December 6, 2015 · 7:35 PM · FIREBALL

Linden, VA

Saw 2 orange flickering circles no trails behind it, at a consistent speed. First one traveling west no noise heard. Just as first one was getting out of field of vision, a second one traveling northwest, same speed. There was small aircraft out at the same time to compare to.

December 6, 2015 · 6:34 PM · FIREBALL

Albuquerque, NM

A bright green fireball/slow moving meteor with a long white tail. It was moving relatively slowly (not as fast as other meteors I have seen). The direction was from east to southwest at a low angle on about a 20 degree trajectory relative to the southern horizon. It was low in the sky and south of Albuquerque. It lasted 3 to 7 seconds and disintegrated into yellow, red and white pieces before going over the horizon. It was the largest, slowest, and brightest, "meteor" I have ever seen. And the only green one. Possible meteor?? PD

December 5, 2015 · 9:30 PM · FIREBALL

Seal Beach, CA

While relaxing in the jacuzzi in our backyard, we suddenly looked up and saw 8-10 orange fireball like UFOs that seemed to stop and hover over our area for 5 minutes before heading north from Seal Beach toward Long Beach. It also looked like a couple of the fireballs had fire emanating from them, and they did not make sound.

December 5, 2015 · 3:20 AM · FIREBALL

Beaver Falls, PA

Approx 3:20AM one orange fireball was noted rapidly dropping out of the sky over Beaver Falls area and it completely vanished at approximately 1000-1500 feet. No sound was noted. No tail was noted. I watched it expecting to see an impact but it vanished. I happened to just be letting my dog out at the right time to see it. Whole event about 3 seconds.

December 4, 2015 · 7:30 PM · FIREBALL

Kirkland, WA

Initial witness saw a full 5 seconds of blue and red fireball....second witness saw a second and a half of yellow/white. It appeared to both witnesses as a gigantic shooting star. Much larger than a normal shooting star. Researched on-line and found no other reports . Traveling from east to west, easily 100 times the size of a shooting star. Colors not concurrent to a normal meteorite entry. Cloud cover was an interference but there was a sufficient gap to see the event. The fact that we were even looking in that direction as we were going out to the car and witnessed the event was a million to 1.

December 4, 2015 · 6:45 PM · FIREBALL

Sumner, WA

Friday, December 4, 2015, at about 6:50 PM, I am pulling canvas off of a large Star I am making for Christmas. I walked back toward the house to get open the garage door to continue removing the tarp when I see a brilliant light move from East to West in the distance. It appears to be about 20 degrees above the horizon and covers about 30 degrees of the sky moving almost perfectly horizontally with just a slight curve for gravity. It was only visible for two seconds and it appeared to vanish into a cloud. It was such a bright green color, I thought it was a roman candle until I noticed how far away it was. It had a dimmer orange tail. It made no noise. I estimated it to be the size of a BB if held at arms length, but have no idea how big it really was. Years ago, I saw a boloid or large meteorite camping at Spirit Lake when I was a boy (before the mountain blew). It was green as well but not as brilliant green as this. This also moved faster and seemed closer than something in space or in orbit.

December 4, 2015 · 6:30 PM · FIREBALL

Portland, OR

As we walked north on Milwaukie Avenue, in front of the Aladdin Theatre, a fireball streaked across the sky about 100 feet about the city lights. We had trouble deciding how high up in the sky the ball was and how big it was, but it snuffed out with in our view. Possible meteor? PD

December 3, 2015 · 8:12 PM · FIREBALL

Westminster, MD

I was driving east on route 140 (just leaving Westminster, MD) at 8:12pm EST and I saw a white fireball cross the sky 30 degrees above the horizon on the drivers side of my car. It left a long trail in the dark sky. I was passing the local Starbucks and Taco Bell when I saw it. It was about 30 degrees in the sky, heading away from me. The fire ball streaked across the sky then flamed out. Visually it looked like one half of it burst into flames because it was half a ball of flame and the bottom half looked like someone put a straight edge ruler to it and the bottom half was dark. I couldn't see an object, just the weird effect of a straight edged glowing object flaming out.

December 1, 2015 · 10:00 PM · FIREBALL

New Port Richey, FL

I was returning from a trip to my gym, when I suddenly noticed an orange fireball in the sky. I was travelling north on little rd. As I drove on a second orange fireball came into view travelling behind the other one. I knew these couldn’t planes because of the fireball appearance. At that point I was looking for a place to pull over so I could observe them and take a picture with my Canon camera that travels with me all the time. I finally pulled over into an entrance and stopped. By that time there were now to my left. Very orange in appearance and fiery. I fumbled around with my camera and by then they had moved farther away, making a picture not possible, or at least a good one. I then pulled back out onto Little Rd., and from that vantage point, farther away and still to my left, they were dimmed in color, still orange, but now appearing translucent and glasslike. They were moving at a fairly slow pace, approximately 500 – 700 feet in altitude. I know other people had to see these objects as they were so bright and orange, fireballs, and completely silent.

November 27, 2015 · 10:15 PM · FIREBALL

Imperial Beach, CA

Standing outside under a clear sky and saw a bright orange round shaped object moving across the sky from east to north west. It was not blinking but moved steadily across the sky like at the height and speed of an airplane but was the color of a fireball and completely silent. It went straight in the one direction and then slowly faded and then disappeared altogether. Witness elects to provide no contact information. PD

November 26, 2015 · 11:15 PM · FIREBALL

Mesa, AZ

While walking our dog my wife and I seen this fiery flashing ball like object, just floating in the sky and staped flike ring for abut 3 mins, then disappeared. We were standing in the area of Southern Ave & Stapley Dr in Mesa, AZ & seen the object in the direction NE of there. It looks like someone posted something similar on 11/24/15 @ same time. November 26, 2015 · 9:00 PM · FIREBALL

Laurel, DE

We saw two red orange lights in the sky in font of us as we were driving. I thought them to be planets, as I immediately told my wife. We drove approximately 1-2 miles watching these lights , and after only driving 1-2 miles we had gained on the two objects as they were now nearly directly beside the car. We pulled over to listen to see if they were helicopters. No sound that we could note. The lights we now noticed moving ahead and way from us. As we were driving west we noticed them moving east, but when we stopped we could tell they were indeed moving northwest, and the only reason they appeared to be moving east is because we were traveling 50 mph and gaining on them, as they must not have been far away. When we stopped, we watched them for a couple more minutes as they seemed to get smaller/ dimmer. I believe the were gaining altitude. Then one flickered a little and went out. A few second later my life noticed the other do the same and they were gone.

November 26, 2015 · 7:50 PM · FIREBALL

Bellingham, WA

Was driving along Interstate 5, northbound, when noticed 3 red/orange glowing balls to the west of me. They were in a triangular formation, with two of the balls close together and the third a longer distance away. It appeared to be stationary. They were too big to be stars, and they weren't moving, so I concluded they were not planes. I watched this object for maybe two minutes while trying to drive, then lost view of it behind trees and houses. After I lost track of it, I noticed there were no large red/orange stars visible anywhere, nor did any of the planes in the sky have solid non-blinking lights. Plus, the plane lights were smaller. I don't know what it could have been. But it was in a triangle formation and just sitting there. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

November 26, 2015 · 7:35 PM · FIREBALL

Louisville, KY

A total of 17 orange/red glowing fireballs moving in the same pattern. Each going north, in approx. 60 second intervals, sometimes two at a time, all at a constant speed. They were all moving slowly through the sky, with some flying lower than others.

November 26, 2015 · 6:05 PM · FIREBALL

Meriden, CT

I was sitting on my front step in South Meriden at between 6:00pm and 6:15pm, facing north when I saw a large bright fireball shoot straight down out of the night sky. It looked like it may have landed near Meriden Square or the mountains near there. My first thought was that it was a missle but there was no explosion. The sky was too hazy for me to have seen a meteorite from that distance. It was definitely too large to be a meteorite, and if it was we would have heard or felt it hit the ground. Very alarming!

November 26, 2015 · 5:10 PM · FIREBALL

Quakertown, PA

While driving on Trumbauersville Road, headed west, noticed orange light to my left in sky. Pulled over and then saw several more. Got out of car and watched as objects passed overhead. Silent. Low altitude maybe 1000 ft. Then noticed more objects appearing in horizon and moving fast towards others. In all maybe 30 total. Too many to count. Glowing orange. Bright. Several made unusual turns like a uturn then resumed formation. Maybe 4 or 5 also appeared on horizon to my right and passed over. The ones on the right were appearing from an entirely different area making me reconsider my first thought of Chinese lanterns and missiles.

November 25, 2015 · 10:30 PM · FIREBALL

Salem, OR

I was walking the dog and noticed one reddish orange orb moving at a steady pace, but not fast. At first it appeared to be a plane on fire; however it continued to travel across the sky going northeast to southwest. There were no flashing lights or tail, which may indicate a plane or meteor. As It moved across the sky it appeared as if it were a Chinese lantern but it was too big for that and higher in the sky, yet lower than a jet that was also flying in the area. Because I was walking the dog, and wanted a witness, I started to jog home to alert my wife and son. Before I reached the house it had slowly disappeared. By the time I got to the driveway there were three more following the same path. My son came outside and we observed them as they flew by. They seemed close enough that we should have been able to hear engine noise, but they were completely silent. Each object slowly disappeared into the night sky. It took ~45 seconds to 1 minute for each object to cross the sky from the northeast and disappear while travelling in a southwesterly direction. Witness provides no contact information. PD

November 25, 2015 · 7:55 PM · FIREBALL

Willits, CA

Walked outside to grab wood and looked up to the NNW and saw a slow moving light much like an airliner or satellite but the red ball that it was at that size and altitude would be much larger than any plane. It was visibly bigger than any jet. First thought was jet on fire. I ran 15 feet to a window to get another witness but it had vanished when I returned 10 seconds later and looked for it where it should have been. Please let me no if anyone learns what it was.

November 25, 2015 · 7:11 PM · FIREBALL

Dunes City, OR

For 3 seconds, I saw a big (1/3 size of a full moon) bright green fireball (possibly ball lightning) burning to the ground from left to right at a 10 degree angle from approximately 300 feet elevation just north of the Summerbell Arm of Woahink Lake between Florence and Dunes City, Oregon. It was really beautiful very bright green like it was made out of powerful green laser light and seemed to burn out even drip green "lava" as it burnt out just before or even as it hit the ground. It was NOT a meteor as it was falling much much much too slowly to be a meteor. Google Project Twinkle and Green fireballs and ball lightning. I wasn't able to capture any image, but it was a really excellent big bright green fireball. NOTE: This was so close to Woahink Lake that if it was ball lightning, I suspect the warm temperature of the lake water and the cold air temperature may have intensified the sighting. Also, at first I thought I was seeing a big green firework fizzling out, but there was no report or boom from any huge firework. It was not a firework.

November 23, 2015 · 7:00 PM · FIREBALL

Brooklyn Center, MN

Many saw this and is looked like a meteor. It has a tail as well. Looked like a missile maybe. I did video it as well, but my phone is damaged and its a little fuzzy. Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD
