September 17, 2015 · 7:35 PM · FIREBALL

Washington, PA

Western sky. Sunset. Five lights that moved in downward direction. They had short "tails" but no contrails. They disappeared after five minutes. One twinkled as if it was burning. We wonder whether the objects might have been airliners in the western sky, which were reflecting the setting sun. PD

Sapulpa, OK

Approx 10pm, heading towards the south, a large bright orange object with numerous orange pieces falling off object and towards earth. Passed almost directly over Tulsa, headed southerly direction over Sapulpa. Just before disappearing behind tree line, object just blinked out. Duration: approx 3-4 seconds, with no noise evident.

September 14, 2015 · 11:00 PM · FIREBALL

Prior Lake, MN

Looked out my bay window to see a bright red orange almost fushia type hue ball of light. It was glowing and way too big to be a lantern and wasn't flickering as you would see a lantern. It moved at a steady pace from south to north then tailed downward below the tree line as I lost visual. It also appeared much closer due to the size diameter of the glow. I don't know what it was but pretty cool to see such a thing in the sky.

September 13, 2015 · 9:00 PM · FIREBALL

Clifton Park, NY

I was standing out on my driveway at approx 9pm on Sept. 13 when I witnessed an orange light (almost looked like a fireball) moving slowly across the sky. I yelled to get my brother who also seen it. As he ran in to get my parents another orange light followed closely behind in the same direction. Both objects were slow moving and almost pulsing getting brighter then dimmer. I would compare them to a meteor but no tail and moving much to slow. We continued to watch for approx 2 min. until they just disappeared. I attempted to video, but my hands were shaking and i couldn't get my phone to record. There was an overcast so these objects were below the cloud cover so they weren't to far up. These were very bright and no sound we could here. By far the strangest thing I have ever seen.

September 12, 2015 · 10:00 PM · FIREBALL

Cedar Springs, MI

Driving north on US 131, approximately one mile south of the Cedar Springs exit. A bright round light appeared in the sky, as bright as a headlight. About the size of a quarter in our perspective. It appeared and then shot a short distance, leaving a tale then disappeared. We assume a nighttime sighting, and have amended the time above. PD

September 10, 2015 · 5:00 PM · FIREBALL

Santa Maria, CA

Tonight 9-10-15, my daughter asked what are those orange lights. While driving to the store. When I looked were she was pointing I noticed three orange fireballs/orbs. Made a U-turn back home. Upon arriving at home, I ran inside to inform my mother. That is when she went outside. We watched the three orbs continue what was appeared to be a continuous elevation in the western horizon untill they disappeared in the same spot one after the other. I saw an object fall from the sky, wrapped in blue fire, and with and orange fire trail behind it. It flashes orange light reflecting in the clouds surrounding it and was then gone. Soon after, I have spotted three different aircraft, assuming military, flying low and around where it crashed. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

September 9, 2015 · 8:35 PM · FIREBALL

Bright glowing slow moving orange light, moved slowly and brightly hovering high above our heads. No noise was heard. Watched as it seemed to fade or perhaps move onwards and upwards away. One object only viewed from southwest Edmonton. My husband and I are 42 and 40 and our neighbour is probably late 20's. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. I went out on my balcony to smoke a ciggarette and as i did, i glanced at the clear sky and looked around when i noticed a bright red orb that seemed about 300 feet in the air from where i was. It flickered brightly for a few seconds then stoped then proceded to do the same onnce more. It stayed hovering their until a cried out for my brother and sister to come and see it to make sure i was not hallucinating, after they came out and i pointed them to it it starded moving slowly thorse the tree line not pulsating, just moving slowly until it desapeared in the tree line.

September 6, 2015 · 9:30 PM · FIREBALL

Campbell, CA

On the night of September 6th, 2015, I witnessed an object I couldn't explain. As I was watching a show on my phone whilst laying on my patio furniture, I saw a small orb of light out of the corner of my eye. It grew to the size of an eraser on the end of an eraser, relative to my vision of course. There was considerable distance between myself and the object, probably around the same altitude an airplane reaches during the middle of their flight. The object did not move, it merely hovered and pulsated. When I finally focused om the object, it swelled to its full orb-like appearance, then slowly receded into nothingness. I searched the sky for the next 5 minutes, waiting for it to reappear, to show me that it was just a plane light, but it mever did. The object was the shape of an orb, or possibly a fireball. I found myself describing it like an explosion contained by a very strong, yet clear glass. It was a burnt orange color with a white core, as far as I could tell. It produced no discernible sound, no engines, motors, rotors, anything. Just the light. The sky was clear, no cloud coverage or much smog. I could see the stars, which is why seeing this orb confused me so much. This occured above a suburban apartment complex near a main thoroughfare.
