I was in town Christmas shopping and was just taking a picture of the Christmas lights, I noticed the blue looking object above and watched. It was there for about five minutes, until it disappeared behind some clouds. Once I got home, I focused more on the unusual looking object and if you look closely you can actual see a proper shape and what looks like blue lights coming out of the side. This image has not been tampered with I give you my word, I’m a firm believer and hate photoshop bs! Let me know what you think! It looked like a triangular shape with bright blue beams. It was too high up to be any lights and definitely isn’t a plane.

Le mardi 11 décembre 2018 un témoin après avoir regardé un film à la TV, écoute de la musique en regardant les étoiles dans le ciel dégagé. A 01h30 il est intrigué par une lumière, puis par trois PAN dont deux sont de forme ovale et blanc et un triangulaire noir. Le passage est rapide et les PAN disparaissent cachés par un immeuble voisin. L'observation a duré entre 30 secondes et une minute. Un seul témoignage sera recueilli. L’analyse du cas (voir le compte rendu d'enquête) n’a pas permis d’envisager d’hypothèse explicative, tout au moins à ce stade, car les propos du témoin sont peu précis. Les dessins des PAN observés ne donnent pas d’indication d’un phénomène particulier connu : l’étrangeté reste forte. Comme pour l’impossibilité de confirmer la présence de nébulosité réelle le jour de l’observation, il convient de rappeler que le témoin s’est contredit à propos de la date de prise de vue des photos d’ambiance, puisqu’il a déclaré dans un premier temps les avoir prises le lendemain de l’observation, puis après le 18 décembre 2018. De plus, et malgré les relances, le témoin n’a pas répondu à plusieurs questions permettant de mieux cerner l’observation, notamment sur les points suivants : - quel film était regardé à la télévision avant l’observation afin de lever toute ambigüité sur la date de l’observation : d’après le témoignage, l’observation a eu lieu durant la nuit du 10 au 11 décembre, mais pourrait également avoir eu lieu durant la nuit du 11 au 12 décembre, puisque le témoin évoque la date du mardi tout en parlant de ce qu’il a fait durant la soirée. Il est d’ailleurs à noter que lors de son premier contact mail avec le GEIPAN, le témoin évoque la date du mardi soir : « j ai vu mardi soir trois ovnis il était 1h30 ». Or, il est à noter que la chaîne W9 a diffusé une soirée consacrée aux OVNI dans le cadre de son émission « Au cœur de l’étrange » le 11 décembre au soir d'après le programme de Toutelatele. Cette diffusion aurait pu influencer le témoin ; - la phrase du témoin «l’étoile du berger était très lumineuse elle a reflété le triangle noir aussi non je ne l’aurai pas vu » est ambiguë : en fait l’étoile du berger (plus vraisemblablement Sirius dans le cas présent), ne peut pas se refléter directement sur le triangle noir étant un astre lointain, mais elle pourrait faciliter sa vision. Interrogé sur ce point pour préciser sa pensée, le témoin n’a jamais répondu. La description du PAN peut évoquer un vol groupé de lanternes volantes, puisque les PAN se suivent à la file. Toutefois, la forme des PAN ainsi que leur trajectoire par rapport au vent ne sont pas du tout cohérentes avec des lanternes volantes. L’observation ayant eu lieu à une fenêtre, l’hypothèse d’un reflet d’appareils électriques peut également être envisagée. Toutefois, on peut noter que le témoin a ouvert la vitre durant l’observation, ce qui parait très incohérent avec l’hypothèse d’un reflet. Il est à noter que le 12 février 2019, le témoin a contacté de nouveau le GEIPAN pour évoquer l’observation de pilotes irlandais qu’il juge identique à la sienne. Il s’agit de l’observation d’un PAN par plusieurs pilotes de ligne dans le ciel irlandais au petit matin du 09 novembre 2018 rapporté entre autre par La Dépêche. Or, cette observation par les pilotes, qui évoque fortement l’observation d’un bolide de par sa rapidité et sa description, présente peu de ressemblance avec ce cas. On ne peut donc pas établir que les deux observations sont similaires. D’étrangeté assez forte, mais de faible consistance (témoin unique, pas de photo, manque de précisions du témoignage), ce cas s’avère être non identifiable par manque de données fiables. Malgré la sincérité apparente du témoin, le cas ne peut pas être étudié plus en détail, car malgré plusieurs relances, des questions portant sur des points de détails de l’observation sont restées sans aucune réponse. De plus, le témoignage présente des imprécisions de date. Aucune hypothèse explicative ne peut donc être privilégiée avec les éléments fournis. Le cas est classé C, cas non explicable par manque de données fiables. [GEIPAN classification C — Manque d'informations fiables]

At around 6:45 pm, Dec. 9th, a black boomerang object with three lights one at each end and one in the middle flew over my head. It was silent and looked to be about 3 times larger then a passenger jet, and was traveling at a very high rate of seed. IT was coming from the West going East. On the Wednesday before at 6:05 pm the same object has in the sky moving very slow until a jet approached then it took of in a blink of an eye heading South.

I was on highway 75 going north bound getting very close to the airport when I saw through the clouds bright lights in the shape of a triangle. The lights flashed 3 times and it appeared to be coming in for a landing. I've never seen a plane like this and I travel this highway often. We got home from eating and my husband stated, “Oh, you just missed a meteor shower.” He then told me to look at these two lights in the sky. There were two bright orange lights that did not flash. The aircraft seemed to be hovering. The lights were south of our house and appeared to be facing north. They didn’t move for quite awhile. There was no sound. The sky was very clear. We could see stars in the sky and they were definitely not stars. Then my husband says, “Wow, look at all the planes in the sky.” At first I didn’t see them, but then I did... there was at least ten planes flying toward this hovering aircraft. Slowly the aircraft turned to its right... so east. At this point there was a third light we could see, probably the rear of the aircraft. And it slowly continued east. Then all of the planes in the sky began to follow it. It seemed to basically disappear shortly after moving

Black object moving around in same area appearing around dark clouds for several minutes. It seemed to be a kite at first and I walked directly underneath it because I thought it was a kite flapping in the wind. When I looked for the strings and a witness it disappeared.

My wife took the dog out into the back yard and seen a bright whitish light in the yard next door, she thought it was a helicopter looking for someone cause of the sound, but it had no blade wash and the trees were still not like from a normal helicopter being that close. As she rounded the corner of the garage to see what it was, she yelled for me to come out. She said it was hovering close to the ground and rose up to above the trees when I got out there. There was a black triangle shaped craft as big as house with lights on each corner that was moving above the trees and It slowly traveled westward and up into the clouds. It was an overcast night with low clouds with a glow of the city lights. We both seen it was no helicopter and was clearly a black triangle with lights on the corners.

sky was clear enough I could see stars and even 2 planes higher in the sky.. I also saw a hawk or owl fly by moments before so I had a good reference point of looking.. I was at a school tossing Frisbee with my dog.. then very faint at first I see this triangle or more like v over head like 200-300 feet in the air.. it almost had no lights or faint lights on the 2 parts of the v at first I was like am I seeing something what is that.. I watched it for a good 20 more seconds pass straigt over the school it was very fast and made no noise.. but my eyes could clearly see this triangle v shapped object zoom over my head again I could see two planes at this time higher in the sky and saw a bird clearly visable .. this object was faint almost like a ghost but was clearly there as I watched it pass over.. I cant explain it was earie feeling.

On 11/26/2018, at approximately 1955hrs, I was traveling eastbound on 19th street just east of Western Ave in the city of San Pedro, CA. In the eastern sky and fairly low to the horizon, I observed two orange orbs of light that appeared to be stationary and were glowing brightly then dimming. The lights were possibly over the area of Long Beach or possibly further towards the east. The lights were horizontally positioned with the right orb glowing brighter. Suddenly a third light appeared then an additional 2 lights, forming a V shape. The last three lights then dimmed and disappeared leaving only two lights that seemed to move further to the east and out of my line of sight. Additionally, while the lights were in the V shape formation, they appeared to have moved clockwise before the three lights disappeared. I am currently employed as a police officer and have flight experience in rotor craft and I am familiar with the various types of aircraft. I observed no anti collision lights and the maneuver of the lights were unlike any aircraft that I have seen. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he seemed to us to be exceptionally sober-minded and capable. We suspect that he is an unusually reliable witness. PD

I am a retired ex-IT professional (15+ years, degreed, ex-ACM member). I was northbound on Illinois I-94 at approx. 5:15pm CT, near the Dundee exit, in/near Wheeling, IL. Traffic was fairly heavy, I kept to the right-hand lane. Initially, a white semi- ahead of me appeared to be having difficulty staying in the lane, drifting onto the shoulder every so often; I remained substantially behind him for a mile or so, eventually he pulled onto the shoulder. [It occurred to me later that perhaps he'd also seen the UFO and was dumbfounded or panicked and might be communicating via CB.] Shortly thereafter, I glanced to my right and observed a triangular craft for several seconds, solid black against the night sky, with very large globular (warning?) lights at the apices, these emitting a fairly bright but dark red glow [Wikipedia: approx. 650? nm], easily seen against the night sky. The form appeared to be equilateral, with no reflective qualities; impossible to gauge its dimensions. I could not discern any sound. My velocity was approx. 55mph; the object appeared almost stationary but seemed to be traveling southbound because of it's orientation, i.e. it was 'pointed' southward, and seemed to be paralleling the highway. I have been attempting to guesstimate its size -- at best I'd say its elevation was 100 to 150 feet and perhaps 100 to 150 feet on a side, but I could be off significantly, there were no reference points. What astonished me most was the size of the globular 'lights', they were quite large, possibly the diameter of a quarter held two feet away, so that the distance between a fore- and aft- light may have been 20-25 such diameters? [conjecture] I lost sight of it after perhaps 10 seconds of travel; I did not have time (and did not think) to attempt photographing it with my cellphone... Recognition was immediate [have been a Coast fan for 20 years and am familiar with Peter's reports of similar craft]. I was astonished at the circumstantial nature of this sighting and uttered a few choice expletives, never having thought I'd actually see one of these. I felt...vindicated in a sense, and quite excited, being a firm believer in such phenomena given the massive evidence available.

UFO encounter happened on a backroad right outside the Lake Charles in the southern region of Calcasieu parish. It occurred at a stop sign in front of a cow field, November 22nd of 2018, at exactly 9:45p.m.. I was heading back to my house from my family’s thanksgiving party and my girlfriend was with me when we were at a stop sign and saw a white orb like light hovering about 25 yards above a tree line in the back of a cow field. We were to notice the white light was being emitted from a dark pyramid/triangular like aircraft and within 10 seconds the white light changed into a burst of green light and with the burst the aircraft vanished. Later that night at my house, I asked my girlfriend what she could remember. She said there was an outline of a triangular shape with light coming from the base, then there was a ball of green light and the figure disappeared. We tried to see if it matched the description of any military aircraft but the research came up em! pty mainly due to the way it hovered and the white and green ball of light.

I have a four-year degree and am working on my Masters degree. I was traveling up I-85 in-between Charlotte and Salisbury, traveling north-east. As I was driving, I was looking periodically into the sky at the numerous airplanes with their flashing lights. Almost 6-8 airplanes were flying and moving in all directions across the sky in different directions. Then as I look up again, I see 2 lights beside each other straight ahead in the sky and at first, I thought they were just stars because they were not moving or flashing, but I could notice they were brighter than any star in the night sky. As I got closer it seemed to be getting bigger and was not really moving but seemed to be hovering, almost as if it was studying the nearby airport. It looked to be roughly 5 miles in the sky right in front of the road. As I moved closer to it in the car, I could see vividly the 2 lights were now 3 in a triangle. They were a yellowish orange light and still at this point, were not flashing like all the other airplanes in the night sky. As I drove almost directly under it, I could tell it wasn’t moving or moving extremely slowly, as I saw the triangle of yellow-orange lights that looked to be about the size of two airplanes given the distance. When we passed underneath it I looked back for a second it looked to be getting smaller and moving higher and away at about a 70 degree angle. I’m not sure what I saw but it was not acting like, nor looked like any of the other half a dozen airplanes in the night sky. The 3 bright yellowish orange lights seemed to take up more than half of the bottom of the craft.

Saw bright white flashes in the sky that made us look- we thought lightning. Then a HUGE triangular shape appeared with big, bright red lights on each corner. This thing took up a big portion of the sky. The lights were so bright that you could clearly make out the shape. We all stared for several seconds. Two of us went to get out cameras for video keeping eyes on the lights. Then the brightest beam of white light came down from the center of the triangle and it was gone. I looked away long enough to hit video on my phone and point me camera out the window and it was gone. No sign of lights anywhere. This thing was not moving across the sky, only hovering. It made no noise. Just appeared and disappeared. After it was gone, the cars GPS that we had our maps loaded on went to black and all our cell phone service was lost. Strangest thing I have ever saw!!!

My husband had picked me up from work like usual. We got out of the car and I looked up at the sky. It was a crystal clear night so I located Pleiades to point it out to husband since he never knows what I’m talking about when I reference Pleiades. I point to the cluster and he’s like “That one?” No, he was looking at the wrong one so he stood against my right shoulder, looking up until he saw where I was pointing. Suddenly, I see a dim triangle formation moving quickly above us from left to right. My eyes were trying to comprehend what I was looking at and I yell excitedly at him, “OMG do you see that?!” He was still looking at Pleiades, but saw it the second it crossed his line of vision. We watched it as it streaked across the sky, then the 3 dim points shot off at 90 degree angles! One went left, two went right! We just turned and looked at each other with our jaws wide open for a second before yelling “wtf did we just see?!"

At 7:59 when my friend and I and my 3 year old daughter were driving from Park City to Dallas, Tx we noticed smoke everywhere. It looked like there was a fire somewhere but we never saw one. Shortly thereafter we noticed two crafts - one large one to the left of us and the second quite a distance away to the right. I have had many experiences with UFO’s so I wasn’t really surprised but my friend was. The strange thing was between around 8:15 and 10:56PM we appeared to have lost time. Neither of us knows what happened but it was like time just started over and it was 10:56 I remember because I looked down when I took the video at the time and I was so confused and so was my friend. I also know because I had taken a photo of my daughter asleep in the back seat at 7:19 PM and it was about 40 min later that we saw the crafts but they were very far away. At 10:56 when we took the first video the one on the left was directly overhead and the ship was huge. We didn’t hear any noises but we could both make out the different parts of the craft above us. We could even see the lights around the perimeter and the pod inside. The one on the right was still far away but it made odd movements and was clearly a triangle. 10:59 was the last video we took and they finally disappeared shortly thereafter.

It was moving very slow like a hover craft..flew over Fox Peak station directly above me.. It was not a plane to low in altitude. It was not not birds. No sounds . Then vehicle flew over house I walked further into my yard n watched it fly a little more then either lights went out or it just disappeared.

In the night sky I seen black silhouette. At first I thought it was a bird but it was too big and as it flew passing above me I could see the "V" shape, and barely any sound at all. I would not of dectcted any sound unless I seen the object. And as a flew above me there is very faint white light in "V" pattern outlining the outer edges of it. Then it flew on and disappeared. And then afterwards a bunch normal helicopters where following it spaced far apart heading in the direction the “ship” travelled.

Le témoin rapporte une observation nocturne de 10 à 15 secondes du passage lent et silencieux au-dessus de Tarbes (65) d'un PAN sombre triangulaire avec 5 lumières disposées en V de faible intensité. Le témoin déclare le 23 septembre 2019, une observation faite le 06 novembre 2018 à 23h19 (soit plus d’un an après). Elle s’appuie sur un récit qu’elle a écrit auparavant. Le témoin a également déposé son témoignage sur un site internet (ni le récit, ni l'enregistrement du témoignage sur le site internet ne sont datés). Une incertitude demeure quant à la date de l’observation. Le témoin indiquait un ciel clair permettant d'observer les étoiles, ce que ne corrobore pas la vérification météo du jour de l'observation, à savoir, un ciel bien couvert de 6/8 octas (voir le compte rendu d’enquête). Un seul témoignage étant recueilli, aucun rapprochement avec un autre témoignage n’a donc pu être fait. Cependant, bien qu’il n’y ait qu’un témoin, la consistance du cas est plutôt bonne puisque le témoignage est assez complet. Une hypothèse est privilégiée, celle d'une méprise avec des oiseaux éclairés par des lampadaires. La forme du PAN et son déplacement apparent peu rapide évoquent fortement une méprise avec des oiseaux, en particulier migrateurs. L'étrangeté de l’observation résidait dans la description de la forme (« C'était un triangle noir, pas très grand, avec 5 lumières disposaient de sorte à créer un V., les lumières étaient assez faibles mais il se distinguait clairement une forme solide. Il est passé au-dessus de moi, sans un bruit. Questionnaire témoin.»). Un groupe d’oiseaux, volant ensemble, peut parfaitement donner l’illusion d’un objet unique composé de plusieurs points lumineux. De plus, la forme en V est classique de ce type de formation et l’étrangeté apparente diminue fortement en regard de l’hypothèse ornithologique. Il est d’ailleurs à noter que les points sont flous et peu lumineux, ce qui est cohérent avec des oiseaux dont le plumage reflète l’éclairage urbain de l’agglomération de Tarbes (65). L’hypothèse d’une méprise avec des oiseaux migrateurs est renforcée par le fait que l’observation ait eu lieu début novembre, c’est-à-dire en pleine période de migration, dans une zone dans laquelle de nombreux couloirs de migration sont recensés. De nombreuses espèces d’oiseaux migrent à cette période de l’année, notamment les grues et les oies cendrées. L’absence de bruit reste cohérente avec l’hypothèse des oiseaux. Il est à rappeler que le ciel était couvert avec un plafond nuageux situé à 2880 m, c’est-à-dire 2500 m environ au-dessus du sol par rapport à la ville de Tarbes (65). Ce qui détermine que l’altitude du PAN ne pouvait excéder cette limite, ce qui est encore une fois, cohérent avec des oiseaux. Le site migraction.net fournit beaucoup d’informations sur le sujet et constitue une importante base de données observationnelles. Il est à noter que la durée d’observation de 10 à 15 secondes parait courte par rapport à un vol d’oiseaux migrateurs, mais cette durée peut avoir été vraisemblablement sous-estimée par le témoin qui décrit un déplacement apparent assez lent (« il n’allait pas vite »). Au vu de tous ces éléments, le cas est classé B, méprise probable avec des oiseaux. [GEIPAN classification B — Oiseau]

While starwatching with my family in the skies over the Pacific WNW of Oceanside, Oregon, at around 2000 on November 4, I snapped some photos with my phone to test out a new camera app. I reviewed the photos approximately 10 minutes after they were taken and saw that one had captured 3 blue lights in a triangular formation. I immediately returned outside to attempt to see the lights and to recreate the photo, but was unable to reproduce the results or see anything in the sky that could have accounted directly for the three blue lights. I make no assertions about the cause or origin of these lights. Night photography with a smartphone presents many technical difficulties and opportunities for processiong errors and artifacts. I was driving home and felt a strange presence (scarier this time). I looked up into the sky as if expecting it and moments later the "craft" appeared ahead of me in the sky. Three red dots. Really far away this time but definitely not stars. It stayed for a moment and then when I reached a certain point in the road (this always happens) it disappeared. It seems harmless and there was only one this time. I don't know why they are watching or following me. I am not always afraid by them - one time I saw four of them- they follow me down Lincoln Road.
