a close inspection, and it appeared to be a disk shaped small silver line object floating with a dome flattened on the sides. I wondered, was it a celestial body?

A flashing red light with a simultaneous white light, and was saucer shaped (a circular figure with a football shape through the center. Could also be described as a round diamond or much like Saturn with the rings, except a solid red flashing light.) I was looking at the stars at night when a blinking like distracted me. At first, I thought it was a plane, but upon closer inspection, the shape, colors, behavior and strangeness determine a UFO. The round object looked about 2 to 3 times bigger than a plane. It moved incredibly slow and hovered, and would slowly zig zag up and down and then would sit stil and move quickly along. The flying object traveled from the south of Allentown to the west. When trees were blocking the UFO, I ran to the front of my house and no longer saw it. After about five minutes, the UFO reappeared from my left (West) and traveled to my far right (North) within minutes before disappearing. The stars in the sky appeared to have a reddish "twinkle," and the night sky looked active with distant faint flashes of light surrounding individual stars (I swear I'm mentally sound…) But the one-second flashes almost seemed to be charging the UFO before taking off. Similar to lighting or electricity touching an object, each star was encompassed or surrounded by these static flashes of "light-energy." I took video but my iPhone couldn't focus in the dark. Last night, my 3 friends and I were on the roof in Manhattan. We had a few bottles of wine, so we were a little warm, but not incoherent. It was bright out because of the supermoon, so we had a clear view. My friend, who pointed in the air, then told us to look. 3 of the 4 of us saw what looked like a thick blackish-gray disc, hovering in the air a few hundred feet out. It was not a plane, because we had seen many moving around that night. I thought it was a balloon floating up but my friend and I stood up and approached the edge of the rooftop to get a better view and I quickly ruled that out. What I personally saw was something that looked large enough to not be a balloon, and it was definitely oscillating. It made no sound, but I did not expect it to at our distance. I rationalized at first it was a balloon floating from the light into the atmosphere and thus disappearing, but something was off about that idea. However, as I approached it went from a darker color to gray, and then disappeared almost as if backing away. We all 3 were very creeped out and thought it was a drone or definitely a UFO. Still thinking about it, but it moved so quickly away once I approached it, I couldn’t really process things. Anyway, definitely saw a UFO last night and first time I have ever posted something like this.

The UFO looked silver and disk shaped. It had lights on the top that appeared to be red in color. And white lights on the side. When I came out of my house, I saw a slow moving object to the north of my house and then it took a westerly turn and was gone. I also saw a small plane that came from the south. Although there was only one craft observed, it really scared me. The craft made a soft, but high-pitched, chirp as it moved. And it is unknown if this craft landed or not.

Flying saucer directly above neighbors' tree.. Beams of light coming from the center of the disk.. White red and green lights all around the edges of the object. It was almost like I was spotted because as I was watching this faint light it came down and hovered. Then, as it lifted, it lifted one side of the craft higher than the other after swaying back and forth... It was at a very low altitude maybe .. I think it came about 300 ft a above me.. I have always seen ships my whole life, but this was an extremely close encounter. When the saucer came down, it was very slowly go from side to side from east to west almost rocking the vessel... When it got down as close as it did, the vessel seemed to tilt upward so I could see the entire underbelly of the ship.. This was a very real experience I have been scared all night..

mr. davenport i would only like to reflect on my report of aug.19,@2100hrs.the two formations of three aircraft three minutes apart, and three single craft that followed also@ three minutes, all had a bright orange leading light, and all flew directly overhead. the height was approx. 2000ft, no engine noise,and a very definite view from the orange light reflection of a large disc on each of the aircraft. i only regret not hving a camera, but to be sure , it was a very vivid and actual sighting.the direction was northeasterly and well in radar scope of pgh.international airport,however,my inquiry negative opinions.

The object was seen at noon time in the sky. It was a very shiny silver in color. It looked to be 1/2 the circumference of the sun. The object was moving north as we were traveling on W. Bush Blvd. The object was with the horizon of the clouds flying low yet most of the craft was in the clouds as it traveled. I only saw one side of the object which was flat, disc shape and a dolphin like nose. It was traveling at a high speed and stayed within the clouds. I only saw it for maybe 15 seconds then it was gone into the clouds. This object was so shiny and silver like it had just been polished. My grandson also saw it and he was the first to notice. I e-mailed the Tampa Tribune requesting an answer if any person had reported the sighting.

Strange, hovering object floating just above a nearby field. It hovered in one spot for a while. It had red and white blinking lights down the center of it. After 10 minutes, it slowly hovered over nearby trees and then continued hovering away from sight. It made a strange humming noise, like a muffled helicopter noise, but it definitely did not appear to be anything I have ever seen on this earth before.

In sky near Bush Gardens traveling east to west We were eon Bush Blvd off 275. It was very shinny and silver. To me it had pointed nose, flat body flying low to clouds. Grandson saw shiny, silver, flat disc flying low to clouds. It was about noon or before. We both saw it at same time shouting! This was in Tampa FL.

Saw a craft that was moving in a direction that almost seemed like it was searching. It was flashing red, green, blue and white. At times it seemed to be wobbling and was at first moving west. This was about 11:30 pm and then it traveled south over Oregon City, OR. About 10 minutes later it was headed north. It made no sound but continued north until it was out of sight.

It should be noted that her street is near a major shopping center, but her street is secluded with trees and wooded area surrounding the road. There are street lights along the road but quite spaced out and are often out/dim. There was a car approximately 500 yards behind me traveling the same direction. As we approached her driveway, which is on the left, we both observed a UFO with white lights blinking around the rim of the object. They blinked on and off rotating around similar to the light movement of the arcade game that you have to hit the stop button as it passes the 10 in front of your spot. The lights were very visible and the craft was just above the trees and about 20 yards in front of us. The object was moving right to left passing over the road/trees. As it went over the street we arrived to her driveway which we quickly jumped out to attempt a second sighting of it, however it was gone. She does live within about 10 miles from a small airport, however the craft did not have any green or red lights the the circling white pattern. It should be noted that we couldn't see the full outline of the object due to the trees and darkness, however we could clearly see the edge shape due to the lights circling it. I would estimate the size of the object to be approximately 75 to 200 feet wide. My girlfriend is afraid of the idea so she automatically said it was a plane, however there was a plane flying high up in the sky that was clearly a plane with the red, green, and white light. She accepted the fact that we saw what we saw, a UFO. It should also be noted that for as low as it was there should have been a distinct sound, especially if it were a plane, however we heard none. My truck is not the quietest in the world especially since I also had the radio on, however there should've been a distinct sound for as low as it was. This was the first time I had ever experienced seeing something of this nature, but I am so glad that I have my own proof enabling me to personally know without question that they are out there. My wife and I were sitting on our balcony, eighth floor of our apartment building, watching a storm approaching, and took out our 8X40 binoculars to watch the lightening in the distance, and the hawks and other birds soaring over Canatara Park (which is right across from our apartment building). Our balcony faces due East; and our coordinates are N 43.00184 X W -82.40941. We then noticed a couple of birds flying much higher in elevation than we normally see - there were storm cells developing in the area to the South of us, so likely some updrafts for them to ride. Suddenly, Lynn noticed, over the lake (Huron), a small object (once again, with her naked eye) and attempted to find it with the binoculars. She did, and it appeared to her as a hat shaped object with rounded corners, but just barely discernible - perhaps only a millimeter or two in size if held at arm’s length. This object was pretty much due NE (45 degrees true North) from our position, and approximately 40 degrees up from the horizon. She handed the binoculars to me (I could not find nor see the object with my naked eye) and instructed me to follow a certain cloud pattern upwards to find the object. I did, and watched it for several minutes, until my arms got tired. It did not move at all, appearing to hover motionless in the sky above the lake below. Not knowing the size of the object, I have no idea how far away it was, though we both had the idea that it was a great distance away. Being so small, we could not detect colors, and it did not have any lights on it that we could see. We took turns watching it through the binoculars, but eventually the cloud cover (shifting from south-to-north) obscured our vision and we lost sight of it after about 30 minutes.

I was over a friend's house yesterday. We were drinking a little and just having a good time at his place in west Suffield CT. When we both stepped outside for whatever reason at the time and saw what appeared to be a great orb of light at first. It was apparent that this was not an airplane because it was not moving. It just remained still for about 30 sec then suddenly started to jump in random spots in about a .5 mile radius from its original spot. Then as crazy as it sounds I could actually make out the shape of the craft. Classic old sci-fi movie flying saucer is what it appeared to look like with a system of lights around the circular edge. What really freaked me out is when I looked even closer and could make out what appeared to be what some call a (touchdown). But the beam of light coming from the bottom of the craft wasn't light at all. It blended in with the sky and I could only see the edge of it. When suddenly the beam of whatever it was disappeared and the crafts lights flashes starting with one bulb and went around the saucer ending with a single red flash from a bulb. That red flash was the last I saw from the craft as it quickly disappeared into the sky. I don't know what that thing was but I am just curious if me and my friend are the only ones who saw this craft that night. At the time the witness telephoned our Hotline, we questioned whether the call was a serious one. We could detect sounds in the background, which suggested to us that the call might be yet another of the many prank calls our Center receives, on a regular basis. If we are wrong in our assessment of the call, we apologize to the witness, but we had reason to believe that the call was not serious-minded. PD

While looking for meteor shower in Makaha Valley, saw bright round light flying over Makaha Beach, faster then a plane, but slower then a falling star or meteor. It flew over the valley, then zig-zagged up and out of sight towards Kaena Point.
