Le 28 octobre 2012 vers 10h un témoin observe un phénomène lumineux dans le ciel dégagé. Depuis son balcon et en direction de l'Ouest le témoin suit des yeux le lent déplacement d'un phénomène de forme cylindrique brillant et de couleur argenté avec un petit halo rouge sur la gauche. Le témoin rentre dans l'appartement chercher son appareil photo mais lorsqu'elle revient au bout de 15 secondes tout a disparu. Aucun bruit, aucune fumée n'ont été remarqués. Un seul témoignage est recueilli. Le feu rouge continu (halo rouge) à gauche du "cigare" et le soleil dans le dos du témoin est compatible avec un aéronef éclairé par le soleil. Selon le dessin du témoin, l'angle de vue d'un fuselage (sur la tranche) pourrait expliquer l'absence visible d'ailes. La longueur de l'observation (3 minutes) parait exagérée. Le point de vue du témoin (portion de 35° environ) semble restreint pour une si grande durée. Le ciel au-dessus du témoin est parcouru par de nombreuses lignes aériennes dans tous les sens (le ciel de google street est plein de trainées de condensation à cet endroit). Ce qui fait l'étrangeté pour le témoin est l'absence d'ailes, la rapidité de la disparition. Ce qui abaisse le niveau d'étrangeté est l'absence d'autres témoins et l'interruption de l'observation. En conséquence le GEIPAN classe le cas en B : Avion. [GEIPAN classification B — Avion de ligne]
