Around 10:30 p.m. EST, I was out on my back porch swing, when I saw two very large, orange, round, and silent lights coming from the southwest over the toward the northeast. They looked like they belonged to one very large, triangular aircraft at first, flying too low and coming from the wrong direction. But there is a local airport, so I know very well what low-flying planes look and sound like. The lights then started to move west again, farther away from me, and I could see that they were moving separately. Their flight was quite low, and as I watched them move farther away to the west they started to fade and then disappeared altogether. Then, around 10:40 p.m. EST I saw another, singular orange light come from the southwest direction. It flew more slowly than the previous two, but seemed to follow their trajectory. Just as before, as I watched it fly farther west before it faded and then seemed to disappear.

As I sat in my computer room doing research, guns went off I of course ignored them. About three minutes later my mom came running in the house telling me to go outside. My neighbors across the way said there were 30 lights over their house which moved in the direction of NE from Sky Harbor airport, from the location of my house the lights were NW. I am a amateur deep space astrophotographer, so I definitely can identify any normal aircraft or lights in the sky when I see them. By the time I got outside there were 20 lights. I did not want to move for fear I might miss something. I ran to grab my Canon rebel T3i with the telephoto lens. When I went outside my hands and body were so shaky, I guess that is why spare of the moment photographs of UFO's are not clear. My neighbor however got a video. While all this was going on the lights dropped down to ten, still ascending NW. At this point my dog in the house was going crazy. Once the lights got to about 7 or 8 they began to make a triangle formation. It looked like a triangle with one flat side parallel to the ground with the top tip point bent forward while it all rotated on a lazy-susan. When any of the lights began to disappear they would blink in and out then slowly fade into a dim disappearance. One of my neighbors who witnessed the UFO's is a aircraft mechanic, he could not identify any aircraft that he knows to make such formations or behave in such a way. The lights traveled NE and disappeared; both away from sky harbor and my house.

At 9:00 p.m. on June 12, 2014, my friend and I saw over the Kenilworth section of Asheville, NC, groups of orange fiery lights or shapes that would head in to cluster, then cross, and drift apart. We saw this phenomena as it drifted toward the east (individually, not as a piece) for five minutes as a hot-air balloons might. Objects, comparatively speaking, were much bigger than a star.

We noticed a glowing light over our car and stopped to get a better look. When looking at it, it seemed to sparkle, but when a picture was taken and zoomed in it showed the object to change colors and shapes. It moved in a arc pattern that eventually got smaller until the object disappeared.

The sun was setting, the sky was blue and there were clouds speckled amongst it all. I had been staring at a black object along the horizon for a few seconds, absent-mindedly, before asking my boyfriend “is that a plane or a bird?” I still wasn’t really thinking anything though. It was like it hadn’t hit me how unusual this object in the sky was, yet. My boyfriend stated that it looked like a big balloon from one of the car dealerships nearby. I thought about it for a second as I continued to stare but when I noticed that it was moving along the horizon at a steady, slow-paced, straight-lined course I began to think otherwise. The UFO seemed to shape-shift from almost circular-looking to flat and triangular-kind of pyramid-esq. The craft began to slowly ascend, I could see more of its energy field (which surrounding it in its entirety-the energy/light looked like a fan on high speed) the farther it traveled. It took quite a while to begin looking smaller, but it disappeared about anywhere from 3-10 minutes after it appeared (or so it seemed, I hadn’t looked at the time). My boyfriend went to grab some binoculars and told me to take some photos while he was gone, I took about 10 photos but the craft showed up in none of them even though it was still in plain sight/large enough to have shown up. Through the binoculars there was a visible light source underneath the UFO. Absolutely no noise what-so-ever. Headed towards the moon.

Accompanied by a very loud hum, an object appeared rapidly in the sky and was very bright, three rectangle squares of blue, green, and red, sort of arranged in a diamond shape. It moved very quickly far distances and came back, but its lights always facing down. The very loud hum continued. When it disappeared from our eyes, we could still hear it. It then came back again. All of a sudden six very white dome shaped lights appeared arranged in a circle, then all rotated. We saw white beams come down. It then quickly disappeared. Lots and lots of dogs were barking.

Between the time of 10:30PM-11:05PM PST a strange ghost-like orb was sighted by me. It was seen 310° NW in Alum Rock, California. I looked up above my neighbors house, and this ghostly orange orb was seen floating vertically at an 80° slant. This orb can barely be seen with the naked eye, but was an obvious object that had a ghost like appearance. It was not glowing, let's make that clear; it was a light orange color that blended into the dark sky.. As it moved it was like an upside down flame, floating ever so slightly leaving a ghost-like trail behind it.. It would stop a couple of times and would revert back to its original form; a sphere. Gazing upon it, for about 3-5 minutes, it disappeared blending into the night sky, I tried to keep motionless and staring at it, but soon it vanished without a trace. It was an eerie heart-beating event, I've never seen anything so astonishing in my life. I also want to point out, there were many aircraft in the sky, less than a dozen had been spotted during the time of 10:30PM-11:05PM. They could have been military, but as it was a moon lit night so I couldn't be certain.

I was driving down from Lake Tahoe coming down the hill on highway 50 when off to my right I saw a orange light hovering above the tree line. So I exited off the right on a exit that leads to a golf course an I parked an my girlfriend an I got out to see what it was. To me it looked like the top of the tree was on fire but it was just glowing above the tree line. My first reaction was to get my phone out an film but when I clicked on the video to record my phone would not record an then all off the sudden my phone went to 95% battery life to 1% in just seconds and then it died. So while we were watching it, it shot a light down onto the ground in between the trees an when the light hit the ground it made like a round base circle of light on the ground that was multiple of colors (white, red, blue, orange and green). It was very weird. So my girlfriend got really scared because we had our 2 year old son in the back. He was starring at the lights an pointing. So she wanted to leave so we got in our car an it wouldn't start as if the battery on our car went out. It wasn't even turning over so I tried to turn my phone on to call my brother in law to give me a jump but it was dead so we tried her phone an that was dead too. As we were in the car the light or beam slowly went back up into the craft right as it was gone the light on the craft dimmed out an I could see the figure of it. It was a round disc that was that seemed to have 3 layers of it that were rotating right to left and left to right. My girlfriend was so scared that she grabbed my pistol, so I grabbed it an popped a shot off not towards the craft but on the ground an it's lights turned back on an right before it took off it was really weird because when I saw it there were no windows at all none. Then after I popped a warning shot I saw 5 windows an I could see the out line of multiple figures and then it just shot up into the sky heading towards Lake Tahoe towards heavenly ski resort. I have seen lights in the sky all the time but this was just very disturbing I don't get scared of anything an this had me a little frighten I guess that's why I popped a shot off. After the craft left out car started and we left back home with my girlfriend really scared. I just got my phone charged that's why I'm filling out the report so late. Please if anyone who was coming down the hill that night saw it too please report it or if you know what it was please post what it is on the nuforc website. I know there was 2 cars pulled over when I was leaving so please report it. Is this a new military aircraft? I would really like a answer please so I can put myself an my girlfriend's mind at ease. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he assures us that the report is sincere and accurate. We have requested that his girlfriend submit a report, as well. PD

My brother and I were sitting outside and looking up at the sky a few years back. We both looked up, and saw something so bright flash across the sky. like a trail of rainbow light.. It went by so fast we were stunned.

My sons (10 and 7) were in the front yard playing when I noticed them looking at the sky in awe, I asked what was happening and the older one told me I should go out and see, it took me a few seconds to get out and when I got there above us in the distance (miles perhaps) high up there was a peculiar cluster of colored lights, I want to say their colors were white, red, green, blue, yellow. They were changing pattern quite fast, not zipping though, some were big and some smaller. At one point I noticed that the formed a nice oval, at that point the brightest one was red and in the middle... they were traveling South. I posted on Facebook to see if anyone else noticed but I got no response so far. By the time I was able to take a picture they were far and almost invisible, I will send it to you anyway, if you can take a look at it the cluster is in the very middle of it.

Me and my wife noticed an oval shaped object hovering. The object was constant but the stainless steel flash is vanishing and appearing again few times. We are not sure if it is an UFO so I had to drop my wife and go back to the location where it was hovering mean while that is approximately a minute, it was gone. Damn, maybe next time!

Detailed report to follow in the morning. Pictures are not good, but do show that these objects are far brighter than any other stars or planets. Rest of the sky is moving west while these remain stationary. Appears to be two amber lights with one red light. Seem to be turning as the red light is not always visible. We watch the sky often after the experience on March 13, 1997. I looked up and instantly recognized these as non-star/planet & possible UFO. Object nearly directly overhead emitted flash of light initially...sky was not completely dark at that time at altitude. Estimate these to be high or very high objects, unable to estimate their flight level. One airplane did seem to fly between the most east and most north object and turn while doing so but I can't be sure. These do closely resemble planets, but are much brighter, have two amber lights and the single red one. I'm going back out now to observe, time is 22:47. Will submit photo and drawing by mail. End of initial report. ((ADDENDUM FROM ORIGINAL WITNESS)) Hi Peter… I am ready to dismiss the sighting I had of the 3 barbell shaped UFO’s as atmospherics. Well, almost ready. As promised I was ready for the next nights event. If the objects re-appeared I would accept them as planets. And so it was with much anticipation that I took a chair amongst the cactus to examine the evening sky. The time was 2025. Oh the disappointment! For there they soon appeared in nearly the same place and in the same triangular formation. Oh well, I’m not the first to be duped by atmospherics. But wait? These look just like two planets and one star? These 3 are no where near as brite as on the previous night, and there is no red “navigation” light attached? What gives here? I must also report that my Mac went to a black screen immediately following my report on your web site. It took 3 days and 5 tech’s at Apple to solve the problem. “I’ve never seen this before, What’s this? This isn’t right…” Those and other comments from Apple while trying to restore the computer. Naw, must have just been planets and atmospherics. Unless someone was hiding in plain site. And I will admit that that is a stretch. Advise if you would still like the drawings & photo's to follow. I observed two sets of lights in the sky in an area where commercial aircraft fly near my house to approach the Indianapolis airport for landings. The lights were flying side by side with some distance in between them. They were traveling at a low speed and I thought they were possibly helicopters, however there was no engine noise. I noticed that there was more distance between the two sets of lights. At that point I noticed that one set of lights was climbing upward. I watched the ascending set of lights climb through a cloud until it vanished from my view. Then I saw a very large black circular and triangular shaped aircraft emerge from behind the clouds floating very slowly. The craft started descending and changed into a baloon like shape. I saw a total of five sets of lights and all five flew the exact same pattern and did the same thing. I did not see where they went or landed. I am a 66 year old Air Force Veteran and I have never seen anything like this.

DATE: MAY/ 28/ 2014 9:25PM LOCATION- South Topsail Beach/Surf City (near the old watch tower) One orange glowing ball and/or balls- the color was alot like the sun on a late afternoon. SIZE- it was in my perspective off in the sky - the object(s) were about the size of the eraser end of a pencil in circumference What happened????- The first orange ball appeared( became visible) in the sky- and almost instantaneously (give or take two or three seconds), the second orange ball became visible right beside (side-by-side) with the first ball (like the two balls looked like they were touching)- the second ball then simultaneously with what seemed like supersonic speed shot over directly to the right of the first ball* (about 1 or 2 inches separated the two balls in my perspective- then again almost instantaneously a line exactly the color of the two orange balls shot out to the right and connects the two balls to one another- it was almost like a laser or whatever you would call it was shot from the first ball to the second and connected them. SHAPE- the general shape of what I saw was a lot like a line segment on a line graph **TIME- the entirety of the event was roughly 2-4 seconds( give or take)- like I said the whole thing happened so fast hard to really pin point exact time

I observed with binoculars, a rust-colored object in the space above a twin-prop airplane. The plane gave me reference to size and speed: much slower than the plane and about the same size, when in its rolled-up position. The shape morphed from that of a rolled-up newspaper to that of a polyhedron. However,the edges were not straight angles, but were concave, like a star. The UFO continued on a straight course and morphed every 5-10 seconds. Its course was ESE to WNW.

We were traveling West on interstate 90. I looked to the left which would be south of the interstate and saw two side by side bright lights with golden like trails behind them. At first they appeared to be something taking a nose dive and crashing like footage that you see of air planes that have crashed at air shows. Except it is at night and no craft was visible just two bright lights with fire like trails behind them. They were not very high off of the horizon we lost sight of them in the trees. After the first initial dive they started an up and down motion and then you could see the lights with trails appear to go out of alignment but then you could tell that it was just changing direction. It had very fluid controlled movements. Then we lost sight of it behind the trees as we approached the toll booth. After we got our ticket and were on the other side of the toll booth it was gone. the object changed shape displaying different lights and colors for each. the shape sizes ranged from about 60-80 feet in length. the shapes were in this order as it moved SWS toward ENE. an elongated regular octagon with twenty small patriotic lights on the rim, a brighter yellow-orange version of the previous, a bubble letter "I" shape with three lights on each line large and yellow-orange, and a small 60' triangle with a deep, intimidating red glow generated by red hazy lights on each corner, back to the first shape. it caused on of the witnesses to have an impression that the craft didn't mean well. it was estimated at moving about Mach 1, and was 500-800' above the ground. it moved overhead as the triangular shape. I heard a plane with a propeller and looked up and there was a round-ish silver object near it in my field of view but much higher up. I focused on the object, thinking it might be a balloon and watched it for about 5-6 minutes. It was flying or drifting toward the Southwest. The object started jerking around and moving sporadically which made me watch it even more closely. I then saw a plane in my peripheral vision flying almost right at the object from the East. I looked at the plane and when I looked back the 'UFO' split into 4 parts and took on a different color, like a yellow-ish color. Then the 4 parts just flew around with each other, sometimes it looked like one was leading the others and they were flying in formation or performing. They were heading North and eventually got so far away that I lost track.

Two bright orange objects low in the western sky at approximately 10:00 pm. They would hover next to each other then one would move up into the sky kind of stretching out as it did so then returning to previous shape. They moved around for over 7 minutes each time returning to approximately the same point as we first saw them. I went into the house to get my girlfriend ad when I came back out the neighbors said they just took off at an extremely high rate of speed.

My friend and I were walking down Southwest Parkway near Rosemont Cemetery. I was star-gazing when I saw what at first appeared to be a helicopter flying through the sky. I believed it to be a helicopter because the UFO was composed of white lights angled downward like a helicopter with it's nose slightly tipped as if it were flying forward instead of up. Additionally, it was seemingly flying at an altitude typical of helicopters. At this point in time I point out the object to my friend who also began to observe it. The object moved through the sky at a steady and quick pace and moved in the same direction throughout the sighting. After roughly ten seconds of observation, the lights began to spiral around each other while still moving in the same direction as earlier. The lights moved closer together and spread apart, and I realized that if the UFO was a helicopter, it would've been out of control and it would not have been possible for it to maintain its altitude, speed, and direction. After roughly thirty seconds more of confused observation, the lights spread out from each other, farther than they had before, and faded into the night sky.

I was walking home from school on the night of May 16th, 2014. I live near an Air Force Base, so you can often see planes taking off. From where I was standing, I could see a yellowish white light that looked like the landing lights on a plane taking off and heading south and I thought nothing of it. I continued to casually observe it "taking off" until it made a definite right angle turn and picked up speed heading west, right over me. (I'm unsure of it's exact altitude but if I could guess, I would say maybe 1000-1200ft) In the midst of being completely stricken with fear nor having time I did not have time to grab my phone and record it as I would like to have but I will do my best to draw a picture and post it below. It moved so fast that if I were to look away it would have flown over the tree line near me and I would have missed it. As it began to fly over me, I observed the object grow a long tail and change colors. From the base it was a yellow white color, like a light. Then when it passed overhead it had a hazy, faded or transparent look to it. I could see through the object and then grew into a bright blue to green, and then puple, then orange and flew over the tree line. I have been to many air shows where jets will fly loud, low and fast and to this day never seen an object move like that. The best way I can describe it's speed was faster than a jet but slower than a meteorite, and what was the eeriest thing about it other than it changing angles and colors so abruptly, was it made absolutely no sound at all. I was so scared of something happening to me that I called my mother and my girlfriend at the time to let them know of what I had just seen, in case something were to have happened to me. A few hours later I also made a Facebook post about it and noted someone else saw the object. I was 18 at the time and am now 26. I am now finding the courage to talk about this to others more frequently because it was so bizarre and I think of it often.
