Ogilvie, MN

The initial flash was noted in the constellation Orphicus roughly on the celestial equator (that line that appears when you bring up an astronomy program.) on the left side of the constellation. I was facing generally south, the flash was bluish white similar to an aircraft strobe- only slow to rise to full intensity as each flash varied in intensity and timing after the initial bright flash and most were about 2 seconds in duration. Initially I thought it might be Nova (it was almost that bright), but the second flash eliminated that as a possibility. It was headed generally North on a meandering trajectory after heading West a few degrees that took about 7 to 10 minutes to cover about 30 degrees of the sky overhead. It was eventually lost in the high thin clouds blowing off an approaching storm North of my location. Not a conventional aircraft, no other lighting was visible other than the slow strobe and far too small to be a stray weather balloon. It is possible it "may" have been a satellite that just lost control, but the meandering path, which did head due west for a few degrees early in it's trajectory suggests otherwise. No noise, no contrail. No aircraft in area, and far too high to have been a lightning bug (which display different as well). Too far away from any fireworks displays to have been a stray cinder.

I was inside and looked out my window- into the front yard, and saw a red flashing thing and at fist we thought it was a plane but we found out it wasn't!!! i told my parent but they didn't believe me. so we all went outside- to the backyard to watch fireworks when we saw a red flashing ball it light up really bright once and then turned back to red, it headed towards the moon.Then it dissappered. Over a period of approximately 40 minutes, against the mountains immediately north of Tucson several episodes of flashing lights were seen. Most were blue white, some had red with them. Intermittently the lights flashed on and off. Some streaked across the mountains and disappeared. Some remained stationary and could be seen for several seconds. Often there was nothing and then a series of lights flashed on. Sometimes they were stationary but flashed on and off in the same position. Never have I seen anything like this. My wife has more acute vision than I and said she saw that some lights flashing were dome shaped. She also saw what she described as rays emanating from the red part of the light. The streaking lights moved very quickly across the mountains. The view I had covered several miles. When I called 911 to report this, I was told that earlier similar lights were seen on mountains slightly west of me called Putsch Ridge. That area is not visible from my balcony.

From balcony, noticed a bright light for a split second that seemed very high in the night sky. Seconds after we noticed multiple flashes of light that seemed to come from the ground up (over a distance) maybe in New Jersey. I am in Philadelphia but can see across Delaware river. No booms or smoke and and seemed like a massive strobe. Have seen this a couple times before but never really paid much attention. Other people I have talked to have seen same flashes. Very bizarre.

I think I saw a UFO because it wasn't like a plane or a helicopter! It was like a shooting star but it was blinking and made a complete circle and just disappeared! It didn't last very long but you could tell long enough that it was something that came from out of this world. Very strange and one of the weirdest things I've ever seen! Tonight I was walking down my back steps and stopped to stare out West at the mountains (between Mt Sugarloaf and the Watigans) when I notice a massive flash lasting one second and being just under the size of an Australian 5 cent piece happen. I'm familiar with shooting stars and alike but this one didn't move, it stayed in one spot in the night sky and almost looked like a portal opening and then closing with a white and a slightly different colour. What I mean by opening and closing is it started off as a dot got large then went back to a dot vanishing. The details in this report is strictly on today's sighting alone but in saying that I'd like to also address the below issue. This is the third UFO sighting I've seen in just over a year personally purely by accident, both other sightings being witnessed by me and others I were with at the time. Although these other encounters were stranger and more visible and lasted for over a minute. (contact me for details on the other two) There has also been around 2-3 sightings by others which were reported in the Newcastle Herald and were reported to happen over the southern end of Lake Maquarie with witnesses on either side of the lake.

Appearing over the ocean in the direction of the constellation Scorpio, several red/orange lights, three to seven in a row. One would fade out as another showed up appearing in a line. at other times there were several red/ orange lights in no particular arrangement. Same size and shape. At other times one would appear to split from another and create two lights. Continued for 30 min.

I saw something strange for the first time in my life in the sky. I am writing this half an hour after it disappeared. I saw a yellow light flashing far away in the sky but not periodically. Sometimes the flash was for one second and sometimes for a little longer (3 seconds maybe but the shape is unkown to me. This was happening for 43 minutes. From 4:00 AM until 4:43 AM. After that it turned white flashing and then never showed up again and five or ten minutes the dawn started. That's all I saw. The yellow flash sometimes moved only a little but mostly it was still in the same spot of the sky. Also, I tried to take a video via my cell phone but nothing is appearing in it because it has no zoom option and because maybe of the street lights and the distance.

I was checking out some UFO reports and was giving up for the night, when I notice two bright orange lights, just south west of me. After about a few seconds they disappeared. I started walking toward the beach again, then all of a sudden, I saw the lights due east of me, blinking on and off for about 20 minutes. I took my eye of them for a second after that, and they broke up into about 6 smaller lights, and flew away, blinking very fast.. We have corrected the date above to reflect a sighting on Tuesday night, June 10th, 2014. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he stated that the sighting was Tuesday night. PD

It was around midnight when I went outside to smoke a cigarette. I looked up and saw a bright white light following along the same general route as a previous craft I reported earlier was traveling. Almost looked like a shooting star but wasn’t quite as fast and the light trail lasted longer than most shooting stars I've ever seen. The object disappeared into the clouds, headed towards the moon. No noise. Seemed closer to earth than the stars in the sky did. This shooting white orb, in comparison, was about as size of an eraser on the end of a pencil, if held up to the sky with eyes squinted.

At approximately 22:30 on 5/20/14 I was sitting on my patio facing south looking at a cloudless, star-lit sky. A flashing light zipped overhead from south to north. It appeared over a neighbor's rooftop roughly 30° above the horizon. It disappeared directly over my own rooftop at 90° in fewer than three seconds. I could have easily mistaken it for a meteor except it was blinking. It had no time to blink more than two to three times, and had I not been facing in the right direction at the moment it happened, the event would have taken place too quickly to have been even noticed. Whether it was within or outside the earth's atmosphere, it was traveling at a breathtaking rate of speed.

Small flash of light every 2 seconds, no noise, couldn't physically see anything, I followed the way the flashing lights were traveling and were unusual movements (travels west for few 10 seconds, then shifts south for 8 seconds, then turns east for 3 seconds then hangs out in one spots for a minute, then heads south which seemed like at a faster speed, then disappear in the sky)... Deffinetly no airplane or helicopter... Deffinetly no usual!!

me and my wife went to walk my dog at approximately 21:50 because she was barking uncontrollably when we got around the corner of our house an while approaching the neighborhood park the whole sky in front of us lit up for around threel seconds. Warm night with no over cast or clouds. Would compare brightness to a flash of lightning with out lightning or any sound.
