Un témoin rapporte son observation faite le 11 juillet 2013 à 22h30 : dans le ciel, il suit l'apparition de trois points lumineux orange vif qui se déplacent NE-SO silencieusement puis disparaissent successivement après un changement de direction vers l'Ouest. Malheureusement sur les vidéos prises, on distingue à peine les points lumineux. Cependant le témoin joint une photographie d'écran à son questionnaire. Aucun autre témoignage ne sera recueilli. Cette observation très peu étrange de quelques points lumineux orange vif sur des trajectoires semblables évoque immanquablement les lanternes thaï. Par contre, le déplacement constaté (NE vers SO, puis O) ne correspond pas exactement au vent de N relevé à Dijon (50 km) ou Mâcon (à 60 km) , mais plus à celui relevé à Paray le monial ( 70 km) (vent de NE). Le changement de direction peut s'expliquer par des effets des reliefs locaux, ou par une légère imprécision ou illusion sur la perception de la direction des lumières par le témoin. En l'absence de données très locales sur le vent, le GEIPAN classe ce cas peu étrange "C". [GEIPAN classification C — Manque d'informations fiables]
