After filing an initial report, I went back outside and to my surprise I saw one more object with the same orange/salmon flickering light. This one was moving southwest to northeast at a constant steady speed. The object was almost straight above slightly to the west out of the moons light. No sound was present again and altitude was hard to determine as there were no clouds in the object's immediate area. This time however just before the object disappeared the light changed color. It went from bright orange/salmon to deep dark red back to orange/salmon then finished up deep dark red then vanished. The time for each color change was about a second.

The one object in the lead was moving faster than the other and picking up speed until it suddenly vanished. The second object moved at a constant speed and started to fade out when it went up through the clouds. These were not the flares sometimes seen in the southwest valley dropped by the military for training purposes as they were climbing in altitude quickly. Skies were partly cloudy and cloud base was approximately 5000 to 7000 ft. There was no sound present. I shot a video with my Samsung Note 3 but had trouble getting the phone to focus before the objects disappeared.

Saw 3 orange/red lights gliding through the sky, at an approximate equal distance from one another. Heading south at first, then they changed course and traveled east. They then disappeared. Movements of lights did not appear to be similar to the movement of an airplane or helicopter. No noise, either.

Was driving alone to Brush Prairie, WA, on Christmas Eve. There were 8 red lights stationary in the night sky in a very weird diagonal formation. One by one they disappeared. It was very cloudy and a full moon, the moon and the stars were both not visible that night.

At first we thought it was space debris as it was raining and overcast so the stars were completely blocked out. I know the car ahead of me saw it because they pulled over. Some mysterious object was over the hills maneuvering up and down, hovering, and darting off very quickly at angles. Disappearing and reappearing again. All the dogs in area were barking.. I was carrying in some groceries when I just happened to look up at the moon. I saw what looked like at least 50 small lights that looked like stars but about the size you would see on a plane. They were all in a formation, flying low and made absolutely no sound. I tried to snag a few pictures but couldn't because the moon was so bright. They stayed a constant shape, seemed to be all traveling in the same direction which appeared to be northbound. Another observation was that they looked to be traveling in groups of 2 and 3. I witnessed all of this for at least 3-5 minutes before heavy clouds covered the sky and moon. This was also witnessed with a veteran of the U.S Navy.

Yes I was ending a date that night about 1:22am and I was scraping her windows while she was in her car. All of a sudden I seen a reflection like the police helicopter just shined their lights on me I turned around and nothing. She asked "what was that light?" I said, "I don't know". I did not hear a boom, but some other did from what the news said. All I know is that-that light was bright!!! Like I said, I thought the police helicopter shined their light on me, and not even two seconds later, it was gone. In the morning they were talking about it on the news and did say some people heard a boom. I personally didn't and I was outside. I am wondering if anyone else saw this blue light in the night sky in Kimberley, BC, last night? I was standing on my balcony looking up at the night sky and a blue light caught my attention. It wasn't moving. At first, I thought it was an airplane, but there were no other flashing lights and this blue light, very intense was not flashing, nor was it moving. I kept watching it and then it started to move toward me and it wasn't moving very fast at first and then it 'zipped' forward and then came to a complete halt. It hovered for a second or so then 'zipped' back from where it came and did some slow hovering movement, kind of like it was looking for something and then it when over the horizon and I could no longer see it. As soon as my husband came home, I asked him to take a quick drive up the mountain, but we did not see anything. Tonight I was looking but do not see anything at all. On the evening of 23 December, 2015, I was returning home after a rip to our local department store. As I was parking our car in the front yard, I noticed a small bright light in the sky. At first I thought it was a navigational light on an aircraft. I live under the direct flight path of aircraft flying to and from Pittsburgh International, Washington-Dulles, and several other major airports in the area. But I have never seen aircraft lights move like this light did. This light although very bright and small moved from right to left, left to right, up and down, from side to side and corner to corner. It did not change speed or slow down to make these sudden movements. I thought I was seeing things, so I yelled to my wife to come out onto the front porch. She asked what I needed and I told her about the light. I showed her where to look to see the light and she confirmed what I had seen. She then called my three sons to come onto the porch and look at the light. Two of my sons and my eleven year old grand –daughter then came outside on the front porch. They also confirmed the light and its odd movement. We all agreed it was no aircraft that we knew of. I worked for ((deleted--aviation company)) for almost thirty years after serving a tour of duty with the ((deleted--aviation/military)). I have traveled around the world and have flown in all types of aircraft from a Cessna 150, an F4-Phanton to Boeing 747, and never have been in, or flown in any aircraft that moved like this light did. My third son also served a tour with the ((military)) air wing but he would not comment on what he saw. We did notice one thing strange about the light and its movements though. We live near a 500,000 and I am told a 750,000 volt power line that run side by side near our home. From where we were located and where the light seemed to be, it appeared to be moving above these power lines. I have waited to check on these lights again, but the weather has not been cooperative and every evening since seeing this light the sky has been overcast. I will continue to look for the light when I get a chance. Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD

Seen from back yard: bright and swiftly moving object caught eye. Comet like in appearance. White light tip with gold red tail flair. Close altitude proximity and fast...the moving brightness is what caught eye. Too fast to take picture...should have been seen from highways 23 and 118...traveling from Moorpark towards Simi Valley. There were numerous reports and videos of sightings from California, Nevada, and Arizona, of the re-entry of 2015-080B / 41178, on 2015 Dec 23, near 02:10 UTC (Dec 22 18:10 PST). It was the rocket body of the recent launch of Progress MS-01. It was the model 11S510, which has an empty mass of 2410 kg. Was driving and barely caught sight of what I (think) is a comet but never seen this low or for duration center valley. Captured at 6:09PM, 33 seconds of what seemed occurring for at least a minute, there was enough time for me to fumble for my video camera. There were 3 lights that were tiered that seemed moving yet stationary at the same time. As soon as I was able to pull into the median to capture it better, the lights faded instantly in the air. Helicopter's were flying into air space within moments but I have no clue further. Re-entering satellite debris. PD

I immediately told my husband to look and soon after the started to form a angle and go up. I instructed my husband to hurry and park the car so I could get a picture, all while watching them out the window. They started to go upward until they disappeared but a few seconds later I saw one single light go straight up into the air and dissappear. My husband seemed to think they were airplanes but I quickly informed him that planes can't fly that close without crashing into each other. I do believe what I saw was not of this world.

I went out to walk the dog. In the sky above neighborhood homes to the northwest I saw a line of red-orange lights not blinking flying northward. They appeared about 25 degrees off the horizon. The lights were a good size as if closer to the ground but no noise. I kept comparing what I saw to aircraft flying over, we live on the approach to Philadelphia airport. Not even close in size, speed, heading or view. They were mostly in a line but some were in pairs. These lights did not blink. I watched as they headed north eventually out of sight.

I was driving North on a gravel road, the object(s) were very low to ground three simultaneously blinking blue lights heading East to West, traveling faster than anything I've seen. I saw it from as directly above me as I could see and was out of sight within a matter of seconds. By the time I was able to comprehend what was happening the object(s) were gone. I pulled over to see but by then the lights object(s) had travelled out of site.

21:45 looking west watched approximately 20 bright red lights cross the sky over the course of 10-15 minutes. Very bright, non-blinking lights in groups of 2-3 crossed the sky. Did not hear any sound and did not see any color of light other than red. Most appeared to fly about the same speed but saw one light "rush" to catch up to a group ahead of it. They did not fly particularly fast except for the one that "caught up" to the others. Speed was still not particularly fast. I live close to New Castle airport so planes flying over are very common from small/medium jets to military aircraft from the Delaware Air Guard. These lights were not like anything I have seen fly over before and they actually flew away from the direction of the airport. Also, had other aircraft flying by normally at the same time for comparison, these did not look like airplanes or helicopters at night. I managed to take one picture with my phone, it is not particularly sharp but does show 4 of the lights in the right side of the frame and one more entering the left side. I am emailing the picture. We have written the witness, to request a copy of the photo, which we have not received, as of the date of posting the report. PD

December 19th, 2015. I went to bed as I usually do at just after 11:00pm. Because of a medical issue I get up often through the night. It was at this point the date is technically now December 20th, 2015 3:00 a.m. My staircase stops at the front door and out that door window I have seen the same night sky for a very long time now. But this time there was an extra light out the door window pointing to the North West. I live in the country there are not lost of extra lights, we have very active night life of coyotes, deer, and many other animals. This light I noticed was very bright, at first I thought maybe it was a planet but this object grew in brightness, grew extremely bright. But it was motionless and as I watch it a plane very far off blinking red light so I assume it was a plane far in the sky. This other object was still motionless but what seemed to be too low in the sky to be a star also this was normally a blank space in the clear night sky. There should not have been an object there and has not every night since. I went back to bed after watching this object for about ten minutes. Again the time is now approximately, December 20th, 2015 3:10 a.m. I pass a stove clock on my night trip to the bathroom so I see the time each time I get up. I again got up as I do this time it was just after 4:00 a.m. December 20th, 2015 and I took notice that the object was gone not out the front door window North West. This time I took a quick shower as I itch often so bad I need to shower just to be able to relieve the itching, it is all part of a recovery from a bone marrow transplant. I got out and checked the time so I knew how long before my wife would be waking; it would be Sunday Morning December 20th, 2015 when we got up and the sun was up. So again it is almost 4:30 a.m. December 20th, 2015, I have to the South East a wall of windows and looked out to see is there was any snow falling? No, still too warm, very unseasonably warm for the North where I am. It is at this time I notice that object from the front door window is now out my South East Window, this is not the direction the stars or moon moves in as they travel the night sky, so this right off tells me there is something different about this object. I call to my wife upstairs to come down and take a look. This object is so bright and motionless and again too low in the sky from the horizon perspective to be a planet or star and it is far brighter than all the other stars. And now each night I look for this object, if it were something regularly in the night sky I expect I should see it but, I have not. It was there it was very big and bright, to me it looked the size about what looked like a ¼ of the size of the moon which was not yet out as the full moon is still to come for this month. Compared to other objects in the night sky this was huge and bright and did not move while I watched it. I watched it for about 15 minutes this second time and it just got very bright then would get very dim, once it did seem to just go out but then came back on, this was a very white light in that is seemed to appear to be so white I could see other colors of the spectrum in it like neon green, yellow, very lite blue. Today is December! 24th, 2015 and still no sign of it in the sky, I wonder was this my very first sighting? I can-not explain what it was and it did not seem to belong there. I will watch and look every night from here on out, and now am looking to get some form of telescope, I don’t really care to try and prove this to any but for my own fascination I want a better look. I, along with my partner observed the light grow brighter and brighter then completely go out. It would repeat this process all of the nights I was observing it. To the naked eye, the light seemed as if it was staying in one spot. However, recording it put the object in better prospective, and can be seen moving very suddel. Témoignage en 2017 d'une observation faite le 18 décembre 2015 aux environs de 19h45 -20h. Le témoin rapporte les évolutions (déplacement rectiligne, arrêt, et reprise du déplacement) d'une lumière fuchsia fluo dans le ciel du proche centre-ville de Mulhouse (68). Aucun bruit particulier n'est entendu. Aucune forme n'est distinguée. Le témoin perd de vue le phénomène qui se trouve caché par les toits environnants.Un seul témoignage est recueilli. La consistance est correcte, avec une bonne description par le témoin de l’observation et une photographie la reconstituant. Nous avons pu montrer (voir le compte rendu d'enquête) dans cette analyse que les témoins avaient probablement observés un drone de loisir, équipé d’une signalisation lumineuse, et utilisé dans des conditions non autorisées (de nuit et en agglomération). Cette conclusion s’appuie sur les deux éléments principaux suivants : - le comportement du PAN, avec une trajectoire rectiligne et un arrêt net, suivi d’un redémarrage instantané à la vitesse initiale est typique de celui des drones. La distance d’observation ainsi que la faible inertie de ces appareils empêchent les témoins de distinguer d’éventuels petits mouvements parasites du drone, qui aurait pu se produire lors de son arrêt et de son redémarrage. - la couleur observée, fuchsia, est fantaisiste et ne se conforme pas du tout à celles habituellement utilisées en navigation aérienne. Ce type d’utilisation de couleurs fantaisistes est typique de la « customisation » de drones pouvant être effectuée par certains propriétaires. Par ailleurs, le bruit n’a pas pu être entendu par les témoins, à la fois en raison de la distance les séparant du drone, du bruit modéré émis par les moteurs de ce type d’engin, du vent non porteur et du bruit ambiant de circulation. Egalement en raison de la distance d’observation, mais aussi à cause de ses dimensions réduites, la forme du drone n’a pas pu être observée, seule sa lumière l’étant. Nous pouvons noter que bien que le propriétaire de ce drone ait équipé son engin d’une signalisation lumineuse, il ne respecte ni l’interdiction de faire voler son drone de nuit, ni celle de l’utiliser au-dessus d’une agglomération. Certains propriétaires de drones, en plus de ne pas respecter la réglementation, prennent des risques parfois inconsidérés (possibilités de dommages matériels, voire corporels), inconscients du danger.
