Cape Coral, FL

While driving in my vehicle at approximately 22:00hrs, I observed 3 orange glowing objects toward the north east. The three objects were in a triangular pattern very high up in the night sky and changing their positions not necessarily holding the triangular pattern all the time. Then the three objects separated and one of them came directly at me over head moving west bound while maintaining its height. The other two went up. One went very fast. So fast that I blinked as it was moving and it was gone. The last one also was traveling upward at a much slower speed until it went out of sight. These objects were at the altitude of conventional aircraft or maybe a little higher. They didn't move like conventional aircraft and the glowing orange light which they emitted never pulsated but was constant. There were no other lights associated with them such as conventional aircraft are equipped with. I was not able to exit my vehicle due to the flow of traffic behind me and am unable to witness to if they made any sound. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. Lake George, NY

I was in Lake George, NY, for bike week and on June 5th. Approximately 2130, my two friends and I were sitting in a park waiting for the fireworks to begin. I looked to the north and saw a redish/orange light all of a sudden that wasn’t there a few minutes ago. I watched the light as it moved very slowly across the sky. Then all of a sudden the movements became very rapid and started moving up and down and all around ….then it just stopped. I asked my two friends next to me if they see it and they had also noticed it. We watched for a few more minutes and then is slowly sank behind the trees in the horizon. About 10-15 to fifteen minutes later it reappeared to the south of us….many many miles from where it was originally seen. It seemed to hover and then move slowly and then it sped up and stopped. It stayed there until the fireworks began and then seemed to mover directly over-head of them. It stayed there and seemed to “watch” what was going on until the fireworks ending and just disappeared by seemingly moving higher up in the sky until it just disappeared It never came back.

Sumner, WA

Around 11:45 pm on Thursday, June 4th. I wanted to go outside with the dog to cool off. We walked out the front door of our apt and turned left. She was sniffing around for somewhere to pee, and I see this super bright light, low in the sky. The sky was dark, thin veil of clouds, could barely tell they were there. Lots of stars out. This light was odd because it seemed to be located near the flight path, (Sea-Tac is about 15 miles away) and was extremely low-–lower than the planes flying. It looked like a bright white light and I couldn’t tell if it was moving. Sometimes I get self conscious watching the sky because I can imagine what people think of me always watching the sky at night. My neighbors had their parents in their 5th wheel near where I was standing. I decided to get my binoculars out of the car and hoped I could see from there so that the neighbor’s parents couldn’t see me. I could not see anything from the car so walked back to where I had been. At first, the light looked like one bright white light but as I watched it, it changed to a fiery orange. That’s when I noticed that it was moving very slowly. I could tell because there is a row of decorative tall trees at the barrier of the apts and the mobile home park. The light was above the trees in the beginning but it moved to the left, then lowered a little so it was below the treetops and then moved to the right about 2 trees over. Once it cleared treetops again, it got very orange and at one point, through the binoculars, it looked almost like two headlights. Problem is, I think the kids dropped my binoculars because it looks like double vision so not sure if what I seen was really how it looked. What was odd is that normally when I look through them, if I’m trying to zone in on a single light/star in the night sky these days; it looks like two but far apart. This light looked like two orange headlights close together, really close together. It kept moving to the right now and it moved back to the left one more time and t! hen must have moved away from my sight beyond the trees because I never saw it come out either side or up over the trees again. This whole time, the dog was lying down in the grass and her rope was lying near my feet. Suddenly, a cat walked in front of us and the dog lunged to chase it and I nearly fell. I decided to go in at that time which was about 12:10pm. This sighting lasted probably 10 to 15 minutes. It seems that somebody in our town had to have seen this. I am thinking it was clearly visible near Sumner/Milton border. Many years ago when I lived on Wood Avenue, I had a most amazing sighting – the brightness of that light reminded me of this one as well as how low it was. That sighting lasted about 2 hours and it changed to green, blue and a most beautiful teal color. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Yes, Thursday, June 4th - sorry. ((END ADDENDUM)) We have amended the date of the sighting above. PD

Delavan, WI

My wife went out to the front porch for a smoke. Suddenly she called me out and she pointed to the sky asking “what are those.” What we saw initially were three lights reddish amber in color and the first three were followed by three more of the same size and color. Being late at night it was hard to distinguish the altitude of the reddish amber lights, but I would estimate them being at least a thousand feet high in the sky. They ran silently from the direction of the city of Elkhorn over the city of Delavan in the direction of Janesville. The lights were very bright and were spaced apart by what appeared to be several hundred feet. They glided across the sky all in the same direction and path. My wife, daughter, grandson, and I watched them fly over our neighborhood and disappeared into the dark sky. The lights made no sound and were definitely not Japanese Lanterns or flares. There was no smoke trail, and the lights did not flicker like a flame. We saw no strobing red or other color lights on the objects. I did contact the local police department to report them. I did not have my camera with me.

Gulf Shores, AL

(The diagrams and pictures provided are not from the actual event. Just images to help with explaining what I saw. The numbers in the pictures explain the path it took starting with 1.) I am a 30 year old male. I am in Alabama, vacationing at Gulf Shores. I was playing volleyball on the beach with my family when I saw a ball of light move through the sky unlike any aircraft I've seen before. I was facing east around 8 p.m., and there was large storm clouds in that direction heading out to the gulf. Every five minutes or so there would be heat lightning or flashes of lighting that remained in the clouds. The lightning never made any sounds. Just before a volley started in a game, my attention was drawn towards a ball of light that came out of the cloud. It did not make a sound. It was the size, brightness, and color of a planet being observed in the night sky. White in color and bright. The light emitted was consistent, unblinking. The object started 200 yards away from me over the pink 7 or 8 story building, it was just below the clouds in height. It moved towards me to the west for about 100 yards, and was over the tan 7 to 8 story building. I pointed at it and told everyone to look. Everyone's attention was to the start of the game. The object then changed direction back to west a 100 yards over the pink building, to the point I first saw it, and then dropped in elevation to what I'm guessing was about 100 feet. It immediately increased speed and elevation back into the clouds. As it was in the clouds, the light it emitted was slightly blurred and then not visible. This all occurred in about five seconds. I saw it, paused, said "hey look at that", it manueverd away from our position, and was gone. I began to discuss what I saw with members of my family for about 10 minutes after the event. At the end of that time, a military jet flew along the beach over our heads very loudly. This was the only time I heard a military jet during the six days I've been at the beach in Gulf Shores.

Bouckville, NY

3 very bright brassy orange colored lights in loose formation seen at approx 1500 foot altitude moving SE to NW across wind. Silent with obvious aircraft in higher background traveling away from lights. Lights were slightly larger than Jupiter in sky and very bright - traveled smoothly and slowly until "dimming out" and disappearing when almost overhead. Considered that may have been luminaria or fire kites, but brightness and simultaneous disappearance is problematic. Sky was dark and very clear with bright stars and high-altitude aircraft visible at the same time as lights.

Sky was mostly clear except for some clouds about 10* above the horizon. Object traveled from about due north to the south. I thought it was the space station until it got to the clouds on the horizion. The speed was that of the space staion when a "visible pass" is observed from my location. Object was beneath the clouds where it stopped and started to rise and travel a few degrees east. At that point, it slowly continued to rise. The object was a brilliant white light as it traveled from north to south but changed to blue, green, red & white. There was no audible indication. I observed the colored lights for over an hour. Using binoculars and a 60x telescope I was not able to determine the actual shape of the object.

Alligator Point, FL

Over the course of 30 minutes multiple orange circular lights appeared in the sky off of the coast of alligator point, FL. They would light up for only a few seconds and then go out. These lights seemed to signal each other. This happened multiple times before the grand finale with all of the lights, a total of 10 or more lights burning all at once. These objects were completely stationary. There was no sound. They were floating in the sky over the ocean and were observed from our balcony. Some of them were single lights and some which were closer had several lights in a horizontal row.

I was in my car heading north on my drive in to work at 6:30am and saw one bright "star" to the north/northwest in the sky. No other stars were visible since there was quite a bit of daylight. The light was whitish blue and flickered, grew about twice the original size, then just disappeared instantly. Possible flare from an Iridium satellite? PD

Mildred, MT

My background includes well over 14 years military experience, general knowledge of civilian and military aircraft operational procedures, and I am very familiar with the area that I work in. My co-worker has worked this area longer than I have and is very good with land marks in the area. At approximately 1:40 am on June 2, 2015, we were doing some work near Mildred, MT. My co-worker had just stepped outside and came back in 3 minutes later looking puzzled, and said "Hey, come look at this". I thought there may have been an equipment issue so I got up. I got out the back door and he was just pointing at this light saying what the hell is that? I looked and saw a strange white light. My co-worker initially thought he was seeing things as we had both been up all day already. That was why he got me in the first place. We initially thought maybe helicopter or drone, but, I have never seen a drone with white light for a spot. Given that civilian and military aircraft have flashing marker lights, we didn't observe any. We decided to flash our flashlights at it which initially got us a response. It shined a bright light at us. We "played" with whatever the object was for the next 2 hours. I went to continue my work while my co-worker was still playing with it. While he was to my rear, the object that would be to my then 10 o'clock, emitted a brighter focused light towards us. We figured had it been people, somebody would have come over to inquire as to why we were shining lights like we were. I gave some directional signals with my flashlight motioning it to come here, go away, and stop. We also used the lights on our equipment to also flash at the object. Generally the response was the same, we flashed it, it would flash back, whether it was flashing the intensity of its light g! etting lighter darker, or shining a light towards us. We left the area about 4-415 am and we were still able to observe this in the same general location and spot. The weather was light to moderate rain, with some heavy downpours and cloud cover was thick. It would have been below the clouds. The size that I would compare it to, is 3-4 times the size of Venus as viewed by the naked eye. Comparing it to my right pinky finger, to watch for movement, the light would appear to be half the width of my finger. Maybe a quarter of an inch. The colors of the light emitted were blue, greenish blue, to a reddish orange. It would also shine a bright clear light. I do know that the moon was more west by southwest of our location and was hidden behind clouds for another 20-30 minutes after we had left. I would also rule out other celestial bodies due to the cloud cover. I do not recognize any of the characteristics of this object when compared to what I normally see in this area. The object did move around a small area during the time we watched. It would move in a north to south, south to north area. Looking at it if I held a ruler up at arm’s le! ngth, it moved maybe 2-3 inches. Back in forth. There was also some movement similar to the curve shape of a satellite dish, moving in one direction, go down then back up, stop and come back in a similar pattern. We are both certain that this was airborne. As a general reference from the railroad track, it was in the direction of 280 degrees, so west by northwest. The location we were looking towards, goes slightly downhill. From the ground, I could vaguely spot the top of the tree line in the distance and it is my belief that what we observed was in the air, at least over 3-500 feet. Whatever it was, I haven't noticed anything like that before in the area. You learn to recognize the terrain by noticing features that stick out. Lights stick out a lot in an area that is very sparsely populated. Given that it is ranch land mainly in the area, I would not believe it was a rancher, it stayed in one location to long. The people in the area are generally pretty friendly and are quick to help a neighbor. I would think that if it had been people, somebody definitely would have come over, or had someone else come over, to see if we were okay. We couldn't hear any sound from it. Whatever the source of the light was, it was absolutely new to me in the area, and as such, unidentifiable.

Salt Lake City, UT

Slightly after 11:35, I was on my front porch enjoying the weather. I saw a bright white flash in the western sky that caught my attention. I looked over, and the light dimmed. It seemed to go from a larger pinhead at arm's length size to a small point, and then headed north at a constant pace. It made no sound, although it was far enough away the city background noise could have drowned it out. I lost sight of the point of light behind a tree. I passed it off as a plane reflecting moonlight. About 11:49, I was still sitting in the same spot, and saw an orange, spherical, pinhead sized light/orb travel east to west between a gap in two buildings. It was also silent and moved steadily. We suspect an evening sighting, but we have no way to confirm that fact. The witness elects to remain totally anonymous, and provides no contact information. We have changed the time above, to reflect a nighttime sighting. PD

Ventnor, NJ

Driving north on Ventnor ave. in Ventnor, NJ, I notice what seemed like a quick flash of light traveling west to east above me. I didn't think much of it. Within approx. 30 seconds, there appeared to be what I thought was a large, hazy search light moving in the sky, but it seemed to be coming from above the clouds rather than from the ground. Within a couple more seconds a second similar light appeared and they would seem to meet each other and then bounce off each other. They did this a few times, and then other lights joined in. At first just a third joined in and then more seemed to join in just seemingly to move randomly in the sky. this lasted about a min. Finally approx. 4 or 5 of these lights rapidly came in from the south east, which is from the ocean, in a straight line, seemed to reach a certain point and then changed direction flying back over the ocean. One light remained in the sky where these lights seemed to bounce off of and then just disappeared into thin air. My first reaction was some sort of search light until all of the formations and zooming and bouncing off each other. I turned down my street, parked the car rapidly walked toward the ocean searching the sky, there was nothing there. I thought I would see police or other people searching the sky there was no on out as it was a dreary rainy night. I went home and surly thought there would be an explanation on the news, I found none. We suspect the lights might have been part of an advertising display. PD

As I was walking my dog, I turned on to a cross street. I saw one green light, followed by a white light. The green light continued to fly on, while the white light stopped to check us out. I said come down here and check us out. The white light stopped and started to come towards me. The white light proceeded to get as close as 50 feet to me until a car turned on the street that my dog and I were on, as the car turned toward us, and the white light flew off slowly and continued to follow the green light. Both green light and white light faded into the distance. There was no fog. They just faded out. We question whether this is a serious report, but we cannot be certain. Object appeared in southern Sky near Hwy 901 and I-77 area. Observed a orange-reddish light traveling from the South headed due North. First observed Orange-reddish coming from the south over the tree line, and thought it was a firework, but then realized it was not traveling up but horizontal from South to North. Followed Orange-reddish light over trees and house. It was traveling too slow to be a small airplane. There was no noise coming from the object. It remained on a steady South to North course and a constant slow speed.

I seen a blueish purple light moving south to north very rapidly. It stopped and went south again before turning east for a mile. It changed color to orange/white as it came east. It then turned and went west changing color back to blue/purple and covering 2 to 3 miles in a matter of 2 seconds. It came back a minute later and did some of the same manuvers zig zaging across the night sky and disappeared again going west. It was located over Interstate-25 in south west Cheyenne. For some reason, witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD
