I was driving south on Hwy. 11 at 3:27 am about 10 km north of New Liskard, Ontario, when a sudden flash of light almost like a camera flash came from the sky when I looked up through the top part of the windshield I noticed a light that looked like a star only 4 or 5 times bigger and 10 or 20 times brighter it stayed in the same spot for about 20 or 30 seconds and the excellerated almost straight up and got smaller and dimmer and completely disappeared within about half to a full second. The Sirius radio had also lost its signal during the time that the light was visible.

At first i thought it was fog lights or landing lights Frome a plan but as it approched. It kept getting brighter. As it passed over my house it never had sound at all . I even waited after it was done passed to see if i could Hear any sound (assuming it was a jet travling faster then sound ) but never heard anything. Then a few mins later It returned stopped and hovered then just faded away .

Object seen: An object 5-15 miles to the south west from our current location, above the mountain skyline. It perceptibly had the same size and shape as an ordinary star, was not twinkling, and was brighter. There was clearly some kind of field or energy emanating from the object, my best description being an electric smoky haze. What it did: At first I thought it was a planet, until my girlfriend and I confirmed to each other that it was darting in random directions (few hundred feet?) within the area in the sky it was spotted. Each time it darted we would correctly confirm the direction to each other. It would also pause and very slightly contract and expand (this would excite the very slight field/haze surrounding it) Shape and Color: Craft: - Yellow - Star shaped (a small bright light) - No twinkling Being: - Translucent - Appeared like a cephalopod. Single source of bluish-white light in the “head” region. A being captured on video: I turned on my iPhone 4 to try to attempt to capture this object in the sky. The phone defaulted to the rear-facing self-portrait (facing behind us). Before switching it to the forward camera, I noticed something coming in to view from behind a retaining wall. It was a translucent, floating being. I turned my head to see the creature behind me, but there was nothing visible. Turning back to the camera, the creature remained on screen. I held the camera on the creature until its body language displayed that it noticed us watching it via the camera. The creature then swiftly vanished upwardly. Witnesses/Observers: College graduate couple who had recently moved to LA. We tended to be skeptical of such phenomena. This evening we both had consumed one alcoholic beverage each by this time. Approximately 2300 On 21 June, 2014, I was standing in the parking lot of my residence, looking south toward Philadelphia. City line is about 3 miles from me. My home is about 300 yards from the Delaware river. I noticed some very odd, orange, vaguely flickering lights, traveling roughly SE to NW. They appeared to be between 500 to 1,000 feet above me moving at about the speed a small, single engine private airplane might be at cruise. They made no sound that I could hear, and that area is relatively quiet at that time on a Saturday night. They were not equadistant from each other, and some would fall back, then catch up with the one in front again. Gaps in the line of objects were not constant, and there were even some stragglers way in back of the main 7 or 8 objects. I watched untill I could no longer see them because of the buildings and trees nearby. The weather was very clear and cool, I would say near 70 degrees. Maybe a light breeze. A man driving by had stopped to ask directions had also seen them, and remarked that they looked like "Chinese lanterns." I thought that these things appeared to be operated by something other than a candle and hot air. They were acting like they were being piloted.

I was outside my house on the patio having a cigarette and noticed that there was no moon in the sky so I could see many more stars in the night sky than usual. While observing the stars, I noticed a bright light in the SW part of the sky moving. I first thought it was a typical airplane or helicopter, but there weren't any red/green lights or any sound. Then I thought it may be a meteor, but it was moving way to slow. While it was travelling roughly the same speed as a typical aircraft, I knew that it couldn't be one. (Growing up in the area near the Buffalo/Niagara airport, I am very aware of all the aircraft coming in and out of the airspace in the area) This was no typical aircraft. The light moved from the WSW to ENE night sky for about 3 mins before it simply vanished. Very strange.

Went outside for some fresh air. I always look straight up to the night sky as this was an exceptionally clear night when I spotted an unusually bright light seen to the East/SE. This was brighter than the North Star, but drifting to the SE. No navigational lights were observed-extremely bright light larger than the North Star. After observing for about 5 seconds, the object changed in scale and quality as if it was ascending(becoming smaller). The bright light transitioned in to a smaller point turning red. The observation ended when what was left of the object took a dramatic change in direction. It had appeared to ascend sharply in to the sky like a "J" shape hooking in to space with very great speed. A small very faint light trail of it's trajectory was left for a fraction of a second during these last moments. The speed was the most fantastic characteristic of the observation.

My wife and I walked out onto the front porch, which faces due west. I noticed a light in the sky that was familiar to myself, but my wife had been previously unacquainted. I pointed it out to her, and told her that it was likely to vanish, which it did, almost as if it did so in reaction to my expectation that it would. The following evening, at a friend's house, on yet another front porch, this one facing due east, a similar light, pointed out in similar fashion, to yet another witness, reacted in kind, again, as soon as I indicated that it was likely to vanish. The following evening, again on my front porch, the same kind of light was to the south. In this instance, the light behaved according to what appears to be normal, but after it faded to black, it reappeared, considerably brighter, and much further along in it's trek than it's speed while previously visible would have allowed. It was almost as though it jumped across the sky, after which, it went b! ack to its predisposed M.O. and continued to the northeast. I have been witnessing this phenomena for better than a decade, intermittently though it might be. What was once merely the possibility that I was either crazy, or actually witnessing things that are exceedingly difficult to explain, is now somewhat substantiated, as I am no longer alone in my experience.

At 2147 hrs. on June 21, 2014, I observed what appeared to be a lit object with no blinking lights at an altitude lower than many commercial airlines normally fly at. It was brighter than any “satelites” I normally see in the night sky. It was heading in a straight East-South east path.

From a patio in a suburban neighborhood, the primary witness observed a small, bright red light rising from the horizon in the WSW direction. The direction corresponded approximately with that regularly observed for commercial airlines/cargo aircraft on approach to MDW or ORD. The light approached from WSW, heading NE at an apparent velocity at least 4-5 times the apparent velocity of a typical commercial aircraft seen on approach from that direction. At first, the primary witness considered that the light was a low aircraft without standard landing or navigational illumination. There seemed to be a faint hiss from the light as it approached. As it reached between 30 and 45 degrees in elevation above the horizon, the light instantly decreased in apparent velocity and changed heading N. The light then continued on at the reduced velocity until it reached a position to the NW of the observation position (still at similar angle of elevation) and appeared ! to hover. As the light began to hover, the witness observed two more identical lights in close formation with each other follow the same approach and pattern at similar velocity. The faint hissing sound also seemed to emanate from these. As the pair of lights approached the apparent waypoint for change to a N heading, the witness observed a commercial aircraft at typical approach altitude from the SSE, flying directly overhead, presumably on approach to MDW, and with standard landing and navigation lights. This commercial aircraft should have had clear observation of the pair of lights, and likely the fourth light. The dull roar of the commercial aircraft was clearly audible and was vastly different than the faint sound heard from the lights by the primary witness. The witness also noticed that the first light had apparently disappeared as the pair of lights progressed along the same N heading. As the pair of lights began to hover in the same NW location as the first light had, ! a fourth light appeared from the same location along the horizon, proceeded along the same route, and at similar velocity to the first three. At this point, the primary witness called a second witness from the residence to confirm what was being observed. The second witness observed the two lights in formation appear to hover in the same location that the primary witness had observed the first light hover. The secondary witness did not observe the entire approach of the fourth light from the horizon, but did observe its change in heading to follow the pair of lights N. Both observers witnessed the pair of lights either reduce in illumination, or proceed at increased velocity N, until they disappeared. The secondary witness returned to the inside of the residence as the fourth light progressed along the path N. The primary witness then observed the fourth light appear to hover in the same location as the first light and the pair of lights had hovered. For 1-2 minutes, the light seemingly hovered in place, with slight random movement. After hovering, the light began to diminish as the pair had, again either e! xtinguishing or moving off at rapid velocity directly away from the observer, to the N. The witness also observed another, presumably commercial (based on apparent landing and navigation lights), aircraft in the distance. This second commercial aircraft appeared in the NNW and appeared to be following an E heading, possibly on approach to ORD. From the point of observation, this aircraft and the fourth light appeared to have intersecting paths. As the fourth light faded from view completely, there was approximately 3-5 degrees of angle between it and the commercial aircraft, with the commercial aircraft still to the W of the fourth light. For approximately 5 minutes following the event, the primary witness continued to scan for additional lights, but none appeared. As the fourth light was moving off to the N, a third commercial aircraft appeared on the horizon from the same location as the four lights, to the WSW of the observation position. At the closest approach (as each light changed heading N), the red lights appeared in size equal to landing lights on a commercial aircraft at standard to low approach. The red lights did not blink and no strobe or steady lights of any color appeared to accompany the lights. The intensities (though not the color) of the lights were similar to a commercial aircraft landing light on low approach and did not appreciably vary, except with distance as they approached from the WSW and appeared to depart to the N. The primary witness wears prescription eyeglasses for distance correction and had them on for the entire event. The secondary witness wears contact lenses for distance correction and had them in for the entire event. The secondary witness did not indicate noticing the faint hissing sound with any of the lights that the primary witness heard. Neither witness was under the influence of an intoxicant during the event. Over the course of the event, the primary witness observed cloud-to-cloud lightning strokes at altitude far to the SSW. The distance was great enough that thunder did not perceptibly report at the observation location from the strokes. Fireworks had been launched in the vicinity of the observation location during the course of the evening, though the primary witness does not recall hearing the report of mortars at any time during the event and each of the lights lasted far longer than any pyrotechnic device the primary and secondary witnesses have previously! observed and did not wax or wane appreciably in intensity. There is no doubt by the primary and secondary witnesses that the lights were some type of aircraft, and not a pyrotechnic effect. In contrast to standard aircraft, the lights displayed the ability to move at high velocity and make rapid changes in velocity. The ability to, apparently, hover is not common among fixed-wing aircraft, yet the apparent velocity seemed to the primary witness to be too great for a rotor aircraft. If the lights were at low altitude (to explain the high velocity from the horizon), they did not emit a loud noise as would be expected from a rotor or fixed-wing aircraft. The primary and secondary witnesses are familiar with military helicopters that operate periodically in the local airspace. These aircraft (Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawks) have always been readily audible both during the day and at night. If the lights were aircraft with STOL/VTOL capabilities, they did not emit the expected sound of a jet turbine engine.

I thought at first it was an f16 or an f18, but there was no trail behind it, appeared for about 14 seconds and then disappeared. We spoke with the witness, and he reported that the light was distinctly yellow in color. PD

I was driving home through a residential neighbourhood about 9pm. I looked up and saw 4 lights: they were orange on top, silver in the middle, red on the bottom. I thought at first they were lights in the distance, i.e. warning lights for aircraft, or something similiar, as they seemed to be the equivalant in size, but then realized that these lights were much more near to me. I began to detour in order to get closer to them, and possibly more concretely discern what exactly they were. I zigzagged down the residential streets, keeping my eye on the lights as much as I could...but by the time I came out on a major thoroughfare, they had disappeared. I even went back and totally drove the route again, but there was nothing.

I am a truck driver of 28 years, 24 of which is over night driving. I'm used to seeing drones and stealth craft while traveling near Edwards AFB. This blew my mind. While traveling east on highway 138 near Pearblossom Ca at 5:10 a.m., I noticed about 20 degrees to the south of what I believe is Venus in the early morning sky a very bright strobing light. At first I thought it was an aircraft strobe but all at once a strobe of light shot about 1/4 of the way to the earth followed by several others at incosistent intervals. I pulled to the side of the road and watched for about 10 minutes. Above the strobe was an object in the sky that did not seem to be connected to the strobe and did not seem to move side to side or up and down but appeared to be moving further away until th object could no longer be seen. I could not tell how far away the strobe was, maybe a couple miles, maybe 20. There was nothing to relate it to in the sky. The strobe turned to a steady dot of light for a few minutes before starting to strobe again and then stopped and disappeared. I waited another minute or two and then there was one final strobe of light about twice as bright as Venus. It made me jump and was not seen again. What did I see!

A small single red colored light moved accross the sky from almost due north to due south. It was a solid light, never flashed or changed intensity. It looked to be 30k to 50k feet up and made absolutely no sound. Could have been a go fast jet with after burner, but it was a very silent night I would have heard something. Initially thought it was a meteor, but it never stopped burning. It just kept going till I lost site. No contrail either so altitude could have been much lower. Pretty cool stuff. White to orange color. Thought it was a satellite until it got brighter and then disappeared. It kept doing this as it traveled north east for a few minutes until it was behind houses/trees. I've lived under the flight path for almost my whole life. As a kid I always watched planes (as well as catching lightening bugs out back) I know it wasn't either of those.

At about 10:30 pm I went out with one of my dogs on our front porch. Looking to the North (across the street)I saw a bright red, constant, light. The light was just above the house across the street and appeared to be getting closer. It appeared to be heading pretty much South with a few degrees to the east. This was not an airplane or helicopter! I quickly went in and got my wife to witness this. She also saw this bright light. Just before it was directly overhead it faded and took about one full minute to fade out of sight. It almost appeared to fade due to the light source possibly being at an increasing angle to us, much like a passing cars headlights. I have seen an orange light during the daytime a few months ago and told my wife about it.

Spotted what I initially believed to be a comet. It moved across the sky fairly slowly. Round orange object with what seemed like a concave distortion on the front side. Moved slowly skating side to side but maintaining a heading. Then it turned 90° to the right flew straight for a distance then turned back about 80° and continued on.

We were outside sitting in my driveway looking at the stars and we all looked up and saw a very bright, almost flashing, light. It was there for about 10 minutes and then we looked away for about 2 minutes and when we looked back it was completely gone. On June 19, 2014, from 10:45 pm-11:00pm, my husband and I witnessed two lighted objects in the sky that were very close together. The objects caught our attention because they were very close to each other, had lights that resembled airplanes, and were moving very fast. They were moving from east to west in the sky. The first lighted object, which was in front, had white lights. The second lighted object had red, green, and white lights, that were bright and constantly blinking. The second lighted object caught up to the first and for a couple of seconds they appeared to be one lighted object. Then, the white-lighted object appeared to fall from the sky and we lost sight of it behind the trees. The brighter blinking object immediately reversed its direction and headed away to the northwest. We watched this object until we could no longer see it. This was the most unusual thing we have ever witnessed and I am compelled to report the event. My husband is a surgeon and I am a homemaker. We are in our mid 50’s.

seemed like they were launched into the Western sky. First one, with glowing orange lights (no sound) it moved a little to the right then started to move straight up into the sky. Then the second one appeared, then the third. They were all moving very slowly - straight up. Then they disappeared one by one in the order they appeared. I'm not sure if there are any US bases located here in mid-florida. This is actually the second time I've seen this. The first time was in April 2014 and there were about 20 lights, all behaving the same way. Source of report indicates that the date is approximate. PD
