Once I grabbed my camera ( which had no SD card) I ran back outside and there was another single one coming from the exact same spot.It followed the exact same path while slowly dimming. The lights did not blink and were not a color that is associated with aircraft that I know of. Witness elects to provide no contact information. PD

At first, my (5 yo) son thought there was a shooting star. We looked up and we saw a formation of lights shooting across the sky. There were 10-12 bright lights moving within an oval shape across the sky. It was moving in the direction of the beach.

I was headed east on Highway 74 (Florida Ave.) to pick up my daughter from Heritage High School. I first thought this object to be jet aircraft that was extremely low. I live near March Air Force Base, so I believed it to be preparing for landing. Changed my mind when realizing it was way too low for that to happen safely. It appeared to be heading in a northwesterly direction. Then the object seemed to stop and rest on the top ridge of a small hill. I picked up my daughter at this point and told her what I saw. While it was moving it had 3 white lights. 2 on the ends and the middle one was much bigger and extremely bright. The middle light seemed to fluctuate like a flare or welder’s arc. While the object was stopped there were only 2 lights visible. This is what my daughter saw as well. I drove closer and saw 2 other people in their car that saw the 2 light configuration, but not the 3 floating/flying lights. I dropped my daughter off at home and went to a high point to see if any action was visible. I could only see one light on the ridge but to the right was a blinking light moving back and forth. Looked like it could have been movement similar to a helicopter, but it moved too quickly to be so. Hope to see if anyone reports something similar.

Cape May (headed toward on Parkway South), NJ
Driving south on Garden State Parkway (from Ocean City towards Cape May), a formation of multiple colored lights hovered in the sky. Colors ranged from purple to blue to green to red. They moved in a manner never before seen by my own eyes in person. There was a gap of space between the formation of lights and ONE singular metallic/white spacecraft that moved towards the formation of lights faster than anything I've ever seen before. As we drove past the lights, the metallic/ white light caught up to them in NO TIME, and the lights shifted towards over the bay. Every hair on my body stood up for about 5 minutes and occasionally does the same as I continue to think about what it is we just saw. LISTEN--I'm not one to joke around about something of this magnitude. There were other cars headed in our direction that saw the same thing and pulled over to the side of the highway to further examine what they were seeing. If my daughter was not in the car, I too, would have pulled over.

Started out as am orange red ball just sitting there. Then it broke apart into a bunch of smaller lights (5-7), almost in a formation. They came back together, and then split apart again, before disappearing into the southern skies.

Sometime between the hours of 10:15pm and 10:30pm, myself and two friends of mine witnessed a cluster of multi-colored lights in a formation travelling across the sky in what we think was a northeastern direction. At first we thought it was fireworks, but the formation of lights which seemed to pulsate between shades of blue, red and green traveled across the sky in the same direction until they moved behind the trees and beyond our point of view. They seemed to be at the same altitude as aircraft. We spoke via telephone with the source of the report, and he seemed to us to be quite sincere, and sober-minded. PD

At 10:00 PM CST (July 29, 2017), my family and I witnessed a flight of 12 objects flying in a formation of 4 groups of 3 objects. They were flying at a high altitude, and did not have any beacons, strobes, or red/green indicators. The unknown items were so high, we might not have noticed them, because they looked liked stars at first, but my daughter jumped and said "they were moving". And wow, they were moving in a coordinated formation and direction (south-southwest). As there were at least 12 objects, one would have thought there would be engine noise, but none was heard. I would wonder if these items were observed on DFW Airport, Alliance Airport, or Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base's radar screens?

Sitting in back yard with my lady on my lap, watching sky for aerial phenomena, as we both enjoy doing, 3:45am. All-at-once, same time, this slightly askew triangle (just looks like ordinary stars), broke apart in opposite directions--Two lights slow moving while the third light moved away much, much faster (south). Those two slow moving lights came to rest after about 12 seconds (appearing tethered like two a moored boats), remaining the same distance from each other, swaying slightly, about four fingers apart. The third light in the formation that moved much-much faster, was quickly out of our view because of the house/roof (like 3 seconds). So we watched the two "tethered" lights for about 8 minutes. Then another light came back from the same direction as the fast moving third one, like it had done a u-turn, flew right back at the same speed. It went right between the two "tethered" lights, and kept going until out of sight (north). We watched those two steady "tethered" lights until they started to fade with the sunrise and we went inside, at least another 40 minutes til we turned in. Unique, to say the least. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous. PD

My fiancé and I were traveling home in my vehicle after grocery shopping. He suddenly said, "Look up!" as he leaned forward over the steering wheel. When I leaned forward and looked up I saw what I estimated to be a dozen or so twinkling/blinking/phasing objects flying in a close V-formation. He pulled over immediately, and I turned on my phone's camera to record video. (Due to technical error on my part, I missed recording most of the sighting.) Initially, they were overhead. I had difficulty understanding what I was seeing, as the twinkling was disorienting, especially that if one blinked out completely, it might reappear elsewhere suddenly. They did not maintain formation for very long, due to the leap-frog-like blinking in and out. (The objects both twinkled and blinked out completely.) The color of the lights/ objects was a light amber color. There was no sound beyond traffic (we were near an interstate on-ramp). The shape was basically spherical. The twinkling sometimes gave the hint of an egg-shape, but I believe that to be an optical illusion. I witnessed the objects seeming to disappear and reappear from the V-formation, some of them failing to reappear. They were moving from the western suburbs of Birmingham toward the city of Birmingham. Eventually, the lights were either too far away to see or they had just disappeared. I was able to get a fairly poor quality video (33 seconds of one or two of them in the distance) that demonstrates the "twinkling." Sometimes the lights moved toward their destination before blinking out. That's how I was able to comprehend they were reappearing elsewhere after they blinked out. My fiancé said he did not see as many ibjects as I did. He saw about half as many, but he was driving in traffic, and I was completely focused on the sighting from the moment he pointed out lights in the sky. The objects were flying far too close together to be any manned craft of which I am aware. Initially, I had assumed it was military exercise, then I thought it was helicopters. Logically, it could not have been helicopters. Not only was the light-color wrong for any aircraft I've seen, but - beyond Blue Angels, I've never seen aircraft fly so closely in formation. The number of lights dwindled to two, then one, and I lost sight. I didn't get the impression that they were moving especially fast, but I don't know how low they were flying. I had an overwhelming sense of disorientation which certainly contributed to guessing at their altitude. They flew over radio towers, but before I saw that, I would have said they were flying very low overhead. To be clear, it was dark and I saw no physical objects beyond the lights. I have spoken about them assuming that the twinkling was somehow a part of a physical object. I can't conceive of how the twinkling wouldn't be attatched to a physical object of some sort.

On July 17, 2017, at approximately 9:20 PM- I, along with my daughter and her fiance', were sitting on our driveway, when my daughter and I saw a fireball falling from the sky in the south. Within in seconds of seeing the fireball, my daughter's fiance' pointed out four objects that, at first glance, appeared to be four distant stars. These objects were rotating in perfect unison in a clockwise direction. They kept a consistant and equal distance between each other, before merging together, then forming a perfectly straight line with the same equal distance as in the clockwise rotation. The four objects then headed south in the direction of the fireball for a short distance. Two of the objects continued on in the direction of the fireball while the other two objects changed direction and proceeded north.

Witness Background: (1) Engineer (2) Wildlife Biologist Description: At approximately 11:15 pm, 7/15/17, the following was observed from Lyons, CO, for 5–7 minutes: -- Clear night; no clouds; very low light pollution allowed the Milky-Way white glow to be visible; Big Dipper visible -- Hundreds of star-like (point lights with white color) lights were seen moving in the same direction, with different and changing speeds, like a flock of birds would move in relation to each other, but slower…perhaps due to the distance…The spatial distance between them changed; the direction of travel changed; -- They covered the sky and took 5 – 7 minutes to move through the sky and appeared to change direction as a group. However, from our point of view, there was one area with the mass of observable lights, but which were also seen in other parts of the sky but less dense. -- Silent. No visible trail. No apparent predictable formation. Neither of us has ever seen anything like it. -- It was not a meteor shower because what we observed moved much slower, and were observed over several minutes, while appearing to speed up, slow down, and change direction…also, meteors were seen, but were at a different angle to the direction of travel for what we saw, and obviously much, much faster, only visible for split seconds. Planes were seen and identified due to red/green/white aviation lights…what we observed was different. Satellites were seen, usually only one at a time, but never more than two or three together moving in the same path at the same speed…and not changing direction. -- Because we were astonished, we made specific reference to where we were, where the Big Dipper was, etc..

As I was driving to work, I saw 4 balls of light that were a dull burnt orange in color. When I first noticed them, they were in the shape similar to a backwards "s". I went to grab my phone to try and take a picture/video of what I was seeing, when I looked back up at the sky the balls of light had begun to move into more of a square or diamond formation. When I arrived at work minutes later I could no longer see them in the sky.

First spotted four lights coming across the horizon in a diamond formation. These were followed by several more in a flock. The lights appeared far away, behaving like fireflies, but it was obvious they were MUCH larger. Definitely not airplanes (there was a plane elsewhere in the sky at the same time and it was nothing similar in appearance or behavior). The lights flocked across the sky slowly, glowing off and on like fireflies. The lights were slightly bluish in color. Spotted from the smoking patio of The Milestone Club on Tuckaseegee ((sic. Tuskegee??)) Dr. Did an internet search to see if there were any other reports of this sighting, found this video of an almost identical sighting also in Charlotte from 10/15/16: https://youtu.be/qxLEnqsUYS4

The objects appeared as 5 distinct white lights and were flying in a close formation at approximately 2,000 feet above ground level. They periodically broke formation, and some disappeared, then later reappeared and regrouped in formation again. We suspect it might have been drones, but they were very well coordinated. We have video taken from our cell phone.

Butte, MT
On July 4, 2017, at 22:23 p.m. (Mountain Daylight Time), in Butte Montana, to the south at over 2000 feet elevation (the mountains one mile to the east rise 2000 feet above my location and the object seemed at least that high) I saw an unknown object, I’ll call it object #1. It appeared as two distinct lights: pulsating blue-turquoise light on its left, and constant red light to the right. The object appeared to be hovering and not moving much. The object was in about the same location as another type of object I saw a few minutes earlier (see my other report). I watched #1 for a while and then I saw another object that looked exactly the same in the West; I’ll refer to it as object #2. The #2 was about the same altitude as #1. Then realizing it is something unusual with two of the same objects, I went inside to get my binoculars and iPad. Both #1 and #2 were hovering and visible when I went inside. While inside, #1 disappeared. Using binoculars, I took a closer look at #2 and could see not two lights but a string of 4 round red lights to the right and below the blue lights. The blue lights were 3 or 4 and round as well and only the blue were pulsating. The lights were parallel to each other (blue on top red on bottom) but they were not perpendicular to the ground. They were higher to the right and lower to the left when viewed. Also the blue lights were not directly above the red but offset a little to the left: Blue Blue Blue Blue Red Red Red Red. The lights were very distinct or solid and not at all like aircraft lights. I am a few miles north of the airport, but there were no airplane or helicopter sounds, and the objects I saw were relatively motionless. I proceeded to take a photo followed by a 4 minute plus video of #2 on my iPad. The photo and video are not at all as clear as I could see with the naked eye. However, when I zoom on the photo, I can see the 4 red lights in a row as I described. The photo didn’t capture the blue light which must have been “off” in the pulsating cycle. On the video, the pulsating lights seem more white than the deep turquoise blue I experienced. Many people in the area were setting off their personal Fourth of July fireworks as seen in the video. However, #2 hovers over the spectacle below. After four minutes or so, I quit taking video and after 10 minutes from the first sighting of #1, #2 descended slowly out of view behind some trees. Shortly before I saw #1, and immediately after # 2 disappeared, I saw 3 other objects of a different type and will report the sighting of those in a separate report. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he seemed to us to be unusually serious-minded and sincere. We suspect that he is a highly reliable witness. PD

The small community, Doaktown, New Brunswick, Canada was watching the fireworks being held for "Canada 150" at the Doaktown School playground, when the UFO was spotted at 10:31pm Atlantic time. The UFO was flying in a triangular formation, but it appeared to be 3 separate lights that were round in shape and white/blue in colour. They were not overly bright. They flew over the fireworks and were almost hit a number of times before suddenly changing direction flying North- East rather than strictly East. It came from the West. Many people saw the UFO and in a video of the fireworks that I had taken a man can be heard saying, "What's that flying over top?", while numerous other people gasp and shout about "the lights". It cannot be seen in the video - it was shot with a Samsung Note 4 camera which has poor low-light detection while on video mode. I did however, get a photo of the object while the sky was dark and firework-less. The photo is not of good quality and the object looked quite different in person, but this is the best I could do in the 40 seconds that it lasted. You can see in the middle of the photo, 3 lights that form a triangle, this is the object. Again though, it looked different in person and to the naked eye as the lights appeared closer to earth, larger, and more white/blue than the photo shows.

We were leaving the firework display in town, heading home, going westbound out of town. In dark sky over Rancho Manana noticed what looked like a very large constellation, almost like a large Cassiopea and an exaggerated Orion's belt together. As we were looking, the stars appeared to hover around each other, they then started to move eastbound and separate from their formation and continue traveling. We pulled the car over and watched them til the were out of our site.
