On 26/08/2015, Wednesday. Mazhuvannor, near Kolenchery Town, Kerala, India We friends were talking near the street at 7pm, and suddenly noticed a light, which is travelling from south to north, We all looked into it carefully, and it went a long way in very high speed which is more than a plane or rocket. Then after sometime it re-traced the path and dissppeared. Then we saw a flight which was travelling from west to east and the sound of flight was audible to us. After the flight went we saw a bigger and brighter light that travelled through the way the flight went and when it reached near moon it blasted.. 08/25/2015, 23:40, 40 degrees from north, 35 degrees horizontal. Stationary object. White constant light. Through binoculars there were red and green balls moving around a constant white light. The balls were moving in a vertical plane. By eye it looked like a plane but it was stationary. The apparent distance seemed off for it to be a star. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) This is a supplemental to my earlier report. I had called the Portsmouth Police and an officer swung by while I was looking at the object through binoculars. I just saw him again and he agrees is a craft. ((END ADDENDUM))

Observed a light, rather bright, but not much larger in apparent diameter than a star or planet, that was clearly changing colors, alternating white, then reddish and greenish, yellow/blue, alternatively, but not at all in the "blinking" fashion of an airplane. Color changes were much slower, changing color every second or so. The light was "scintillating" or pulsing, which could have been caused by the slight wind as well. It was visible in the North-North-West direction, about 40 degrees above the horizon. It was moving slightly, slowly, apparently going further in the north direction, and/or lower toward the horizon. It became hidden behind trees after about 10 minutes of observation. I called two of sons to observe that with me. I tried to take pictures/movies with iPhone but the pictures do not show anything. It could be a distant airplane but I was very surprised by the pace and diversity of changing colors.

I was preparing to photograph the moon, using a 10" SCT telescope, looking through the eyepiece to ensure the moon was centered before attaching the camera. A round, bright, emerald green light flashed thru the eyepiece, left to right. I asked my husband "What was THAT?"; he looked up and saw a single green light slightly above us and to our southwest. I also observed the light without the scope. We immediately dismissed it as an aircraft as we are on the flight path for DC airports, as well as frequent overflights of private aircraft, military aircraft, helicopters, and high-altitude commercial aircraft. In retrospect, however, we realized virtually every passing aircraft has strobing lights, whereas this light was steady. Later, we deliberately observed aircraft on different nights and indeed all exhibited clearly strobing lights, normally red and/or white. At no time did we observe any aircraft exhibiting a single bright green light. We have also frequently observed satellites passing overhead, and this bore no resemblance to them, nor was its behavior or speed anything like meteors we have often observed. We have been intermittently involved in amateur astronomy for close to 30 years and admit, we are skeptical of most UFO reports (not that there is life in the universe, just knowing the distance to even the closest stars would require far more advanced civilizations to overcome the distance and time). Conditions at the time: partly cloudy, rural location with some horizon sky glow.

Dans la nuit du 23 au 24 août 2015 des témoins sont intrigués par la présence dans le ciel parisien d'une lueur rouge intense. Ils rapportent indépendamment leur observation. Le premier témoin commence son observation le 23 août 2015 à partir de 23h25 : il observe une lueur rouge très brillante dans le ciel parisien en direction du Sud-Est. Cette lumière semble permanente (avec un changement d'intensité) et bouge légèrement dans le ciel avant de revenir à sa position initiale. Très intrigué, le témoin prend des photographies avec son smartphone et observe le phénomène jusqu'à 01h du matin avant d'aller se coucher (voir le compte-rendu d'enquête). Un second témoin le 24 août 2015 à 0h58 observe, durant 10 minutes, une boule de couleur rouge-feu située au Nord-Ouest au-dessus des immeubles parisiens. Le témoin a le temps de prendre trois photographies avec un téléphone portable. Rentré pour réveiller son épouse, l'objet aura disparu lorsqu'il reviendra à la fenêtre (voir le compte-rendu d'enquête). Les témoignages sont consistants, avec suffisamment de données fournies par les témoins et exploitables. Plusieurs photographies du PAN ont été faites et ont pu être utilisées pour l’analyse aboutissant à des recoupements fructueux. En conclusion, les caractéristiques physiques et dynamiques du PAN observé et photographié par les témoins s’apparentent à celles d’un puissant laser rouge utilisé par un particulier dans Paris, depuis un sommet d’immeuble, et dont la tache lumineuse produite par son impact sur la couche nuageuse/brumeuse basse s’apparente au PAN. Les conditions de luminosité ambiante environnant les témoins lors de leur observation et de ses prises de vue empêchent que le faisceau de ce laser soit visible, aussi bien à l’œil nu que par le capteur photographique, sauf après amélioration d’une des photographies. L’étrangeté de ce cas est finalement assez faible et est surtout causée par l’intensité lumineuse du PAN et sa persistance pendant plus d’une heure trente. Les deux témoignages font l'objet d'une analyse indépendante grâce aux photographies et aux témoignages consistants (voir les comptes-rendus d'enquêtes). Ce cas est à classer en « B» comme observation probable de la tache lumineuse sur la couverture nuageuse ou brumeuse d’un puissant laser rouge, projeté depuis le sommet d’un des immeubles du 11ième arrondissement de Paris. Le 23 aout 2015 à 22h25 deux témoins observent dans le ciel le déplacement d'un phénomène lumineux qui se déplace à vitesse constante. Cependant le PAN change faiblement plusieurs fois de direction (Nord puis NO puis enfin Nord) ce qui intrigue les observateurs. Un seul questionnaire est rempli. D’étrangeté moyenne, mais de consistance suffisante (nombreux détails cohérents et précis permettant de crédibiliser le cas), ce cas s'avère être une méprise classique avec un passage satellitaire. Une recherche plus poussée a permis de trouver deux satellites qui sont très probablement à la source de cette méprise : IGS 5 H2A rocket, dont la luminosité correspond avec celle du PAN, et dont la trajectoire est très proche, et Iridium 16, satellite hors-contrôle dont la trajectoire et la vitesse apparente correspondent à celle du PAN. Le GEIPAN classe ce cas A, méprise avec un satellite, bien qu’un doute subsiste sur l’identité exacte de celui-ci. [GEIPAN classification A — Satellite]

A bright, star like figure moving quickly across the sky. It was moving erratically and very quickly at first, then it slowed down slightly and zigzagged across the sky for the next couple of minutes, until it left our field of vision.

My husband and I saw an object that resembled a star, traveling over "the 3 sisters"/pioneer peak area. It was moving quickly and disappeared behind a small cloud. It never reappeared. I witnessed a similar star-like object flying over Lazy Mt near Palmer in March of 2014. I watched it for several minutes. It suddenly turned upward and disappeared.

Light moving in all different directions at different elevations. It may have been more than one but it was pulsing. Like a strobe light with no pattern. I was driving and we saw it. It was pretty intense.

At or around 21:50 EST, we saw 3 orange colored lights in an inverted pyramid shape. It was located to the left of the big dipper. It appeared to be moving slowly towards our direction. About 20 seconds later the bottom right light flickered out. Then about 20 seconds after that the bottom left did the same thing. Moved very slow from NE to SW at 40.6176° N, 74.0117° W. Within 20-30 seconds began accent/climb and within 10-20 seconds jetted deep into space like nothing I have ever seen. The ascent was something out of star wars/star trek. I was blown away to see how fast the object/light moved into deep space. At one point it appeared to climb as high as the stars. No noise. Totally silent. Light was not small.

My wife and I witnessed 4 lighted objects in the sky at approximately 9pm tonight over Williamsport PA. The objects were west of our vantage point moving slowly across the the sky from a North to South direction. At first we thought they were a formation of 4 helicopters, but there was no noise and no strobe lights. -just a dimly flickering firey orangish redish color. The 4 objects were moving in unison with 2 together slightly ahead of the other 2, which were together. From our vantage point the 4 objects formed what looked like a rectangle if you were to connect the dots. They then slowly (about 10 seconds) became dimmer and disappeared. We saw a few red lights in the sky while in the car driving. We pulled over to get a better look. There ended up being at least 30 red lights in a formation and close together.

When my family and I arrived at our Baldwin home, just after 9:00 p.m., we spotted a string of at least five orange lights flying equidistant from each other in a linear formation over Pittsburgh. The lights came from out of the north and arced toward the west, where we lost sight of them. No sound was heard coming from the lights, and they were low enough in the sky that we would have heard engines if they were a standard aircraft. What we witnessed bears a similarity to a report filed on this site on 10/11/14 21:15. We also live in the vicinity of the Allegheny County Airport. I'm not looking for ET, just a plausible answer. I don't believe this was the ISS or its re-supply ship.

Another viewer on this site reported July 23, 2015, from Titusville, FL, exactly what we saw on August 22, 2015 at around 8:20PM. The picture this person took is EXACTLY what we saw! It was a clear evening sky around 8:20 PM and 3 of us were in the backyard eating, having great conversation. I looked up at the moon and I pointed out the bright star next to the moon. My wife and our friend looked up and saw the bright star. I continued to look at this bright star while my wife and friend continued their conversation. Then the bright star started to move. I told my wife and friend to look at what I thought was a star, that is now moving. We first observed this object slightly to the right of the moon. It then started to move left and passed in front of the moon. Once it passed the moon, it stopped for a few seconds and then continued its path slowly pass the moon until it just faded away.

Approx 30secs after it left my view due to trees the exact same thing happened again. 30 secs later another one. The 4th object had a solid red light, but moved just as slow. About 1 min after red light left my view it was back to dim white flashing light, and 1 min later, I saw the last same white flashing light. I saw it from DFW airport, SSE. 21:10 hrs. It was glowing like when you see Jupiter or Saturn, but bigger. Steady, no flashing. It started to descend slowly and vertically. Then it moved diagonally downward and eastward until it stopped at some point. Then, the bright light started to dim away until it became a dim orange ball. Then it turned to an orange ring and then it stopped glowing.

I took a trip from Boston, MA to Los Angeles, CA 8/13-23, 2015 and stayed with my friend in Sherman Oaks. He had tickets to attend the Hollywood Bowl Friday 8/21 to see the rock band Heart. We arrived around 6:30pm and sat at his box seats in the garden section in time to eat our picnic dinner before the 8pm showtime. Just before 8pm I was looking around because I have only been to the Hollywood Bowl once before and I was excited to be there again. Behind me was a half moon in the SSW sky. By now the sky was dark but it was a clear night and the weather was perfect. A bit cool but I was comfortable wearing a sweatshirt and long pants. Just before the show began I happened to look up. There were Klieg lights crisscrossed right above the stage where they intersected creating a giant "X". My eyes followed them to where they met above in a crystal clear sky and I was amazed to see this UFO! It was right above the "X" of lights and stationary. I could clearly see two round red lights to the right and two round green lights to the left. I could not see a craft but I felt the lights were part of the same structure. It was about the size of my thumbnail held at arms length. I was amazed. It was so obvious that I wondered if anyone else saw it. By 8pm the Hollywood Bowl conductor Thomas Wilkins took the stage and led us in the National Anthem. Afterwards he introduced the first act before they took the stage. I could not keep my eyes off this UFO. I wanted to watch the show but could not help looking up. Then it dawned on me to take some video with my iPhone 5c. I lined up the image and hit record. This is when I recorded the first video at 8:07pm. I recorded the second video at 8:08 which was zoomed in to the lights and gives you a good idea of how it looked. Since it was shot with an iPhone at night it is a bit blurry. I have submitted two very short videos of the object as well as a still shot. You can hear the conductor in the background speaking to the audience in the videos. The unusual thing for me was that I was sure I recorded at least 10 minutes of video but when I looked later I realized I only captured less than 20 seconds between the two videos. I use video all the time so I was very surprised this happened. I must say I was VERY excited because I have seen UFO's in CA before but they were not this impressive. I almost felt as if this thing was watching us. I must admit I was also a bit nervous and tried to pass the lights off as a drone or balloon yet it was neither one of those. It was stationary most of the time right above my head, facing North about halfway up the sky. Because It was above me I had to strain my neck to watch it sitting there. After a while my neck hurt so I began watching the show instead. When I looked back up again I was surprised to see it gone! I searched the sky and saw it moving toward the NNW horizon. It was moving rather fast but as I watched it, it stopped, again I felt it knew I saw it. I got goose bumps. This is when I thought I recorded another 10 minutes of it. Just below the lights in the WNW are large trees and through the trees I saw a strobe light flashing on & off. I thought it odd but it could be manmade, the object was heading in that direction. After about 10 more minutes it fell behind the trees and that was the last I saw of it. It was in the sky for about 45 minutes! I feel it was too large to be a drone and the fact that it stopped and started on it's own would rule out a balloon. Also the eerie feeling I got watching it watching me was uncanny. There was a sellout crowd at the Bowl that night and I wonder if anyone else saw what I recorded. I went on the internet to see if anyone had posted anything on Youtube and found this video which is very close to what I saw. It also was shot in CA so maybe what I saw was indeed a UFO. At 0:15 I heard a very load helicopter. I step outside to a cloudy dark moonless night. So, trying to perceive the direction. I quickly realized that it was directly in front of me moving toward me. As I started watching the chopper which looked as a military black chopper moving very fast. As it cleared the tree line 50 feet from me I could clearly see the chopper and the front blacked out, a red solid light on the left side and I beleive a green flashing light on right. It was only 300 feet max probably 250 above me. I'm no expert but I've lived 500 feet from a small airport behind my house and that was the direction they where flying. At that point I realized that about 100 feet in front of the chopper was what I took as a bright orange star. Silent and moving fast. As the 2 flew over me directly, I had to twist my head, and spin directly behind, to watch the chopper chasing this star disappear over the tree line. It was less than a minute that even the sound of this very loud chopper was gone. I proceeded with a horrible headache.

There are what looks like stars in the sky, but they move and dance around great distances. It is not temperature caused atmospheric wave distortions. These stars actually move about sometimes rapidly, sometimes a hand width at arm's length, sometimes not very far. It is hard to judge because they are way up there and we are down here on the ground. I have not heard any one else mention this phenomenon. Not on Coast to Coast nor any other place. Surely I am not the only person on earth to have noticed this strange happening. We suspect "twinkling" stars, but cannot be certain. PD
