Johnsburg, IL
On 6/08/2014, in Johnsburg, Illinois, my wife, kids and I observed a steady stream of reddish/orange lights emerge from East, and progress at a rapid rate towards the South West. The lights were mostly following a straight line formation, with a few further South the all of them. We did not hear any sounds, and the lights were much brighter than the foreground. They seemed to emerge from the darkness, get brighter, and then vanish as fast as they appeared. The lights were bright red, not aviation lights. From my vantage point it appeared that these lights were increasing in altitude as the lights became dimmer and dimmer until vanishing. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he seemed to us to be quite eloquent and sober-minded, in his description of the sighting event. We suspect that his report is an accurate portrayal of what was seen. PD

Strange object that I thought at first was a plane in the sky east of Auburn. Flashed light like it was turning and catching the reflection of the sun. Too small to be a plane but seems to be at a planes altitude. It traveled south for awhile and then stopped and hovered. Tried to figure out if it was a helicopter or maybe a remote controlled toy by its movements. Seriously too high in the sky to be either.

I was driving home from work on Highway 63 North. There were three orange lights diagonally lined up (heading south bound). At first appeared to be bright stars. As I got closer the objects appeared almost stationary but were moving very slowly south bound. The objects were NOT blinking and appeared at a lower altidude then the average aircraft including helicopters. They appeared to be to small to be aircraft. In short they looked like very bright orange stars at a very low altidude not much higher then average lightning tower. They were NOT meteors, satilites, lightning towers, or any identifiable aircraft. I reported this because I have a reliable backround. I am college educated and work for a state agency. We are in the flight path for Indianapolis International. These objects would have been in the airspace of the airport, and possibly in the flight path depending on the active runways. They were about 2000ft agl, estimate speed at 100-120 kts, steady, and made no sound what so ever.

They seemed to be still then they started moving closer to each other passing each other. I looked it up on the internet, and they were exactly like the red dots that were filmed at a previous date in AZ. We suspect an evening sighting, and have changed the time above. We attempted to contact the two witnesses, husband and wife, but have not managed to reach them, yet. PD

Calgary/Regina (2 hrs. east of Calgary)(Canada), SK · Canada
I was sitting in the back of our vehicle on a road trip to Regina in Saskatchewan in Canada, we were about 2 hours out of Regina travelling east from Calgary. I saw the very typical fleet formation way way up in the sky, i was looking at the vast prairie skyline, when i noticed a large number of lights, moving together as one swarm/fleet, they were not guess, they had a continuous average size but sometimes two or more of them began coalescing into a singular object of the same size as one on it own.. they were spherical balls of light moving at a great speed. I've seen videos of the same kind of "fleet" all over the world. This was my first time seeing something like this.. my friend could see them also but his internal filters made him not want to look for more than a second and dismiss them as Geese.. they were not geese..

Looking out the north window at the sky as I often do before going to sleep, the Big Dipper was to my left, stars dotted the dark sky. Directly above, I thought I saw a jet heading south to north. It was white, or star-like, but a pinpoint, very high up, moving steadily much as a plane but without strobe lights which are usually visible. It disappeared & reappeared a few times, yet the sky seemed cloudless. (Weather tonight clear & calm.) Suddenly there was a flash or burst of light as the object continued north, disappearing & reappearing before going out of sight. Writer is UNE graduate medical assistant. I took our dog down to the town beach at 12:30AM (approx.), and noticed a light to our south, over Truro/Wellfreet across the bay. It was higher than any police tower or radio antennas. The light seemed large compared to all other faint lights on shore. I left the beach and went to my house and got my partner. It was still there when er returned and hadn't moved from when I had seen it. We noted the moon to our backs as we faced the light. It was a clear evening. We evnetualy left since it didn't seem to move. We know the coastline across the bay. We've never seen a light that bright or big anywhere near that location before.

I saw 4 orange lights in the sky, I have never seen anything like them. Minutes later I saw another one. Two went out of sight, I recorded the other two, and the on that appeared after, and the seemingly disappeared. They moved at a planes speed, but I have never seen this color light, and they disappeared. One moved towards the other, and then away. I am in shock.. 28 married maled, maintenance man.

Watched a distant light that I thought at first was a high flying aircraft. It was making a jagged flight path and flashing a red, green, white, and yellow light at a very high rate. The light finally straightened out and flew over the roof line of the house. I didn't think too much of it until the light reversed its course and flew backwards along its same path flashing more intensely as it did so. The light then stopped in its bath then moved forward again back over the roof line at a much higher speed and disappeared over the roof line.

My mother pointed towards the north telling me to look at the sky. When I looked, I saw a solid orange light that was moving from west to east. It was bright, but didn't appear to have any other colored lights. The object slowed down to almost a hover, turned to the north and quickly disappeared. For my mother, this was her first time seeing anything like this. This is not the first time I've seen this light though. I have seen this same kind of light about half a dozen times now over the past year, even though I have moved about 40 miles away. They always appear between evening and dusk, and it's always just 1. There has never been any sound with them, and they appear to make a 90 degree turn and disappear quickly. The speed varies from fast to almost a hover, but every time they turn, they speed off.

Three amber colored lights floated around each other with an irregular pulsating of bright and dim light. No sound and traveled faster than a plane that flew through them. They were hovering around and just disappeared without defending to the ground.

The white light stayed in one spot and seemed almost as though it may have been moving around ever so slightly in its little area. Couldn't tell if it actually was or if it was our eyes playing tricks on us. After I researched that you can't see stars during the day we looked back up in the sky and saw that it was gone. My husband then reported he saw one flash in the same area. After that we didn't see it anymore.

Doing my usual star-gazing this morning, I saw what looked like a star heading West to East. It did not fly in a straight line, but had the erratic movement that I'm used to see in these things now. Reminds me of a drunk trying to get somewhere fast. It was a about as bright as a star, smaller than Jupiter, and the light was steady. No contrail. Definitely not a meteor. It crossed the entire sky and must've been really high, as it faded out of sight after a couple of minutes for a few seconds, and then came back into view for 20 seconds or so before fading out for good. There were no other lights, nothing blinking, and there was no noise accompanying it. Within 10 seconds or so after that disappeared, I heard what I though was a helicopter coming from where that light had originated, and looked back Northwest to where the light had come from, only to see an even bigger light moving even faster, bearing southwest this time. At first I thought it was a helicopter, but the sound accompanying it faded out while the light kept moving. I then thought it might be the ISS, and it turned out it was. I was able to verify that it had just passed over when I came back inside using the tracker site. I watched the ISS speed away, and immediately saw a third light directly above me, heading straight South. This one was smaller than the first, and I pegged it as a satellite because it had the usual dim steady light and relatively slow straight movement compared to the first light.

It was a bright light that went horizontal thru the sky from east to west. It appeared to be an aircraft flare our meteorite. It was extremely bright, with cold or yellow, red, white, and a little blue. Separated to be very hot and disintegrated before reaching the ground.

My cousin and I were on top of a mountain we climbed to watch the sunset. We were looking out over the ocean which over looks Texada Island and Vancouver Island. We both noticed just over Texada there appeared to be a bright orange ball in the sky. It never dropped height, it just stayed in one place and got brighter and brighter and bigger with a bit of pulsation to it. After speculation of what it could be, we both felt very unpleasant, like some kind of unnatural phenomena was right in front of us. This light stayed for about 45 seconds growing in light, it appeared like it was coming straight at us because of how the light was getting bigger and bigger until it just vanished into thin air, leaving a sparkly humid looking, very small contrail, which was most definitely not from a meteor. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he seemed to us to be quite responsible sounding, and sober minded. We suspect that the witness is a capable observer, and a reliable source of information. PD

I was having a smoke out the window, which faces east, and I noticed a moving star. At first I thought it was a satellite; I could see it moving behind the spotty cloud cover at a steady pace. But then it changed direction very suddenly. In my field of vision it had been moving right to left, angled slightly downward, but then it swooped a bit before traveling up. After this it seemed to move in short spurts, and from the curve of travel seemed to be headed my way. The pace seemed to even out as it neared Cassiopeia, vaguely towards the Big Dipper and soon out of sight, the exit path less than 90 degrees above where it was coming from when I saw it. It was definitely faster than a plane. It was giving me the creeps because it didn't fit with what I knew, so I went to turn on the computer (and make sure my shit was locked up) to reassure myself that it was a satellite. It was still gone when I checked a half hour later. It just looked like a normal star or satellite of medium brightness, but searching for moving stars isn't turning up anything but "it's a UFO", so here I am.
