At 9:45PM, on March 8, 2015, I observed one orange light in the sky over East Layton, Utah, for a period of 5-10 minutes. Weather conditions were clear and calm, few if any clouds – stars clearly visible over most of sky. From my vantage it appeared to hover in area approximately 2000 feet above the FAA RADAR station atop Francis Peak. The light was brighter than any star in the clear night, pure orange in color, and was not dimming or growing in intensity. The “orange object” did not exhibit any green/red/white blinking aircraft navigation lighting. My first thought was that it was an aerial flare, but it was stationary, and did not shimmer or produce visible smoke. My 24-year-old son reported seeing 5 such lights as he drove home 10 minutes earlier. And independently, my daughter-in-law was outside that same night on a smoke break at work and also saw 5 orange lights above Layton, Utah. My son listens to Weber and Davis County police dispatch while he drives about. He says that there was some chatter on both dispatch channels about these orange lights, but that they moved the discussion off to a non-monitored channel. I am 53 year old father and grandfather, my occupation is in the High-Tech field.

While out walking my dog, I saw a bright, stationary, light in the south western sky over the port of Albany, New York. Thought at first was a star or an airplane. Upon a closer look through binoculars, the light appeared to be subtly dimming and brightening, and also appeared to have subtle flashing red lights. Suddenly, it appeared like a spent fireworks display with uneven and jagged "smokey like" tenticle like entrails. The object appeared to be stationary and not moving. I called the local PD who had no reports of a similar sighting. I went out about an hour latter to walk my dog and saw the same object more in the north eastern horizon and there appeared to be a second similar object slightly south west of it. There are lots of commercial aircraft that fly near here...Albany International Airport is about 10 miles from my house. These were not airplanes! It was like a large star at distance very bright it would stay steady then move left slowly then go back to the right slowly and stay steady again was there for a while then it disappeared towards the distance like going higher it was very sparkly like a diamond it was not a star or air plane it was a ufo unkown flying object. Sighting of a star or planet, we suspect. PD

At 8:00 pm, I was driving home, headed south. I was heading up a slight hill, only minutes from my house. In front of me, in the sky, I saw a bright white light, the shape of a star, but too big and close. It looked more like a white light from an airplane. However, it was falling at a rapid angle like a shooting star. I watched it fall, thinking it looked like it could hit a house. Then the light suddenly went completely out. I thought maybe I had seen a real meteor hitting the earth in my area or maybe a distressed plane had gone down. But there was no crash or engine noise. I have no idea what I saw!

We were on are way back from Towell Falls in Washington. We just passed a large steel grain silo, when our car was surrounded by large ultra bright blue lights. They would flash and disappear. They didn't have a rhythm or pattern. The length of their glow was irregular and changed with each flash. Everyone in the vehicle saw them. They were within feet of our car. We were all confused and decided it was too weird to want to turn around and investigate. I remember passing the silo earlier on our way to the falls. There were no lights or light fixtures.

275°-290° West of coordinates 42°44'7" N 89°22'54" W at around 6:00 me and my two friends were outback on my patio smoking a cigarette and looking at stars when we saw and extremely bright white light above my tree line all by itself with very little light pollution in the background. No surrounding stars in that area. We sat and looked at it for around 20-30 minutes. While looking at it we saw a very small orange/red light falling and a slow speed under the trees. While looking at the very large and very bright white light we could see it sway left and right acutely. We finished our cigarette and proceeded to go inside the house. An hour later when we went out to smoke another cigarette, we noticed that both the bright white light and the tiny red light we completely gone. Nothing to be see. I will also note that it was extremely quiet outside and no wind, clouds, or other things that could distort our vision. I will continue to monitor the sky in the surrounding area for the next few weeks to see If it returns or I find something else. P.S. I did attempt to capture pictures of the light, but my cell phone could not capture it.

I was getting ready to close the window in my bathroom, when I noticed I left it open and it was too cold. Then I saw in the horizon what I thought it was a shooting star, because everything matched the color (between white and blue), the speed, the moving direction and the size. But all of a sudden it changed course moving erratically, it did a couple of complete turns as well as half-revolution and disappeared in the sky after 20 seconds or so.

My brother had spotted a glowing object and had come to get me because he was confused as to what it could be. At first I figured it was a planet but when I saw it I saw it was much too bright and was slowly moving across the sky. Very slowly it started moving toward the horizon, so slow that we almost couldn’t tell it was moving, believing it to be our eyes playing tricks on us. It was very bright, and my brother swore that he saw it shoot up towards the sky which is how it caught his attention in the first place. We continued to just observe whatever this thing was over the next half hour or so, even climbing on the roof to get a better view. We had each commented on how the object seemed to be varying in luminosity and to have shown little specks of red blink occasionally. Again, I must emphasize that it *seemed* to do these thing because we were all staring at it so long that it could very well have been our eyes playing tricks on us. As we were watching, we noticed that it had slowly shifted its color from a bright, almost star-like, white glow into a deep orange and yellow. This was for certain, there was no way it was an illusion caused by focusing on something so bright for so long. Remember, all of this happened over the span of around thirty minutes so the changes were subtle except for the eventual change in color. It continued to float down towards the horizon and slightly towards what would be north from our perspective. My brother grabbed his Iphone to use his Starmap app to verify that it was not a planet or star. It was WAY bigger than anything else I had ever seen, that I suspected was not an aircraft seeing as it was so steady and “floaty”. One last thing that we remarked on was the fact that it often looked as if it partially blended with the sky. We thought it could have been something blocking our view but it was only a part of the object at any one time and whenever this occurred the (I want to say distortion) was the exact color of the sky behind it. It was definitely one of the strangest things I have ever seen. I do live near both an airforce base and a major airport if that is at all relevant.

Upon going back to look at approx 2050, the object was in a completely different portion of the sky and not really appearing to move. When I went back to look at 2100, the object was gone.

At approx. 6:45pm PST on 03-06-15, I was on the front porch having a smoke with my mother. I looked to the WSW and saw the planet Venus. Then I looked to the north and saw a stationary white light at approx. 25° azimuth. I continued to watch the light, and noted that it was briefly eclipsed by a power line across the street. At this point, I knew it wasn't a star or a planet because it was moving in the wrong direction. As I continued to watch the light, it flew slowly SW. I figured that it was just a high-altitude aircraft. I looked over at Venus again, looked at it for ~5 seconds, then turned my head north again -- and much to my astonishment, the light had moved much, much more quickly (est. 85° azimuth now) than my 5-second glance at Venus would have allowed had the light been a terrestrial aircraft. So I pointed it out to my mother, and she had observed the light making a zig-zag motion across a fair percentage of the sky visible to us. Both of us continued to watch the light as it flew overhead and disappeared behind the limb of our roof. The light was white (not yellowish or bluish) and had no colored strobes that would be indicative of a terrestrial aircraft, and exhibited no engine noise whatsoever. I strongly believe that this object was not from our neighbourhood if you will.

I was driving down 95th St. As I drove past Fannie May Candies, I noticed a bright light flying towards Chicago Ridge Mall. When I was next driving past Chicago Ridge Mall on 95th St I noticed at around 4:48PM the bright light stopped flying and stood still. I rolled down the driver side window, I got my camera, I zoomed in and took 8 photos out my driver side window. It slowly started to diminish. It finally diminished all the way. I noticed 5 hours later when analyzing the photos only 6 out of 8 photos had the light in the sky on them. It was a clear sky and there was no planes. I see and report these lights sometimes. I don’t know if what I saw is explainable or not, and I cannot find any news about it, but it was a strange phenomenon to me and I know I wasn’t the only one to see it. I was watching American Idol and during a commercial, I looked out my front window to see someone who had pulled their car over to the side of the road in front of my house. There isn’t any parking on that side of the street, but the car was left running and this person got out and pointed a camera to the sky and seemed to be taking pictures. I knew the full moon had come up in the direction he was pointing the camera, but I had been out looking at the moon several times earlier and I didn’t see anything really cool about it or unusual that would cause someone to pull over to the side of the road to take a picture of it. The more I watched this person, the more curious I became. What on earth was he taking pictures of? I put on my coat, walked out into the back yard where I knew I could see the moon, and got the surprise of my life. I don’t even know how to explain what I saw. It looked like three bright stars dancing around the moon. They had an orange-ish color to them. They almost looked like planets, like Mars perhaps. But these things seemed to be moving. I have to admit my first thought was that we were being attacked. I didn’t know if they were bombs coming in from overseas or what the heck they were. A million thoughts were passing through my brain at that point. Then I thought they had to be planets that just happened to get aligned up there near the moon, but they couldn’t have moved into that position that fast since I had just seen the moon less than an hour before that. Then it became obvious these lights or stars or whatever they were, were moving. In my back yard I had a limited view, but I knew from my front yard I would have a more expansive view of the sky, so I went around to the front of the house, but by then these lights had moved further away from me and the full moon. It was just a few seconds after I got to the front yard that they moved out of sight. It almost looked like they disappeared into clouds. Even though we have clear skies, it could be clouds had formed where the lights were headed. Clouds or not, that’s how it appeared to me when they disappeared. Almost like the moon peering in and out of the clouds when the clouds pass over it. Another reason for going to the front yard was to see if the person who was taking pictures knew what the lights were, but when the lights disappeared seconds after I reached the front yard, the person who had been taking pictures had gotten back into the car and had driven away, so I never got to speak to them. I’ve searched for news on this and I see that other orange lights have been spotted in the skies, but unlike what I’ve been reading, these lights were not low flying objects. Again, they looked like stars in the sky or planets, but really, really bright and moving. There were three of them when I saw them, but perhaps other lights had been there and had disappeared by the time I got curious enough to go outside. I didn’t see any objects, just light. They were moving together, but appeared to be separate as the distance between the lights varied as they moved. These lights were right beside a full moon so there was plenty of light in the sky to see an object, but I saw no objects, just bright stars or planets that moved in a strange fashion and then disappeared. Maybe there is a simple explanation, and if so, I apologize for bothering you. But I have lived on this earth a long time, and I’ve spent a lot of time outdoors looking at the sky, and I have never seen anything like this. I’ve even lived under a flight path for a major airport and I have watched planes flying at night as they come in to land or take off, but at the same time I could also see planes higher in the sky that would be passing over this airport, obviously not taking off or landing there, but just passing over as they journey to whatever other airport they are going to. The point is, I’ve seen planes in the skies at night, both low flying and high flying, and these lights were not like any I’ve ever seen on aircraft I’m familiar with.

On this afternoon, me and youngest daughter, aged 11, were watching the clouds and sunset as we normally do. During this, I observed a C5a Galaxy military aircraft flying east to west, I observed this aircraft with binoculars for ID. I commented how big the contrail was and my daughter thought it was very cool. After it passed overhead, it turned to the northwest from my 12 o'clock position, I handed the binoculars to my daughter to watch it. She then stated that there was something beside the plane, I asked flying beside or was it in different travel path. She said no it was beside the aircraft, I asked if it was another plane and she stated she didn't see any wings on it that it looked like a light. She then handed the binoculars to back to me. I observed the light and it was white in color, when I saw it, it was no longer beside but had dropped back behind the C5. It was at this point the light began a westward track and seemed very slow. I observed no wings or tail. The object was not flashing but a steady white light color. I asked my daughter if she could she it without the binoculars and she stated no. I looked without them and could not see it. It was only visible with the binoculars. I then handed them back to my daughter but she was unable to find it again. We saw several aircraft that night including a Fed-Ex plane (ID'd by paint scheme with binoculars), all had contrails and were identifiable as winged aircraft. This was not. If I was to guess size, due to the distance I would be hesitant and guess near the size of the engines at the distance we saw.

They slowly joined to become one. Initially we thought they were 2 planes on crossing routes except they did not cross. They remained together for a few minutes. As soon as I took my cell to record they went northbound at a high rate of speed and disappeared within 3 seconds. Never seen anything like this! 2 big solid yellow lights and 1 blinking Red and yellow flying around a radio or cell phone tower on Route 23 at the rest stop near Owens road East bridge. 1 solid one flew over to the blinking one that was stationary. They both became stationary. Then a 3rd one appeared out of nowhere. It was solid until it reached the other 2, then flashed Red, yellow and white. No flash pattern. Then they all flew around at slow speed near a commercial airline following it, then left at high rate of speed. We thought one of them was going to crash into it. But didn't.

It was about 9:30 at night, driving home from dinner. A strong thick beam of light, not instantly but took about 5 seconds to “fall,” came down and a large portion of the sky around it turned green. This stayed this way for about 20 seconds, and then the beam went up and the sky went black again… I need answers.

On 2-28-15 I noticed some lights around the moon. I took my digital camera, and zoomed in and took a picture. About a week later, I downloaded it to my PC. It had more detail than I thought. The 2 to the left are gone, one from the right is gone, the other from the right and the one from the center look to me that they are in a dog fight in the sky to the right of my home, shooting back and forth what looks to be some kind of white light ve never seen before. They are darting all over and have seen 3 dark things come shooting out of the one from the center. I do not know what it is i see right now in the sky as i have never seen anything like it ever, its as if im watching a really good sifi movie with out the tv screen.

To the right of my home there are 2 lights pulsing red but mostly white a good ways apart, in front of my home is 1 all white light pulsing, and to the left of my home there are 2 just like the ones on the right. The one single all whit pulsing light, like a gun shot a perfect long white light that ive never seen on earth before at one of the ones to the right of me. The one on the right that was shot at began to move side to side and up and down really fast like iv never seen an aircraft ever move, while staying in the same area of the sky. I do not drink at all or do drugs, have lived in albuquerque, nm, for 16 years and never seen what i just saw in the sky here in portsmouth tonight.

There was a light in the clouds tonight. I observed a bright red light moving quickly In a horizontal ascent, on a rapid descent the light changed to light blue. It was moving up and down in rapid and erratic fashion. I watched for about 30 seconds on the last descent it left vertically and was quickly out of sight.
