It was night time, and I was going for a casual walk at the Huacheng Square walkway near the IFC building and also near the Guangzhou opera house and the presently constructing Luk Fuk building. I decided to take a quick rest at the Mall of the World, which was underneath the Huacheng Square walkway. Shortly after my rest I decided to go back outside into the warm, humid Guangzhou heat. I then made my way over to the end of the walkway and the end of the square, which was near the Guangzhou Asian Games Stadium and the Canton Tower, as well as near the side of the Pearl River. As soon as I arrived near the end of the square, I noticed that there were lots of people. It was very crowded that night, and I realized that it was the first day of Mid-Autumn Festival (aka Moon Cake Festival). There were many street vendors and lots of people with their friends and family eating food, as well as taking pictures of the wonderfully lit ornaments and the quickly changing colorful lights of both the Canton Tower and the IFC (Four Seasons) building. I decided to walk ahead closer to near the river side, but the way there was blocked by barrier, as there was a large ornamental display bearing the shape of a traditional Chinese junk ship (without sails), and a led or neon-lit sign the posted Chinese characters, translated as Happy Mid-Autumn Festival and welcoming of happiness or such (since I’ve studied Chinese for four semesters in China before). Next, I made my way over to the barrier closest to the river, but was also near other people taking pictures. I was gazing around the buildings and the night sky. Occasionally I would see an airplane or two from the far distance to the East and the South of the Canton Tower, with ordinary flashing beacons and navigation lights. Once more, I then gazed across over to the north to see the wonderfully lit IFC building, as well as the construction of the Luk Fuk building. I then turned around to face the river side once more, but something caught the attention of the corner of my left eye. I then turned left towards the east to see a far away red light (brightness similar to an aircraft). It must’ve been at least half a mile out on the horizon, as far as I could see. The amber-red light appearing distant at first, then gradually brighter as it was making its way over towards me (heading west-ward). The night sky was clear, but there were some low-lying clouds and slight fog or mist closer to the ground and river. It was a also a little breezy near ground level. Gazing towards the red light, I thought at first it was just an ordinary aircraft, and thought that maybe the fog or possible city pollution caused the aircraft’s lights to appear redder instead of a typical incandescent yellow-white. But as the red light drew nearer, I realized it maintained a constant color, and it was coming at a slight decline angle. Then as it drew even nearer to me, it quickly disappeared into the nearby low-lying clouds. Curious, I still kept my eyes open for any other activity. To my surprise the red light came out of the clouds and continued westward, and finally made its way over the festival square. As it passed over me (about a 75-85 degree angle above my head to the north of me), I noticed an unusual shape. Although it was dark, I was able to make out a round, almost oval-like shape. It was neither perfectly circle nor perfectly oval. To my eye, it appeared to be roughly between the size of an aspirin pill and a penny (or a Chinese wu jiao coin). The color appeared to be a grayish, slightly white-blue color, and there was a slight reflection on the object from the surrounding city lights. As it passed over me, I noticed that the object made no sound (no motor or engine noise), from what I can recall, except for a faint ‘cutting through the wind’. Gauging the craft’s distance up above the ground, the object must’ve been at least 500-600 feet above the ground, but no more than 1000 feet, I reckoned. It was about as high as the lowest flying domestic aircraft flying over the city, but a bit lower. As it continued over me (over the festival square), it quickly fluttered some violet, blue, blue-green, red-pink, and a bit of green lights. Sort of like temporary beacons or special kind of navigation signals, I suspected. It must’ve done this signaling at least twice or thrice, but very rapidly, in a glimmering, sequential and reverse-sequential fashion. By the time I realized that this was no “ordinary” object or “craft”, I decided to pull out my Smartphone to take a pictures. By the time I got my phone camera ready, the object then sped up quickly towards the west, towards the direction of the Guangzhou Opera House and past other buildings in that direction (i.e. the Baoli Center Building), then quickly ascended and faded away. A bit curious, I still had my phone out of my pocket. Some people (two couples, and a small group of two to three people) nearest to me noticed me attempting to take pictures of something in the sky, but they must’ve thought nothing of it at first. About two to three minutes later, I notice the exact same amber-red light (as the object had when entering from the east), but this time appearing to the southwest of the Canton Tower. It must’ve been several hundred feet above the large high-rise apartments directly on the other side of the Pearl River. It was hovering for at least half a minute, then slowly ascended, paused and hovered for a few more seconds, then gradually continued westward and “disappeared”. By this time I had already taken a few snapshots from my phone. About a less than a minute later, I notice the exact same amber-red light near and above a large building the west of the Guangzhou Opera house. It was hovering for at least half a minute, then ascended slowly again, but this time, the amber-red light began to pulsate (almost undulating). It must’ve done this for a few seconds at a time, within one to two minutes max, then ascended higher, and gradually disappeared. At this time, I had already had taken a few more snapshots from my phone, and there were at least three to five other people that pointed to the object, and took some snapshots, but they appeared to not be surprised, but rather amused (as if it was nothing very special). Unfortunately, my phone’s camera resolution and quality wasn’t the best, the object appeared dimmer in the pictures than in real life. About a few seconds later, the amber-red light appeared again near the direction I last seen it (toward the west of the Guangzhou Opera house and neighboring buildings). About a few minutes more it hovered and ascended gradually on and off, occasionally with a pulsation, then it slowly made its way southward towards the Pearl River, and disappeared again. During this time I had taking more pictures of it. I had also noticed that another couple near me had pointed to the object discretely, and took a quick snapshot from their Smartphone, showing some interest. I did not bother to ask them as I was afraid I would ‘sound’ or ‘look’ like a fool. About another minute later, I noticed the same amber-red light, but this time, further in the east, even further east of the Liede Avenue Bridge. It was a little higher in the sky, and was more distant, and was less visible because of the low lying clouds and fog. It must’ve hovered in place for a least another one to two minutes, then disappeared again for another few minutes. I was able to take a picture of this period of time. As you will see in the related photograph, one can barely notice it with the naked eye, but if one was to open the photo, one can zoom-in closely and notice the slight color in the midst of the clouds. Shortly after that period of time, it again appeared to the slight southwest of the Canton Tower and towards the high rise apartments directly across the Pearl River. At 13:00 09.07.15 Sunday, I looked up into the southern sky off of my patio and saw am apparent falling object in the sky with two smoke trails coming from behind it. I took several photos of the unknown object and then video taped the object I witnessed seemingly falling from the sky. The duration of the event was about 25 seconds at most. The object appeared to be dark in color and smoking as though on fire and was as bright as the moon during the day on a full moon. There was no sound at all during this sighting. As my vide linked here below demonstrates, the object fell behind trees and did not appear to break apart - it did appear very large and as though it was an oval mass without distinction in shape or form. I have never seen a thing like this. My wife and I were sitting outside and saw a orange circle come from the west flying low. We watched it for about 10 seconds and then it disappeared as fast as it appeared. This is not the first time we have seen this. Two years ago we saw one come towards our house and hoover for about 30 seconds and it disappeared. Later that summer we saw three come from the west again.

A group of friends and I were standing outside having a conversation, when we saw what appeared to 3 airplanes with red and white lights blinking on bottom. We observed these air crafts for approximately 30 to 45 minutes, moving from south east to south west and west to east repeatedly and extremtly high rates of speed and made high speed 90 degree turns. At times the craft appeared to hover in the sky and one seemed drop something in to the ground. These flying object did not fly in any certain formation but would spread out and cover large areas of the sky and then regroup. One witness has been in the military for 5 years and said he had never seen any military aircraft that matched the outline or flight pattern of these aircrafts.

Please feel free to call me. My original report - Silver ball in lightning storm. Hello, I witnessed something last night I cannot explain. I got home around 6:30 and decided to take a load off and chill on my deck. I wear prosthetic legs and those things really rub me raw sometimes. So I tossed them on the bed and quickly made my way to the deck to enjoy a beverage. I was sitting there relaxing when a storm began rolling in from the west. I figured I had few minutes before I had to drag myself back into the house, so I watched the clouds forming and lightning flashing in the distance, amazing stuff! As the storm was about a mile off, I noticed a shiny object in the clouds, lit up by lightening. I thought it was a jet liner trying to get to CLT before it got diverted. Boy was I wrong! The more I watched the more I realized it was not a plane. It would seemingly tele-port from one area to the next in and out of the storm, and then far away. Needless to say I was stunned, and I totally lost track of the time and the storm. Within minutes the storm was right on top of my house, and so was the silver object, which I can now see was a huge ball! I watched, helplessly as it danced in and out of the clouds seemingly feeding off the lighting. I was terrified more of the object than of being struck by lighting. I've watched enough shows on cable to know what happens next. I could feel all the hairs on my arms and stumps standing up! But I wasn't sure if it was from the object or the storm! The thing was no farther than 300 ft from the top of my house at one point! It appeared to be about 100 feet in diameter and changed colors rapidly. Unbelievable! Of course this is the one time I left the phone on the kitchen table... That is the last thing I remember doing last night after I saw that damn thing! I woke up today a bit disoriented, and sore. Any help or explanation from you guys would really set my mind at ease. We wonder whether this report is an attempt to hoax us. Even though though the report appears to be carefully prepared, the witness does not provide an e-address, and the telephone number is not his…it belongs to someone else. We have a summer house overlooking North bay beach in Ingonish, Nova Scotia. I was in my sunroom – windows on 3 sides – lights out – reading my Ipad. I noticed a light in my peripheral vision – at first I thought someone had turned on one of the lights behind me and that it was reflecting off my Ipad. I looked up at the trees [very tall spruce trees] on my left and saw a bright light coming down and towards my house. The object stopped in front of my sunroom window – at this point I was standing and looking at it and it was hovering directly in front of me for probably what I would think would be a good part of a minute. It was probably about 15 – 20 feet away from me hovering over my lawn. The object was an ellipse shaped brightly glowing yellow object – it had something that looked like a red glowing wick shaped filament in the centre–the closest that I can compare it to would be a candle wick. The object had 2 triangular propellers or ‘wings’ – one on each side – smaller than the main object and with the wider part of the triangle attached to the main object – the triangle tapered off to a point. I could see the propellers moving – the closest description of the movement would be that of a hummingbird. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing - if I had thought about it, I would have taken a photo with my Ipad. I ran out of my bedroom and into the living room to tell my daughter and my husband to go outside. We all rushed out to the deck and as we did so the object turned around and flew at a 60 degree trajectory over the water into the night sky. We watched it until all we saw was a red dot and then it disappeared. The next day I looked up drones on the computer – none had the shape that I had seen. I thought that perhaps this was someone’s ‘toy’ but that wouldn’t explain why it hovered in front of my house then took off at a fast speed until it disappeared over the ocean … you would think that someone would want to have their drone toy back. If this was a toy it would be a very expensive one. There were people on the beach that night so maybe there is someone else who saw it. I can provide a drawing. It was not over the beach and not over water - I didn't make that clear when I re-read my letter to you. No one else has come forward but I'm sure that there were other people who would have seen it. My friend and I were sitting in the backyard of the house we live in enjoying a fire in the chiminea. It was dark, but we were watching the sky, as we usually did, and were enjoying the fact that we could see the clouds, even though it was dark. I first noticed something move out of the corner of my eye. I told my friend to look as it was something moving and it was very noticeable. We both watched the object move across the sky, over the house, and then directly toward a neighboring house. The object was oval in shape, resembling a balloon. It was glowing from the inside out and moving at a consistent, steady pace. It wasn't efected whatsoever by the wind... It was as though it was on a precise course. I actually thought it was a balloon... But because of the glowing factor, the time of night (darkness) and the consistent pace it kept, we both realized it couldn't possibly be a balloon. The night was quiet except for the cracling of the fire. We both stood there watching the object move until it was out of site. It appeared to go over and past the neighbors house. We kept our eyes on the sky, but we didn't see anything else.

At roughly 20:55 on Thursday night, my wife and I were lying in bed with the windows open. We both heard an odd sound in our normally quiet high altitude pine forest neighborhood. It sounded like people chanting, but quite eerie. Then we heard what sounded like gun shots. We have coyotes and bears in the neighborhood, and so I questioned if our neighbor was scaring some animals off, but these noises were definitely not the typical animal sounds we have heard in the past. So, I went out to see if I could see anything. I walked out the back porch without turning on the light. I couldn’t hear anything. I was facing Northeast. I saw multiple blue lights (orbs?) above me in the sky. The sky was cloud-free and not much of a wind. There was no moon light out. We live away from much light pollution. These blue lights were moving smoothly, quickly and intertwining. I though initially someone had shot off a firework or flare, but the sound was quiet. The lights moved directionally, then I noticed they straightened out and shot up toward above the back peak and toward the Reno area. The blue lights then seem to make themselves look like stars. During this time there was a bigger object following slightly behind and amongst them. If I remember correctly it was round or oval. I think it was translucent and had various lights on it. These lights were yellow, red, and blue and seemed to glow. Again no sound was heard. I don’t remember where it went or if it just disappeared over the pine trees. I could not judge how big it was but I had a feeling it was rather close to the ground and not too big. If it were not for the preceding blue lights I would have thought this to possibly be a big drone, but this was not. The entire sighting lasted at my best guest 5-10 seconds. There was some road construction occurring above our neighborhood on the Hwy 431 and they usually have many lights to help them work, but I could not see their lights. I can truly say I saw something that was unidentified. The closest military base is over 50 miles away Northeast of us in Fallon. I am hoping others post this sighting. The first thing i noticed was a perfict shaped cloud eluminated, than it faded away. Then just to the left of that a disk appeared, it was purple, with some shades of orange and slight yellow on the left side. After about 12 seconds, it disappeared, leaving a round shaped cloud where it was that faded away. Seconds later much further up in the sky i saw two, what apeard to be shooting stars with tails go in the south east direction away from the rising sun. I yelled for my dad to come look and we both watched the craft. It then started going directly West at one point and as it got over what I assume to be the I-94, it flickered on and off a couple of times then went dark for good. I used a different date when filing this report as my keyboard won't let me enter eights or fours. There was NO sound from the craft. One last note, my dogs were barking like crazy but I'm not sure if that was from the craft or because I yelled for my dad to come look. We have amended the date above. PD

A strange light moved from north east to south east. The light was first blue but as it moved away it suddenly changed to red and then vanished. On seeing from binoculars it looked like the object had a darker part in the centre while its was emitting light from the outer part.

I was outside doing yard work with my boyfriend. I looked up and watched this strange black oval in the sky. It hovered for about one minute in the exact same spot. A jet went passed this black oval, and within seconds the black oval darted off in the direction of the jet.

I saw a low flying oval shape with a strong tail containing smoke and a light blue fire with an orange hue around it. It appeared to slow down over the downtown buildings and then completely disappeared. I was at an outside restaurant and several witnesses can attest.

I always put my dogs out at 11:00 and each time I go outside I'm always looking up in the sky to see if I can see a UFO. I am very interested in it and I always wanted to see something and I know I finally did. My husband was with me who isn't really interested in it, but he noticed it at the same time I did. We saw 1 object, very bright reddish/orange, oval shape. It was hovering back & forth then down and finally went up and disappeared. On August 23, 2014, at approximately 9 pm in Washington, PA, my neighbor and I were walking our dogs. Coming from the East and heading west over the sky we saw multiple bright orange lights in the sky. They were quite a distance apart from one another but traveled in a mostly straight formation. They did not make any sound. They traveled rather slowly across the sky. They did not blink but were just a solid orange. This must of taken about 15-20 minutes. First we saw 6, then 4, then 8, they were in groups. It was a very cloudy night so they did disappear behind clouds but sometimes it looked like they just disappeared without going behind clouds. Bright red/orange fuzzy object remained stationary and with constant illumination in the Eastern sky 30 - 40 degrees above the horizon for about 10 minutes, then moved off to the NE with the glow oscillating in intensity with a period of about 3 sec. During the stationary phase when first sighted, it was 3-5 times the size of Venus.

My wife, son and myself were watching t.v. just inside the open sliding doors to our condo on Cherry Grove Beach, S.C., when a bright (kind of fuzzy) orange light took our attention away from the t.v. It appeared to be within a mile of the shoreline (very hard to know for sure without anything in the sky to reference it to. The light seemed to have 2 or 3 smaller oval lights inside of it. Once it got our attention, it lasted for about 30 seconds and then faded out, only to come back on about 5 seconds later to last another 5-10 seconds before fading out again. Continued to watch for it for another 45 minutes, but never seen it again. There were a few clouds in the sky at the time which led to it appearing slightly fuzzy. There was heat lighting several miles to the North of it, several miles out in the ocean. It was strange that we weren't looking for anything outside and it caught our peripheral vision. Monday, August 18 in Arvada, CO, (near Standley Lake) – mysterious lights moving back/forth and up/down between 10:00 pm and 10:30 pm. Sitting on my back patio I noticed a blue/red/white lights moving erratically due north, about 20 degrees above the horizon (near the base of the Big Dipper). The lights moved in a fashion similar to somebody pointing a laser pointing at a wall and moving it around erratically. However, these lights were much bigger and were blue/white/red, depending on which way the lights were moving. From my back porch, I sit about even with the treeline. I could see a blinking light moving up/down and back/forth up out of the treeline, and above/down into the treeline. The lights would do this for about 30 seconds, then stop for about 5 minutes , then start again. The happened for about 30 minutes. At about 10:15, I also noticed, what looked like, a shooting star heading in the general direction of the moving lights. I thought it was a shooting star, until I realized there was some cloud cover in that direction, so the “shooting star” had to be in front of the cloud cover (which I thought was strange) At about 10:30 pm, I got in my car and drove about a mile north to get a better view, overlooking Standley Lake. However, by this time the lights had disappeared. The sighting was in the general direction of Rocky Mountain Airport.

This was not the ISS, as far as my knowledge goes, as the station was supposed to pass over my area at around 23:30, two hours after I saw the UFO. Object moved with a mild "wobble" to its path, like it was zigzagging slightly. This could have been an optical illusion, but the object itself was very much so real.
