there was a cylinder shaped craft hovering behind clouds, moving back and fourth up and down. you could see it change to a sphere into a cylinder. then went behind the clouds and that was the last I saw. this thing was huge so it must have been up close. I have always been skeptical of ufo's until the sighing in 2012.

On Thursday, October 2, 2014, at 4:53pm, Pacific Daylight Time, I snapped the photo above of Stanford University's Hoover Tower from within the Stanford Quad. I was unaware of anything unusual at the time, and was not aware of the strange object which appears in the photo between the two left-most trees. I first saw both the photo as a whole, and the strange object in the photo, when I offloaded the photos from my camera onto my home computer on Saturday, October 4, 2014. The camera which took the photo is an Olympus Model VR-320, "HD 12.5x Super Wide, 14 Megapixel", although I had it set on a relatively low resolution, so as to save space and be able to snap more photos during my trip to California. I was driving westbound on Interstate 64 (altitude ~534ft) when the object was seen in fixed position just above horizon. At first I thought it might be an airplane, satellite or possibly a star or sunset. Unsure of how large the object actually was since it was too far off to get a realistic measurement, however it appeared to be hovering around the Evansville, IN area but it could’ve been much further west when viewed directly from I-64, it was definitely large, oblong and stationary in the western sky. It had an oblong-oval / cigar shape and appeared bright white in color such as found with a star or a satellite / metallic object reflecting sunlight. I viewed it for approx. 15 minutes before exiting highway (exit 105) and it was still in the same location fixed on the western horizon when viewed directly down the I-64 corridor. I was cleaning up in my detached garage. I looked out the window and saw several brilliant red lights moving from North to South. The lights were much brighter than the airliner lights on planes coming into Sea Tac airport. There were a few airliners in the same airspace so I could compare. I left the garage, watching the lights; and as I got a larger view, I could see it was a parade of these things as far as I could see from North to south. I went to the back door of my house and called out my wife. We both stood on our back deck watching this long parade pass by. We looked through 10X binoculars and both agreed there was no sign of an aircraft we could identify. DESCRIPTION: Bright red orbs emitting continuous mildly pulsating light. A well defined pale pinkish or white cylindrical shape, which did not pulsate, and was attached beneath the orb. On some of them the cylindrical shape was moving around, like a camera lens on a swivel mount. There was no sound. The "flock" of orbs moved similar to the parade of crows that flies North to South or South to North here--random, linear, fluid. These things had to be moving several hundred mph because it did not take them long to make the journey across the airspace. The sky was clear. Altitude was difficult to tell but had to be over 4000 ft. I went to get a video camera but the last of them disappeared behind the trees and did not emerge again. We have not seen or heard anything on the news about them--which is wierd.

Cylinder shaped object, flat on the ends,very shiny,no sound,no wings,no vapor trail. Traveling north to south till out of sight. Aproximately 30 seconds later it made a return trip moving south to north untill out of sight.witnessed by 4 people in our yard. we were installing electric pole and service box when my son said what is that? my wife and my 80 yr. old mother were also summoned out to observe the object. this occured at 6:40 pm in full sun, very little cloud cover.

Starting at 5:00PM and continuing until around 8:00PM I saw a series of strange shapes crafts in the sky. I don't believe they were planes or jets, they didn't make any noise,there were no visible wings, just a bright silverish cylinder shape and they left no con-trails. They appeared to materialize out of nowhere and some of them vanished as quickly as they came. They all appeared to be following the same Direction East to West. The fist one I witnessed was around 5PM. I heard a plane overhead (and I looked to the north and saw a very bright cylinder in the sky, directly above me was a regular airplane. The cylinder appeared to be the larger than the airplane but had no wings. It traveled behind a small grove of pine trees, I went to the other side of the trees to get a picture and it had vanished. It was a beautiful clear day outside not a cloud in sight. I called my husband to tell him about it and while I was on the phone with him another one of these crafts appeared in the sky traveling in the same direction. I managed to get a photo of it, along with video footage of some of the others that followed. In total there were about 9 different UFOs, all similar in size and shape and color, traveling in the same direction. They would seem to appear out of nowhere and then travel northwest before vanishing in the sky after about a minute or two. It started to get dark outside and while I was on my way into the house I saw a very bright and large flash of intense light to the north, just behind and above the grove of pine trees. I felt strange afterward, dizzy like my sense of balance had been disturbed.

The craft cylindrical, heading north/northwest. It flew above cloud level and had no wings. It was also traveling faster than a helicopter. It had no sound from engines of any kind. The object was at least 200 hundred feet in length. It was a shiny silver/white color.

UFO headed North West seen from the cross streets of Colorado Blvd and Louisiana. It was closer and lower than a plane headed toward DIA within the range of sight. It appeared to be disk like from my view with cylindrical sides and a slight domed top. It had an iridescent quality, but could best be described in color as a metallic blue. Within seconds of viewing it, the object completely disappeared, while the plane (further away) could still be seen.

As it moved out of sight, I saw another object, same as last, but moving north. I watched the sky and saw 2 more going south and 2 more going north. They were timed at 5 minute apart .

At first I thought maybe it was a helicopter, but the object traveled from one side the sky to the other in about two seconds, then blinked and completely disappeared. The whole thing took less than five seconds. No airplane or helicopter I've seen ever moved this fast or blinked off like that. Wow!

Okay, I am reporting what was reported by several Riverside County citizens over the 91/215/60 freeway interchange this morning about 5:45 a.m. There is a UTUBE video posted by one Tim Kaiser, with a cylinder being chased by 2 airforce jets. It's real. I tried to send the UTUBE to your UFO site, but could not figure out how to do it. Is it posted on my Facebook Timeline Page. Walking to my car in a parking lot, I noticed something big and red in the sky. I thought it must be Mars. Then I noticed another one to the SE of the first. They were both traveling West. I turned around to see a much closer one coming from the East traveling West. This was much closer and I could see that the bottom was fire and above the fire there was some sort of white vertical sleeve. Nobody in the crowd that had formed was able to figure out what it was. We initially thought hot air balloons but it was night and the fire was constant. Three more followed. All looked the same and all travelled West. It was cloudy and they all disappeared into the clouds. None of us knew what we had seen.

Iridescent bright white (lit up with a squid like external appearance - no tentacles..just the body portion) cylinder type object fell from the sky at a rapid speed. It appeared out of nowhere and made its decent in a manner of seconds. It appeared to disappear before reaching ground. My location is SE Portland and I was viewing the sky in the northern direction. I do live nearby the PDX airport. That fact has absolutely no bearing on what was seen. Due to traffic noise, unable to determine if it did have any type of sound to it. Perhaps, due to the speed it came down, it could have been a sphere rather than cylinder. The lighting of the object may have just made it appear to be a different shape by causing a light trail behind it. It was not a lantern, falling star or meteorite. A cluster of approximately 20-30 round, silver looking objects that appeared to have halos moving north east through the sky in a consistent formation, moving slowly at an even speed until out of sight. I tried to capture them on video but they were too distant to capture on my camera, but they looked exactly like the objects in this video I came across on youtube while searching the internet to see if anyone else had seen the same thing I had seen. Bright orange light moved from the southeast sky above us across toward the north. It was bright orange. An elongated circular shape. Heard a slight sound a couple of times. Moved too fast to be a chinese lantern. My boyfriend has a video.

I just reviewed images from a photo shoot at the beach that are time stamped by the camera and noticed two cylinders that are side by side. They must of been moving extremely fast since the images are taken only a second or two apart and they are only visible in one image. I have all images for review. The photo shows two, dark, blurry objects, against a blue sky at the ocean shore. Our suspicion is that the objects are two sea birds in flight. We cannot be certain. PD
