There was no sound at all. We have never seen anything like it. There was nothing we could observe that would indicate it was a aircraft. No blinking lights. A number of lights in formation were traveling without sound from west to east following Merrimack River as viewed from downtown Lowell. Lights were in triangular formations and moved together. They moved up or vanished as new ones appeared from the west. One descended and never came back up.

My husband walked outside saw them in the sky and came right back inside to ask my opinion, for 15 minutes we watched this line of lights, pulsing and changing from a red orange color to white, they were 5 possibly six, it was hard to tell and we were quite shocked,not knowing what we were looking at. At first we thought its a line of helicopters but they moved much differently, much slower and there was no sound, we live in the county, there are very few lights out here, the sky is dark and out here at this time of night its very quiet so things like planes and helicopters are really loud. They were heading west towards town than seemed to drift to the north east, I saw the middle lights move out of formation just a bit, but my husband said they all did move than go back quickly in line,heading west again. We do not know what that was and could not explain at all what it could be and so I decided to relate this sighting to you. My husband was in the air force ! for 10 years, he had no idea what this was that we saw. The color change I noted was blinking and not the same color at the same time. We tried to get a picture on our phone but failed due to the flash and it being night time. Thank you

Saturday night, August 22nd, 2015, 10:30 pm. I went out on my west facing porch during a TV commercial to look at the setting moon and the stars. Since the commercials were running long, I sat down in a chair and looked up to at the sky toward a bright star or planet that I was facing and the setting moon to my left. I noticed another bright star, (not as bright as the one I was facing) and another one, slightly less bright close to the bright star. I at first thought my eyes were playing tricks on me as the 2 stars seemed to be moving, they were, flying in formation with the one that was less bright trailing and to one side. They were traveling at the same speed traveling south to north, almost directly overhead. They looked like satellites, but I do not believe that satellites travel in tandem or a tight formation. There was no noise, no flashing lights, the objects were in orbit. I watched them till they faded out like satellite do. My sighting lasted less than a minute. Possibly satellites? PD

On this evening, I happened to look out my bedroom window because it was very cloudy and windy outside. It was about 1:45 am and something unusual caught my eye. A string of lights in a line formation in the sky, far enough up that I knew it could not be a helicopter, kite, or lantern. The lights were hovering in a straight line, blinking and that's what made me realize this was not a plane or anything I have ever seen. I am eighteen years old, and most people would not believe me, so I woke up my mother and made her come outside to see what I was seeing and she was in disbelief. It was nothing she has ever seen before, she had no explanation. We watched the lights for 20 minutes. During these 20 minutes, the hovering line of blinking lights would slowly move into a diagonal formation, and when the clouds cleared up and made the formation more visible, you could see one of the lights almost look as if it was spinning. There was also one red light that would a! ppear every now and then. Eventually this formation of lights slowly began moving in a strange pattern up further into the sky. The lights looked as if they moved in slightly different patterns and formations. This is something we both can not explain. Someone else in our city that is known to us, has a video of the same thing we saw, two nights ago, same time. They sent in a report to this website. Is something happening to our small city?

I was on my porch when I noticed red lights that seemed to be rising over the trees in the distance. If 12 o'clock is north they were rising at about 3:15. They just kept floating up into the sky and proceeded to travel east. There were about 20 or more red lights floating up like bubbles in soda. I live on a path route to the airport in town and the first couple looked like they were flying close that is what caught my eye. Then they all seemed to rise and head east. This continued till 10:22pm and a few stragglers all going the same direction. It was very eerie like, almost invasion style, like you see in the movies all at once. Close together. I did not hear any sounds, but this was so unnatural. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) My previous report was a military exercise. I had filed a report the night before but have recently found out that the event was a military exercise of a new type of plane that hovers. They must have a lot of them because there were 16+. I am sorry to take up your time. ((END ADDENDUM)) We are grateful for the report and the follow-up addendum, but we are unaware of any military aircraft that are able to hover motionless for 20 minutes, and do so silently. PD

My girlfriend and I decided to go for a walk around our apartment complex in Edina. As we walked towards the swimming pool, she noticed a strange oval formation in the sky to the southwest (towards Savage, MN). The sky was dark, but not yet dark enough where you couldn't still make out the clouds in the sky. This stood out much more than the background clouds, appearing as a smoky white ring with at least six points of light, relatively evenly spaced around the ring. We looked at it for about five minutes or so, during this time it did appear to move, with the oval becoming "thinner" and then wider, it also appeared to slightly rotate. I was honestly quite awestruck looking at this, getting a feeling that this wasn't normal and didn't strike me as something that would be created by some sort of spotlights or some other ground, based light(s). Interestingly, it just sort of disappeared instead of fading away. A few minutes later I spotted a light from a plane flying high above (I didn't feel it was connected to this phenomenon, this seemed to be a passenger plane), and its light disappeared behind the clouds. My feeling is this ring of lights was cutting through the clouds, as the light was a sort of foggy light. Possible advertising lights from local casino, we wonder?? My girlfriend and I were driving back into town from Cook Road, where we were fishing. We noticed red glowing lights in Z formation in the sky sitting in place, not moving not falling, just stationary and made no sound. They seemed to be a burning kind of light, I use the word burning because they also one by one faded out. The size of the formation was significant. Very noticable to anyone who might look up. They were round balls of burning red light the way a star might look but bigger. I'm 5' 11", 240 lbs, 29 years old white long brown hair with a moustache and goatee. My day to day is working under the table taking care of my daughter, fishing, and playing poker. My girl freind is 25 55 130 lbs medium length brown hair also white. She takes care of her son, works at the hospital, and plays poker and fishes with us, as well.

What really gave it away was that there were so many of them in such a small space. 110% they were not aircraft. They flew together at a same constant pace. They all were glowing white, Amber and red, at times they were very visable, then they'd disappear then alternately reappear. There were 12-14 UFO's in total and they were heading to the east. Two of the groupings flew in a column of three high, some two high. But very close together. Was nothing military and it wasn't the snowbirds!!

We were stargazing and looking for meteors in the early morning hours. We had seen a couple satellites pass over, when suddenly in the distance there were two lights that were very dim, then grew in brightness. They moved like a satellite, as you could tell they were very far away, but they had no blinking lights of any kind. I'm an avid stargazer and have no trouble whatsoever telling the difference between satellites and anything else. They appeared in the north. They were two lights, perfectly in sync, about a thumbs distance apart when you hold your arm out in front of you. They were so synced I began to think it was part of the same object-if so, it would have had to be HUGE. The leading light stayed the same amount of brightness for about 15 seconds, but the second light became VERY bright. Easily the brightest thing in the sky. The other two in my group all stood up to try to get a better view. And the. It was gone. The second light went out completely! , and the first gradually dimmed until it was out of our field of view. It was not an Iridium Flare, and two satellites do not follow that close together in perfect sync in orbit. I've never seen anything like it, and stil can't figure out what it was.

Mother and adult son witnessed 3 orange glowing orbs hovering in night sky over area which is in front of Mt. Hamilton, vincinity of East San Jose area. We were on the top of the East Palo Alto IKEA parking garage, preparing to leave, when I commented on peculiarity of the formation of lights sighted. I am a school teacher, and at first glance, thought the lights may have been planes incoming to one of our 3 major Bay Area airports, however, the lights hovered, did not move in normal gliding pattern of aircraft, and after a minute or so, one orb slowly rose and moved to right above other two orbs. At first they created an isosceles type triangle, then as one orb moved on top, it created a scalene type triangle. After watching for a few minutes one orb faded out and disappeared only to flash back on a few seconds later. The lights were not of constant brightness but glowed brighter and dimmer as they hovered in the slowly changing triangle. We needed to leave on 10! 1 South, so asked mother if she still saw them. she said yes as I was driving. The at that time had moved into a straight line. We stopped for doughnuts at Krispy Kreme @ Mountain View and did not see lights when we stopped. As we got back onto 85 North the lights reappeared over the Saratoga area above the mountain range there. I again determined that they did not appear to be regular aircraft due to the nature of their movement and how they glowed orange with changing intensity of brightness and how they would glow out and come back to light.

On August 08th 2015 at 22:26:18 I was at a wedding and had remembered there was a meteor shower that evening. So I got a chair and sat in the field to watch. A few minutes in I saw a very strange object zip across the sky 3 times back and forth. On the third time it stopped in my view of sight, and then split into 3 objects! The color of the objects was amber, orange. Then the objects continued to move slowly over my area making a triangular pattern and changing there configuration. This happened for a few minutes then they moved out of sight. First I pulled out my camera and captured a Time lapse video/image of the objects as they changed position. Then I proceeded to taking some still images of the objects. In the still images they appear to be white but in the Time Lapse they are orange; not sure why. This was one of the more interesting sightings I have had but not the only one. I have included the images and video with a Google maps (sat image) to give you perspective on were the objects were relative to me on the ground, and my surroundings. Interestingly enough though, to note that there is a large nuclear facility not far from were this sighting happened know as the “West Valley Nuclear Services”. I was driving down Bay street about to approach I-516 on ramp, I saw 5 straight white lights hovering which looked like an aircraft coming in for landing, but there were no runways in that direction and it didn't appear to be moving. It then started to bank like it was turning, but it kept banking doing a complete 180 degrees. I lost it as I approached the on ramp to I-516.

On the evening of Aug.3rd 2015 my husband and I were fishing at Kanopolis Lake, Ellsworth Kansas. At approx. 9:30 pm, we witnessed about 8-10 square, very bright, white lights in the sky, moving upwards, North to South in a stacking formation. When the next light appeared the former disappeared. It moved behind dark clouds (and it was dark out also), so we lost visibility. I could still make out its movement, but only barely. The lights were about a thumb size at an arm’s length, far exceeding the size of a star/ airplane or satellite. Unfortunately, we had forgotten our phone. As soon as we retrned home we called the reporting number and left a message. I called the two local county Sheriff’s dept. and nothing had been reported. After speaking with your group, I also called the local Air Force (as there is a bombing range fairly nearby but is in the opposite direction), and they had nothing out that night. He even joked and said “ Cue spooky music,” when I explained what we had witnessed. We spoke via telephone with the wife, who was a witness to the lights, and she sounded to us to be quite sincere and sober-minded. PD

On Saturday, Aug 1, 2015, @ approx. 11PM, I was closing up my sun room, to get ready to retire for night. I happened to look up through the large glass windows, from a now darkened room, and saw what appeared to be this invasion of bright colored orange/yellow lights in formation, slowly moving across the sky, in a left to right movement. I immediately awoke my son to come and look. I asked him what he thought this was as it did appear frightening to me. I had never seen anything like this before except in the movies. He also said it looked very odd and suspicious. These lights appeared to drift entirely out of sight in about 7 to 10 minutes in complete harmony. They did appear to be triangular shaped, with almost a small tail at the end of each, and all being the exact shape and size.

Unfortunately, I cannot remember the exact date I witnessed the UFO's, but it was July-August 2015 around 10:30-11pm in Independence, KY, close to Mount Zion Rd. I was getting off work and proceeding to my car, when I noticed in the sky that there were 3 red lights in the shape of a triangle. They stayed still it seemed for a minute, or so, but then split up and became out my view. I don't recall hearing any noise or seeing any blinking from the orbs. Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD

Traveling northbound on the 101, I spotted about 8 to10 dim red lights fly slowly overhead in a wide delta formation. The lights were small and spaced far apart traveling in an west to east direction over the US 60 interchange in between Tempe and Mesa, Arizona. The majority of the lights faded from view by the time my vehicle passed underneath, leaving only two lights visible from my vantage point. Very reminiscent of the Phoenix lights back in 1997.

Approximately 20:30 in the evening my wife myself and another couple were outside having a cigarette and noticed three red lights in a triangular formation to the west moving southeast to southwest. After about 20 minutes, they disappeared one at a time in the same position in the sky.
