Suite à l'acquisition d'un nouveau camescope, un particulier fait des essais en filmant un hélicoptère. Au visionnage, il constate alors la présence d'une sphère grise tout au long de la prise de vue. Malheureusement, le témoin n'a pas souhaité que son film soit diffusé bien que ce document soit un exellent exemple du genre. Cette vidéo montre, de façon quasi certaine, un tout petit objet qui passe tout près de l'objectif, sans être nécessairement remarqué par l'opérateur, très probablement un insecte ou un oiseau. Ce genre de document (photo ou vidéo) se rencontre assez souvent, depuis l'apparition des appareils numériques et notamment des compacts, dont la très courte distance focale fait que de tels petits objets ne sont pas totalement floués et donc "dilués" dans le paysage, comme ils le seraient en photographie argentique ou en vidéo classique."
