18 to 20 orange light spheres moving SW to NE. Silent. About the size of a nickel held at arm's length.

I saw three red lights close together in the northeast sky. My first thought as I watched it come closer was that it was a helicopter. But the lights moved in ways I have never seen a helicopter move. It moved awkward as planes moved through the sky. The lights were very bright red and solid in a triangular arrangement, they moved in unison in a zigzag pattern. Then the red lights blinked on and off. The lights then moved quickly vertical. Several times the red lights changed to one solid purple light. Then the red lights went out and moved straight down in a purple streak. The red lights then moved up and went down behind a tree line out of my view by the train tracks. There were several planes in the sky when this occurred. I was unable to tell if the three red lights made a sound because a train was going through town at the time. The next morning, I was telling my father in law what I had seen and he said he had been woke up by a noise and when he look out the window towards the train tracks he saw a bright red light.

Light that constantly dimmed and got brighter. Blue and green shades, hadn't moved for the 18 minutes, then faded and hadn't reappeared. Not sure how to tell if it is a star that's being blocked or if anything should be there. Possible sighting of a star, perhaps Sirius?? PD

La Luz, NM

We saw three of these in the sky 01/28/2016 at 10:49 P.M.. We (my wife and I) walked out the garage door and she noticed a yellow light at about the 12 o'clock position. It was about the color of a amber street light. Then at the 7 o'clock position another one came on. A few seconds later at the center between these two, yet another one came on. About one minute later the center one went out, then the lower one went out, followed by the one at the 12 o'clock position. There were no aircraft sounds or any other sounds around. We live in La Luz, NM, and the lights appeared to be over Alamogordo, NM, about 3 to 4 miles away. These lights were very prominent in the night sky. When I arrived at work (in Alamogprdo @ 2300), the security guard at the facility also told me he had seen these lights.

I live in Tome, New Mexico, with my 11 acres of farm land right up against the Rio Grande bosque. Very regularly, at about 9 or 10 pm, when i look west towards the bosque, i can see 1 or two orange colored lights hovering just above the treeline, and at times very clearly flying into the canopy. The orange lights seem to be about 5 to 10 feet in diameter and it moves completely silently. Almost every time i see the lights, they are heading south, and when they start to get close to Belen (a town just south of me) they vanish instantly and completely. I see them almost every night and was wondering if its a normal occurance or something strange that my brother and i have seen.

Phoenix (Fort McDowell), AZ

On Jan. 28th, 2016 at approx. 7:30 P.M.. I was traveling northbound on Hwy 87, just past Fort McDowell Casino and I spotted 4 lights in a row, as I was looking northwest. These lights were bright white in front and flashing red lights from side to rear. After I passed and looked back they were no longer visible, however there were several more ahead of me. While driving, I noticed several vehicles pulled over and people standing on the side of the road staring at the objects which drew my curiosity to watch these lights closer. At first, I assumed they were planes but as I got closer I noticed that the lights seem to break off and stretched for miles of approx. 12-15 bright lights in a straight line. Roughly 200 ft. west of Hwy 87 and approx. 500 feet above ground. I didn’t become suspicious until about the 6th light that I passed, I then pulled over about a mile before Bush Hwy exit and got out of vehicle, it was very quiet, no sound and objects remained very still, hovering. I tried to capture a picture but it only looked like a bright dot (crappy cell phone camera). After approx. 5 minutes of watching these objects remain motionless, thoughts began to run through my head, as I was trying to rationalize what these were, drones, planes, or military crafts etc. My only logical conclusion was UFO’s which prompted me to get back into the vehicle and drive away, heading northbound on highway 87. While driving past the Sugar-loaf/4 Peaks turn off, I spotted several other lights hovering east and west of the highway. There was 2 remaining lights in front of me. After I passed the second light, I didn’t see any more and that concludes my sighting.

I was travelling (Driving ) alone as I had some work early on next day. During the crossing of Patur Ghat (Valley), I noticed strange light something like Purple/Violet in colour flashing very briefly in the clouds which was unusual. Even some of the vehicles (Truck Drivers) noticed this, as they also slowed their vehicle speed. It was very brief, less than 10 seconds. The Valley is a forest area. I was moving some things outside when I looked to the western sky and noticed 3 bright red lights ascending into the sky from the horizon when the lead light went out about 80* overhead. Followed by the remaining 2 going out at lower heights. Then a few seconds later 2 more rose from the horizon to blink out a little lower down, followed by a 6th light that blinked out a little closer to the horizon.

On January 27, 2016, at around 6:00p.m., my brother-in-law called me and told me to look toward the East for a bright star that was twinkling a lot. I walked outside, looked to the East and saw a large, bright star changing from white to blue to red. My brother-in-law said he thought he saw what were spotlights coming off of it for a brief moment. Then I saw a bright ball, smaller than the star, shoot away from it, change directions and then the bright ball was gone. I kept going outside all night to look at it and never saw anything else coming from the “star.” We suspect the object may have been a "twinkling" star. PD

It appears to radiate light, white light, bright to dim at some points, but always visible. From my viewpoint, it appeared to be mpvng from South to north, making very fast, erratic movements in all directions as it made its way below the treeline out of my site. Again, I can't figure out what the hell it is, I've seen it multiple times, its movements are unpredictable. Planet? Planet? PD

Buckeye, AZ

Driving in Buckeye, AZ, going south, I saw to my right off in the distance 2 large amber lights, flickering midway up in the sky. At first, I thought they might have been flares, so I kept looking at them as I was driving. I was heading home which is further out on the southern edge of Buckeye. It took me approx. 10 minutes to get to my street and the lights were still hanging in the sky. I decided to drive down a country road in that direction to see them better. I thought I could get closer to them, however after driving a few more miles it seemed I wasn't getting any closer so they must've been further away than I thought. They were fading in & out and re-appearing either in the same spot as they disappeared in or they re-appeared in a different spot. At one point I saw a couple of small lights develop out of one of the bigger ones and hung at the same altitude horizontally from the bigger one and then faded out. They kind of reminded me of Christmas lights blinking but more randomly. Sometimes they would all disappear and then return. I did observe one of them very close to the ground. Interesting to note, before I became aware of these strange lights. I saw 2 military jets make a huge U turn around Buckeye flying over the area where I saw the lights, then the jets made a U turn and headed back towards the direction of the AF base. I thought that was rather odd as they usually head in the direction of Yuma, AZ, where there is another base. A coincidence or not? I don't know. I've seen 2 lights in the sky just like that flying back in 2013 coming from the northwest in Buckeye. No noise from them, no other lights except the amber color. One flew towards the Luke AFB and the other went straight east towards Phoenix. They disappeared as they went past me as the amber light appeared to be on the front of the craft and no other lights were on or flashing which was weird in and of itself. It was flying pretty low, about at the height of what a helicopter would fly. At that time in 2013, a UFO skywatcher I knew had reported 2 amber lights in the sky in Fresno, CA, at around the same time I had seen them and he stated they were heading in the same direction as I saw them coming from.

Roswell/Ruidoso, NM

We witnessed 3 large orange lights appearing, disappearing and moving horizontally in different directions almost if they were sliding left and right and changing opacity as they did so. We saw this happen twice. The first instance: Our family was traveling west outside of Roswell heading to New Mexico the evening of January 26th, 2017. Approximately 20 miles west of Roswell we spotted 3 large, very strange lights in the northwest sky. We immediately knew these were not normal. These orange lights hovered in the sky as they sort of whispers or danced with each other fading in and out. We could not make out any physical shape that was generating the light. There is nothing out here. We've travelled this route several times. It was extremely dark at the time. We could see that the stars went down on the horizon as to rule out the lights being on top of high terrain. Additionally, there are no radio towers here. This experience lasted about 15 seconds. My wife and I both saw this. The second instance happened once we arrived in Ruidoso just as we passed Ruidoso Downs. We pulled over to get water from the cooler for the kids. I immediately noticed the same 3 lights in the same configuration as before acting in the same way! I motioned for my wife to witness the lights. This lasted about 7 seconds. I'm not the kind of person to report this kind of thing, but this was a very real and distinct experience that we cannot explain. For us, it was diffinitive proof that we are not privy to everything that happens around us. It was one of the craziest things I've ever seen!

We looked back at Venus, then look back at Jupiter and the ball of light was gone. We stared at it for a good 3 to 4 minutes wondering if it could be another planet, and remarking that it was in the wrong place for the planet alignment. We looked away for only a second, look back and it was gone. It had no movement nor did it have any flashing lights to represent an airplane or anything like that. It just looked like a very bright planet just above Jupiter in the western sky.

Then a second light appeared above it and it reversed again and both orange lights started to move in unison going east. I zig zag a couple of times and slowed down. It was not a helicopter, it was not a small aircraft. I do not drink or do any kind of drugs or prescriptions. Hope this is useful just in case others report the same thing since I was alone in my sighting.

Something in the sky above Windsor, Nova Scotia, and it don't appear to be moving, but is flashing green red yellow lights. It isn't a consistent flashing pattern. We suspect a sighting of a "twinkling" star, perhaps Sirius. PD

It was green, very bright. Moved in circles, then left and right, shot up and then down and continued to make weird circling patterns. Then it very very slowly started lowering itself down towards the tree lines and was gone. The light was bright, didn't flicker and it had this weird shape around it that I could only describe as being the night sky in a circle around it but a few shades lighter. Like, it was invisible. The light needed around it.

Four Oaks, NC

Last night around 10:30 pm, I saw a yellow light to the Northwest of Four Oaks (somewhere near Garner, NC, & 3 cell-phone towers). It changed from red to yellow, then a second object emerged. After moving around some they disappeared, been seeing these lights almost every night between 10 pm and 1 am for the last 2 weeks starting on January 10. It was 6:43 pm on spring creek road we were heading towards west when i look into the sky and saw at first one light that seemed between the colors of yellow and orange it soon disapeared and then three more appeared in a consecutive order perfectly one after another those all turned off and another appeared right under where the first one appeared then that one disappeared and the last one appeared where it first began and they all disappeared.

The object appeared to stop and move opposite directions. It did this several times, as I got my binoculars out. After several minutes of looking through the binoculars, the object stopped moving. It was no longer red and blue-green, but was emitting white light. Its look resembled that of a star. I took a picture and downloaded it. What really interested me was when I applied normal "filters", which would typically just increase the contrast, or fade the saturation of a photograph. In pictures taken at 1am without flash, I did not expect a variation when applying the filters. However, to my surprise the filters resulted in wild colors being shown in the background, while the object remained white.

I was driving east on Highway 56 and saw a bright red and orange light fly in from the south, turn and hover in the sky in front my my car for about a minute, then instantly disappear. The light was slowly changing color as it moved between red and orange. I had music playing on a USB connection from my phone that started skipping songs as soon as the light appeared, until it started playing a song called 'Creep In A Shirt' from about halfway in, where he sings the word alien.

Suspected UFO sighting Sat Jan 23, 2016 8:15PM Driving down FM2109 outside Huntington TX, coming home from moon viewing with friends and telescopes. Mostly clear, a few light clouds, full moon or near full. At first, I saw 4 orange lights above the road to my left, pulled over to get a look and some pictures at the first available driveway. Once stopped I could see there were 6 orange lights, moving slowly at low altitude, probably no more than 2000 feet. The 3 in front were in a triangle formation, the 3 following in a semi straight line. I tried to get a couple of pictures, due to the lens I was using (135mm) I was only able to get one at a time rather than the whole group. After trying to get pictures of one in the rear, I saw that two in front were gone, and a seventh had appeared bringing up the rear. The one in the lead started to slowly climb to a higher altitude, getting dimmer, until it finally went out of sight. The others all did the same, until all 7 were gone. Orange lights is all I could see, no details of any definite craft, no flying craft I know of made on this planet has lights that color. Also, totally silent, no noise I could hear at all. A couple of cars passed by as I stood and watched, none stopped. Between cars I could hear quite well, if they had made any noise at all I would have been able to easily hear it. A helicopter at that altitude, for example, would have been loud. These were just lights, of a very unusual color, moving slowly at low altitude, with no noise at all. I could not determine any definite shape, so I cannot say if they were round, oblong, or whatever.

Went outside to look at the bright moon. We saw what we thought was a satellite, then noticed three other fast moving lights, moving in the same east to west pattern fairly equidistance from each other. Tried to use the Night Sky app to check satellite status, it registered other satellites in the sky, but none of the moving lights registered as a satellite, space station, etc. Watched for a few minutes, all seemed to fade away. Went to a neighbor's door and had him come outside to watch. He is the verified third witness. Lasted roughly 10 minutes. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information.
