I was taking my dog out after getting in late from work. I'm a grad student at the University of Georgia in a physical science. I was looking at Orion and noticed 4 dim lights moving across the sky above Orion's head. The lights were dim (about as bright as the stars in Orion's sword or bow) but arranged like an equilateral triangle pointed in the direction of movement and the fourth light was on the left back side (if you extended the left triangle side back along the angle of the triangle's side). All lights were pretty equally spaced (except the fourth light from the far triangle's other vertex). No odd color or flashing seen. No sound. Overall size/spread comparable to the Pleiades. They moved pretty fast in a ~330 degree heading. I tried to see if the shape would eclipse a star (to see if they were four lights on a single craft/plane) or if they were separated with nothing between the lights, but the lights didn't pass over any stars I could see. I lost it in the city glare about 10-20 seconds after spotting the lights, when it had covered about 1/4 of the sky. It honestly looked very similar to a simple satellite crossing the sky, except there were four moving in motion together. I didn't notice any obvious individual light movement or change in relative position between the lights, but I think I saw a slight change in the relative positions due to perspective change as it flew farther to the northwest. No way to estimate altitude, although it was large enough that if it was a plane, it would've been low enough to hear probably. If four satellites could be placed together and move together across the sky, that would look just like this. But I can't find evidence of that actually happening (plus that seems risky for satellites) and I've never seen that in years of looking at the sky.

Witnessed 8-10 stationary bright UFOs appear then disappear, amazing. Was able to capture a photograph of it. People said they were able to see this phenomenon from Illinois to Ohio.

I was standing outside looking at the stars because all of the lights were out all over the city… As I was looking up I noticed a line of pale red lights going across the sky, the sky was very very clear and they were faint, there were too many to be a plane but they were in a straight line....then they disappeared and the lights all over town came back on...very strange....

At first I thought they were birds flying at High altitude until I got my binoculars. They were rotating so that you would only see one sphere and then two and then one, etc..... from the visible eye it appeared white and moved at the pace of a satellite across the sky maybe a little slower. I am assuming 5 minutes but I wasn't timing. The two spheres through binoculars were a round hazy green with what looked like fire in the middle or like a jet engine burn. It was unusual and not like the usual balloon you see sometimes and definitely not like the migrating birds I watch for. It was different which is why I'm writing this.

Object moved from west to east directly overhead. Lots (15-20) of small white lights connected by a structure that was less visible. Seemed low, moved quickly, linear to vowed in shape. Moved consistently, which is what caught our attention, And lights were evenly spaced and of consistent intensity,

this event happened at exactly 10:47 pm i know this because i have a photo on my phone of these objects with a time stamp and date there was 10 reddish/orange objects in the sky that looked like a ball of light they were at low altitude and were flying directly at port the columbus airport and trust me this was not a airplane or helicopter landing i see that all the time and this defiantly was not that. they were moving at about the speed of a helicopter and they were all moving at the same speed with no noise and not in any sort of military formation there was 3 in front with 1 behind those 3 then a group of 5 behind that 1 then 1 behind those 5

I had a number of choices for what to put in the shape of the craft section because this thing seemed to change formation. At first it appeared as four lights in the sky moving in a pattern, probably a message. They were making a distinct patterns, first forming the shape of a cross then gathering in the middle then going outward and making more shapes. It appeared to be a chevron, but then it seemed to change shape as it drifted further and further away into the sky. The lights from the shape got very close and then the stars appeared to move, as if a huge ship was going across the sky. It was so frustrating, whenever i thought i was getting a glimpse of something cloud coverage would block me. I think they were blocking me. The clouds were very strange last night, filled with an orange hue. Finally at the end of the sighting, the four orbs turned blue in hue and huddled around a star, perhaps they use this star to harness energy and shoot backwards into space. These lights faded off into the distance but will still discernible when i left the spot i was at. This doesn't bother me, I will check the sky for them tonight, they still could be very far away, just visible because of time and space. During this time I saw a fox acting strange, I saw deer traveling across and abandoned parking lot, and many bunnies. At around 2 am i saw a big orb, oval shaped and bright wall fall from the sky like a shooting star to my left.

I was on the phone with my wife, walking in my backyard at 6:55 pm (dusk). The sky was not completely dark yet, and the sun had already set. High white clouds were still visible in the sky. I live near Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Pleasant Hill Rd. I looked up and saw a squiggly line of faint white lights, maybe 20 or so, very close together, like they were on a rope strung together. The formation was moving about the same speed as Canada geese, and was very high in the sky, too high for birds. I watched it for a while, about a minute, as it went behind a small cloud, and came out the other side of the cloud, so it was very high. Finally the faint lights faded from view in the distance. It travelled from Northeast to Southwest. I watched it long enough to comment several times to my wife that I was watching something strange and she suggested taking a picture, but my phone was too slow to use the camera.

6-8 orange lights in a horizontal line. The event lasted about a minute, the lights flew over at relatively low altitude, and low air speed. They were traveling about as fast as a helicopter. The lights produced a sound similar to a flock of geese flying above.

As i was looking around on the roof of a 9 floored building I noticed a number of objects moving across the sky above me, each one trailing another in the form a giant caterpillar. They had a yellow glow and had a haze around them. After crossing 3/4 of the sky they formed a "V," and 4-5 seconds later, they again formed a caterpillar shape and then faded. They were moving and manoeuvring too fast for any human made craft I had ever seen. But they didn't make any sound. They seemed to be flying very high.

At approximately 9 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2015, my daughter and I were driving south on Hwy 43 towards Columbia, TN when we saw 4 bright blue-white lights in the sky on the driver's side of the car. They were approximately 50 feet in the air. At first we thought they were lighting up a haunted attraction for Halloween, but after looking a bit longer we noticed there were points of more concentrated lights at each corner, so the light source was coming from above, not the ground. They maintained a square shape, and looked like 4 lights, but occasionally a light would travel from one corner to another in a random fashion, so there may have been as many as 8 lights total. They were ahead of us at first on the left, but as we approached the main intersection of Hwy 43 with Hwy 31 the lights were keeping pace with us. My daughter snapped a couple of photos with her phone. We crossed the intersection and the lights were still pacing us, as they continued to do for several more miles. Then I looked back over and they were not there. We were relieved, but a few minutes later they were slightly ahead of us, kept pace for at least 5 more miles, then disappeared.

Two large, round bright white lights in the sky above Detroit. Looked hazy around the lights which give me the impression that it was in clouds. I didn't give the lights much notice at first but when I realized they didn't move or fade away it caught my attention. I began watching them while driving east on I-96. After I noticed them they disappeared about 30 seconds later. ' They also had some very small lights around these two giant round lights. Witness provides little contact information. PD

At first sight, we thought it was a jet plane because it seemed to be flashing red, white, and blue. But after watching for about an hour (and I've seen it other nights before, always thought it was an active plane route, didn't think much of it). However, tonight, I saw it was relatively still and flashing more colors (blue, red, green, yellow, white), SO I got out binoculars and I can only describe it as a cluster of multi- colored lightning almost. But the colored strands seemed to move and make different shapes. It almost resembled a flower at one point. So weird. I found some similar pictures on Google and people were calling it a UFO. Also, found another post in Florida of someone experiencing what sounds like the same thing. Interesting. We suspect that the witness may have been observing a "twinkling" star. PD

I happen to be outside and noticed a low flying (less than 100 ft.) what I thought was a helicopter or plane and realized it was neither in a field at my home. There were at least 4 or 5 vehicles flying in formation mimicking the lights of a plane or helicopter. Although, I could hear a jet above but couldn't see it, the formation made no sound as I filmed the video a few minutes later and the jet had passed. I had seen it the prior two days in another field in front of my home. In the last 3 mo. I have witnessed roughly 30 or so different types of crafts that are not of this world around my home following an encounter I had with a different UFO and aliens or beings on Sept. 23, 2015, in which my car was disabled on hwy 101. Prior to that I had never witnessed a UFO let alone it's occupants. Since then, I continually see UFOs virtually everywhere I look usually in the night sky.

Breaking the sound barrier in line formation for individual cylinder flashing light objects

Occurred about 50 minutes after sunset. Looking towards the east two bright star looking objects were visible to the right of the moon. Objects were at least as bright as ISS. ISS only had one pass during the 26th that passed earlier in the evening from the west to south. Lights had a blueish tint to them. Initially thought it was Jupiter/Venus, since they are close together right now but realized they are only visible early morning here. Next thought was aircraft landing lights (LED type since they were blueish) but lights did not move and faded slowly not extinguished like aircraft landing lights and no strobes visible after lights disappeared. Lights were close together diagonal from each other (As seen in red circle of graphic) Lights were motionless but faded over about 30 seconds from bright to faint to gone but without any movement in relation to the moon which seems to discount any bright satellites. 2nd image shows no satellites listed in that area close to the moon. Called local ATC tower at CYMX had one aircraft in that direction at low altitude, but nothing that should be in that area of the sky.

Observed proceding from cupcake Mesa Ridge, rising in two groups, 8 glowing red orbs, flight pattern sw. by se. Within 10 minutes, 2 military jets appeared, moving rapidly in pursuit of something?? 15 minutes later, we observed two additional red orbs in the west that rose in altitude, then turned into white lights and seems to glare very bright, then diminish quickly. Disappeared and then reappeared in different locations, hovered for about 15 minutes then faded and disappeared

They were not emitting light because they were getting dimmer as it was getting darker indicating they reflecting off light from Sun. As they were higher up in the sky than trees objects and homes on ground, they were brighter as long as sun set completely in the horizon.

My wife and I were stopped at a stop light in downtown Maysville, Kentucky, on our way to our friends' house. We're very familiar with the area and we both noticed a large glowing orange light moving slowly across the sky across the Ohio River. (No flickering, no additional blinking aircraft lights, etc) The light was moving in a west to east direction parallel to the Ohio River. I wasn't going to mention it to my wife, until she yelled out "What the hell is that light moving?" At this point we were both very aware that something was strange was in the sky and paying attention to it as much as possible. As we left the stop light and headed west into downtown, we noticed there were now two of the same large lights next to each other. One noticeably moving and one stationary above the bluffs on the Ohio side of the river. As we passed by a building to another opening there were then 3 lights, all stationary in a triangle formation. We passed by another building in downtown and there were the 3 lights in a triangle formation, and now 4 additional lights of the same brightness and hue in a separate rectangle formation. (I am sending reproductions and diagrams to the email to demonstrate as best as I can remember the lay out of all lights) We turned to enter the Simon Kenton Bridge to cross the river into Ohio and all the lights were completely gone from the sky with no trace. My wife and I were blown away by what we saw, honestly. When we got to our friends house we had to have the "We've been friends for a long time, so you have to believe what I'm about to tell you..." speech. We've done research off an on since we saw the lights that night, finally finding this website. Once we saw there were similar sightings in the Ohio-Tucky area, with multiple balls of orange light in the sky, we knew we needed to report it to here as well. My wife and I are small business owners operating a print and sign business in Maysville. To date this is the only time we've ever witnessed something we couldn't quite understand or explain reasonably. If you need to contact me for any further details feel free to do so. Large red linear blinking light pattern moving south from southern Durham. Was banked sharply to the left, then rotated as it moved away to bank sharply right. It was against a southern constellation, maybe spanning 3 degrees of angular view, within 30 seconds it was far less than 1 degree.
