Le mardi 9 octobre 2012 vers 22h40 un témoin observe depuis son jardin la présence dans le ciel de deux points lumineux jaune foncé. Ces points semblent immobiles puis se déplacent rapidement en direction du Sud-Ouest. Aucun bruit particulier n'est entendu durant l'observation qui dure trois minutes. Le témoin perd de vue ces points lumineux. Après enquête sur place avec le témoin, et après investigations auprès des autorités militaires, il s'avère que l'observation coïncide parfaitement avec des manœuvres militaires d'envergure. Cependant les autorités ne précisent pas le type d’aéronef concerné (hélicoptère, avion, ballon éclairant). D’autre part, nous ne disposons pas d’une autre observation du même phénomène pour confirmer qu’il s’est bien déroulé au-dessus d’une base aérienne. En conclusion, nous disposons d’une hypothèse sérieuse et étayée, mais pas de preuve formelle. Le GEIPAN classe ce cas en catégorie B, observation très probable de deux aéronefs lors de manœuvres militaires. [GEIPAN classification B — Aéronef]
