Was a very bright reddish/orange color, that just seemed to float there and slowly flickered out. It was in the SW sky, at 9pm (est). Totally clear night no clouds, and this thing was awesome! By the time i pulled over and got camera out it flickered out.

At approximately 23:31 on Friday, August 22, 2014, I was sky gazing from my balcony, four stories high. I spotted four, large, round, pale green lights in a diamond or cross formation in the relative positions of 2, 5, 8 and 11 o'clock. The lights were equally spaced from each other and were clearly visible over the downtown skyline of Calgary. All four lights travelled together at the same rate of speed as if they were tethered by an invisible thread. The speed was comparable to that of a slow moving traffic helicopter which I see daily. When I first saw the formation, it travelled horizontally from the west and steadily moved east - southeast, toward the main runway flight path (which runs in a North - South direction) of the Calgary Airport Authority. Upon entering this area of air space, the four lights very suddenly and without hesitation, shot upward at approximately a 45° angle to the left (which could have been eastward), then disappeared without a trace or remnant of light. The event lasted six seconds. The sky was overcast with possibly some light rain throughout the city, however, no weather anomalies in my area that obstructed my view.

My friend and I were reclining on the deck at my house on a bluff above Puget Sound 4 miles north of downtown Edmonds, Washington. We were watching the stars and pointing things out to each other. At close to 11:00 PM, I noted what I thought was a satellite traversing the sky from south to north, so I got my friend on it. It began fading and jumping to the left and back to the right again. It would fade then reappear to the left or right – bright as it flashed back on. Knowing that eyes can make far objects appear to move, we were crosschecking our observations with each other. The path also changed while it was jumping – it took a long hook as it went from south – north to east - west. We were both taken back by what we saw. This was a very high altitude event – it certainly could be compared to a satellite in terms of brightness and altitude. My friend is an engineer and a pilot – he was adamant about me not mentioning his name. I have never seen one before t! hat had that jerky zig - zag motion. The sighting was probably 1-2 minutes long. The speed of the object was comparable to a satellite. It traversed about a 30 degree arc. When first sighted it was about 45 degrees up from horizontal. After about 20 seconds of these left to right to left jumping motions it simply faded out. At that point it was straight out in front of us – still at about 45 degrees from horizontal.

Approaching midnight of August 22, 2014, my fiancé and I were walking down the street towards our home after getting a late night snack. We were nearing our house so I reached in my pocket to get my house keys. I raised my keys up above my head so the street light would allow me to easily identify my deadbolt key. It was at this time that I noticed an orange light high in the sky to the north. It appeared to be moving steadily from west to east with an even glow. I asked my fiancé to look up at the light and she easily found it as it was the only light in the sky. We continued to watch this light source move for the next few moments, all the while I kept expecting to see some sort of navigation light (red/green strobes) but it remained consistently orange. For about ten (10) seconds we watched this strange light until it abruptly disappeared. There were no sounds present at this time. The weather that evening was overcast with thunderstorms in the area but a! t this time there was no precipitation or lightning present. I have completed two college-level astronomy classes with dozens of nighttime viewing hours and I haven’t seen any aircraft, satellite, or celestial body quite like this. This experience gave me chills because it just simply did not show any signs of being anything that I have witnessed in the past.

Two of the objects flying a lower speed and for a moment seem to get static. Flying at low airspeed and at some point a clearing and finished light intensity but able to see it was a rounded craft seen even after light was turned off. Video taken with a phone.

On. August 29 2014 I spotted a very bright light in the sky. It was just above some thin low clouds to the south west of Colorado springs by NORAD. The bright object stopped behind in some low clouds heading east, to start between I/25 and hwy 85/87. After about 15 seconds behind the cloud then went east just enough that I could see it. An airplane coming the same path confirmed that it was intact a UFO. The star like object then flashed an extremely bright light before shooting to the north at an astounding speed. This is not the first one I have screen in this area and I wonder when some truth will come. I see it. Don't u? Both time and date in the original report were flawed. We have amended both above. Possible hoaxed report?? PD

I stepped outside upon returning to my home near the University of Memphis, lit a cigarette, and looked into the sky, a habit of mine since I have always been interested in astronomy. The sky was clear, dark, and surprisingly, for a Friday night. I could see an unusual amount of stars. But one light, which appeared to be a star was moving across the sky slowly, but fast enough to recognize it was indeed moving. I stared at it, looked around, walked onto the street to get a better view, and looked up again. It was still hovering, at a fairly consistent speed headed southeast from my vantage point. I pulled out my phone to take a video, but I could not get enough exposure so i put it up. Then all of the sudden, like the flick of a light switch, it was gone. I looked all over the sky for another sign, but failed to. So i called my friend who I was texting to tell him about what I believed was a ufo, and as I was talking to him, another light, with the s! ame brightness and size sped across the sky, almost as fast as a meteor that reaches the atmosphere. It appeared in the center of the night sky and flew south over my treeline in a matter of a half a second. I'm not sure if that second sight was the same object as the first, but they were two distinct sightings approximately 30 seconds apart from each other.

While relaxing in a Jacuzzi, I spotted a bluish circular light with subtle orange/greenish/reddish colors moving straight down a hillside (Emerald Heights near Indian Rock: also known as “Bear and Cub”). It looked very strange to be a car or helicopter since I see them all the time along that hillside. Then the light moved in a horizontal direction left, hovered there for a while and then right. It would pick up speed as it accelerated and then smoothly come to a stop each time it changed course. Then I thought that maybe somebody had a sophisticated laser device having some fun. But then the light moved vertical again going above the hillside in to open air. The light did not dissipate in luminance or outline, which I thought was too strange to be a laser since the sky probably couldn’t create a perfect solid backdrop. It continued this type of acceleration and directional pattern for about ten minutes, when I decided to go get a video camera. By the time ! I got back (three minutes later or so), the object disappeared as I was setting up the camera (proper lighting). This is no hoax!

My husband and I were out on our back deck letting our dogs out when we saw a light moving fast across the sky. It then turned around and went the opposite direction (no noise ever made). A couple minutes later we witnessed it shoot across the other side of the sky and completely stood still for 10-15 mins before taking off and vanishing. Around the same time we were watching this light, 2 planes flew above with flickering red lights and normal plane sounds. This light was 3 times faster than the plane and made no noise at all! Absolutely amazing!!

My daughter, son in-law, his sister & kids were driving northbound I-5 about 11:30 pm when they saw something with four lights fly right over their car. She says it was too close to be a plane & when they looked back, it was gone!

Roughly 10:00 pm EST, on August 20, 2014, my boyfriend and I saw what appeared to be a bright star/sphere like light object, traveling from the west heading east across the sky. The visibility of the sky was completely clear of any clouds, making all the stars and airplanes visible to the naked eye. The appearance of the object my boyfriend and I saw was much brighter, and larger than any star. The object was traveling at the rate of which seemed to be a fast airplane, but had no blinking lights, as all of the airplanes seen in the sky flying at the same time had. The object headed to what seemed to be directly across the sky right over us, bearing no sound, and suddenly appeared to change direction heading south in the sky; away from us, toward a star in the sky. We continued to watch it closely, almost in dismay; captivated, as the object still had no sign of any blinking lights and had no change in its form; staying a consistent bright sphere of light. The object appeared to then not just be flying south, but straight up toward the star just south of us. As we watched my my boyfriend stated “look it’s starting to fade”, and then right before our eyes the object just disappeared; which happened in seconds. I was absolutely dumbfounded, the object appeared to be there in the sky one moment and then what I would describe as it telescoping, farther straight up in the sky, and as it did so, it seemed to have a reddish color as it vanished into the sky. Something like out of a movie, as a star ship might go into hyper drive, and all you see is the afterburners of its jets. The whole occurrence lasted about 60 seconds, to a minute and a half long. Regretfully, I have no footage as my boyfriend and I describe to one another as being memorized, trying to figure out what exactly it was we were looking at, which when the object eerily disappeared in seconds from the sky, we had both agreed that what we had just seen was a UFO.

At the time provided I sat on my deck, talking to a friend by iPhone. I absent-mindedly was watching the clear night sky as I visited with my friend. Looking eastward, approximately 75 degrees, almost straight overhead, I saw a red light suddenly appear, high in the heavens. If I held my hand in front of my face, the light would appear to be 2-3 cm across in relation to my thumb. It was difficult to judge the size of the object because it was so far away. This light was bright red, and it manifested itself for approximately 2-3, seconds before it just as suddenly disappeared. I judge the intensity of the light in this fashion, on a scale from 1 to 10: if overhead blinking red lights on passing airplanes appear to me to be on a scale of 2-3, this light I judged to be an 8 or 9. It was that much brighter than regular airplane lights. The light was stationary. After the light disappeared, I then observed, for the next 1-2 minutes, a minute white light (scale: 1-2, barely discernible) moving quickly first due north, then stopping, then moving at a right angle west, then stopping, and moving diagonally back to the south. The movements were jerky and non- linear-that is to say, not in the "smooth" and straight fashion of an airplane. Then this little light disappeared. The total amount of time from the sudden appearance of the larger red light until the smaller white light disappeared was approximately 2-3 minutes. I am a retired Special Agent, a Federal Investigator. I have a post-graduate degree. I explained what I was seeing to my friend, who is also a retired Special Agent.

On 8-20-2014. I was out walking my cat. I seen this White light (Object), not flashing, it was going slow. And it almost looked like it stopped. Then two more flashing objects shows up and all 3 form a triangle. It was a nice clear night. Not a cloud in the sky. Then they disappeared. They also had no sound. The second day. I seen another white light Object (light wasn't flashing) moving very slowly a little ways. Then it disappeared. This night was also a nice clear night out, no clouds, bright shiny stars. I know it wasn't a star, cause it was bigger. I know what Planes, Helicopters sound and look like. I have seen other things in the sky here I can't explain. This one was in 2012, when I moved back to my hometown here in Gainesville. Me and my bf was going outside. We see this round object across the road. There is woods across from us. At first I thought maybe a star. But it was going straight across and slowly and it closed up like an alligator Eye would do. Also another night 2014, can't remember the month. But I was outside. I see this rectangle shaped object and it was a bright red color. It wasn't flashing or changing colors. I seen it go a little ways. The trees was in my way.

I woke up because i had regurgitated bile fluid. So i went to the restroom to spit out and rinse, when i was entering my room, and in my room my windows face west, i saw a bright white flash filling the whole sky. It only flashed once and for about only 2 sec. Just reporting to have it on file and to see if other people witnessed it.

I was at my friend's house. We usually go out to the casino or out downtown, but we both decided to stay in. My friend and I were hanging out, when she remembered that she had leftover fireworks. We went outside to set them off. Some sparklers, some snakes, and some helicopter fireworks that go shooting up a little over 6 feet. We did the snakes and sparklers, ending with the helicoptors. The first one had went up on the roof, so we waited for it to fall back down. We lit off a few more and watched where each one went to make sure it didn't get stuck somewhere. We got down to the last helicopter, and after it had fallen, we both turned away from the house and for some reason, we looked up. We froze there for what felt like 10 minutes. There was a light that was bobbing up and down, slowly moving in the sky. The bobbing motion was not too slow, but it wasn't very speedy. The bobbing lasted for a couple seconds until I asked my friend if she was seeing it, too. She said she saw it, and all of a sudden it shot right off. We tried to follow it, but it just kind of disappeared into the darkness of the night. I felt a very heavy feeling, and we both started freaking out and went back inside. Distinctly orange object or ball of light moving slowly from North to South at what appeared to be high altitude. It then became stationary for about 15 seconds before disappearing. It looked like a star or planet, except about three times as large. The orange glow grew repeatedly brighter and dimmer for as long as it was visible.
