I saw strange lights in the sky at Yokohama city in Japan. 3 lights stayed hovering then they changed their formation and number of lights (0-7). No sound made. Witness submits approximately 15 photos to NUFORC. The photos show different numbers of lights, at different times, during the sighting. PD

Staten Island, NY

Driving in New Dorp in Staten Island, observed several single red/orange lights, low flying, no sound towards the ocean, and 3 flying together in trianglular formation. Saw about 3 sets of triangle formation. They seemed to "float" almost reminded me of Chinese lantern. Took video which I will attach to an email.

I was going on break at work, and like normal went to my car, and looked up to my left (east) in the sky at the stars as i like to, but also saw 3 redish dots/balls in the sky at different heights, the left being the lowest, the right being the next highest and the middle being the highest, but they were far enough apart to tell they were not a single aircraft,and the thought crossed my mind that they were too dim and close to all be towers,also ahead of me (south) in the distance i could see the red blinking light of a tower as comparison.as i walked to my car keeping my eyes on them i said to a passing co-worker "what are those lights" "i don't know",she replied uninterested. So i continued to my car(walking slowly the entire time to keep my eyes on the lights) but in the short time it took to look down to step off the curb the one on the left disappeared. then as i walked and refused to look away again i bumped into another co-worker and pointed them out to her, but she continued inside seemingly uninterested also. So as i look on the one on the right and the center one were climbing "straight" up ,from my view,and the one on the right disappeared and finally the one in the center climbed the highest and disappeared.they didn't flicker or anything,they were very well defined constant lights.i looked on the way in and after work but didnt see them again sadly.

My wife, a friend and myself we're traveling down E 501. We saw four lights forming a horizontal line across the sky. They were evenly spaced and seemed to be stationary as they begun flashing vigorously and then went out one by one from right to left. White light

Was driving from manassas to woodbridge via prince william parkway within a minute of turning on parkway i seen 6 red orbs..they were together moving in the strangest way..they were also turning orange..many cars pulled over on side of the road.. i took a two minute pitstop to pick my girlfriend up to see it. But tuere were only four..they flew around for another two minutes and just dissapleared..we also seen a helicopter circling the area during and after Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. 2 Objects Witnessed in sky. Flames coming from the bottom. Appeared that embers were dropping from the flames at one point. The flames stopped and the objects just glowed and floated around in the same area and slowly flew away.

Bright objects larger and brighter than any planet or star in the sky at that time flying in a stretched out pattern, sometime 2 or 3 together, sometimes single objects. All came from the north west sky from low on the horizon, traveling at the same speed and disappeared from view directly overhead. When viewed from binoculars objects were red in color and appeared to be not steady but shakey as if they might be spinning. Notably, there was no noise over the several minutes we observed the phenomenom.

We saw two bright orange lights at first. Same brightness but some distance from each other over the Eastern side of Maricopa as we drove down John Wayne Parkway. Then a third orange light appeared in between the other two. It slowly faded from nothing into a bright light just like the other two were. A few minutes later, the light on the far left faded out and disappeared. As we got into town, the two that remained got closer together and seemed so close they may be touching. Then they faded into darkness as well. The entire event lasted about 20-25 minutes. One thing to note, there was a spotlight display happening at the same time from in front of the grocery store in the middle of town, we could see it from a few miles out of town. We didn't get pictures because we were driving, and didn't think about it until it was too late.

I'm a 45 year old college graduate. My job is a server admin at a local utility. I'm also familiar with many types of aircraft and the flight paths around my area. I considered myself to be educated and use good logic. In the past I've seen things in the sky that at first I could not explain, however on further thought I am able to determine what I had seen in logical terms. This is the first time I could not come to a logical reason for what I saw. I just finished up being an aide in my son’s Religious Education class at Church and was walking to my automobile. Out of my left eye, I caught an orange light in the sky to the North. I then turned to look at it and noticed several more objects in trail, not flying in any sort of formation. I then looked to the Northwest in the direction of Luke Air Force Base and saw several others appearing from that direction. After viewing in Church parking lots for several minutes and taking two pictures, my son and I drove about a half mile north. The objects were almost directly over us at this point, and appeared to be a round flat light. I took another picture. As I was viewing them the lights appeared to go straight up and disappear into a thin cloud. We drive about 1,100 feet east from the point to get a better view. One last object appeared from same direction as others; however this one appeared to be larger than others. This last object disappeared straight up before I could u! nlock my phone to take a picture. This was not in any flight pattern I’ve seen in the 12 years living in this area. And I could look behind and above me to see the normal pattern of planes flying in/out of Sky Harbor and through its air space. At first I thought they might have been military helicopters. However I’ve seen flights of helicopters out of the Arizona National Guard base before and they tend to fly in formation and lower. Also each object had only one light with no visible tail rotor light. Further I ruled out hot air balloons because the lights were two small for that (the entire balloon usually lights up at night). Next thought was that I was seeing afterburners on jets out of Luke AFB. But this did not fit either. Flights out of the AFB are usually around four to six jets, and flying in some sort of formation. Also with 30 plus fighter jets in afterburners, the noise would have been horrendous. These objects made no observable sounds. Also if these were jets, they would have been moving much quicker in horizontal flight. My final thought was they could be Chinese lanterns. However since they flew nearly level for quite some time and then went vertical, this would rule them out. Balloons with some sort of light attached to them. Further given the proximity to Luke AFB and Glendale Airport, I find it hard to believe that a group would get permission for such a launch.

I live on the waterfront and look out at Maury Island. Tonight I notice a line of very bright lights along what is a roadway on the east side of Maury. I thought they were unusually bright so I grabbed my binoculars. As I looked at them I couldn't figure out how they could have become so much brighter than ever before. I then noticed above them in the sky hovering what might have been only a couple hundred feet was a configuration of 6 dimly lit orbs in a diamond configuration. At this point my binoculars started to fog up and in the time that I took them away to wipe them clean and looked back everything was gone. The familiar dimly lit roadway lights were again visible and the diamond shape configuration of 6 orbs was gone too.

Military training site, NM

Three of us were on ECP guard duty, our shift was from 1600-2330. Around approx 2100 we saw one light appear then another then one more. In a line formation like this . . . They were white with a red tint. The three of us were in a gun truck. One guy up on the gun, one passenger and I was in the drivers seat. I tried getting a picture but it just wouldn't take very good. Unlike my two buddy's used NVG's (night vision goggles) just a regular picture did no justice. So I got out to get a better view for a picture and no more than 20 seconds they all vanished. They never moved not once. Aircraft flew right through our line of sight and they were just there. East of our position. While west of us a artillery company was training as well and shot up multiple flares, we used to compare like most military explanations! "These were not flares"! And the best part is south of our guard station is our CP where our CO & 1st sgt witnessed them as well. From a slightly different angle. Word got out and my CO asked for me to come by asking me what I saw, so I told him and that's when he said they say the same lights. Where we were, there is a lot of missile testing. I believe our presence and the artillery going off drew these ufos attention.

Meansville, GA

Saw 4/5 red lights and one white/yellowish light in front flying in formation (guess it could have been just one ship but huge)over pine mountain between Thomsaton and Meansville Georgia. They did not change shape and kept in one direction. heading northwest from Thomaston. I though it was one ship, my wife thought it may have been more than one flying in formation. If it was one ship it was a mile long at least. It was far from us however we had a good view. I wish I could have gotten video of it, but feared it would have been gone by the time I went into the house to get camera.

Night. Clear conditions. A very loud helicopter with red and green running lights following close behind 2 very dark shapes about 200 feet off the ground. The dark shapes looked so black as to be holes in the sky. My guess is the 2 dark shapes were a type of stealth helicopter, which would explain how loud the identifiable helicopter seemed to be. The dark shapes could have been the profile of sophisticated military helicopters. Never seen anything like that, though. The blackness of the shapes was unnerving. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and she sounded to us to be quite sober-minded. PD

I wanna say was flashing but like light on an airplane or heli, but when I watched it just disappear right before my eyes, I knew that I just had seen something that wasn't a plane or helicopter. I saw 4-5 lights in a straight line hovering over the 101 freeway in Scottsdale. At first I thought it was helicopters, but then I realized there were no flashing lights. Then one by one they went straight up into the sky and disappeared.

Albuquerque (Kirtland AFB), NM

((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) It happened about 7:45pm Friday evening. When walking outside, I looked south towards the southeast. I am guessing the lights were past the airport and had a bright orange/ reddish to them. Not blinking or strobing but a strong glow to them. As all were lit the formation was a "L"-ish figure up high, with a count of thirteen glowing lights individually synced. I called my Friend to hurry come look when they finally saw what I did the upper part was not lit and the lower five that were horizontal were. It lasted for about 15-30 sec. I checked to see if the news or anything was reported the following day and nothing was there I just switched off my phone so I was not able to take a picture but looked up strange lights in the sky on google. There were some similarities to the glowing orange/reddish light in Dallas, Texas. as what the description said. Thank you ((initials deleted)) ((END ADDENDUM))

Mountlake Terrace, WA

Started as a line of 3 lights with a forth appearing to the right. Lights shifted with some increasing in height. At times shape appeared in a V, the a square. Lights quickly disappeared then re-appeared on top and next to each other. I obtained pictures and as a recording. Most of the time there were three large ones with fainter lights then appears with 7 at most. Lights would disappear immediately, most simply hovered, but would elevate and then drop back to the horizon. I was able to get images that included aircraft versus lights and street lights, all clearly very different than the lights in question. Not all lights would show on camera and video. Upon zooming other lights I didn't see by eye did show, I believe these may have been aircraft in the distance approaching the lights. Lights appeared to be toward Seattle area but not directly over the city which is 20 miles south of me.

My husband went to go out for a walk when he noticed red lights in the sky. He then called me outside. I saw four red lights in a triangular formation moving at the same speed. They were silent. Never breaking their triangular shape. I could not see a body of an aircraft since it was dark. Only the red lights. Approx 10 orange orbs of light, slowly moving over the tree line. Three by three triangular formation. I could see usual airplanes in the sky, these were way different. Then they just disappeared.

Grand Blanc, MI

While outside on my deck facing east, I happen to notice two white lights, not blinking, in a staggered formation close to each other for about a minute, until my sight was blocked by roof lines at approx. 8:20 pm. I couldn't tell if there was 2 objects or just one with two lights. It seems it was one object since the lights moved together perfectly. The location was parallel to Fenton Rd. heading south, near Grand Blanc Rd in Mundy Twp., Grand Blanc. At first, I thought it was an airplane, since there are many planes near by due to Bishop Airport about 10 miles away. So, as I am watching this formation it was lower than usual than an airplane would fly in the area, also there wasn't any sound usually associated with an engine. The lights seemed to float. When looking at the lights i noticed that at higher elevations, there was an airplane to the north and two more at higher elevation to the south with blinking red and white lights. What i saw was completely different, it kind of stunned me, left me thinking, what did i just witness? I'll be thinking of this for a long time.

Our family was driving in Southeast Wisconsin when we first sighted what appeared to be 8-14 very short airplane trails as the sun was setting….. as we watched, the “trails” moved but didn’t change shape. The longer we watched the more we saw eventually nearing 20 of them. We watched them move from south to west for about 30 minutes. They were lines of light…some shorter than others. One much longer than the others. There were two or three that were vertical and the rest horizontal. There were 2 adults and 4 kids who all witnessed this at 4:30 in the afternoon.
