Central Point, OR
I saw a streak of blue/green light in night sky close to Central Point, Oregon on 9-13-2015 around 9pm. It seemed close not like a falling star more like lighting (but straight) and was unlike any kind of lighting I have ever seen. There was no storm or rain just a clear starry night sky at the time. The streak was very bright in color and coming from the sky downward at a slanted angle. I could see the straight blue/green light as a whole line at once and unlike a comet did not seem to have a larger front with a tail but uniformed in size from top to bottom. There was no nose and was not above city lights so it was very bright and rather shocking at first site, However, also rather pretty. I just would like to know what it was I saw. I believe it to be an unusual but explainable occurrence…I just don’t know what kind and I thought you might know. Thank You, J PS...when I say it was blue-green I don't mean it was mixed it was more green on the outsides and blue in the middle if that helps.

at the point i went inside to grab binoculars. i knew it wasn't natural what i was seeing, but i wasn't convinced it was a ufo until what happened next. when i returned with the binoculars i was still tracking this star light object. what convinced me was the object made a 90 degree turn and as it did there was a flash of blue light. the light lasted a second and objected continued to cross parallel in front of me. as i was following it with my eyes it looked like it stopped behind some clouds. when i was looking at the cloud it looked like there was lightening in the cloud. small flashes of light were coming from behind the cloud and the object never reappeared.

Last night (9/9/2015), I walked out of my house at about 8:30 pm to go close the door on our chicken coop for the evening. As I was walking back up the driveway towards my house I saw a red, blue, and white cluster of lights traveling up from the south. The cluster flew directly overhead (traveling in a northerly direction). I initially thought it was a plane. Where I live, it is not uncommon to see red flashing running lights of commercial airplanes flying south to north. My guess is that these planes fly up from California heading north to the Portland airport. So they are often visible in the Willamette Valley (where I am located). The planes stick to a regular pathway, and I see them on a fairly regular basis (sometimes during the day and sometimes at night). Nothing unusual about it. I am not an aviation expert, however I am convinced the lights I saw last night were not airplanes. For the following reasons: 1) There were at least 12 different sets of these flashing lights visible over a period of three hours 2) Several times they stopped moving, clustered together, and then changed directions 3) The lights were brighter than a commercial aircraft and appeared lower in the sky than the planes I sometimes see in the night sky. In addition, the paths that these lights took did not conform to the regular pathways I see commercial aircraft travel. They were predominantly moving south to north, however not all of them. Some came from other directions (out of the west moving east, or out of the east moving north. I was very intrigued by what I was watching, so I went into my house and asked my wife to come outside. She came out onto the lawn and we both watched at least four different sets of these lights traveling in a south to northerly direction over the course of about five minutes. She shrugged and said she didn’t know what they were and went back into the house. So after a few minutes, I went into the house too. About 30 minutes later, I went back outside to see if the lights were still around. And they were. Over the course of the next two hours I watched them travel around the sky. It was kind of cold (upper 40’s, low 50’s) so I didn’t stay outside the entire time. I’d watch them for 20 minutes or so, go in the house to warm up, then go back out again. I took about six short videos of the lights with my cell phone. However, none came out very well. The video caught a few blinking flashes, but the quality is pretty poor. At about 11:15 pm, I went back out to check again and they were gone. So by my count they were in the sky from about 8:30 (just after dark) and hung around for almost three hours. The general pattern of travel and behavior of the lights were as follows: a) They traveled from the southern horizon (like at the tree line) then traveled north-northeast to basically the other horizon. So I would look south and watch them come up, fly overhead (or in some cases say 10 degrees off the eastern horizon) then I’d have to turn 180 degrees until I was facing north. The lights would come to rest above the northern horizon and hold that position. That wasn’t the exclusive pattern. Sometimes it was the opposite (coming out of the north, then coming to a stop on the southern horizon). I also saw them coming out of the east (as if they were coming over from the direction of the City of Bend). Others would came out of the west. However I would say 85% of the time the pattern was south to north, then coming to a stop in the northern sky. Then they would either blink out or keep moving north until they were out of sight. One cluster seemed to sit there the entire time I was watching. Most of the others seemed to move around, come and! go, but this one seemed to remain in view constantly. b) The speed of travel wasn’t particularly fast. I would say slightly faster than what a commercial aircraft speed looks like in the sky. They certainly weren’t zipping around, darting from one corner to another at high speeds. Just sort of a lazy, steady speed moving from one side of the horizon to the other. c) Over the period of time that I watched these things, a few of the light clusters approached each other. At one time—I saw three clusters come fairly close together and hold their position for a few minutes. Then they moved back away from each other. That really convinced me that something about this was quite strange and certainly not an airplane. I suppose they could have been helicopters. We’ve had a lot of wildfires in the region this summer and maybe there were helicopters moving equipment around? That’s the only explanation that I can think of. And I think that’s a bit of a stretch since I didn’t hear any sound whatsoever. Again, I’m no aviation expert—however it would seem dangerous for helicopters to fly so close together in clusters at nighttime. At one point, I tried contacting a friend of mine who lives in the neighborhood to see if he could see them too. Unfortunately, it was late by then and I wasn’t able to reach him. However, I was glad to see on your web-site that there was a couple from Lebanon that reported something similar on 8/19/2015 and on 8/11/2015. I wish to remain anonymous, however would be glad to talk by phone or exchange info by email if you would like any additional details. Thanks for your time. (( We spoke at length via telephone with the witness, and he sounded to us to be exceptionally eloquent and sober-minded. Also, because of both his academic background, and his line of work, we suspect that he is an excellent, and highly reliable, witness. PD

I could easily see what he was looking at it appeared to be triangle in shape but the main thing was the changing of light colors from green, to red, to white, flashing back and forth, it lasted for almost a full 10 to 15 mins, dimming in brightness as time went on. We attempted to take pictures but unsuccessful, camera was missing card, then used I-pad camera, which showed a white halo in sky as it was finished its changing of colored lights by this point.. We noticed several stars in the sky, but this object we saw was not a typical star. It was obvious flashing, colors of lines that represented a triangle. The object never appeared to move and if so extremely slow. Just to the right of this object was a star.

On Sunday, September 6th from 12:50pm to approximately 1:30pm in Bayville, NY. The sky was clear blue and no clouds. my girlfriend and i observed a small but incredible bright flashing object. The best description would be akin to seeing a very bright planet shining in a clear night sky but this was occurring during the early afternoon. The sun was very high in the sky at this time. The object was to the North at about the 11'oclock position. The object never moved. It was stationary. The flashes would flash very bright for approx 3 seconds and then lessen to planetary brightness for approximately 3 seconds. This would repeat and there would be a similar period of intermittent brightness. This was a recurrent cycle that did not deviate. The intensity of the flashes were reminiscent of a mirror reflecting pure sunlight. It was such a fine point of bright light that the passenger jets in the area completely dwarfed it. I thought maybe it was a mylar balloon, satellite or an actual planet but it did not move or decrease in intensity for the 35-40 minutes i observed it. I did not watch it go away because I was watching for a long time and my girlfriend wanted us to enjoy our kayaking together. Note: Polarized sunglasses helped see object better.

Approximately 1:00AM, I saw an extremely bright flash in the western skies. The flash lit up the sky, and appeared to be extremely light blue/lime green in color, with a very thick and dense cloudy texture that moved quickly. It happened so fast that it reminded me of a camera flash, except it seemed to be faster than that. After the flash went away, I was unable to see any kind of residue or anything left behind by the flash.

Green flashing lights: My fiance and I left a friend's house during a thunder storm last night. Bolts were shooting across the sky throughout the night, typical of this time of year. Then, facing north ("behind love's gas station" while headed north on 44th ave) the entire sky lit up green, like the color of a green traffic light. It flashed three times within ten seconds, another ten seconds went by and it flashed two more times. At this point, east of us and much nearer to us, we saw a glowing white area in the sky. I quickly called our friend and told him to go outside. He and his girlfriend saw two flashes that we did not see; he was east of us (near "the beverage barn"). One of the unusual parts about it, we could see every lighting bolt below the clouds, buy the green flashing and the white orb both seemed "behind" the clouds, which didn't appear as storm clouds so much as just a black blanket across the sky preventing the stars from being visible. In other words, this happened much "higher" in the sky than the lightning we were seeing. Also, no thunder accompanied the green flashes. The white orb also appeared behind the clouds/atmosphere, but was so bright that the white seemed to seep through downward (I hate to use such a stereotypical word, but now that I search for the proper descriptive words, I could only most accurately say that the light "beamed" down). The super white "beam" stayed immobile and lasted between one and two minutes, the light went straight down and didn't funnel out at all, and didn't reach all the way down to the ground (a field in between 44th ave and I-75). It was all very unusual; as a storm and science lover, and biology major, I have watched tons of storms and never saw anything even slightly similar. In the car, we joked: "If aliens ever truly visit us, then THAT WAS IT!"

I stepped outside through my garage (I live in an apartment, so the garage leads to the back into a parking lot) to check if my cat was around, when I look to the left, I see a really bright flash moving super fast to the left through the nightsky into nothing. Just like a shooting star, but it seemed a whole lot bigger and as if it went from one door to another through the sky. It appeared, moved really fast throught the sky, maybe an inch or two from my distance, then disappeared. This only lasted about 2-3 seconds and I couldn't really make a shape out of it, it just seemed like when somebody moves a light really fast in complete darkness, the way it draggs to the way they move it, except it vanished instantly shortly after I had seen it. I then waited in case I would see something else, but unfortunately that was the end of it. This occurred around 23:56 on August 11th, 2015. I had not checked the time, had it occurred to me, I would have. My brother had yelled to me from inside, that is when I checked the time and it was 23:58, so I assume it was a few minutes before that. I am not in any way making any of this up, it is for whomever reads this to decide what they think of it. I simply couldn't make any logical explanation out of it, it surely could not have been a plane due to the size, speed and brightness of it. In the end, it could be my brain playing tricks on me, but I truly don't think that.

In bed next to girlfriend and woke up because thirsty. Southwest of the city, flashes/explosive lights filling the sky. No sounds, just silent, near blinding lights. Duration was ~1.5s every 2-4 minutes. As I type, it is continuing to move on a westward trajectory toward the coastal hills. When closest to this location, streetlights, fans and AC units would dim when flashes occurred.

Was looking out open window and a white light lit up the entire area for a second or two. Not a sound, the moon is full and bright. Felt pressure in my ears and it was gone. I looked up in the sky and saw nothing, I was looking to the back yard not up, when it happened. Very curious as to what this was. Cameras active in the area have got to have picked it up. Please do a search of local cams around 22032 in heart of Fairfax City, Virginia. between 3:57 and 4:00, as that's the estimated time of the event as I got to my phone a minute later. To be more accurate, it was probably at 3:58/3:59, duration 2 seconds.

5 of us were on our pontoon boat and I saw a horizontal flash of light in 3 separate lines across the sky…there is no way it was a plane… It only lasted a few seconds, but it was bright..then gone. The length of the light flashes was 3 times longer than a jet from the distance I saw it…it was not lightning as there was not a cloud in the sky

While I was outside in the country part of town stargazing cause stars are more visible away from the town lights. I seen 3 red fireball lights. 2 was close together and the third was further out, almost made a triangle shape. As one light would fade off slowly the second close one would appear and then slowly fade. Then it is unable to be seen for a minute and would appear again a little across the sky. Appeared very low cause lights were a third brightness of the moon. Very weird and exciting. I will be looking at same time tomorrow.

Vincennes, IN
On the way home from Evansville my girlfriend was driving, I was in the passenger seat. Her friend was asleep in the back seat. We were just about to get into Vincennes, when we both saw an odd blue light up ahead on the road. We both assumed it was a cop car. I thought it was a light on top of the regal construction building till the light kept moving in flashes toward us till it was eventually over the field, parallel to the right side of the highway. As the light moved past us with each blink it picked up a considerable amount of speed exceeding any aircraft I have seen and I recently saw the blue angels perform in Evansville. The lights appeared to be approxamtely 100 feet from ground level and did not appear to be attached to anything, though it was very dark in the area and again, the light kept blinking and was very hard to focus on as each blink only lasted maybe a tenth of a second. We watched the light pass us and go over the fields heading south toward Princeton/Evansville. We had not been drinking or consuming any drugs. I thought I may be seeing things till my girlfriend confirmed she saw the exact same object.
