As I was exiting my car in the driveway I saw a commercial airplane overhead making it's way to the Pittsburgh International Airport west of the city. While looking at the plane I noticed a bright object below the plane traveling SE to NW, very slowly. The object had no wings, was completely silent, and reflected the evening sun on what appeared to be a highly reflective surface. Feeling the impulse to get a better look, I ran into my house to get my field binoculars for a closer look, but by the time I got back outside to the front of my house, it was nowhere in sight. In my opinion, since it was traveling so slowly, it boggled my mind to have flown off so quickly by conventional methods. This leads me to the conclusion that it wasn't anything conventional.

I woke up, out of the blue at 12:10am. I could not sleep, so I heated up some leftovers and sat on couch with lights off, in order to not wake my fiancé and baby. As I was eating, I noticed a group of red lights flying west to east that caught my attention. The lights stopped and hovered for about 10 seconds, flashed different colored lights, and then started heading west again. 15 seconds later, it was back, but this time flying like a hummingbird, stop go, stop go, stop go. I have never in my life seen anything fly like this. It was definitely NOT man made. This UFO seemed to be scanning or taking pictures of something near my backyard. After it flashed red lights a few times, it just zoomed away heading west, till I could not see it anymore. This thing made NO SOUND WHATSOEVER! Did anyone one else see it/them? Then we walk back to our hotel and my husband and I sit on our balcony, when we saw it again, but this time got it on camera, and it disappeared once, then quickly we saw it again. While watching fireworks, I saw two red dots a little bigger than Venus (?) which was directly to the South. They were almost attached together it seemed in a vertical position with another green light halfway between them protruding to the left. I heard no noise and most of the time the object was behind two large elm trees so I couldn't see much of it. It did move out to the West and completely stopped for three or four minutes. Then it reversed course and returned to where it had been behind the trees. I also saw it move in a curved or irregular motion then stop inexplicably It couldn't be an airplane because it would be motionless for a few minutes at a time. All the while the three lights retained the same position with regard to each other, with the two red lights in a vertical alignment. Once or twice I saw it zig-zag then completely stop. It seemed capable of moving at least three or four thousand miles an hour and then completely stopping. The las! t glimpse I got of it it was moving South toward the horizon and slowly out of sight. It made no noise and seemed so far away that I couldn't make out what it could be. I know it sounds silly but it seemed to be watching the fireworks far below in Pueblo. Could it be some people on Earth with laser lights all focused on one point to create the illusion of something solid in the sky?

We were watching the Lena fireworks from a nearby field from a parked truck.... we saw a small red glowing cylinder moving fairly quickly coming over from a different direction of the fireworks....it was traveling perfectly straight and level....then another one and after a short while a 3rd one....they all were traveling the exact same path....and they all disappearing at the same spot over/in front of us....about 40 to 50 feet off the ground.....it was not fireworks. these were also witnessed by my neighbor and 30 people having a cookout a mile away, he stated when they first saw the first one, it was hovering. There were no lights on the object but it had a soft red glow and was about a foot long.

The object appeared out of nowhere, & then seemed to just stop, hovering in the sky, at the moment I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, maybe for 5 seconds I was staring at this, when out of nowhere it seemed to just vanish…. Has anyone reported seeing this 7-4-16? (This was around 3pm, & defiantly was not a fire work, the skies were blue, w/no clouds in the way of this sighting…)

I was in my back yard with my son flying a RC airplane when I just happend to see a cylinder shaped object above the clouds. I tried to keep an eye on it but I didnt want to crash my airplane so I had to switch between the plane and object while I landed the plane. I observed the white colored object go behind the clouds and reappear. The thing appeared to move very slow and made no noise. I can't really say as to the size of the object with nothing else in the sky to compare it to but if I had to guess I would say the length of an airliner but twice the diameter. The object had just a dull white color, no markings, and nothing that would suggest control surfaces or engines. Once I landed my RC plane which was about 30 seconds after I spotted the object, It had disappeared. I did not see it vanish nor did I hear anything. There were only a few clouds in the sky that evening so I dont think it could just hide in a cloudbank.

On June 30, 2016 1:15am. My wife and myself who are both medical professionals and we were stargazing which we do on a regular basis. We are accustomed to spotting all types of aircraft and satellites. We observed the enclosed cylinder shaped UFO at approximately 10,000 feet. The night sky was totally clear with no haze or moonlight showing. The craft moved silently from the south moving towards the north. It was moving much faster than any plane or satellite. It took about 10 seconds to cross our observed night sky. Both ends of the cylinder appeared illuminated and the center almost appeared translucent.

Craft was moving slowing south to north directly overhead and either was lit by the setting sun or had fire onboard. The orange glow was all I saw at first (I thought it was Mars) and then seemed to pulse and flicker only illuminating one side and eventually went out completely leaving a barrel or boxy cylinder shape moving slowly away. I was able to view the craft for approx. 1.5 minutes through binoculars until I lost it behind trees. Perhaps a Chinese lantern?

Object first appeared as a bright dot in a clear blue sky. Viewed through binoculars, the object could best be described as a motionless, vertical Saturn V rocket minus the capsule, tilted, with the top a bit to the left and the bottom a bit to the right. It was approx. the same shade of white as you would have seen on those old Saturn V's as well. Object maintained size, shape, color, position and attitude for approx. 5 minutes, then drifted East/Northeast, disappearing behind some fairly tall trees 100 feet from my position. Altitude was significant based on the focus of binoculars to view it, but I won't venture a guess, not knowing its actual size. My sighting occurred less than a mile away from a similar sighting in Webster, MA, on the 22nd of June (listed on the NUFORC site). First thoughts were that I was viewing a balloon, but now not so sure.

This photograph was taken last evening at my house near Bow during a test session with my Leica R lenses and a new Sony A7 Mark II camera. I was shooting at the open blue sky at f/11 to see whether the imperfections on my images were caused primarily by dust motes on the camera sensor or in the lenses. This particular shot was taken with a 35mm f/2.0 Leica R focused at infinity and stopped down to f/11. I saved the images to my laptop, then pulled up each one and put it in Paint so I could examine it closely, and then draw circles around each "dust mote" to see if they remained in the same place (sensor) or only showed up on a particular lens. I was examining each magnified photo,seeing that I had also photographed some distant birds flying quite high, and came across what looks to be some sort of large and long metallic cylinder, obviously shining in the sun. You can see that the side facing the sun (right and west) is reflecting the light while the other side (left and east) is in shadow conforming with the sun being lower on the horizon tot he right (west). I did not actually see this object but only discovered that I had unintentionally taken a picture of it after the fact. As I finished marking the slide, I noticed what looks to perhaps be a second cylindrical object, far less clearly defined but it looks the same (lower left). The primary object would have been too high to make out with the naked eye. The object does not appear in any of the other lens shots so it is likely that it was moving. I cannot figure out what this might be. Checked for the ISS but it had gone by much earlier here and besides would not likely show up with a 35mm wide angle lens. I am thinking that if this is an item inside the lens, it would also be out of focus and there would not be sunlight shining on it. Cannot think of any obvious explanation for what this might be. Incidentally, I have been an ornithologist for 50 years so am a very experienced observer of items in the sky.

I was outside with the dog and looked up to see an orange fiery looking cylinder shape travelling across the night sky very slowly, south to north direction. Kept watching it trying to figure out what I was seeing...at one point while it was leaving my field of vision, it looked like something sparked off of it… I watched it until I couldn't see it any longer. Cannot make sense of it. If this is a sincere report, which we question, the object may have been a high-altitude airliner, reflecting sunlight. PD

while coming home from a camping trip in Tahoe on alt 95 just before entering Yerington I caught a glare from something in the sky (it almost blinded me as the morning sun reflected strongly off it). I looked to see a silver cylindrical object hovering about 35 miles south west of Yerington. The object quickly vanished from my view.

I was driving on Washington Ave in Portland, ME, stopped at a stop light. The sky was clear today and there were no clouds or trees obstructing my view. It was a bright sunny afternoon and this happened around 3:30 PM. I saw an object that looked like a horizontal cylinder - shades of white and gray, not shiny, no lights. I only saw it for about one second, just long enough to see it was moving from right to left (northeast to southwest). About a second after I started tracking the object with my eyes, it simply vanished. While it was visible to me, it looked like how planes look sometimes when you can't see their wings so they look kind of like a UFO until they change angles so you can see the wings. In that one instant, that's what I thought it probably was, until it disappeared. The object was perhaps about 45-60 degrees from the plane of the horizon, and I'd guess its length was about 1/3 to 1/4 the angular diameter of the full moon.

My wife and kids went into a 7-Eleven, I was parked outside and the sun roof of my car was open and I happen to look up and there was cigar-shape almost looked like two train cars together and we came out of one cloud and went into another cloud so smoothly and so slow it could have been their conventional aircraft. There was some brain it look like if the Sun was shining off of them or break them where and it was like a really white and then the sky was a really nice blue the clouds restaurant near me brilliant around this thing as well size of these objects was what really confuse me because I don't know how something that big who Coast through the sky so smoothly I just I was going to fall I would like to remain anonymous I don't want anyone to contact me unless it's serious and I don't want my name or anything or my identity to be public

My dad is driving on the highway and i saw a silver shiny metalic shape just hovering over the ground, it was maybe 30 foot wide and not really tall. Shaped like a cigar or cylinder, then suddenly it started to fade away, kind of strange, like if it was becoming invisible. No, it was not a plane nor a drone.

December 12, 2016. This happened on the evening of June 12th or the 13th of 2016. I was walking up my outside stairs headed south, my home blocks the west side area until I am all the way up the stairs. this was in the evening time I dont know the time, but it was dark. I was in about the middle of the stairs, I turned up and was facing south, suddenly I saw what to me was a huge cylinder of light with white like clouds whirling around in it as it came across the sky it was light in it like day and inside swirilling fast. I say the cylinder was about a 50 degree angle when it came from the West, I never saw the tail end. what puzzles me the most was that the light came across like an unfolding light, it had an end to the light in the front, I never saw the end of a flashlights that was pointed in the sky, it shot across so fast, maybe I saw it for about 4 to 5 seconds, it had stopped and it was just there, then in the blink of an eye the lights just closed and dissapered, dark sky and nothing more. it was gone and dark again. I estimated that the cylinder (I call it a cylinder because it was round ) to be maybe a mile away, but in my mind it was closer than that, not really sure. I would say for comparison the cylinder was about as wide and as round as a Train engine or a box car from a train., but it was round. from the ground level I was at.

I was driving my teens back from school via Route 2 East on a sunny, nearly cloudless afternoon from Monroe to Gold Bar. As we neared Startup, my son pointed out the window and asked, "What's that up there?" We all three observed a huge floating cylinder above the foothills, between Gold Bar and possibly Index. It was hard to tell exactly what part of the countryside it was floating over, it was so high up. It was very, very high up, so it must have been enormous. It was just hanging there, not moving at all. We watched it all the way home and when we got out of the car, we continued to watch it for about five more minutes as it slowly moved east, farther into the mountains. It made no sound at all. It was upright, but tilted. I have no idea why none of us thought to take a picture with my cell phone, but we didn't. We were too busy goggling at it.

I saw an object about the size of a 55 gallon drum, glowing amber, without bright lights, floating over the top of the houses in my neighborhood, while I was walking my dog. I observed that it flowed over the top of the houses, then floating between two street lights, then up past some trees at the end of the street and then it faded from vision as it moved out into space. I drew pictures of it when I got home. It was glowing amber; it was not bright light and seem to be glowing from the inside. It was the shape of a cylinder or a 55 gallon drum. The barrel type of object floated quietly. I asked someone who I saw on the street about 5 minutes later if they had seen it and they said no. I'd really like to know what it was.
