Sighting 10/23/14 To the eye of the observer 1 (driver) 57 year old male. On October 23rd at between (7:20- 7:23) Vehicle: 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan traveling north on WA interstate RT5 Driver observed object (bright white light) in NE direction traveling at a high rate of speed visually descend from East to West at an angle of between 25 -35 degrees. Length of visual contact no greater then 1 to 2 seconds (as observed by driver) Object (light) did not flame out, but went out (went dark), there was no visible tale to the object (Light) nor was the light dancing or changing color. To the eye of the observer 2 (passenger) 23 year old male. Passenger reported seeing the object (light) (same direction same decent) for roughly between 4 -5 seconds. Passenger stated that at one point the light “blinked out” Further stated: “Maybe it was the cloud, maybe it went behind a cloud, I don’t know” Both the driver and the passenger continued to look for any signs of an object after light went out. Nothing noted. The road was heavily traveled at the time. There was no glare on the windshield from cars behind the van, there was no visible buildings under which the object (light ) passed over. Vehicles traveling in the opposite direction where not visibly head on to the van, nor where there any overpasses in the direction (See map attached- sent tvia mail) of the sighting of the object (light). Nor were there any side roads or onramps, leading on to the highway, which could account for glare on the windshield. No missing time No Sound heard Conclusion: Most likely meteor, however the apparent closeness and brilliance of the object combined with the quickness in which it blinked out . Seemed most unusual.

I was at a driving range with a friend of mine, I looked up and I noticed a orange light, not moving. I showed my friend and we watched it for about 30-45 seconds and then it just disappeared. After that, I kept looking in the sky around and didn't see any other lights.

We saw two flare-like lights about four minutes apart at approximately the same location off the coast of ocean drive beach. Then about four minutes later we saw three or four lights come on and then go off in sequence south to north. The lights were all amber in color and very bright. We are here on vacation and were sitting on our balcony when the event happened.

I see slow moving, star like objects every night for over a year now. Some are slower, higher elevation and seem to zig zag. Some pulsate on and off completely and fade out after a minute or so. A few flying a little faster and lower have responded to flashlight by brightening up extremely bright after I've flashed them with light. They dim back down and continue on path. One responded 3 times in a row to flashlight. Last night 10-22-2014, there were three together flying in a Triangle formation, each taking turns getting bright.

My son and I were sitting on the beach facing the ocean around 20:30. Approximately 21:14, he asked if I saw the lights off to our right. He described them as 3 yellow lights, well above the horizon in a single line. They were spaced apart and didn't move. According to him, they remained on for several seconds and disappeared. As they were near the landing approach to the Myrtle Beach airport, I didn't think too much about it. There were also some clouds in the night sky, so when I looked that direction I wasn't concerned that I did not see them. About 3-5 minutes later, a single yellow light appeared off to our left. It was well off the coast and appeared to be 1000-2000 feet above the horizon based on airplanes seen during the day. About 3 seconds after the first light appeared, a second light appeared to the left of the first one. About 3 seconds later, a third light appeared to left of the second one. Approximately 3 seconds later, a fourth light appeared to the left of the third one. As the fourth light appeared, the first one faded out and disappeared. As the fifth, sixth, and seventh lights appeared, this pattern continued. Once the seventh light appeared, it remained lit until the sixth one went out. Then the seventh faded out. We contined to look for another 30-45 minutes and did not see anything else out of the ordinary. We did observe a couple of planes cross the sky from the left to right and land at the airport. With landing lights on and marker lights, they resembled nothing like what we had seen.

Clear sky. Bright red light almost directly overhead passed from roughly east to west. Definitely not a plane as I saw many others of those at the same time. Moved quickly but steadily. As it moved away a similar object appeared moving on roughly the same path but was more orange in color. Tracked both objects as they moved westerly when the orange object disappeared from sight. Continued walking my dog for another 20 minutes or so but when I returned home I noted a twinkling red object lower on the western/northwestern horizon. Thinking it might be the object I saw before I ran inside my home and grabbed binoculars. When I focused in on the object it appeared to be a single point of light that was moving extremely rapidly but in a very random, haphazard way within a very confined bit of space. The movements were so rapid that it appeared to produce a 'stream' of light with loops and zigzags, etc. I checked a nearby street lamp and rooflines to be sure it wa! sn't my hands shaking (they weren't). Eventually it moved lower and lower down onto the horizon and lost sight of it. Have never seen or reported something like this before. A bright red light at approximately 20,000 foot elevation was seen by us (former peace officer and medical professional). The light hovered in the same spot for two minutes then rose several more thousand feet and disappeared.

I was leaving the house at about 9:25 this evening to pick up my spouse from an appointment. As I was locking the back door a bright flash of light caught my eye in the northern sky. I turned to look to see what it was. About 15 seconds later, it flashed again. It was about 15 degrees above the horizon, about 5 or 10 degrees west of due north, between two closely spaced pine trees in a neighbor's yard that I could use for reference. After about 40 seconds, it flashed again (I was counting off the seconds to myself). I could not discern that it had moved at all in that time. About 15 seconds later, it flashed again. Immediately after that, another bright light flashed to the east. It was about 20 or 25 degrees above the horizon, and about 5 or 10 degrees east of due north, between two tall pine trees that I could use for reference. In fact, I would say that it was in almost exactly the same location as a similar flashing light I reported to NUFORC in 2008. The first light flashed again about 40 seconds after its last flash, and the light to the east immediately flashed again. I watched for another couple of minutes or so. The one on the left seemed to flash at 15-40-15-40 second intervals; the one on the right at 40 second intervals. Both lights had not changed their positions in that time, as near as I could tell. After a minute or so, I could hear a high flying jet aircraft. I looked high to the northeast and could see an airliner traveling a familiar flight path, typical of commercial flights between central or eastern Canada and Edmonton International Airport. It was about 60-70 degrees up and northeast of my position. I could clearly see that it was a commercial flight, as I have seen many on this route. The navigation lights were flashing regularly and could be clearly seen. It was then that it occurred to me that the other flashing lights were much brighter, easily 3 or 4 orders of magnitude brighter than the airliner. In total, I may have watched the lights flashing for four or five minutes, and then had to leave to meet my spouse. I mentioned this to my spouse, and when we returned home, about 9:50 p.m., we watched the northern sky for about two minutes, but did not see the lights. I considered whether the lights might belong to aircraft. I have never seen commercial flights in the direction of the first light. It is too far north and west. However, it is possible that military traffic from Cold Lake, Alberta, could be in that area, en-route to eastern Canada or overseas (the CF-18s assigned to the current missions in eastern Europe and the Middle East are stationed in Cold Lake). The other light, to the east, may have coincided with commercial traffic on a Great Circle route between western cities in the USA and Europe. It's possible that I was seeing the navigation lights at the rear of various aircraft, but I've never seen any aircraft lights as bright as what I was seeing tonight, especially if (being perceptually closer to the horizon) they were a long distance away. But that doesn't explain why the lights did not appear to change position in the time I was watching.

While on the ocean-front balcony of our condo in Myrtle Beach South Carolina I , my roommate, her 3 yr old, my boyfriend n his 13yr old all saw two separate lights traveling together at a fast n swift pattern across the sky line. Moving together in sync with each other either same ship or two separate following synchronized flying in a weird pattern. It never left our view it went from one side of the ocean to the other within our view. The lights were blinking on and off synchronized with each other the entire time. Then there was a pattern of three lights that where the color of those Chinese lanterns. The lights were too large to bright and too far away to be the Chinese lantern. We have been here approximately one month and have seen over 4 sightings of different UFOs!

It was just about twilight hour, however not dark enough to see any stars yet. I was walking on Bayer’s road near Joseph Howe when I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. I looked up to see a small bright red light in the sky. It was stationary and was surrounded by a larger bright blue/purplish ring. It almost appeared like a halo around the smaller light. Both light sources were constant and not blinking. It stood still and made no noise. After about a minute it started to move very slowly in an almost fluid motion that didn’t have any real pattern. It started going left then turned around and went right, then up and down and then spun around in almost a circle. At certain moments between changing directions it would stay stationary for a few seconds. As it started to go right one last time, the halo disappeared and the light turned to blue before it faded and disappeared. Then very quickly it appeared once as a bright red light with the halo bef! ore it blinked and disappeared. I stayed around for a few minutes and walked around but didn’t see it again. I emailed Atlanta Fox 5 to see if any saw these lights. I have been driving this route to work for over 10 years and never seen this before. I know someone else had to see this. I was trying to get a good picture - but I was being honked at. By time I could get a snap of the lights - I didn't see the lights but had snapped a shot anyways.Did not see any cell tower or building or weather balloon. Interesting and I want to know what it is. Two bright white lights both the shape of candy corn (Triangular) shape and one longer looking light to the right of them . This was north east on 285 Interstate near Roswell Road but before the exit and past the river . The Military base is not far from location however I didn't hear any noise - like it may have been droids.

Peeked out of the shutter and saw exactly what was in the last video. Got the binoculars. It was brighter with almost a turquoise light wth red and white lights as well. Too high to be on the mountain and it was still there when I looked again 20 minutes later. Saw it again a few months later and again from the other side as I drove in from Portland about 3 am. These videos all shot from different locations and submitted by others at different times. I scoured Youtube looking for evidence of other sightings in Tri cities and this is the result. Insomniac prankster with a drone and too many batteries in the garage? You tell me. I have no clue what it was. Source of report indicates that the date is approximate. PD

Saw blue light low on horizon, hard to determine distance away. Light was very bright blue, at first I thought it was a star but it didn't twinkle and was too low. I was looking to the north east and it appeared farther than the houses about 2000 feet away. From my perspective it was about a foot off the roofline of those houses. After viewing for about a minute it appeared to fade out, changining to a red color then coming back to blue. As we were watching it the light went up rather quickly, while staying blue. From my perspective it was about 20 feet off the roofline. The light then dropped down below the roofline after about 25 seconds. Didn't see it anymore after that. My guess is it was either far away but there are mountains in the backdrop or it was very small and closer. Personal drone maybe?

I took my small dog out to go potty on leash just after 10 pm. We live in the country and it's very wooded in this area with BLM land surrounding us. I am always on the alert for wildlife while outside. It was very quiet outside that night. The sky was pretty dark, I could see stars, but mostly it was cloudy. As I was scanning the property, I was looking in the sky as well. I noticed a white light low in the sky behind my house it had an appearance like a white star, but it seemed odd to be so low in this area to me for some reason it seemed out of place. We do have neighbors behind us two houses. The one house directly behind us is roughly 250 feet away. The other neighbor along side them is even further from us. As I kept an eye on this white light for several seconds it just disappeared. It wasn't because of cloud cover that I could see. Seconds went by and another white light showed up in the same area, but this time it appeared closer an! d even lower in the sky. It was so low I saw it between the trees on the properties behind our home, but as if it was still in the sky. Now I am certain this is not a star. As I am watching this white light it disappears once again. I thought that was it. Then seconds later a white light appears again this time on the road that runs along side my property that the neighbors behind me share. This light is moving fast towards my direction. I watch this light coming down the road it's going really fast and it seems higher than where I would think the car lights would be. What I noticed next is the light appears to be crossing from the road into the trees and towards my direction then it disappears for the third time about 50 or 60 feet from where I am standing. I waited to see if it was going to reappear again while thinking this may not be a good idea. My dog was done doing her business, and she never appeared to notice anything that transpired. I had a really ! bad migraine and I wanted to take a hot bath. I did not notic! ed any s ounds coming from the light. Not sure about the light shape appearing to be the same shape or not, it happened so fast. The size of the light when it got the closest I would say about the size of a car headlight. I heard no cars, I saw no cars on the road, I heard and saw no neighbors walking the road with flash lights. Which I don't think they could match the speed it was coming down the road though a steep grade I don't think a human could even run that fast in my opinion. Even if it was a car with no engine running, I would have heard the gravel sounds from under the tires. No usual smells. SO it's a mystery.

Orange lights looked like they came up from Hare Creek Beach about 1/4 mile away. The lights followed each other in a line up into the sky until they went out of sight into the high clouds. They were silent and moved slowly.

Standing outside in backyard talking with adult nephew. Facing northeast. What we saw appeared over Highway 6 and William J Bryan. Witnessed a white bright light that moved from north to east in a lateral line. This light lasted i more than two seconds. Initially our brain registered a falling star but quickly realized this object moved laterally. It was not a falling star. It did not leave a trail or make any sound. Approximately one minute after seeing this light, a helicopter, which we could hear, rose up in the night sky and went east. Stepped outside in the evening and saw in the distance red and white alternating light ascend straight up from behind trees. The lights must have either been small or far away as they would blank out every time line-of-sight had it behind one of the power lines. We were unable to capture using cell phone cameras as the lights would not show up on the otherwise black screen. Lights appeared to be quite high in altitude, and made several back and forth flight patterns unlike what a plane would be capable of. (Helicopter, perhaps, but there was no noise) At one point the lights changed to blue, and ultimately descended straight down behind the trees in the distance to a similar location from where it arose. I thought perhaps it could have been a neighbor's remote-control helicopter or UFO, but was surprised at the extremely high altitude it appeared to be able to reach.

A friend and I were on our way to my house after a late dinner, and when we get to the stop sign of my street, we see a light in the sky coming towards the vehicle then abruptly stop and freeze in the sky. It appeared to stay there for about 3 minutes before turning around completely and ascending behind some clouds. Witness indicates that the date is approximate. PD
