Le 26 octobre 2011 vers 20h30 un témoin observe dans le ciel (région de la constellation du Verseau) une étoile extrèment brillante. Le témoin s'étonne de constater que l'intensité lumineuse diminue progressivement pour finir en un tout petit point dans le ciel. L'observation fait penser à un avion vu de face, phare allumé, vu à une distance de plus de 10 km (qui rend les feux vert et rouge invisibles) et qui aurait changé de direction (voir carte). Cette hypothèse, non vérifiée, a été soumise au témoin qui n'a pas répondu. Ce cas est classé "B" par le GEIPAN : observation probable d'un avion de face, phare allumé.
