Salado/Jarrell, TX

On Thursday night, January 29th, 2015, shortly after dark, maybe 7-8PM, my daughter was on her way home from Waco, towards Austin, on I-35. Somewhere near Salado, she observed 2 blue lights traveling southbound near her. They appeared to resemble aircraft landing lights, but were a deep blue (not the blueish tint of some LED lights, blue like emergency lights). One was solid and one was blinking slowly. They appeared to be on the same craft. She observed it until about Jarrell (roughly 8 miles/5 minutes), and lost sight of it, as it continued south. No aerial maneuvers, just a steady flight. The coloring was the strange part. Also, there was a "low ceiling" so no stars were visible. It was flying below the ceiling of clouds, maybe 2000-3000 feet? I know of no aircraft that uses blue lights such as this. No other colors were seen, no strobes, just the 2 blue lights.

Covina, CA

A minute or so later, it ascended to the precise same spot. It hovered there for a minute or so, then repeated the same rapid descent. I did not see it again. No sound and no other sighting. I did not get any any video or photos. There was no trail. The entire event was about 5 minutes. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) I will do some checking for others who may have seen it. It descended and ascended so fast that it was hard to believe. No acceleration. From zero to full speed instantly. However, at that time of day, others would have seen it. I will report back if I find any corroborating reports. ((END ADDENDUM))

Camano Island, WA

Last time, I wasn't sure if it was a UFO, but this time, I got a real picture. I was burning some wood on the farm, and then I noticed a small contrail in the sky. I thought, hmm, okay I will take a picture. I took one, the trail was small. Then I took another, then it was slightly bigger. I watched it until it seemed to go away behind trees or leave the atmosphere, but I did see the aircraft seem to stop moving or slow down. I couldn't see it for a long time. When I looked at my phone and zoomed in, there seems to be a sphere aircraft of some kind at the end of the trail. Can you guys examine it too see if it. We believe a contrail behind a jet. PD

Fremont, CA

This happened after I passed Stevenson Blvd. exit while in my vehicle, going South on 880. I could see three very bright white lights in the sky from a distance. These were three separate objects, but they were somewhat of the same altitude from where I was viewing. The object in the middle was very bright (the brightest), the light was pulsing, and it was moving downwards very slowly. After about 30 seconds, it disappeared, then reappeared as a smaller light for another 10 seconds or so. Then it completely vanished. To the right of the brightest object was a smaller one that was moving horizontally very slowly. It didn’t blink at all. It looked like a bright star during a clear night. To the left of the brightest object was a smaller one that was moving downwards slowly, the light on it was also pulsing. It went on for about 40 seconds. The distance between the objects from my viewpoint, was about 1 inch horizontally.

Florala, AL

first object was miles apart from the other two. it just flew from the southeast to the north west, until no longer visible. The other two well to the North East of Florala seem to complete a full long circle flying pattern but then some what stopped, shifted or like slid in an instant change going from north to east. It then completed the circle pattern and flew off north East till out of sight. All 3 objects had the same series and sequence of white blinking lights. There were no signs of red or green lights as on aircraft or helicopters. It would flash 3 times in an interval then go dark for about ten seconds and repeat. There were no visible distinction of an object shape, just lights and no sounds. No other aircraft sounds were heard in this time frame or helicopters. Florala is used by Fort Rucker for training flights, but no helicopter noises were heard.

Westland, MI

I was sitting looking out ny back door when I seen an object falling from the sky. It then lit up while falling into a really bright blueish white light. It continued to hover and fly fairly low to the ground and made movements I have never seen an aircraft do. It then went back and forth up and down for about 30 seconds. Then went up into a cloud light went off. Then it flashed in the cloud, then never seen again. It was the most thrilling thing I have ever seen in my life.

Staten Island, NY

Out of the driver's left side window, the light caught my eye, as it streaked past my vehicle and I watched it either disappear or burn out while looking through the front windshield, it was also traveling East to West Just over the tree tops. I was completely sober lol, as I said just driving home from work. It reminded me of a "shooting star" I've seen many meteor showers in August near Lake George growing up. But this was different it was much closer to the ground fire works height. But I've never seen this color in fire works. The tip of it appeared very dark black the body was an extremely bright cobalt blue with a long bright white tail that widened and sprayed out as it streaked across the sky. No one else was driving on the road at this time. The night sky was very overcast I could not see any other lights no stars, no moon either. It happened so fast there was not enough time to take a picture with my phone. I was listening to "Coast to Coast" on the radio and my window was rolled up, so I never heard a thing. I'm leaning more towards something celestial not ET, but I've never seen those vivid bright colors in the sky before. I would love to know what I saw. I have made a report like this in my life.

Wenatchee, WA

3 objects were noted to be flying in the South/East sky flying directly over Wenatchee and moving slowly to the West. All three were flashing lights. The center one was mostly red and flashing faster than the other two. The two on the outside perimeter were mostly white with some flashing slightly reddish. They seemed to move in unison, slowly across the sky. I would say there was some distance between them. We are out almost nightly observing the night sky and have never seen these lights before. Not anything normal out of Pangborn Airport I would venture to say. We live at the top of a Canyon and have an excellent view of the Wenatchee Valley.

Bright light in the sky at first looked like a bright planet that didn't move and once we got closer to it, you could see the light reflecting off the surface like a round ball, then it moved first to the right then up then to the left and flew away, too fast for our car to keep up

Columbia, SC

Looking west from NE Columbia. Started high in the sky within 15 min it has sunk much lower. It is ongoing. Moving to much to be a star, not enough for a helicopter. However, the brightness can be compared to looking at a helicopter search light head on a few miles away. We suspect a sighting of a star, possibly Sirius. PD

Fresno, CA

It had just rained in the morning and now in the afternoon the sky was clear and without haze. The time was between 1600 and 1630 about an hour before the sun sets. I was in my backyard working in the garden when I happened to look up and see some seagulls circling above. Then further up in the sky a bright spot caught my eye. Then another one and another until there was a bunch of them. They were traveling northwest to southwest from my location. At first I thought they might have been airplanes but I could not make out any wings. They were very high in the sky so I thought maybe that might be why I could not see any. The light I saw from them appeared to be reflection of the sun from something metallic. Most were not blinking but rather shown steady as a reflection. However, there were a few in the center of the cluster that had a red glow that increased and decreased in intensity. They were not in any formation. They were scattered in an elongated bunch, some apart, some were close together. After a minute or so I decided to try and count them. I got to ten but started to lose the front ones flying into the southwest. I estimate that there were maybe 18 to 25. They looked like stars. Some brighter than others, but flying as a group.

Ash Fork, AZ

I was outside at 5:30am MST on January 26th about 50 miles west of Flagstaff, AZ, walking back to my house after closing the ranch gate for my wife after she left for work. I saw a meteor in the sky and as I followed its motion, I noticed a bright flashing object in the north-northwest sky about where the meteor trail ended. The object was about 30 degrees above the horizon, brighter than Jupiter which was high in the night sky at the time. The object was flashing quite rapidly but inconsistently, in several different colors, which caught my attention. I am quite familiar with the night sky here, as the rural area and terrain provide for great viewing that enables views of the Milky Way on clear moonless nights. I also follow the planets, and this was not a planet, as it was too far to the north and not on the ecliptic. I assumed that the object was an aircraft or a star, but it did not move like an aircraft, and it was too bright to be a star… So I watched it for a few minutes. At first, it seemed to be stationary, but soon it moved quite rapidly to my right (further to the north) and then back to where it started. Then it moved up and down and returned what seemed to be close to its original location. Between motions, it would return to its original spot and remain motionless for several seconds. Obviously, I was intrigued. I lined up the view of the object with a tree in my line of sight so that I had a fixed reference point, as I know that sometimes a sky object can only appear to move. I also looked at the pattern formed by several nearby stars. At this point I confirmed that the object was indeed moving, and moving very fast. It made several circles and figure 8 patterns, and a couple of dramatic zig zags that were very rapid. None of the motions appeared to move the object any closer to my location. After a total of about 15 minutes, I got a pair of 10 power binoculars, but I couldn’t see any additional details to the shape of the object, but the colors were easier to make out. White, red, blue and green were the object’s predominant colors, with their frequency pretty much in that order. I don’t know what the object was, but it seems to fit the UFO category to me. I will look for the object in the same location tomorrow, and if it is a star whose light was perturbed, the star should still be there… Considering the motions observed, I don’t think so..

Eaton rapids, MI

I was driving home from work heading south from Lansing to eaton rapids. I looked over towards Orion's Belt and roughly 30 degrees to the left of the Orion constellation I seen a colorful light blinking blue, green, red and maybe amber. I see this same light frequently. From my front door facing west I seem the light about 40 degrees to my left. I went inside to get my phone and Try to record it. I was inside for approximately 15 seconds. I returned to my porch and it had moved to directly in front of me. It was very far away so it had to have covered a great distance in that shot Period of time. Unfortunately, I didn't get to physically see it travel, although I am certain it was the same object I had just observed with my wife. 15 seconds prior to the movement. I then watched it slowly travel a distance of roughly 10 degrees to my right in a period of 15 minutes before it blinked out. Goreville, IL

Our location is 8 miles northwest of Goreville, Illinois. At 2am, my mother saw a bright light due east of us. Jupiter had already passed over the house. Object grew larger - bright light the diameter of a dime at arm's length. It was flashing at a rate of 3 times per second. Witness states is was the same color as Jupiter. As it approached, it seemed to have a smaller bright sphere on its leading edge. Object moved from East rising overhead to the south, where it was no longer visible. Witness is retired English teacher, holding a masters. Writer is Managing Editor for an Internet publication.

After about 20 minutes a second light east of the first caught my eye doing the same motions, but this one was solid yellow/light orange. I got bored of watching after nearly an hour and went inside. Possible sighting of a star or planet?? PD

Westport, CT

While driving on I-95 South last night at 9:40 pm, I observed a fluorescent green sphere traveling up the Saugatuck River at a slow rate of speed. The object descended as it made its way toward I-95, then appeared to disappear from sight as it approached the rooftops of the houses that are located on the riverbank. January 25, 2015 · 9:00 PM · LIGHT

Jacksonville, FL

The lights were in a rectangular shape and larger and brighter than the surrounding stars. I witnessed several planes (more than ten and a very loud helicopter)fly by the area where the lights were so I could tell it was not a plane. It was very big, very bright, very still and very quite. Now my neighborhood has alot of dogs and is normally a bit noisy, but since seeing and watching the lights in the sky it was absolutely silent outside. After about two and a half hours of watching the sky the lights appeared to shift into what looked like one light that wasn't as bright as the four. The lights then began to move slowly behind my house out of my sight to which I ran outside to see how far it had moved, and it was gone. I continued to watch the sky for about thirty minutes, as I was still stunned and shocked that the enormous light had disappeared so quickly. I also noticed that the planes that were flying by had stopped as well. By this time its 11pm and I went to bed.

Anacortes, WA

I was driving home from work around 11:30pm, Saturday 1/24, on Hwy 20. I saw some orange-ish/ golden lights in the sky forming two circular patterns. As I was driving, I was not sure what I was looking at so I decided to pull over as I was coming around the bay. The lights were southwest of where I was parked alongside the highway. The lights were there for a few minutes, and then one by one they disappeared. I've never seen anything like this, I still have no idea what I saw.
