I would say it was a thick line of light, pretty high in the sky & a little longer than the moons diameter. It was unmistakably red. It was a cloudy night but it was bright enough to shine through.. The way the red light shown was strange. It didn’t flash, but it was almost like the way something reflecting fire would look, the way the shadows moved in an unpredictable, wavy sort of way. I stared at it for about 5 min and thought it wasn’t moving at all. I went inside to do something for a few minutes. When I came back out, it had moved from the East, a little farther North. It started raining while I was looking at it and it disappeared - I assumed because a thicker cloud was covering it. I looked outside a few minutes later, but couldn’t find it again. It was big/bright enough to appear on camera when I took a picture but you can’t tell its shape.

We were driving south on I-5 headed home about ready to get off on exit 218 in Conway. My daughter Olivia who was 10 at the time used my phone to take a picture of the clouds to the east of us. She thought they looked cool and wanted a picture of them. When we looked at the picture she saw an image of what looked like a UFO or some kind of object in the air that was the same color as the clouds. When she alerted us, we all looked to the sky but could not see it, we could only see it in the picture. If it has a pattern on the outside almost circular or hexagons. It also seems to have a fin on the back. It’s oval in shape with a pointed end. My brother called the hotline today 8/2/22 about this event.

At approximately 21:00 hours on February 26, 2019, my husband and I were on the way home from dinner in the nearby town of Farmville. We were driving southbound on route 696 (Green Bay Road) when we spotted a large oval shaped, bright blue object in the sky. In a matter of seconds, the object descended into the tree line at a very high rate of speed near Leigh Mountain Road where several cell phone / radio towers are located. My husband and I remarked, “Did you see that?” and “What was that?” at the same moment. Because of the object’s speedy descent, my husband (a law enforcement officer with thirteen years of experience) remarked it looked like an aerial vehicle crashing. Upon reaching our home about ten minutes later, my husband checked his radio for traffic about a crashed vehicle. There was no radio traffic concerning any downed aircraft. My husband lived by Oceana and the Naval Base in Norfolk, VA, for 30 years and never saw any military craft resembling what we saw tonight. Because of the short duration of our sighting, estimates on distance and size are difficult to say.

6 of us went to dinner, I took 3 photos of outdoor area and pictures had 2 crafts in each of those pictures in different locations within those frames. Did not see during actual picture taking. They appeared oval shape having moved in tandem in each of the 3 pictures. Seemed to be glowing with a brighter oval glow on top of each.

Un témoin lors des nuits des 15 au 16 et du 18 au 19 février 2019 observe depuis le premier étage de sa maison un phénomène lumineux, semblant statique dans le ciel et à faible hauteur angulaire. Le PAN est observé à chaque fois près d'une heure, de façon discontinue. Le témoin a réalisé deux clichés permettant l'identification du phénomène. Il décrit le PAN comme une grosse étoile plus lumineuse que celle de son environnement et qui semble suivre une trajectoire en courbe allant vers la droite et en descendant. Un seul témoignage est recueilli. Le témoin note la présence d’une lumière bleue par moment, c’est une aberration chromatique (voir le compte rendu d'enquête). Quelques photos sont prises, images qui montrent des points de repères permettant l’identification du phénomène comme étant Sirius (Alpha Canis Majoris) qui est l’étoile principale de la constellation du Grand Chien. Notons que cette étoile est l’étoile la plus brillante du ciel après le Soleil. L’ensemble des données disponibles et analysable confirme la confusion avec l’étoile Sirius. Ce cas est à classer en « A» : confusion astronomique avec l’étoile remarquable Sirius. [GEIPAN classification A — Sirius]

Dear Peter, Let me start by saying that I am a Coast-2-Coast Insider and value the work you do immensely. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication. I have had two UFO sightings in my lifetime. Being a former Law Enforcement Intelligence Analyst, I can appreciate you wanting the facts as clear and concise as possible. The latest incident just recently took place, so I will give this information first. The second sighting took place in the 90’s within a quarter of a mile from this latest one. I will send that information separately… February 8, 2019: While traveling northeast on Route 126 (Sabattus Street) headed home from picking up take-out, I noticed a large gray/black stream of what appeared to be smoke in the sky from a distance. (Maybe ¾ of a mile away.) As I crested Steven’s Hill, I could clearly see that the smoke trail included a huge, orange fireball passing over Sabattus Mountain off to my left, which I couldn’t see from the bottom of the hill. My first thought was that an airplane was engulfed in flames, but the orange ball was not dropping in the sky as would be expected. My second thought was a meteor of some type, as it streaked across the sky, but in a much, much slower motion. The object was heading south-east only slightly dropping in altitude. The evening was clear with blue sky and the sun setting behind me as I drove toward the object. Several vehicles before me could (obviously) see the same object that I was seeing, as some pulled over and/or slowed down. I quickly passed these vehicles to see if I could get a better view of the object. My house is not far from the location that it was heading towards. (Within a mile.) As I passed the lake, I tried to get my (cell phone) video activated, but I could not keep an eye on the object and record while driving at the same time. I immediately called my sister (who lives next door to me) to look outside, but she did not answer her phone. Once I passed by Sabattus Lake (on my left), I could clearly see the object in front of me, starting to move towards my right. The area is rural and while Route 126 is a main road, traffic only travels at 45-50 mph within that stretch. When I approached my road on the right, I could see the orange ball burn out as the object started slowing down, almost as if it came to a stop and leveled out. It hovered in place for the better part of 30-45 seconds and no longer had a trail of smoke behind it. I immediately pulled over and threw my car in park! The object was a gray elongated, oval shaped craft of some sort. No wings, like an airplane. Way too long to be a helicopter and I saw no propellers or movement of any sort. On estimate I would say possibly the size of a football field and shiny metallic. It was still too high to see any clear small characteristics such as windows and/or doors. All I could see was a huge metallic form hovering above the field. There were no lights visible. I will say that I drive with my eyeglasses on, so I was looking at the object/craft with 20/20 vision. When I had pulled over, several other vehicles were doing the same (on both sides of the road). I once again grabbed my phone to take a video, but I didn’t want to look away for fear that I would miss something! A car that pulled in behind me had a man jumping out of the driver’s seat, yelling at a female in the passenger seat to get her phone and take a video. I was trying to do the same, but I couldn’t open my camera fast enough. With my window unrolled, I can only estimate that it hovered about the level that our Life Flight helicopter flies by at. (Slightly above tree-top level.) It was less than ¼ of a mile away from me, hovering what seemed like forever until it tipped upward slightly on the right and took off diagonally. It went fast to the right, stopped and then straight up and disappeared from sight. I was in awe! When I looked around at the other vehicles across the road from me, people were still looking and searching the sky. I drove off leaving roughly 6-10 other vehicles still on the side of the road. With all that said, I will say that the past two weeks have been very eventful in the skies around here. We have a hot tub and go out nightly, under the stars. We have had more helicopters and low-flying planes in this area (nightly) than EVER in the past 45 years that I’ve lived here. There was a report on the evening news saying that all the helicopters/aircraft were here for a “training mission”, but I don’t buy it! There were too many people that saw the craft that I saw. It’s too coincidental to now have them conduct a “mid-winter training” in our rural area after such an event. Something is out there and it was clearly in trouble, but somehow it corrected itself, extinguished itself, even, and took off again. I can’t explain it, but I do know that there have been several sightings around Sabattus Mountain over the years. I will try to find some of the newspaper articles and send them your way! I also believe I witnessed possibly the same sighting on 1-24-19 at 6:45 P.M from the Golden Gate Bridge toll Plaza as someone reported from Oakland. A huge yellow light was seen near the SF downtown skyline at exactly 6:45 to 6;50 P.M. No one else at the bus stop or tourists or anyone else seemed to be noticing this huge hovering light and a second object appeared briefly and then they just winked out like someone turning off a light switch.

Le 03 février 2019 en fin de matinée, un témoin en balade à travers champ observe une masse grise ressemblant à un petit nuage sous la couverture nuageuse. Ce « petit nuage » avance très vite malgré le faible vent. Ce qui interpelle le témoin c'est que brusquement le PAN change d’altitude jusqu'à disparaître dans les nuages puis effectue des évolutions avant de disparaître sur une trajectoire descendante. A l’œil nu, cela laisse une trace ressemblant à de la pluie qui tombe au loin pendant environ 3 secondes avant de disparaître. Le témoin aura eu le temps de filmer avec son téléphone portable. Un seul témoignage sera recueilli. L’observation présente plusieurs étrangetés apparentes : changement de forme finale, trajectoire non linéaire, entrée dans les nuages, plongée vers le sol, silence. Toutefois, la forme du PAN, son aspect sombre, sa trajectoire et sa plongée finale vers le sol évoquent fortement l’hypothèse explicative d’une nuée d’oiseaux en vol, qui confirme tous les aspects de l’observation (voir le compte rendu d'enquête). Le passage de quelques secondes du PAN dans les nuages n’a rien d’exceptionnel, dans la mesure où le plafond bas des nuages était de l’ordre de 500 mètres seulement au-dessus du sol. Il est donc très vraisemblable qu’une nuée d’oiseaux (en particulier des étourneaux) soit passée juste sous les nuages, avant de plonger vers le sol à la vue d’une source de nourriture ou de repos. Le GEIPAN classe ce cas en «A», comme observation très fortement probable d’une nuée d’oiseaux en vol. [GEIPAN classification A — Oiseau]

I recently began experimenting with my new camera. A powerful Nikon P900 camera which has an incredible 83X zoom. I just got it back from having it converted to full spectrum. So it will record in infrared and UV. I installed a 665nm IR pass filter with a MC/UV filter. I was in my backyard in the Mid-Cities, Texas, area and had pointed towards a plane flying overhead. It was on autofocus and my tripod was in the house. Once I lost sight of the plane behind the trees I scanned through the vapor trail which curiously looked like a chem trail. I was fumbling with the camera hoping to get it to focus when I caught a flash of light. I then zoomed in on the light and it came into focus a few times. I videoed for approx 5 minutes. I kept losing the object without the tripod so I made the decision to enter the house to retrieve it and come back out to film. In my excitement I never restarted recording!!!!!!! And dang it, I had it zoomed in and in frame and steady! But I never hit record. The video I do have is fairly compelling. You can tell it’s not anything like a standard flying craft we’re familiar with. It had a field around it and sometimes looked like a hamburger on it’s edge! Like a patty in the middle of two pieces of bread. Very strange. The time was approximately 5:45 PM Jan 27th, 2019. If you review the footage you can skip ahead to five minutes where I slowed the footage down. Peter, it pulsates. It’s very obvious. I just had to share it with you. I’m a regular listener to Coast to Coast and love what you add. I bought this camera for this purpose and if I captured this so randomly I imagine I will have more and better footage to produce in the future. I grabbed my binoculars and when I looked at them they had very bright, but blurry white lights around them. However, when I looked up at them without the binoculars they didn’t seem to have the same bright lights at all, just enough reflection to see their shape. If I had to guess their altitude, I would say 3500-5000ft. and a few hundred feet apart from each other. But I could be wrong since I didn’t know what I was looking at or what their relative size was. I’m an avid planes potter and usually watch planes through my binoculars. Planes that leave JFK or Newark are usually at 10,000-13,000ft. Incoming planes to White Plains airport, are usually 1800-2500ft, but much smaller jets. These UFO’s were in the same sky where I watch all the planes pass by, however according to my planefinder app, there were no planes over my place when I saw these objects. They made no noise and flew out of sight within 30 seconds, which makes me believe they were small. A regular jet, on a clear night, would stay in sight for a few mins.

Last night, my daughter, my grandson, and I witnessed many type of aircraft. They were like giant drones, with lights all around. The way they were flying it was not a plane. Two of them were very close to land and stationary. It was very scary and they were many of them over the intersection of Maltby Road SE and 35th Ave SE. Also in the intersection of Everett Hwy and Maltby Road SE. I called 911 but they send me to report this to the FAA. I could not find anyone to answer the phone. These type of aircraft is totally unidentifiable and looks that is not from here. The scary part of it is that they were many of them. Why is our government doing something about it? This is not a joke and many of us citizens have seeing these aircraft many times. My daughter was one time followed by one of them and she just drove as fast as she could. This happened around midnight in 35th Ave SE, Bothell…

On Jan 10, 2019. 20 miles off the coast of Florida, near the F.t Lauderdale airport. Myself and my coworker saw a UFO about 3 miles off the port bow. It did not show up on radar. Amazingly, I got to see it with binoculars. It was approx 30 to 40 feet tall and 20-ish wide. Ovalish in shape. With red and white alternating colors on its hull. I saw it descend, rise, and hover. Then move out of range from a large object to a pin prick and gone in less than a second. Anything moving that fast couldn't possibly be manned.

Wasn’t falling wasn’t moving just sitting perfectly still in the sky. Dull silver, no sound just sitting. Was driving back with my family in the van. All of us saw it headed north bound. This report is a single event involving this UFO. I do not think it is extraterrestrial. I think it is man made. I have viewed this object multiple, multiple times in the past 3 months or longer. I can view it during any night when the sky is clear. For the past 3-4 months I noticed a star in the sky, first to the SW of my property and now to the SE of it. The object appears to be a star, but it is too bright to be one. I investigated a website that gives the minute-by-minute location of the planets in our solar system and the night of this sighting only three of the planets were visible at the time of my sighting, and all three were located to the North of my location. In the opposite direction of the star as I observed it. I took multiple photos of it and some video clips. I used a Canon PC-2200 camera with a 50X zoom. When zoomed to 50X the object can cover the entire viewing area of the camera. The object is oval or relatively round. It does not have the appearance of any of the planets in our solar system. And I believe it is too large in the viewing area of the camera to be a star. I also observed this object and pursued it early one morning between 3 AM and 7 AM. My thinking was as I approached the object its angle from my position would increase if it was at a relatively low altitude, one a star or planet could not be found at. The closer I would get, the larger the angle would become. If that makes sense. I was not able to make a determination that morning. I drove about 25 miles to a nearby town in the course of my driving. I watched the object from my truck while I drove. It was a very clear night with very high cirrus clouds. After driving about 18 miles the object began to grow small and dimmer and disappeared when it went thru the cirrus clouds. I stopped my truck, got out and viewed the entire sky for about 3 minutes. The star was gone. So, I terminated my trip and turned around to return home. About 5 miles down the road is a small town with a pizza restaurant I frequent. I decided to pull into its parking lot and take a look to see if the star was not there. It was there, clearly. So, I proceeded along my original path until I was about 25 miles from my home. I did not notice a discernible change in the angle of the star from the ground, and concluded it probably was not within 50 miles of me, maybe more. I stopped at a Walmart to buy something. When I returned to my truck I remembered I had a pair of binoculars in it. I took them out and viewed the object. I will describe this object not as an oval but more like a fat football. The binoculars have a power of about 10X or 12X. The object took up about 50% of the viewable area of the lens. That suggested to me the object must be relatively close, a location far too close to have been a star or a planet. The object consisted of chambers that appeared something like the cells of a honey comb but they were shorter and more blunt. They and the object, star, all appeared to pulsate very slightly. The object had 3 black spots and what I can only describe as a smile. The cross section of a smile. It too was black. The object rotated as 2 of the 3 black spots disappeared as did the mouth. In the course of about 15 minutes the 2 missing black spots reappeared. The mouth did not reappear. I left and went home. I have not seen that object again. Almost every night the star/orb appears to the SE of my property. Some nights it seems to move across the sky like a star or planet. But the majority of nights it does not. I view it between 23:00 PM and 24:00 PM and then against at 5 or 6 Am and its in the same general location. This object starts the evening out at a very high altitude. During the night it descends to an altitude where it appears like the Star of Bethlehem in many Nativity photos. Relatively big and with 4 points to the naked eye. Again, I have seen this star in the sky almost every night for 3 months, maybe longer. I ignored it for a month or more, though it did not appear to be a star or planet to me. I don't think it can be either one for several reasons detailed above. That's a synopsis of what I have witnessed from my residence for over 3 months. The objects I have seen do not behave like those described in most UFO reports, darting, high speed turns, etc. This star(s) is relatively stationary, and the only speed it ever demonstrated was the morning it ascended and disappeared into the cirrus cloud during the trip I described above. I have other witnesses to this star(s). Very Best Wishes
