Le 17 mars 2009 un témoin à 2h20 observe un point lumineux près de la Lune qui l'intrigue. A son travail et avec des collègues il fait encore plusieurs cette observation. L'intensité du point lumineux disparait avec le lever du jour. La position du point et son déplacement intriguent les témoins. La configuration astronomique montre clairement que les témoins ont observé l'étoile ANTARES. Cette étoile "suit" la Lune et semble tourner autour de celle-ci comme décrit par un des témoins. Ce mouvement apparent naturel est simplement dû à l'éloignement respectif de l'étoile et de la Lune et au mouvement de rotation de la Terre. [GEIPAN classification A — Antares]

Un témoin rapporte l'observation du lent passage de deux points lumineux dans le ciel. Ils se déplaçent en direction du Sud, en parallèle et conservant la même distance entre eux. Aucun bruit n'est entendu durant la courte observation avant que les objets ne disparaissent. Le jour et à l'heure de l'observation, la navette spatiale était en phase d'approche de la station internationale. Le témoignage est cohérent avec l'observation de cet "attelage". On note toutefois que la direction décrite par le témoin (vers le Sud) n'est pas cohérente avec la direction "Pointe des corbeaux" qu'il indique aussi, et qui est E-SE, conforme à la trajectoire de l'ISS (voir carte). Ce cas est classé "A" : observation de la navette spatiale + ISS [GEIPAN classification A — ISS et navette spatiale]
