May 14, 2017 · 10:20 PM · FIREBALL

Des Plaines, IL

I was out in my backyard when I saw a bright red-orange fireball shaped object through my tree. It was traveling east to west very high in the sky. Thought it was a plane at first but no other lights and as stated, was very high in the sky. As it traveled it turned shades of red to orange and pulsed. Eventually totally vanished from sight like a light turned off. Near O'Hare airport.

Coolridge, WV

Was traveling home from picking up some burgers for the family... It was a clear night and I noticed two lights in the sky... They stood out because they were yellow looking.... When I finally got a good veiw of them... one was over top of the other and looked like big fireballs falling to earth... I pulled in the driveway and ran into the house to tell my wife what I saw.... I looked back outside and only one was left.... but it was flying east.... My wife came to the door and seen the one... It still looked like a fireball.. .but traveling east, instead of falling.... Very weird... My wife called 911 to report this and see if anyone else had seen it... No one had reported any thing on this

Fulton, NY

While outside my daughter asked what five glowing orange objects were in the sky. They were in arched pattern for approximately 5 minutes moving very slowly to the northeast and upward. As I sent my daughter in to get my phone to record them, the top three seemed to just disappear. I was able to record (although not as impressive as viewing live) the remaining two. They continued northeast and upward for another minute or two, and disappeared themselves.

Surprise, AZ

My husband and I saw a round red flame light ball, no sound at all, gliding across the sky.

May 9, 2017 · 11:00 PM · FIREBALL

Blackshear, GA

A fire like sphere slowly appeared in the sky above the tree line 2-4 miles away. It held its position steady, then faded out as another faded into light just above to its right. The second object did the same as the first and at that moment another appeared to the right. This dimming Christmas light type pattern stopped entirely, then reappeared two more times. They all migrated to the north. 3 separate formations at 3-4 lights each formation. None of them seemed to move at all. All the same orange fire like dimming glow.

Los Angeles, CA

Green light stood still for two seconds then immediately shot across the sky at extremely high speed. Much faster than any object ever seen flying in the sky. I saw it while driving on the 10 freeway passing Crenshaw Blvd., going westbound.

May 6, 2017 · 5:00 AM · FIREBALL

San Francisco, CA

It looked like a star, but then looked like it was moving away from us. My friend and I were standing on the Embarcadero, looking out toward the Bay Bridge, facing East (toward Oakland). I rubbed my eyes, I blinked, I asked my friend if he was seeing what I was seeing. It was definitely moving away from us, but wasn't a plane or a helicopter or a meteor/"shooting star." As he said, it was a "wobbler" - it was moving slowly and appeared to wobble, then it suddenly shifted to the south and went dark. It was there, then it was gone. I got a little video, but I couldn't get a steady shot but I do think you can see the ball of light, almost directly above the bridge. The only "rational" explanation we could come up with was a drone, but that doesn't actually make sense.

May 4, 2017 · 11:34 PM · FIREBALL

York, NE

11:17 p.m CST. (The before situation) This is when I first snuck outside to go stargazing for a while. When I first came outside I began to watch the stars and relax as the last day of school for me is the 5th of May 2017. I see the usual things such as a few shooting stars, twinkling of the stars, and just normal stuff one would see in the night sky. Minutes pass by as my friend and I were talking about the what Earth would look like from space. 11:34 p.m CST.(The Sighting itself) Now at this time I was just glancing around in the sky when I first saw it and pointed it out to my friend. It looked like a meteor at first from a very far distance. This was in the East/South sky, about 75-80 degrees. It was such a bright flash of light compared to other stars and it didn't just go away. For a minute I thought it was just another planet. Then thoughts crossed my mind if it was a man made satellite. It couldn’t have been however. It was moving different directions. First traveling towards the South sky. Then it began crossing in a back and forth motion. It would occasionally stop for a minute or two. Then it would go back up and move in this back and forth motion. At this point I stood up knowing it was not man made, as my friend tracked it, I ran quickly grabbed my high powered laser pointer (10 Mile radius Class 4 green colored) my friend pointed it out and we shone it to see if there would be reaction from it. It did seem to react which was very interesting meaning it must have spotted this light, at least a very low power of it. As soon as i shone at this light, it stopped and stood still. It didn't move for at least 5 minutes. It moved again and I shone at it again. The craft stopped again. By this point my friend and I ran inside and changed and began looking up who records these sightings. 11:48 p.m CST. (The call in) After seeing this I began looking for somebody who would take in this sighting. I googled exactly where to report and immediately called the hotline. 11:50 p.m CST. I told the man at first how i swear it was not a prank call. I forgot his name (I asked at the end and completely forgot) I explained it as “A fireball" looking thing that switched directions in the sky” It was in more words but if I were not so panicky of giving a 15 second detail it would've sounded better. He told me to make a report on what me and my friend saw and in a way he could describe it. Therefore, I made this report in order to show that a sighting is just a matter of paying attention. 12:09 a.m CST. I began writing the report and finally finished at 12:30 a.m . Thank you for taking note of my findings.

April 26, 2017 · 12:00 AM · FIREBALL

Santa Barbara, CA

the first craft was a fireball, the second craft was a blinking light. i assumed the second craft was following the fireball but they appeared to separate when i first noticed them. craft number 2 gave me the impression it was ours... but at first, when they separated, it looked like pieces breaking off, which did happen later with the fireball, but they changed speeds and gathered distance really quickly. About 30 seconds after they separated, the fireball also slowed down and started to turn outward from the california coast and i assume upward, or still, based on the angle because it slowly faded. But maybe 45 seconds before the fireball died, the blinking light disappeared after pulsing rhythmically for the first 45 seconds.

Richmond (Canada), BC · Canada

Around 1:05 am, I noticed a huge fireball orb in the sky. After zooming in the picture, I noticed something in the middle. The ball never moved an inch, and stayed for about 12 minutes. I found it a little strange it was so close to the airport. Witness does not indicate a date for the sighting, so we have assigned an arbitrary one, until we hear from the witness. PD

I called into house to my sister to have a witness. She came out and object was stationary about 10 more seconds, then slowly moved out of sight, lower than the houses in front of us. Smoke was left behind when it disappeared from sight.

April 17, 2017 · 10:10 AM · FIREBALL

Anaheim, CA

Stopped at a light on Westminster Blvd. looking toward Anaheim, I noticed a red orb in the clouds. I blinked a few times to verify if it was flashing from, perhaps a plane, but it remained solid red. It kept moving downward smoothly. After a good seven seconds, I tried to grab my phone real quick to get a video but as I looked up, it disappeared. It looked as if it left a small visible trail behind it.

April 16, 2017 · 11:10 PM · FIREBALL

South Belot, WI

I'm sitting on my bed around 11:10 pm or 23:10, and I look out my window and I see a ball of light that's flashing white, red, blue, pink that come from no where very fast. And it stop and moves in circles in the middle of the sky. Though out the night it gets smaller and around 1am to 5am it disappears. This is the second time I have seen this object and that was 5 days ago.

Newport News, VA

From 2130 until 2200, there were at least eight (8) instances of a bright fireball like object traveling across the sky. From the approximate coordinates of (37.0923673,-76.4544147), near The Chesapeake living community in Newport News, VA, the object could be seen traveling in a somewhat ballistic trajectory. Each object would originate from the south-southeast and travel north. The objects were low on the horizon. There would only be one object at a time, with a few minutes between each instance. The objects seemed to be far away, possibly over the Chesapeake bay. The objects were very bright and constant, and did not have flashing lights like an airplane. They looked very similar to rockets, similar to ones launched from Wallops Island. No sound could be heard. Other air traffic (planes, etc) would be seen flying but not typically when these object were seen. The fireball was spherical in shape and bright orange/red. I have a video of a few of ! them. They all seemed to follow the same path. I can also send the original (uncompressed) video files if possible. At about 14 seconds into the video: https://goo.gl/photos/2hNrGd9ZBk7VtPKQ7 Most of this video has the object traveling right to left across the sky: https://goo.gl/photos/B6tovEx15obqjAfJ7 Can be seen at about 15 seconds: https://goo.gl/photos/pj4mbqkCrVDTVJxw5 At about 52 seconds, the object can be seen in this video. I believe this was through an optic: https://goo.gl/photos/ivg48NRx8DZXVTyu9

On Thursday, 04-13-17, myself and my two children witnessed multiple crafts that resembled flashing orbs or fireballs. They were in the northern sky over the coast line, within a 2 mile radius of the local nuclear power plant. They would appear to hover or float along and glide. They flicker on and off like a lightbulb, and seem to disappear when airplanes fly by. Occasionally, they would light up very bright like a fireball, but flash in an array of colors that resembled a mystic topaz or fire opal. I have them on video that I recorded on my iPhone 6s Plus.
