Reddish-orange light traveling at fast speed, heading East over Southwest Michigan. The light appeared to disappear into the atmosphere. Three more similar lights in formation appeared afterwards and seemed to be following behind the first light. They disappeared into the atmosphere as well. A fifth light appeared out of the Western sky and appeared to be the tail end of the group. The light, however, stopped for 5 seconds, then shot up into the atmosphere.

In the Northwest sky there were flashing lights which, in succession, would flash and disappear then reappear in another very nearby location. They would do this 3-5 times and appeared to "travel" in a straight line, however, that line could be horizontal, diagonal or completely vertical. Shortly after the occurrence a group of four Air Force jets from flew through the area and proceeded North, then circled the rest of the metro Phoenix area and headed back to Luke AFB. I am unsure how or if these are related.

I have seen this strange object now twice in 10 days. It was in same location and around the same time of May 17 Sighting. This time a red light followed; and another object was blinking above for a few seconds. Lots of movement, and was hard to follow. Once again, an unreal experience.

I thought it was low flying jet but I didn't see a jet just lights only but because the skies were gray and cloudy I believed that's why I couldn't see it but I thought why would a Jet fly that low here it turned away from me and I didn't see it again I figured they were looking for Hagerstown airport but I had never seen a jet fly like that.

I witnessed a light moving at a constant speed from west to east across the sky. This light was moving faster than any plane or helicopter I've seen and moved slower than a shooting star. It did not blink. It appeared to ascend as it moved across the sky until it disappeared from sight. Not the ISS, which was not visible at the time and date indicated by the witness. PD

On June 25, 2015, at approximately 11:40 PM, my boyfriend and I were standing on the balcony of The Great Wolf Lodge hotel looking east. The sky was completely clear and I noticed that even though we were in a populated area that more stars were visible in Centralia than at home in Everett. As we were admiring the stars I pointed to a moving light. I thought it was a satellite moving from the South to the north but just as I said, “Hey, look it’s a satellite,” it suddenly “flamed up” got extremely bright then disappeared out of sight. Almost as though a rocket engine had engaged. Not exactly sure what it was. Very well could have been a satellite and we just got lucky and saw it burn up in the atmosphere. Wasn’t going to report but I haven’t been able to get it off my mind since. Possible flare from an Iridium satellite? PD

At approximately 11:00 at night I went out to smoke on my front porch and saw a floating light in the sky, it laid North-West from where i was sitting. I of course didn’t think much of it, because of where I live I am used to helicopters checking the area for Marijuana in the hills. I simply just went inside after thinking that it was nothing. An hour later I still saw the same light floating, this time i was a bit worried, so i grabbed my whole pack and started to watch this thing in the sky. I sat for 6 hours as the same light move at breakneck speeds, and move in directions that were in a zigzag formation, (it moved in other formations as-well, but that what the most significant one, along with circular.) the object also had blue and red flashing lights from time to time, but remained a bright white for the most part. The object has never come down once since i’ve started watching it. I also heard a distinct noise from it. It was like hearing a generator from a distance. but the object should of been too high in the sky for me to have heard it. I have been waiting for this object to land and refuel, because i thought it was just a helicopter. But i know for a fact that regulation and the semi-above average fuel tank can allow a helicopter to stay in the sky for 5 hours. I’ve went inside now because of a wheezing, high pitched, laugh-like noise i heard not to far away. (the noise i heard could have been to no relation to this situation, but it might have.) I’ve been peeking through my window, it is still there.

Approximately 22:30 to 23:30, LOW IN THE NW SKY, THERE WAS A BRILLIANT BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT, THAT SEEMED TO SHIMMER AS IF IT WAS SLOWING DRIFTING OR MOVING BACK AND FORTH. I WATCHED FOR APPROXIMATELY 10 MINUTES, AS IT WAS STATIONARY THE ENTIRE TIME. WENT INSIDE, CAME OUT 5 MINUTES LATER AND IT HAD MOVED ABOUT 5 DEGREES MORE TO THE WEST, EVEN LOWER ON THE HORIZON RIGHT ABOVE THE TREES. AT THAT TIME IT STARTED TO BLINK OUT PERIODICALLY, REAPPEARING IN THE SAME PLACE. AFTER DOING THIS ANOTHER 10 MINUTES OR SO, IT WENT OUT AND NEVER REAPPEARED. ONE OF THE MOST BRILLIANT OBJECTS I HAVE EVER SEEN IN THE NIGHT SKY. IT WAS BRIGHTER THAN ANYTHING ELSE IN THE SKY, AND CAN ASSURE YOU IT WAS NO KIND OF AIRCRAFT. IT WAS COMPLETELY SILENT! We suspect that the witnesses probably were looking at Venus, which is in the western sky, currently. PD

Getting ready for bed and my wife looked out our east facing window and asked what it was. The light was like a flare, then burnt out into a small white light and continued to the horizon. Moving WSW to ENE. I got a very short video of the last second and the bright burn and you can't see the small white light on the video. It was most likely space junk burning up. We were sitting in the back yard, when I looked up and seen a bright orange ball of light moving roughly south to north. As the ball got into line of vision dead on it changed course and started moving east. About 20 seconds later there was another one as bright as the first that changed direction at the same point. Now with 2 in vision heading east another one came from south and followed, followed by a 4th ball that had the same behavior. Witness provides no contact information. PD

Honestly, they were probably just lanterns flying in the sky, but I can't find reference to them anywhere, and oddly enough they either went out or disappeared over my street. At that time of night they would have probably been floating for a fair amount of time if they were coming from a carnival or firework display of some sort. Just would love to confirm this since they were rather interesting and beautiful floating much lower than a plane or helicopter-they were in a crooked line, and perhaps as high as one might see a large balloon or high flying kite. No photos; my phone was dead.

My girlfriend and I were sitting on the front porch of our home located on the western side of Tallahassee, FL. I was on my phone, looking up something on the internet, when she asks me, “What’s that?” I turn around to see an orange light in the sky. From where I was sitting it was moving right to left, seemingly in the direction of Panama City. At first, I didn’t think it was out of the ordinary. But then we saw lights dropping from object. I pulled up the camera on my phone and zoomed in while my girlfriend ran inside to get a roommate to come see. I tapped the video button on my phone to switch from camera to video recorder and I assumed it was recording but unfortunately you have to hit the red circle and I was too focused in on the object to notice that it didn’t record. While zoomed in, the object appeared to be oblong in shape, but it was hard to tell as the resolution wasn’t that great. The part that really intrigued me was the lights that fell from the object. It reminded me of molten metal, dripping from the object. The lights were exactly the same color as the object, as seemed to burn out shortly after separating from the object. After watching the object for 2 or 3 minutes, it started to dim, and dim some more until it was gone. It disappeared before it should have left my line of sight.

While stargazing, my friend and I saw a light, which was the size and shape of a star, crossing the sky at a fast speed, obviously too high to be a plane and moving too fast to be a satellite. The object traveled across the sky steadily before slowing down, making a radius type turn and continuing out of sight. I've been watching the skies for 40+ years and never saw anything like this.

I was sitting in my living room watching tv, when I noticed a light moving across the sky through the window. I went outside expecting to hear a helicopter because it was too low to be a plane. It was very bright and completely silent moving in a straight line. It flickered and was almost pink in color. It was easily seen for four or five minutes and then disappeared. My husband observed it for a moment with me before it disappeared. It wasn't so far away that we couldn't see it, it just vanished while it was easily observable! The sky was very clear, no clouds, and no sound other than cars occasionally on the road. I could see the lights of planes much farther up but this was much lower and much slower. Certainly close enough that we should have heard it.

Blue light on I-75 falls from the sky, and then disappears. Night time, so it was very clear. This report originally was posted, indicating the state in which the sighting had occurred was Kansas. A visitor to our site corrected the error, pointing out that the state probably was Kentucky. We have amended the report above to reflect Kentucky. PD

On May 23, 2015, at approximately 2:50 am eastern time, one airplane, with flashing lights, was seen heading a northeast direction towards Syracuse. Approximately 4 seconds after the plane passes, I observed a round light that was constant, moving in the same direction as plane but slower, no flashing lights. About 4 to 5 seconds after light passed, another plane coming from same direction but appeared to be more north but heading same path as the first plane and light object, this one also had flashing lights, indicating to me as a airplane. My first guess is it may have been a satellite. My background would indicate that I may be paranoid, however I felt the need to report Even if it could have been a common manmade object. While sitting on our back porch, which faces due east, I saw an extremely large, bright light. Most of the stars were "gone" due to the twilight. It wasn't blinking. There was no sound. It was a white light. Just a little smaller than a dime at arm's length. There are some trees about a block away and it was higher than them. It made a slight decent as it traveled from south to north then made a literal " right turn" and shot out of sight! It wasn't a sweeping turn, it was heading north then abruptly shot to the east in a blink!! The duration of the whole sighting was about 4 to 5 seconds. My husband and I are avid sky watchers and know satellites, jets and the Space Station when we see them. This wasn't any of those!! Hopefully someone else saw this and reported it somewhere!

Was just out walking my dog and looking up at the stars. I observed two lights that were in line with each other as if one was chasing the other. They moved at the speed that I usually see in rockets from the cape. I observed both objects for approx. 2 minutes until they got dimmer and I could no longer observe them. They looked similar to satellites but it's too late in the night to observe. Not to mention it was two in tandem. I am a current law enforcement officer with many years on night shift, so I am very familiar with flight paths of incoming and outgoing flights over my airspace.

I was outside having a cup of coffee enjoying the morning sun before going to work. I was doing some stretching and yoga and laid back and looked up at the clear blue sky. A star like object caught my eye. At first I thought it was a jet at very high altitude with the sun's light was reflecting off of it. However, it was not moving. It was stationary at very high altitude. Not flickering, not flashing. no changing color. Just a star like object stationary for at least 30 min. During this time I called Tallahasse airport and asked to speak to the tower. After being shuffled around and having to tell my story severaL times, I spoke to the tower and they did not have anything on radar. I also took approximately 10 photos with my smartphone. I could not tell if I had got the object in the photos but I did notice while taking them that a contrail was present in my camera screen, but not visible to my naked eye. I then went in to work, and looked at the photos and saw the pictures did capture the contrail, and a couple did have the star object but only visble on greater magnification, although somewhat fuzzy. Most interesting are the round shadow like objects captured in the photos but not visible to my naked eye. I also captured a jet in one photo and it does give one a bit of a perspective. Could it have been Venus, Jupiter, or Saturn visible at 8:30 am on a bright sunny morning? I dont know. I think it was really a object at very high altitute maybe 50-100,000 ft. There were a couple of jets that went by during the event and this object was higher. The contrail and round grey shadow objects appear to be at different altitudes. I dont think they are ghost images or reflections off of something. I took several photos with them in the photos and they are in the same location (using the playfort fabric roof as a reference point). I am sure I moved around and took each photo from a slightly different location, yet the objects appear in the same location in the sky. Maybe you guys have someone that can analyze the photos.

Looking southeast from my front deck I saw a flashing light in the clear night sky. It was about 20 degrees above the horizon. It moved from the 11 o'clock position to the 1 o'clock position. It went up and down but it did so only diagonally. It changed colour from flashing white to flashing neon blue. I heard no sound. It looked like it might have been hovering over the water between Gabriola Island and downtown Nanaimo. It was witnessed by three of my roommates. I had binoculars as well as my roommate. I have no idea what it was, It looked like a flashing blob and could be egg shaped. I took video of it on my cell phone and zoomed in on it but still cant figure out what I saw.

While sitting outside my condo I always watch the airliners ascending from Reagan National Airport. Tonight I heard the sound of a jet fighter patrolling high in the sky. At about 9:30 PM I was looking east, up at about 40 degrees altitude when I saw a greenish tinted bright light that was moving just perceptibly up and down in the sky. After it moved up and down and up and down again it rapidly fell straight down. My 6-story high building then obscured it further from view. I was outside having a cigarette last night with my boyfriend and I looked up towards the Western sky and saw what I thought was a shooting star. I then realized that it was actually 2 points of white light that appeared to me about a centimeter apart (obviously they must have been much farther apart, but that is how it appeared to the naked eye). At first I thought it must be a plane or a satellite, but it seemed higher up than a plane would be traveling and lower than a satellite. It was moving very quickly through my line of vision which also disproved my plane/satellite theory. The pin point lights followed each other in the same formation through the sky from the north side of my vision until I couldn't see them anymore to the south (about 30 seconds). It did not appear to be a plane of any sort because of its altitude and speed, and the lights appeared to be chasing each other towards the south in a parallel line. This is the first time I have seen anything with my own eyes that I might possibly construe as a UFO. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD
